Exodus Chapter 20 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] all [G3956] the [G3588] words [G3056] these [G3778], saying [G3004],
2: I [G1473] am Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], the one [G3748] leading [G1806] you [G1473] from [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt, from out of [G1537] house [G3624] of slavery [G1397].
3: There will not [G3756] be to you [G1473] gods '[G2316] other [G2087] besides [G4133] me [G1473].
4: You will not [G3756] make [G4160] to yourself [G4572] an idol [G1497], nor [G3761] any [G3956] representation [G3667], as much as [G3745] [is] in [G1722] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] upper ', nor [G2532] as much as [G3745] [is] in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] below [G2736], nor [G2532] as much as [G3745] [is] in [G1722] the [G3588] waters [G5204] underneath [G5270] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
5: You will not [G3756] do obeisance [G4352] to them [G1473], nor will you serve [G3000] to them [G1473]. Because I [G1473][G1063] am Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], a God '[G2316] jealous [G2207], rendering sins of fathers [G3962] upon [G1909] children [G5043] unto [G1909] third [G5154] and [G2532] fourth [G5067] generation [G1074] to the [ones] the [G3588] detesting [G3404] me [G1473];
6: and [G2532] having [G4160] compassion [G1656] to [G1519] thousands [G5505] of the [ones] the [G3588] loving me [G1473], and [G2532] the [ones] the [G3588] guarding [G5442] the [G3588] orders of me [G1473].
7: You will not [G3756] take [G2983] the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] in [G1909] vain [G3152]. No [G3756], because [G1063] not [G3361] will cleanse [G2511] Boss '[G2962] the [one] the [G3588] taking [G2983] the [G3588] name [G3686] of him [G1473] in [G1909] vain [G3152].
8: Remember [G3403] the [G3588] day [G2250] of the [G3588] Sabbaths [G4521] to sanctify it [G1473]!
9: Six [G1803] days [G2250] you will work [G2038], and [G2532] will do [G4160] all [G3956] the [G3588] works [G2041] of you [G1473];
10: but the [G3588][G1161] day [G2250] [of] the [G3588] seventh [G1442] [is a] Sabbath [G4521] to Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473]. You will not [G3756] do [G4160] on [G1722] it [G1473] any [G3956] work [G2041] of you [G1473], nor [G2532] the [G3588] son [G5207] of you [G1473], nor [G2532] the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of you [G1473], the [G3588] servant [G3816] of you [G1473] nor [G2532] the [G3588] maidservant [G3814] of you [G1473], the [G3588] ox [G1016] of you [G1473] nor [G2532] the [G3588] beast of burden [G5268] of you [G1473], nor [G2532] any [G3956] cattle [G2934] of you [G1473], nor [G2532] for the [G3588]eignor (convert) '[G4339] -- the [one] the [G3588] sojourning [G3939] among [G1722] you [G1473].
11: Because in [G1722][G1063] six [G1803] days [G2250] made [G4160] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] the [G3588] sea [G2281], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [things] [G3588] in [G1722] them [G1473]. And [G2532] he rested [G2664] on the [G3588] day [G2250] [of] the [G3588] seventh [G1442]. Because of [G1223] this [G3778] blessed [G2127] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] day [G2250] [of] the [G3588] seventh [G1442], and [G2532] sanctified it [G1473].
12: Esteem [G5091] the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] your mother [G3384][G1473]! that [G2443] good [G2095] should happen to you [G1473][G1096], and [G2532] that [G2443] a long time [G3118] you may be [G1096] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] the [G3588] good which [G3739] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] gives [G1325] to you [G1473].
13: You will not [G3756] murder [G5407].
14: You will not [G3756] commit adultery [G3431].
15: You will not [G3756] steal [G2813].
16: You will not [G3756] give lying witness [G5576] against [G2596] the [G3588] your neighbor [G4139][G1473] witness [G3141] [as a] lying [G5571].
17: You will not [G3756] covet [G1937] the [G3588] wife [G1135] of the [G3588] your neighbor [G4139][G1473]. You will not [G3756] covet [G1937] the [G3588] house [G3614] of the [G3588] your neighbor [G4139][G1473], nor [G3761] the [G3588] his field [G1473], nor [G3761] the [G3588] his manservant [G3816][G1473], nor [G3761] the [G3588] his maidservant [G3814][G1473], nor [G3777] the [G3588] his ox [G1016][G1473], nor [G3777] the [G3588] his beast of burden [G5268][G1473], nor [G3777] any [G3956] of his beasts [G2934][G1473], nor [G3777] as much [G3745] to the [G3588] your neighbor [G4139][G1473] is .
18: All [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] perceived [G3708] the [G3588] voice [G5456], and [G2532] the [G3588] lamps [G2985], and [G2532] the [G3588] sound [G5456] of the [G3588] trumpet [G4536], and [G2532] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] smoking . And fearing [G5399][G1161], all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] stood [G2476] afar off [G3113].
19: And [G2532] they said [G2036] to [G4314] Moses, You speak [G2980][G1473] to us [G1473], and [G2532] do not [G3361] let speak [G2980] to [G4314] us [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316]! lest [G3379] we might die .
20: And [G2532] says [G3004] to them [G1473] Moses], Be of courage [G2293]! because [G1752][G1063] the [G3588] to test [G3985] you [G1473] came [G3854] the [G3588] God '[G2316] to [G4314] you [G1473], so [G3704] that there might be [G1096] the [G3588] fear [G5401] of him [G1473] in [G1722] you [G1473], that [G2443] you should not sin [G3361]!
21: stood [G2476] And [G1161] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] afar off [G3113]. But Moses [G1161] entered [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] dimness [G1105] where [G3739] God was the [G3588][G2316].
22: said [G2036] And [G1161] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Moses, Thus [G3592] will you say [G2046] to the [G3588] house [G3624] of Jacob, and [G2532] announce to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, You [G1473] have seen [G3708] that [G3754] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] I have spoken [G2980] to [G4314] you [G1473].
23: You will not [G3756] make [G4160] to yourselves [G1438] gods '[G2316] of silver , and [G2532] gods '[G2316] of gold [G5552]; you will not [G3756] make [G4160] them to yourselves [G1473][G1473].
24: An altar [G2379] from out of [G1537] land '[G1093] you will make [G4160] to me [G1473], and [G2532] you will sacrifice [G2380] upon [G1909] it [G1473] the [G3588] your whole burnt-offerings [G3646][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your deliverance [offerings [G4992][G1473] -- the [G3588] sheep [G4263], and [G2532] the [G3588] your calves [G3448][G1473], in [G1722] every [G3956] place [G5117] of which [G3739] ever [G1437] I should name [G2028] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] there [G1563]. And [G2532] I will come [G2240] to [G4314] you [G1473], and [G2532] I will bless [G2127] you [G1473].
25: And if [G1437][G1161] an altar [G2379] of [G1537] stones [G3037] you should make [G4160] to me [G1473], you will not build [G3756][G3618] them [G1473] cut into shape ; for the [G3588][G1063] your knife [G1473] you have put [G1911] upon [G1909] them [G1473], and [G2532] they are defiled [G3392].
26: You will not [G3756] go up by [G1722] stairs unto [G1909] the [G3588] my altar [G2379][G1473], so [G3704] that you should not uncover [G3361] the [G3588] your indecency [G1473] upon [G1909] it [G1473].
