Ephesians Chapter 4 - | Early Church Bible

1: I appeal [G3870] then [G3767] [to] you [G1473], I [G1473] the [G3588] prisoner [G1198] in [G1722] Boss '[G2962], worthily to walk [G4043] of the [G3588] calling [G2821] of which [G3739] you were called [G2564],
2: with [G3326] all [G3956] humility [G5012] and [G2532] cooperativeness [G4236], with [G3326] leniency [G3115], enduring one another in [G1722] love ;
3: hurrying [G4704] to keep [G5083] the [G3588] unity [G1775] of the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] in [G1722] the [G3588] bonding together [G4886] of the [G3588] peace [G1515].
4: One [G1520] body [G4983], and [G2532] one [G1520] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151], as [G2531] also [G2532] you were called [G2564] in [G1722] one [G1520] hope [G1680] of the [G3588] your calling [G2821][G1473].
5: One [G1520] Boss '[G2962], one [G1520] trust '[G4102], one [G1520] submergence ;
6: one [G1520] God '[G2316] and [G2532] father [G3962] of all [G3956], the [G3588] [one] over [G1909] all [G3956], and [G2532] through [G1223] all [G3956], and [G2532] in [G1722] you all [G3956][G1473].
7: one [G1520] And [G1161] in each [G1538] of us [G1473] was given [G1325] the [G3588] favor [G5484] according to [G2596] the [G3588] measure [G3358] of the [G3588] gift [G1431] of the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547].
8: Therefore [G1352] he says [G3004], Having went up into [G1519] height [G5311] he captured captivity , and [G2532] he gave [G1325] gifts [G1390] the [G3588] to men .
9: And the [G3588] [one] [G1161] that went up , what [G5100] is it unless [G1508] that [G3754] also [G2532] he came down [G2597] first [G4412] unto [G1519] the [G3588] lower [G2737] parts [G3313] of the [G3588] land '[G1093]?
10: the [one] [G3588] having come down [G2597], he [G1473] is also [G2532] the [G3588] [one] having went up up above [G5231] all [G3956] the [G3588] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772], that [G2443] he should fulfill [G4137] all [things] the [G3588][G3956].
11: And [G2532] he [G1473] gave [G1325] some indeed for the [G3588][G3303] sent ones (apostles) ', the [G3588] and some [G1161] prophets [G4396], the [G3588] and some [G1161] good-word-conveyers (good-messengers, evangelists) '[G2099]; the [G3588] but some [G1161] shepherds [G4166] and [G2532] teachers [G1320],
12: for [G4314] the [G3588] readying [G2677] of the [G3588] [ones] pure ' for [G1519] a work [G2041] of service [G1248], for [G1519] edification [G3619] of the [G3588] body [G4983] of the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547];
13: until [G3360] we should arrive [G2658] the [G3588] all [G3956] in [G1519] the [G3588] unity [G1775] of the [G3588] trust '[G4102], and [G2532] of the [G3588] full knowledge [G1922] of the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], in [G1519] man a perfect [G5046], in [G1519] measure [G3358] of stature [G2244] of the [G3588] fullness [G4138] of the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547];
14: that [G2443] no longer [G3371] should we be infants [G3516], being swelled [G2831] and [G2532] carried round about [G4064] by every [G3956] wind of the [G3588] instruction [G1319], in [G1722] the [G3588] cunning [G2940] of the [G3588] men , in [G1722] cleverness [G3834] to [G4314] the [G3588] craft [G3180] of the [G3588] delusion [G4106].
15: But being truthful [G1161] in [G1722] love , we should grow in [G1519] him [G1473] [in] all [things] the [G3588][G3956], which [G3739] is the [G3588] head [G2776] -- the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547];
16: from [G1537] whom [G3739] all [G3956] the [G3588] body [G4983] being fitted together [G4883], and [G2532] being instructed [G4822] by [G1223] every [G3956] ligament of the [G3588] supply [G2024], according to [G2596] energy [G1753] in [G1722] measure [G3358] one [G1520] of each [G1538] part [G3313], the [G3588] growth of the [G3588] body [G4983] to produce for itself [G4160] to [G1519] construction [G3619] of itself [G1438] in [G1722] love .
