1: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588] BOSS to lead [G2962] the [G3588] Elijah in [G1722] a rumbling as [G5613] into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], that [G2532] went [G4198] Elijah and [G2532] Elisha] from out of [G1537] Gilgal.
2: And [G2532] Elijah said [G2036] to [G4314] Elisha, Sit down [G2521] indeed [G1211] here ! for [G3754] Boss '[G2962] has sent me [G1473] unto [G2193] Bethel. And [G2532] Elisha said [G2036], As BOSS lives [G2198][G2962], and [as [G2532] lives [G2198] the [G3588] your soul [G5590][G1473], will [G1487] I abandon [G1459] you, [no [G1473]. And [G2532] they came [G2064] unto [G1519] Bethel.
3: And [G2532] came [G1831] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] prophets [G4396] the [G3588] in [G1722] Bethel] to [G4314] Elisha, and [G2532] they said [G2036] to him [G1473], Do you [G1487] know [G1097] that [G3754] Boss '[G2962] today [G4594] takes [G2983] the [G3588] your boss [G2962][G1473] above the [G3588] your head [G2776][G1473]? And [G2532] he said [G2036], Indeed even [G2532][G1065] I [G1473] knew [G1097], keep silent [G4623]!
4: And [G2532] Elijah said [G2036] to [G4314] Elisha, Sit down [G2521] indeed [G1211] here ! for [G3754] Boss '[G2962] has sent me [G1473] to [G1519] Jericho. And [G2532] Elisha said [G2036], As BOSS lives [G2198][G2962], and [G2532] as lives [G2198] the [G3588] your soul [G5590][G1473], will [G1487] I abandon [G1459] you, [no [G1473]. And [G2532] they came [G2064] unto [G1519] Jericho.
5: And [G2532] approached [G1448] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] prophets [G4396] the [G3588] in [G1722] Jericho] to [G4314] Elisha, and [G2532] they said [G2036] to him [G1473], Do you [G1487] know [G1097] that [G3754] today [G4594] BOSS takes [G2983][G2962] the [G3588] your boss [G2962][G1473] from above the [G3588] your head [G2776][G1473]? And [G2532] he said [G2036], I [G1473] knew [G1097], keep silent [G4623]!
6: And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] Elijah], Sit down [G2521] indeed [G1211] here ! for [G3754] Boss '[G2962] has sent me [G1473] unto [G2193] the [G3588] Jordan. And [G2532] Elisha said [G2036], As BOSS lives [G2198][G2962], and [G2532] as lives [G2198] the [G3588] your soul [G5590][G1473], will [G1487] I abandon [G1459] you, [no [G1473]. And [G2532] they went [G4198] both .
7: And [G2532] fifty [G4004] men from the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] prophets [G4396] came [G2064], and [G2532] they stood [G2476] right opposite far off [G3113]. And both [G1161] stood [G2476] at [G1909] the [G3588] Jordan.
8: And [G2532] Elijah took [G2983] the [G3588] his sheepskin [G3374][G1473], and [G2532] wrapped it [G1473], and [G2532] struck [G3960] the [G3588] water [G5204], and [G2532] was divided [G1244] the [G3588] water [G5204] here and there , and [G2532] they passed over [G1224] both through [G1223] dry [ground [G3584].
9: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096], in [G1722] the [G3588]ir passing over [G1224][G1473], Elijah said [G2036] to the [G3588] Elisha, Ask ! what [G5100] I will do [G4160] for you [G1473] before [G4250][G2228] my being taken up [G1473] from you [G1473]. And [G2532] Elisha said [G2036], Let there be [G1096] indeed [G1211] a double [G1362][G1722] of your wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151][G1473] upon [G1909] me [G1473]!
10: And [G2532] Elijah said [G2036], You hardened [G4645] the [G3588] to ask . If [G1437] you should look [at] [G1492] me [G1473] being taken up from you [G1473], it will be thus to you [G1473][G3779]; but if [G1437][G1161] not [G3361], in no way will it be [G1096].
11: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] of their going [G1473][G4198] and [G2532] speaking [G2980], that [G2532] look [G2400], a chariot of fire [G4442], and [G2532] horses [G2462] of fire [G4442], and [G2532] they drew apart [G1291] between both ; and [G2532] Elijah was taken up in [G1722] a rumbling unto [G2193] into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772].
12: And [G2532] Elisha was staring [at him [G3708], and [G2532] he [G1473] yelled , O father [G3962], O father [G3962], chariot of Israel, and [G2532] his horseman [G2460][G1473]. And [G2532] he did not [G3756] see [G1492] him [G1473] any longer [G2089]. And [G2532] he took hold of [G1949] the [G3588] his garments [G2440][G1473] and [G2532] tore [G1284] them [G1473] into [G1519] two [G1417].
