Luke Chapter 18 - | Early Church Bible

1: And he spoke [G3004][G1161] also [G2532] a paralell '[G3850] to them [G1473], to [G4314] the [G3588] necessity [G1163] at all times [G3842] to pray [G4336], and [G2532] not [G3361] to tire [G1573],
2: saying [G3004], judge [G2923] There was a certain [G5100] in [G1722] a certain [G5100] city [G4172], the [G3588] God '[G2316] not [G3361] fearing [G5399], and [G2532] man not [G3361] respecting [G1788].
3: And a widow [G5503][G1161] was in [G1722] the [G3588] that city [G4172][G1565], and [G2532] she came [G2064] to [G4314] him [G1473], saying [G3004], Avenge [G1556] me [G1473] off the [G3588] my opponent [G1473]!
4: And [G2532] he did not want [to [G3756][G2309] for [G1909] a time [G5550]; but afterwards [G3326][G1161][G3778] he said [G2036] to [G1722] himself [G1438], If even [G1499] the [G3588] God '[G2316] I do not [G3756] fear [G5399], and [G2532] man I do not [G3756] respect [G1788];
5: yet because [G1223][G1065] the [G3588] makes [G3930] trouble to me [G1473][G2873] the [G3588] this widow [G5503][G3778], I will avenge [G1556] her [G1473], that [G2443] not [G3361] in [G1519] end [G5056] it should come to pass [G2064] bruising me [G5299][G1473].
6: said [G2036] And [G1161] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], Hear what [G5100] the [G3588] judge [G2923] the [G3588] unrighteous says [G3004].
7: the [G3588] But [G1161] God '[G2316], will he in no way execute [G4160] the [G3588] vengeance [G1557] of the [G3588] [ones] of his chosen [G1588][G1473], of the [G3588] [ones] yelling to [G4314] him [G1473] day [G2250] and [G2532] night [G3571], and [G2532] is lenient [G3114] unto [G1909] them [G1473].
8: I say [G3004] to you [G1473] that [G3754] he will execute [G4160] the [G3588] his vengeance [G1557][G1473] quickly [G1722][G5034]. Furthermore [G4133], the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man , having come [G2064] then , will he find [G2147] the [G3588] trust '[G4102] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]?
9: And he spoke [G2036][G1161] also [G2532] to [G4314] some [G5100] (the [ones] [G3588] relying [G3982] upon [G1909] themselves [G1438], that [G3754] they are righteous [G1342], and [G2532] treating with contempt [G1848] the [G3588] rest [G3062]) the [G3588] this paralell '[G3850][G3778].
10: men Two [G1417] went up unto [G1519] the [G3588] temple [G2413] to pray [G4336]; the [G3588] [one] [G1520] a Pharisee [G5330] ("Separate One" [H6504]), and [G2532] the [G3588] other [G2087] a tax collector [G5057].
11: The [G3588] Pharisee [G5330] ("Separate One" [H6504]) standing [G2476] to [G4314] himself [G1438] these [things] [G3778] prayed [G4336], the [G3588] God '[G2316], I give thanks [G2168] to you [G1473] that [G3754] I am not [G3756] as [G5618] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] men , predacious , unjust , adulterers [G3432], or [G2228] even [G2532] as [G5613] this [G3778] the [G3588] tax collector [G5057].
12: I fast [G3522] twice [G1364] the [G3588] a Sabbath [G4521], I tithe all [G3956] as much as [G3745] I acquire [G2932].
13: And [G2532] the [G3588] tax collector [G5057] far off [G3113] standing [G2476], wanted not [G3756][G2309] even [G3761] the [G3588] [his] eyes [G3788] unto [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] to lift up [G1869], but beat [G5180] onto [G1519] the [G3588] his breast [G4738][G1473], saying [G3004], the [G3588] God '[G2316], deal kindly [G2433] with me [G1473] the [G3588] sinner .
14: I say [G3004] to you [G1473], this one went down [G2597][G3778] justified [G1344] unto [G1519] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473], rather than [G2228][G1063] that one [G1565]. For [G3754] every [one [G3956] the [G3588] exalting [G5312] himself [G1438] will be humbled [G5013]; and the [G3588] [one] [G1161] humbling [G5013] himself [G1438] will be exalted [G5312].
15: And they brought [G4374][G1161] to him [G1473] also [G2532] the [G3588] babes [G1025], that [G2443] he [G1473] should touch [them ; but seeing [G1492][G1161], the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] reproached [G2008] them [G1473].
16: the [G3588] But [G1161] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), having called on [G4341] them [G1473], said [G2036], Allow the [G3588] children [G3813] to come [G2064] to [G4314] me [G1473], and [G2532] do not [G3361] restrain [G2967] them [G1473]! for of the [G3588][G1063] such [G5108] is the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
17: Amen I say [G3004] to you [G1473], Who [G3739] ever [G1437] should not [G3361] receive [G1209] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316] as [G5613] a child [G3813], in no way will he enter [G1525] into [G1519] it [G1473].
18: And [G2532] asked [G1905] a certain [G5100] him [G1473] ruler , saying [G3004], Teacher [G1320] ["Rabbi [G4461]" John 1:38] Good , what [G5100] having done [G4160] life [G2222] of the term (age) ' will I [do to] inherit [G2816]?
