1: And [G2532] turning [G1994] we departed into [G1519] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] by way [G3598] sea [G2281] [of the] red [G2063], in which [G3739] manner [G5158] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473]. And [G2532] we encircled [G2944] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] the [G3588] Seir days [G2250] many [G4183].
2: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473],
3: is enough [G2427] Your [G1473] encircling [G2944] the [G3588] this raised-place (mountain) '[G3735][G3778]; turn [G1994] then [G3767] towards [G1909] north [G1005]!
4: And [G2532] to the [G3588] people [G2992] you give charge [G1781], saying [G3004], You [G1473] go [G3899] through [G1223] the [G3588] borders [G3725] of the [G3588] your brothers [G1473], sons [G5207] of Esau, the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] Seir! And [G2532] they will fear [G5399] you [G1473], and [G2532] will be cautious [G2125] of you [G1473] exceedingly [G4970].
5: You will not [G3361] join against [G4314] them [G1473] [for] war [G4171], for not [G3756][G1063] in any way [G3361] will I give [G1325] to you [G1473] off the [G3588]ir land '[G1093][G1473], nor [G3761] a stool [for your] foot [G4228]; for [G3754] by [G1722] lot [G2819] I have given [G1325] [to the [G3588] Esau the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] the [G3588] Seir.
6: With silver foods [G1033] buy from [G3844] them [G1473] and [G2532] eat [G2068], and [G2532] water [G5204] measured out [G3358] you will receive [G2983] from [G3844] them [G1473] by silver , and [G2532] you will drink [G4095].
7: for the [G3588] [G1063] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] blessed [G2127] you [G1473] in [G1722] every [G3956] work [G2041] of the [G3588] hands [G5495] of you [G1473]. Determine [G1231] how [G4459] you went through [G1330] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] the [G3588] great [G3173] and [G2532] dreadful [G5398] that [G1565]! look [G2400], forty [G5062] years [G2094] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] [was] with [G3326] you [G1473]; you did not [G3756] want of a thing [G4487].
8: And [G2532] we went by [G3928] the [G3588] our brothers [G1473] sons [G5207] of Esau, the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] Seir, by [G3844] the [G3588] way [G3598] [of] the [G3588] wilderness from Aelon, and [G2532] from Ezion Gaber; and [G2532] turning [G1994] we went by [G3928] way [G3598] of wilderness [G2048] of Moab.
9: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], Do not [G3361] hate the [G3588] Moabites, and [G2532] do not [G3361] join together against [G4314] them [G1473] in war [G4171]! for in no way [G3756][G1063][G3361] will I give [G1325] to you [G1473] off the [G3588]ir land '[G1093][G1473]. by [G1722] lot [G2819] for the [G3588] [G1063] to sons [G5207] of Lot I have given [G1325] the [G3588] Aroer] to inherit [G2816].
10: The [G3588] Emim prior [G4387] laid in wait upon [G1909] it [G1473], tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] a great [G3173] and [G2532] populous [G4183], and [G2532] strong [G2478], as [G5618] the [G3588] Anakim.
11: of the Raphaim will be considered [G3049] And [G2532] these [G3778] as [G5618] also [G2532] the [G3588] Anakim; and [G2532] the [G3588] Moabites named [G2028] them [G1473] Emim.
12: And [G2532] in [G1722] Seir laid in wait the [G3588] Horite] for the [G3588]mer one [G4387]; and [G2532] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Esau destroyed them [G1473], and [G2532] obliterated them [G1473] from their face [G4383][G1473]; and [G2532] they settled in place of them [G1473] in which [G3739] manner [G5158] Israel did [G4160] [to] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of the [G3588] his inheritance [G2817][G1473], which [G3739] BOSS gave [G1325][G2962] to them [G1473].
13: Now [G3568] then [G3767], [I said], Rise up , and [G2532] depart [G1473], and [G2532] come near [G3899] the [G3588] ravine [G5327] of Zared! And [G2532] we went by [G3928] the [G3588] ravine [G5327] of Zared.
14: And [G2532] the [G3588] days [G2250] which [G3739] we passed [G3899] from Kadesh Barnea until [G2193] of which [time] [G3739] we went by [G3928] the [G3588] ravine [G5327] of Zared [was] thirty [G5144] eight [G3638] years [G2094], until [G2193] of which [time] [G3739] perished all [G3956] the [G3588] generation [G1074] of men of war , dying from the [G3588] camp [G3925], as [G2530] swore by an oath [G3660] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] to them [G1473].
15: And [G2532] the [G3588] hand [G5495] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] was upon [G1909] them [G1473], to completely consume them [G1473] from out of [G1537] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] camp [G3925], until [G2193][G3739] they perished .
16: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096], as soon as [G1894] fell [G4098] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] dying , men warriors , from out of [G1537] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] people [G2992],
17: that [G2532] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], saying [G3004],
18: You [G1473] will pass over [G3899] today [G4594] the [G3588] borders [G3725] of Moab -- the [G3588] Aroer.
19: And [G2532] you will lead [G4317] near [G1451] sons [G5207] of Ammon. Do not [G3361] hate them [G1473], nor [G3366] join against them [G1473] in [G1519] war [G4171]! [G3756] for [G1063] I will not [G3361] give [G1325] from the [G3588] land '[G1093] of sons [G5207] of Ammon to you [G1473] by [G1722] lot [G2819], for [G3754] to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Lot I have given [G1325] it [G1473] by [G1722] lot [G2819].
