1: What [G5100] then [G3767] will we say [G2046] Abraham the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473] has found [G2147] according to [G2596] flesh [G4561]?
2: For if [G1487][G1063] Abraham of [G1537] works [G2041] was justified [G1344], he has [G2192] boasting [G2745], but not [G3756] towards [G4314] the [G3588] God '[G2316].
3: For what [G5100][G1063] [does] the [G3588] scripture [G1124] say [G3004]? trusted '[G4100] But [G1161] Abraham the [G3588] in God '[G2316], and [G2532] it was imputed [G3049] to him [G1473] for [G1519] righteousness [G1343].
4: And to the [G3588] [one] [G1161] working [G2038], the [G3588] wage [G3408] [is] not [G3756] considered [G3049] according to [G2596] favor [G5484], but according to [G2596] the [G3588] debt [G3783].
5: But to the [G3588] [one] [G1161] not [G3361] working [G2038], but trusts '[G1161] upon [G1909] the [G3588] [one] justifying [G1344] the [G3588] impious , is imputed [G3049] the [G3588] his trust '[G4102][G1473] for [G1519] righteousness [G1343].
6: Just as [G2509] also [G2532] David says [G3004] [about] the [G3588] blessing [G3108] of the [G3588] man to whom [G3739] the [G3588] God '[G2316] imputes [G3049] righteousness [G1343] separate from [G5565] works [G2041].
7: Blessed [G3107] whom [G3739] were forgiven the [G3588] lawless [deeds , and [G2532] whom [G3739] were covered over [G1943] the [G3588] sins .
8: Blessed [is [G3107] a man in whom [G3739] in no way Lord should impute [G3049][G2962] sin .
9: the [G3588] blessing [G3108] then [G3767] Is this [G3778] upon [G1909] the [G3588] circumcision [G4061] or [G2228] also [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] uncircumcision ? For we say [G3004][G1063] that [G3754] was imputed [G3049] [to the [G3588] Abraham the [G3588] trust '[G4102] for [G1519] righteousness [G1343].
10: How [G4459] then [G3767] was it imputed [G3049]? in [G1722] circumcision [G4061] being , or [G2228] in [G1722] uncircumcision ? Not [G3756] in [G1722] circumcision [G4061], but in [G1722] uncircumcision .
11: And [G2532] sign [G4592] he received [G2983] of circumcision [G4061] as seal [G4973] of the [G3588] righteousness [G1343] of the [G3588] trust '[G4102] of the one in the [G3588][G1722] the [G3588] uncircumcision , for [G1519] the [G3588] him to be [G1473] father [G3962] of all [G3956] of the [G3588] [ones] trusting '[G4100] through [G1223] uncircumcision , for [G1519] the [G3588] to be imputed [G3049] also [G2532] to them [G1473] the [G3588] righteousness [G1343];
12: and [G2532] father [G3962] of circumcision [G4061] to the [G3588] [ones] not [G3756] of [G1537] circumcision [G4061] only [G3440], but also [G2532] to the [G3588] [ones] conforming [G4748] to the [G3588] tracks [G2487] of the [G3588] trust '[G4102] to the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] the [G3588] uncircumcision of the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473] Abraham.
13: For not [G3756][G1063] through [G1223] law [G3551] [was] the [G3588] promise [G1860] [to the [G3588] Abraham or [G2228] [to the [G3588] his seed [G4690][G1473], the [G3588] heir [G2818] for him [G1473] to be of the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889], but through [G1223] righteousness [G1343] of trust '[G4102].
14: For if [G1487][G1063] the [G3588] [ones] from [G1537] law [G3551] [be] heirs [G2818], is empty [G2758] the [G3588] trust '[G4102], and [G2532] ceases to work [G2673] the [G3588] promise [G1860].
15: For the [G3588][G1063] law [G3551] wrath [G3709] manufactures [G2716]; for where [G3739][G1063] there is no [G3756] law [G3551], not even [G3761] [is there] a violation [G3847].
16: On account of [G1223] this [G3778] [it is] of [G1537] trust '[G4102], that [G2443] according to [G2596] favor [G5484], for [G1519] the [G3588] to be firm the [G3588] promise [G1860] to all [G3956] the [G3588] seed [G4690], not [G3756] to the [G3588] [one] of [G1537] the [G3588] law [G3551] only [G3440], but also [G2532] to the [G3588] [one] of [G1537] trust '[G4102] of Abraham, who [G3739] is father [G3962] of all [G3956] of us [G1473],
17: (as [G2531] it has been written [G1125], that [G3754], father [G3962] of many [G4183] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] I have established [G5087] you], [G1473]) in front of [G2713] which [G3739] he trusted '[G4100] God '[G2316], of the [G3588] [one] restoring to life [G2227] the [G3588] dead [G3498], and [G2532] calling [G2564] the [G3588] [ones] not [G3361] being , as [G5613] being ;
18: who [G3739] against [G3844] hope [G1680] upon [G1909] hope [G1680] trusted '[G4100], for [G1519] the [G3588] him to become [G1096][G1473] father [G3962] of many [G4183] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484]; according to [G2596] the [thing] [G3588] being said [G2046], So [G3779] will be the [G3588] your seed [G4690][G1473].
19: And [G2532] not [G3361] being weak in the [G3588] trust '[G4102], he did not [G3756] contemplate [G2657] the [G3588] his own [G1438] body [G4983] already [G2235] deadened [G3499], a hundred years old [G1541] somewhere [about [G4225] being [G5224], and [G2532] the [G3588] deadening [G3500] of the [G3588] womb [G3388] of Sarah.
20: And at [G1519][G1161] the [G3588] promise [G1860] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] he did not [G3756] examine [G1252] the [G3588] by unbelief , but was empowered [G1743] in the [G3588] trust '[G4102], giving [G1325] glory [G1391] [to the [G3588] God '[G2316],

25: who [G3739] was delivered up [G3860] on account of [G1223] the [G3588] our transgressions [G3900][G1473], and [G2532] was raised [G1453] on account of [G1223] the [G3588] our justification [G1347][G1473].
