Isaiah Chapter 38 - | Early Church Bible

1: And it came to pass [G1096][G1161] in [G1722] the [G3588] that time [G2540][G1565] Hezekiah was infirm unto [G2193] death [G2288]. And [G2532] there came [G2064] to [G4314] him [G1473] Isaiah son [G5207] of Amoz the [G3588] prophet [G4396]; and [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473], Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], Give orders [G5021] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] your house [G3624][G1473]! die [G1063] for [G1063] you [G1473], and [G2532] will not [G3756] live [G2198].
2: And [G2532] Hezekiah turned the [G3588] his face [G4383][G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588] wall [G5109], and [G2532] prayed [G4336] to [G4314] Boss '[G2962],
3: saying [G3004], Remember [G3403], O Boss '[G2962], as [G5613] I was gone [G4198] before [G1799] you [G1473] with [G3326] truth , in [G1722] heart [G2588] a true , and [G2532] the [things] [G3588] pleasing before [G1799] you [G1473] I did [G4160]. And [G2532] Hezekiah wept [G2799] weeping [G2805] with great [G3173].
4: And [G2532] came [G1096] word [G3056] [of the] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Isaiah, saying [G3004],
5: Go [G4198], and [G2532] say [G2036] to Hezekiah, Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] God '[G2316] of David the [G3588] father [G3962] of you [G1473]; I heard the [G3588] your prayer [G4335][G1473], and [G2532] looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] your tears [G1144][G1473]. Look [G2400], I add [G4369] to [G4314] the [G3588] your time [G5550][G1473] fifteen [G1178] years [G2094].
6: And [G2532] from out of [G1537] hand [G5495] of king of Assyrians I will rescue [G4506] you [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] this city [G4172][G3778]; and [G2532] I will shield over [G5228] the [G3588] this city [G4172][G3778].
7: And this [G3778][G1161] to you [G1473] [is] the [G3588] sign [G4592] from [G3844] Boss '[G2962], that [G3754] will do [G4160] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] this thing [G4487][G3778] which [G3739] he said [G2980].
8: look [G2400], I [G1473] will turn [G4762] the [G3588] shadow [G4639] of the [G3588] stairs which [G3739] went down [G2597] the [G3588] ten [G1176] stairs of the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] father [G3962] of you [G1473] the [G3588] sun [G2246]. I will return the [G3588] sun [G2246] the [G3588] ten [G1176] stairs which [G3739] went down [G2597] the [G3588] shadow [G4639].
9: prayer [G4335] of Hezekiah king of the [G3588] Judea when [G2259] he was infirm and [G2532] he rose up from [G1537] the [G3588] his infirmity [G3119][G1473].
10: I [G1473] said [G2036] in [G1722] the [G3588] height [G5311] of the [G3588] my days [G2250][G1473], I will go [G4198] to [G1722] gates [G4439] of Hades ; I will forsake [G2641] the [G3588] years [G2094] the [G3588] remaining [G1954].
11: I said [G2036], No longer [G3765] in any way will I look [at] [G1492] the [G3588] deliverance [G4992] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] upon [G1909] land '[G1093] of living [G2198]. No longer [G3765] in any way will I look [at] [G1492] a man with [G3326] ones inhabiting [G2730].
12: I failed [G1587] my kin [G4772][G1473]; I forsook [G2641] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] my life [G2222][G1473]; it departed [G1831] and [G2532] went forth from me [G1473] as [G5618] the [G3588] [one] resting up [G2647] a tent [G4633] pitching [G4078]. the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of me [G1473] in [G3844] me [G1473] became [G1096] as [G5613] web of one working in wool approaching [G1448] to cut it off .
13: In [G1722] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565] I was delivered over [G3860] until [G2193] morning [G4404]. As [G5613] a lion [G3023] so [G3779] he broke [G4937] all [G3956] the [G3588] my bones [G3747][G1473]. For from [G1063] the [G3588] day [G2250] until [G2193] the [G3588] night [G3571] I was delivered over [G3860].
14: As [G5613] a swallow , so [G3779] will I call out [G5455], and [G2532] as [G5613] a dove [G4058], so [G3779] will I meditate [G3191]. failed [G1587] For [G1063] my [G1473] the [G3588] eyes [G3788] the [G3588] to see into [G1519] the [G3588] height [G5311] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], to [G4314] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] who [G3739] rescued [G1807] me [G1473].
15: And [G2532] he removed of my [G1473] the [G3588] grief [G3601] the [G3588] soul [G5590], and [G2532] he [G1473] acted [G4160].
16: O Boss '[G2962], concerning [G4012] tof him '[G1473] for [G1063] it was announced to you [G1473], and [G2532] you awakened [G1825] my [G1473] the [G3588] breath [G4157], and [G2532] being comforted [G3870] I live [G2198].
17: look [G2400], [being] in [G1722] peace [G1515] [was] bitter [G4088] for me [G1473]. For you took up [G1063] my [G1473] the [G3588] soul [G5590], that [G2443] it should not perish [G3361]; and [G2532] you threw away behind [G3694] me [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] my sins [G1473].
18: not [G3756] For [G1063] the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] Hades will] praise you [G1473]; nor [G3761] the [G3588] [ones] dying will bless [G2127] you [G1473]; nor [G3761] will hope [G1679] the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] Hades the [G3588] on your charity [G1654][G1473].
19: The [G3588] living [G2198] will bless [G2127] you [G1473] in which [G3739] manner [G5158] as I [G2504]; for from [G1063] the [G3588] today [G4594] children [G3813] I will produce [G4160] who [G3739] will announce the [G3588] your righteousness [G1343][G1473],
20: O Boss '[G2962] of the [G3588] my deliverance [G4991][G1473]; even [G2532] I will not [G3756] cease [G3973] blessing [G2127] you [G1473] with [G3326] psaltery all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] my life [G2222][G1473], before [G2713] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
21: And [G2532] Isaiah said [G2036] to [G4314] Hezekiah, Take [G2983] a dried cluster of figs [G4810], and [G2532] grind [them , and [G2532] plaster [with it , and [G2532] in health [G5199] you will be .
22: And [G2532] Hezekiah said [G2036], What [is [G5100] the [G3588] sign [G4592] that [G3754] I will go up into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
