1: And [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] eighteenth year [G2094] of reigning of Jeroboam son [G5207] of Nebat, reigned Abijam son [G5207] of Rehoboam] over [G1909] Judah.
2: And [G2532] three [G5140] years [G2094] he reigned in [G1909] Jerusalem, and [G2532] name [G3686] of the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473] [was] Maachah daughter [G2364] of Abishalom.
3: And [G2532] he went [G4198] in [G1722] the [G3588] sins of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473] which [G3739] he did [G4160] before [G1715] him [G1473]. And [G2532] was not [G3756] the [G3588] his heart [G2588][G1473] perfect [G5046] with [G3326] Boss '[G2962] his God '[G2316][G1473], as [G2531] the [G3588] heart [G2588] of David the [G3588] his [grand] father [G3962][G1473].
4: But [G3754] on account of [G1223] David gave [G1325] to him [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] his God '[G2316][G1473] a vestige [G2640] in [G1722] Jerusalem, that [G2443] he should establish [G2476] the [G3588] his children [G5043][G1473] after [G3326] him [G1473], and [G2532] establish [G2476] the [G3588] Jerusalem,
5: as [G5613] David did [G4160] the [G3588] upright [thing] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] did not [G3756] turn aside [G1578] from all [G3956] which [G3739] he gave charge [G1781] to him [G1473], all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] his life [G2222][G1473],
6: except [G1623] in [G1722] matter [G4487] of Uriah the [G3588] Hittite. And [G2532] war [G4171] was between [G3342] Rehoboam and [G2532] between [G3342] Jeroboam all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] his life [G2222][G1473].
7: And [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] words [G3056] of Abijam and [G2532] all [G3956] the things which [G3745] he did [G4160], not [G3756] look [G2400] these [G3778] are] written [G1125] upon [G1909] scroll of words [G3056] of the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] kings of Judah? And [G2532] there was war [G4171] between Abijam and [G2532] between Jeroboam.
8: And [G2532] Abijam slept [G2837] with [G3326] the [G3588] his fathers [G3962][G1473]. And [G2532] they entombed [him [G2290] in [G1722] city [G4172] of David. And [G2532] reigned Asa son [G5207] of him [G1473] instead of him [G1473].
9: In [G1722] the [G3588] year [G1763] the [G3588] twentieth the [G3588] of Jeroboam king of the [G3588] Israel, Asa reigned over [G1909] Judah.
10: And [G2532] forty [G5062] and [G2532] one [G1520] year [G2094] he reigned in [G1722] Jerusalem. And [G2532] name [G3686] of the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473] [was] Maachah daughter [G2364] of Abishalom.
11: And [G2532] Asa did [G4160] the [G3588] upright [thing] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962] as [G5613] David the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473].
12: And [G2532] he removed the [G3588] mystic rites from the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] sent out [G1821] all [G3956] the [G3588] practices which [G3739] did [G4160] the [G3588] his fathers [G3962][G1473].
13: And [G2532] the [G3588] Maachah the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473] he removed [G3179] the [G3588] so as to not [G3361] be ruling [G2233], as [G2531] she observed [G4160] a convocation in [G1722] the [G3588] her sacred grove [G1473]. And [G2532] Asa cut off [G1581] the [G3588] her retreats [G1473], and [G2532] he burnt [them [G1714] in [G1722] fire [G4442] at [G1722] the [G3588] rushing stream [G5493] Kidron [G2748].
14: But the [G3588][G1161] high [places [G5308] he removed not [G3756][G1808]. Except [G4133] the [G3588] heart [G2588] of Asa was perfect [G5046] with [G3326] Boss '[G2962] all [G3956] the [G3588] his days [G2250][G1473].
15: And [G2532] Asa carried [G1533] into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] monumental pillars of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] monumental pillars of the [G3588] silver and [G2532] of gold [G5552], and [G2532] he carried [G1533] into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962] silver and [G2532] gold [G5553] and [G2532] vessels [G4632].
16: And [G2532] there was war [G4171] between Asa and [G2532] between Baasha king of Israel all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250] of them [G1473].
17: And [G2532] went up Baasha king of Israel] against [G1909] Judah, and [G2532] he built [G3618] the [G3588] Ramah, [so as the [G3588] not [G3361] to be going forth [G1607] and [G2532] entering [G1531] [to the [G3588] Asa king of Judah.
18: And [G2532] Asa took [G2983] all the [G3588] silver and [G2532] the [G3588] gold [G5553] the [G3588] being found [G2147] in [G1722] the [G3588] treasuries [G2344] of house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] treasuries [G2344] of the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] king ; and [G2532] he put [G1325] them [G1473] into [G1519] hands [G5495] of the [G3588] his servants [G3816][G1473]. And [G2532] sent [G1821] them [G1473] the [G3588] king Asa] to [G4314] son [G5207] of Hadad, son [G5207] of Tabrimon, son [G5207] of Hezion, king of Syria, the [G3588] [one] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] Damascus, saying [G3004],
19: A covenant [G1242] between me [G1473] and [G2532] between you [G1473], and [G2532] between the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473]! look [G2400], I have sent [G1821] to you [G1473] gifts [G1435] of silver and [G2532] of gold [G5553], come [G1204] efface the [G3588] your covenant [G1242][G1473] the [G3588] with [G4314] Baasha king of Israel! and [G2532] he will go up from me [G1473].