13: And [G2532] he raised up high [G5312] the [G3588] sheepskin [G3374] of Elijah which [G3739] fell [G4098] on top of him [G1473]. And [G2532] Elisha turned [G1994], and [G2532] stood [G2476] upon [G1909] the [G3588] edge [G5491] of the [G3588] Jordan.
14: And [G2532] he took [G2983] the [G3588] sheepskin [G3374] of Elijah, which [G3739] fell [G4098] on top of him [G1473], and [G2532] he struck [G3960] the [G3588] waters [G5204], and [G2532] said [G2036], Where [is [G4226] God '[G2316] of Elijah now ? And [G2532] he struck [G3960] the [G3588] waters [G5204], and [G2532] they tore apart [G1284] here and there ; and [G2532] Elisha passed over [G1224].
15: And [G2532] looked [at] [G1492] him [G1473] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] prophets [G4396], the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] Jericho right opposite . And [G2532] they said [G2036], rests [G1879] the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of Elijah] upon [G1909] Elisha. And [G2532] they came [G2064] to [G1519] meet with [G4877] him [G1473], and [G2532] they did obeisance [G4352] to him [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
16: And [G2532] they said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473], look [G2400] indeed [G1211], there are with [G3326] the [G3588] your servants [G3816][G1473] fifty [G4004] men , sons [G5207] of power [G1411]. In going [G4198] indeed [G1211], let them seek [G2212] the [G3588] your boss [G2962][G1473]! lest at some time [G3379] lifted him [G1473] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] [of the] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] tossed [G4495] him [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735], or [G2228] upon [G1909] one [G1520] of the [G3588] hills [G1015]. And [G2532] Elisha said [G2036], You will not send [G3756].
17: And [G2532] they pressed [G3849] him [G1473] until [G2193] he was shamed . And [G2532] he said [G2036], Send them ! And [G2532] they sent fifty [G4004] men ; and [G2532] they sought [G2212] three [G5140] days [G2250], and [G2532] they did not [G3756] find [G2147] him [G1473].
18: And [G2532] they returned to [G4314] him [G1473]. And [G2532] he [G1473] stayed [G2521] in [G1722] Jericho. And [G2532] he said to them [G2036][G1473], Did I not [G3756] say [G2036] to you [G1473], Do not go [G3361][G4198]?
19: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] men of the [G3588] city [G4172] to [G4314] Elisha, Look now [G2400][G1211], the [G3588] site [G2731] of the [G3588] city [G4172] [is] good , as [G2531] you [G1473], O boss [G2962], see [G3708]; but [G2532] the [G3588] waters [G5204] [are] bad [G4190], and [G2532] the [G3588] land '[G1093] being barren .
20: And [G2532] Elisha said [G2036], Bring [G2983] to me [G1473] water-pot a new [G2537], and [G2532] cast [G1685] salt there [G1563]! And [G2532] they took [it [G2983] to him [G1473].
21: And [G2532] he went forth [G1831] unto [G1909] the [G3588] outlet [G1327] of the [G3588] waters [G5204], and [G2532] he tossed [G4495] there [G1563] the [G3588] salt . And [G2532] he said [G2036], Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], I have healed [G2390] the [G3588]se waters [G5204][G3778], there will not be [G3756] any longer [G2089] there [G1564] death [G2288] and [G2532] being barren .
22: And [G2532] were healed [G2390] the [G3588] waters [G5204] until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778], according to [G2596] the [G3588] word [G4487] of Elisha which [G3739] he spoke [G2980].
23: And [G2532] he went up from there [G1564] unto [G1519] Bethel. And [G2532] in his going up [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] way [G3598], that [G2532] boys [G3808] small [G3397] came forth [G1831] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] city [G4172], and [G2532] they mocked him [G1473], and [G2532] said [G3004] to him [G1473], go up , bald one ! go up , bald one !
24: And [G2532] he turned [G1593] behind [G3694] him [G1473], and [G2532] looked [at] [G1492] them [G1473], and [G2532] cursed [G2672] them [G1473] in [G1722] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] came forth [G1831] two [G1417] bears from out of [G1537] for the [G3588]est , and [G2532] they tore asunder off them [G1473] forty [G5062] and [G2532] two [G1417] children [G3816].
25: And [G2532] he went [G4198] from there [G1564] to [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] the [G3588] Carmel, and [G2532] from there [G1564] he turned [G1994] unto [G1519] Samaria.
