3: For [G3754] Israel threw away good [things] ; an enemy [G2190] they pursued [G2614].
4: For themselves [G1438] they made [one] to reign , and [G2532] not [G3756] through [G1223] me [G1473]. They ruled , and [G2532] they did not [G3756] make it known [G1107] to me [G1473]. the [G3588] [With] their silver [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir gold [G5553][G1473] they made [G4160] to themselves [G1438] idols [G1497], so that [G3704] they should be utterly destroyed [G1842].
5: Cast off the [G3588] your calf [G3448][G1473], O Samaria! is provoked [G3947] the [G3588] My rage [G2372][G1473] against [G1909] them [G1473]. For how long [G2193][G5100] will they in no way be able [G1410] to cleanse [themselves [G2511] in [G1722] the [G3588] Israel?

8: Israel was swallowed down [G2666]; now [G3568] it became [G1096] among [G1722] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] as [G5613] item [G4632] a useless .
9: For [G3754] they [G1473] went up unto [G1519] Assyria; flourished again according to [G2596] himself [G1438] Ephraim]; bribes [G1435] he loved .
10: On account of [G1223] this [G3778] they will be delivered up [G3860] among [G1722] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484]; now [G3568] I will take [G1523] them [G1473], and [G2532] they will abate [G2869] a little [G3397] the [G3588] to anoint [G5548] a king and [G2532] rulers .