17: This [G3778] then [G3767] I say [G3004] and [G2532] testify [G3143] in [G1722] Boss '[G2962], for you to no longer [G3371][G1473] walk [G4043] as [G2531] also [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] walk [G4043], in [G1722] folly [G3153] of the [G3588]ir mind [G3563][G1473],
18: being darkened [G4654] in the [G3588] mind [G1271], being separated from the [G3588] life [G2222] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], through [G1223] the [G3588] ignorance the [G3588] being in [G1722] them [G1473], through [G1223] the [G3588] callousness [G4457] of the [G3588]ir heart [G2588][G1473];
19: ones who [G3748] being numbed , delivered themselves up [G1438][G3860] to the [G3588] lewdness , for [G1519] a work [G2039] of all uncleanness [G3956] in [G1722] a desire for wealth [G4124].
20: But you [G1473][G1161] not [G3756] thus [G3779] learned [G3129] the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547],
21: if indeed [G1489] you heard him [G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] him [G1473] were taught [G1321], as [G2531] truth is in [G1722] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]);
22: for you to put aside [G1473] according to [G2596] for the [G3588]mer [G4387] behavior , the [G3588] old [G3820] man , the [G3588] [one] being corrupt [G5351] according to [G2596] the [G3588] desires [G1939] of the [G3588] deception ;
23: and to be renewed [G1161] in the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of the [G3588] your mind [G3563][G1473];
24: and [G2532] to put on [G1746] the [G3588] new [G2537] man , the [G3588] [one] according to [G2596] God '[G2316] being created [G2936] in [G1722] righteousness [G1343] and [G2532] sacredness [G3742] of the [G3588] truth .
25: Therefore [G1352] having put aside the [G3588] lie [G5579], let speak [G2980] truth each [G1538] with [G3326] the [G3588] neighbor [G4139] of him [G1473]! for [G3754] we are of one another members [G3196].
26: Be angry [G3710] and [G2532] do not [G3361] sin ! the [G3588] sun [G2246] Do not [G3361] let] set [G1931] upon [G1909] the [G3588] provocation to your anger [G3950][G1473]!
27: nor [G3366] give [G1325] place [G5117] to the [G3588] devil [G1228]!
28: the [one] [G3588] stealing [G2813] no longer [G3371] let him steal [G2813]! but rather [G3123][G1161] let him tire [G2872] working [G2038] [what is the [G3588] good with the [G3588] hands [G5495]! that [G2443] he should have [G2192] [something] to share [G3330] with the [G3588] [one] need [G5532] having [G2192].
29: Every [G3956] word [G3056] rotten [G4550] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] your mouth [G4750][G1473], let it not [G3361] go forth [G1607]! but if any [G1536] good [word for [G4314] edification [G3619] for the [G3588] need [G5532], [let it go forth] so that [G2443] it should give [G1325] favor [G5484] to the [G3588] [ones] hearing .
30: And [G2532] do not [G3361] fret [G3076] the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] the [G3588] [one] pure ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316], in [G1722] which [G3739] you were sealed [G4972] for [G1519] day [G2250] of release by ransom !
31: All [G3956] bitterness [G4088], and [G2532] rage [G2372], and [G2532] anger [G3709], and [G2532] roaring [G2906], and [G2532] blasphemy take away from you [G1473] with [G4862] all [G3956] evil [G2549]!
32: And be [G1096][G1161] to [G1519] one another gracious [G5543], compassionate [G2155], granting [G5483] to each other [G1438], as [G2531] also [G2532] the [G3588] God '[G2316] granted [G5483] to us [G1473] in [G1722] Anointed "'[G5547]!