20: And [G2532] hearkened son [G5207] of Hadad the [G3588] [to] king Asa, and [G2532] he sent the [G3588] rulers of the [G3588] his force [G1411][G1473] in [G1722] to the [G3588] cities [G4172] of the [G3588] Israel. And [G2532] he struck [G3960] the [G3588] Ijon, and [G2532] the [G3588] Dan, and [G2532] the [G3588] Abel of house [G3624] of Maachah, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] Cinneroth, unto [G2193] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Naphtali.
21: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] when [G5613] Baasha heard , that [G2532] he stopped [G1257] the [G3588] building [G3618] of the [G3588] Ramah, and [G2532] he returned unto [G1519] Tizrah.
22: And [G2532] the [G3588] king Asa exhorted [G3853] all [G3956] Judah with [G1519] no exceptions. And [G2532] they lifted the [G3588] stones [G3037] of the [G3588] Ramah, and [G2532] the [G3588] its timbers [G3586][G1473], which [G3739] Baasha constructed [G3618]. And [G2532] built [G3618] with [G1722] them [G1473] Asa the [G3588] king the [G3588] hill [G1015] of Benjamin, and [G2532] the [G3588] height .
23: And [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] words [G3056] of Asa, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] his dominion [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] which [G3739] he did [G4160], and [G2532] the [G3588] cities [G4172] which [G3739] he built [G3618], not [G3756] look [G2400] these [G3778] written [G1125] are upon [G1909] a scroll of words [G3056] of the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] kings of Judah? Only [G4133] in [G1722] the [G3588] time [G2540] of the [G3588] his old age [G1094][G1473] caused pain the [G3588] his feet [G4228][G1473].
24: And [G2532] Asa slept [G2837] with [G3326] the [G3588] his fathers [G3962][G1473]. And [G2532] they entombed [him [G2290] with [G3326] the [G3588] his fathers [G3962][G1473] in [G1722] city [G4172] of David the [G3588] his [fore] father [G3962][G1473]. And [G2532] reigned Jehoshaphat son [G5207] of him [G1473] instead of him [G1473].
25: And [G2532] Nadab son [G5207] of Jeroboam reigned over [G1909] Israel in [G1722] year [G2094] second [G1208] the [G3588] of Asa king of Judah. And [G2532] he reigned over [G1909] the [G3588] Israel two [G1417] years [G2094].
26: And [G2532] he acted [G4160] the [G3588] wickedly [G4190] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] he went [G4198] in [G1722] way [G3598] of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] his sins [G1473] in [G1722] [the things] which [G3739] led Israel into sin the [G3588].
27: And [G2532] besieged against [G1909] 10> him [G1473] Baasha son [G5207] of Ahijah over [G1909] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Issachar], and [G2532] he struck [G3960] him [G1473] in [G1722] Gibbethon, the [city the [G3588] of the [G3588] Philistines ; for [G2532] Nadab and [G2532] all [G3956] Israel were besieging at [G1909] Gibbethon.
28: And [G2532] put him to death [G2289][G1473] Baasha] in [G1722] year [G2094] third [G5154] the [G3588] of Asa king of Judah. And [G2532] he reigned instead of him [G1473].
29: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] he reigned , he struck [G3960] entire [G3650] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Jeroboam; and [G2532] he left not [G3756][G5275] any [G3956] [that] breathed [G4157] of the [G3588] Jeroboam, until [G2193] the [G3588] utterly destroying [G1842] him [G1473], (according to [G2596] the [G3588] saying [G4487] of Boss '[G2962], which [G3739] he spoke [G2980] by [G1722] hand [G5495] of his servant [G1401] Ahijah the [G3588] Shilonite,)
30: for [G4012] the [G3588] sins of Jeroboam, which [G3739] he led Israel into sin the [G3588], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] his provoking to anger [G3950][G1473] in [G1722] which [G3739] he provoked to anger [G3949] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] God '[G2316] of the [G3588] Israel.
31: And [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] words [G3056] of Nadab, and [G2532] all [G3956] the things which [G3745] he did [G4160], not [G3756] look [G2400] these [G3778] written [G1125] are in [G1722] a scroll of words [G3056] of the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] kings of Israel?
32: And [G2532] war [G4171] was between Asa and [G2532] between Baasha king of Israel all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250] of them [G1473].
33: In [G1722] the [G3588] year [G2094] the [G3588] third [G5154] the [G3588] of Asa king of Judah, reigned Baasha son [G5207] of Ahijah] over [G1909] Israel in [G1722] Tizrah twenty [G1501] and [G2532] four [G5064] years [G2094].
34: And [G2532] he did [G4160] the [G3588] wicked [thing] [G4190] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] he went [G4198] in [G1722] way [G3598] of Jeroboam son [G5207] of Nebat, and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] his sins [G1473] in which [G3739] he led Israel into sin the [G3588].