19: said [G2036] And [G1161] to him [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), Why [G5100] do you call me [G1473][G3004] good ? No one [G3762] [is] good except [G1508] one [G1520] the [G3588] God '[G2316].
20: The [G3588] commandments [G1785] you know [G1492], Do not [G3361] commit adultery [G3431], do not [G3361] murder [G5407], do not [G3361] steal [G2813], do not [G3361] give lying witness [G5576], esteem [G5091] the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] your mother [G3384][G1473]!
21: And the [G3588][G1161] he said [G2036], These [G3778] all [G3956] I kept [G5442] from [G1537] my youth [G3503][G1473].
22: And having heard [G1161] these [things] [G3778], the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036] to him [G1473], Still [G2089] one [thing] [G1520] to you [G1473] is missing [G3007]; all [G3956] as much as [G3745] you have [G2192], sell [G4453] and [G2532] distribute [G1239] to ones begging [G4434], and [G2532] you will have [G2192] treasure [G2344] in [G1722] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]; and [G2532] come [G1204] follow me [G1473]!
23: the [G3588] But [G1161] hearing these [things] [G3778], dejected [G4036] he became [G1096]; for he was [G1063] rich [G4145], exceedingly [G4970].
24: looking [at] [G1492] And [G1161] him [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) dejected [G4036] being [G1096], said [G2036], How [G4459] with difficulty [G1423] the [G3588] [ones] the [G3588] things [G5536] having [G2192] will enter [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
25: easier [G2123] For [G1063] it is for a camel [G2574] through [G1223] hole [G5168] from an awl [G4476] to enter [G1525], than [G2228] a rich [man [G4145] into [G1519] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316] to enter [G1525].
26: said [G2036] And [G1161] the [G3588] [ones] hearing , Then [G2532] who [G5100] is able [G1410] to be delivered [G4982]?
27: And the [G3588][G1161] he said [G2036], the [G3588] impossible by [G3844] men , are possible [G1415] with [G3844] the [G3588] God '[G2316].
28: said [G2036] And [G1161] the [G3588] Peter], look [G2400], we [G1473] left all [G3956], and [G2532] we followed you [G1473].
29: And the [G3588][G1161] he said [G2036] to them [G1473], Amen I say [G3004] to you [G1473] that [G3754] no one [G3762] there is who [G3739] left house [G3614], or [G2228] parents [G1118], or [G2228] brothers , or [G2228] wife [G1135], or [G2228] children [G5043], because of [G1752] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316],
30: who [G3739] in no way should recover much more [G4179] in [G1722] the [G3588] this time [G2540][G3778], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] age (term) ` the [G3588] coming [G2064] life [G2222] of the term (age) '.
31: And having taken to himself [G3880][G1161] the [G3588] twelve [G1427], he said [G2036] to [G4314] them [G1473], look [G2400], We go up unto [G1519] Jerusalem, and [G2532] will be finished [G5055] all [G3956] the [things] [G3588] being written [G1125] by [G1223] the [G3588] prophets [G4396] about the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man .
32: For he will be delivered [G3860][G1063] to the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], and [G2532] will be mocked [G1702], and [G2532] will be insulted [G5195], and [G2532] will be spit upon [G1716];
33: and [G2532] having been whipped [G3146], they will kill him [G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] third [G5154] he will rise up .
34: And [G2532] they [G1473] nothing [G3762] of these [things] [G3778] perceived [G4920]; for [G2532] was the [G3588] thing [G4487] this [G3778] being hidden [G2928] from them [G1473], and [G2532] they did not know [G3756][G1097] the [things] [G3588] being said [G3004].
35: And it came to pass [G1096][G1161] in [G1722] the [G3588] his approaching [G1448][G1473] unto [G1519] Jericho, a certain blind [man [G5185][G5100] sat [G2521] by [G3844] the [G3588] way [G3598] begging [G4319].
36: And hearing [G1161] crowd [G3793] traveling about [G1279], he inquired about [G4441] what [G5100] this may be [G3778].
37: And they reported [G1161] to him [G1473] that [G3754], Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) the [G3588] Nazarene is going by [G3928].
38: And [G2532] he yelled out , saying [G3004], Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), O son [G5207] of David, show compassion [G1653] on me [G1473]!
39: And [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] going before [G4254] reproached [G2008] him [G1473], that [G2443] he should keep silent [G4623]; but he [G1473][G1161] more [G4183] rather [G3123] cried out [G2896], O son [G5207] of David, show compassion [G1653] on me [G1473]!
40: And having stopped [G2476][G1161], the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) urged [G2753] for him [G1473] to be conveyed ' to [G4314] him [G1473]. having approached [G1448] And [G1161] at of him '[G1473], he asked [G1905] him [G1473],
41: saying [G3004], What [G5100] do you [G1473] want [G2309] I should do [G4160]? And the [G3588][G1161] he said [G2036], O Boss '[G2962], that [G2443] I should gain sight .
42: And [G2532] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036] to him [G1473], Gain sight ! the [G3588] trust '[G4102] of yours [G1473] has delivered [G4982] you [G1473].
43: And [G2532] immediately [G3916] he gained sight ; and [G2532] he followed him [G1473], glorifying [G1392] the [G3588] God '[G2316]. And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] having looked [at] [G1492], gave [G1325] praise the [G3588] to God '[G2316].