20: land '[G1093] of Raphaim It will be considered [G3049], for even [G2532][G1063] upon [G1909] it [G1473] dwelt [G2730] the [G3588] Raphaim for the [G3588]merly [G4387]. And [G2532] the [G3588] Ammonites named [G2028] them [G1473] Zummim,
21: tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] a great [G3173] and [G2532] populous [G4183], and [G2532] mightier [G1415] than you [G1473], as [G5618] also [G2532] the [G3588] Anakim; and [G2532] destroyed them [G1473] Boss '[G2962] before their face [G4383][G1473], and [G2532] they inherited them [G1473]; and [G2532] they were settled there in place of them [G1473] until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778],
22: even as [G5618] they did [inherit [G4160] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Esau, the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] Seir, in which [G3739] manner [G5158] he obliterated the [G3588] Horite from their face [G4383][G1473]; and [G2532] they inherited them [G1473], and [G2532] they were settled in place of them [G1473] until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778].
23: And [G2532] the [G3588] Hivites the [G3588] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] Aseroth unto [G2193] Gaza, and [G2532] the [G3588] Cappadocians the [G3588] coming forth [G1831] from out of [G1537] Cappadocia, obliterated them [G1473], and [G2532] were settled in place of them [G1473].
24: Now [G3568] then [G3767], rise up and [G2532] depart and [G2532] go by [G3928][G1473] the [G3588] ravine [G5327] of Arnon! look [G2400], I have delivered up [G3860] into [G1519] the [G3588] your hands [G5495][G1473] the [G3588] Sihon king of Heshbon the [G3588] Amorite and [G2532] the [G3588] his land '[G1093][G1473]. Commence [G1728] to inherit [it [G2816]! Join against [G4314] him [G1473] in war [G4171]!
25: On [G1722] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778] commence [G1728] to give [G1325] the [G3588] trembling [G5156] of you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] fear [G5401] of you [G1473] upon [G1909] face [G4383] of all [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] of the [G3588] [ones] underneath [G5270] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]! Whoever [G3748] hearing the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473] will be disturbed [G5015], and [G2532] pangs of anguish [G5604] will have [G2192] before face [G4383] of you [G1473].
26: And [G2532] I sent ambassadors from [G1537] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] of Kedemoth to [G4314] Sihon king of Heshbon words [G3056] with peaceable [G1516], saying [G3004],
27: I will go [G3928] through [G1223] the [G3588] your land '[G1093][G1473]; in [G1722] the [G3588] journey [G3598] I will go [G4198] -- I will not turn aside [G3756][G1578] right [G1188] nor [G3761] left .
28: foods [G1033] for silver You will give to me [G1473], and [G2532] I will eat [G2068]; and [G2532] water [G5204] for silver you will give to me [G1473], and [G2532] I will drink [G4095]; only [G4133] that [G3754] I will go by [G3928] on the [G3588] feet [G4228],
29: as [G2531] did [G4160] to me [G1473] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Esau the [G3588] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] Seir], and [G2532] the [G3588] Moabites, the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] Ar, until [G2193] whenever I should go by [G3928] the [G3588] Jordan into [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] gives [G1325] us [G1473].
30: And [G2532] did not [G3756] want [G2309] Sihon king of Heshbon] us to go by [G3928][G1473] through [G1223] his [land [G1473], for [G3754] hardened [G4645] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] the [G3588] his wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151][G1473], and [G2532] strengthened [G2729] the [G3588] his heart [G2588][G1473], that [G2443] he should be delivered up [G3860] into [G1519] the [G3588] your hands [G5495][G1473], as [G5613] in [G1722] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778].
31: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], look [G2400], I have begun to deliver up [G3860] before [G4253] face [G4383] of you [G1473] the [G3588] Sihon king of Heshbon the [G3588] Amorite, and [G2532] the [G3588] his land '[G1093][G1473]. Commence [G1728] to inherit [G2816] the [G3588] his land '[G1093][G1473]!
32: And [G2532] came forth [G1831] Sihon king of Heshbon to [G1519] meet [G4877] us [G1473], he [G1473] and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] his people [G2992][G1473], for [G1519] war [G4171] at [G1519] Jahaz.
33: And [G2532] delivered [G3860] him [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] before [G4253] our face [G4383][G1473], into [G1519] the [G3588] our hands [G5495][G1473]; and [G2532] we struck [G3960] him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] his people [G2992][G1473].
34: And [G2532] we held [G2902] all [G3956] the [G3588] his cities [G4172][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] that time [G2540][G1565]. And [G2532] we utterly destroyed [G1842] every [G3956] city [G4172]; next [G1836] also [G2532] the [G3588]ir women [G1135][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir children [G5043][G1473] we did not [G3756] leave behind [G2641] for taking alive .
35: Except [G4133] the [G3588] cattle [G2934] we despoiled for ourselves [G1438]. And [G2532] the [G3588] spoils [G4661] from the [G3588] cities [G4172] we took [G2983],
36: from [G1537] Aroer, which [G3739] is by [G3844] the [G3588] bank [G5491] of the [G3588] rushing stream [G5493] Arnon, and [G2532] the [G3588] city [G4172] the [G3588] being in [G1722] the [G3588] ravine [G5327], and [G2532] unto [G2193] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] the [G3588] Gilead. There was not [G3756][G1096] a city [G4172] which [G3748] evaded [G1309] us [G1473]; the [G3588] delivered up all [G3956][G3860] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] our hands [G5495][G1473].
37: Except [G4133] in [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] [of the] sons [G5207] of Ammon we did not [G3756] draw near [G4334], all [G3956] the [parts the [G3588] falling in with stream [G5493] Jabbok, and [G2532] the [G3588] cities [G4172], the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] the [G3588] mountainous area [G3714], in so far as [G2530] gave charge [G1781] to us [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473].
