1: In [G1722] the [G3588] first [G4413] year [G2094] of Darius the [G3588] son [G5207] of Ahasuerus, off the [G3588] seed [G4690] of the [G3588] Medes, who [G3739] reigned over [G1909] the [G3588] government ' of Chaldeans,
2: in [G1722] year [G2094] one [G1520] of the [G3588] his government ', I [G1473] Daniel perceived [G4920] in [G1722] the [G3588] books the [G3588] number of the [G3588] years [G2094] of which [G3739] became [G1096] word [G3056] [of the] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Jeremiah the [G3588] prophet [G4396] for [G1519] a fulfillment of the [G3588] desolation [G2050] of Jerusalem -- seventy [G1440] years [G2094].
3: And [G2532] I put [G1325] the [G3588] my face [G4383][G1473] towards [G4314] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316], the [G3588] to inquire [G1567] by prayer [G4335] and [G2532] supplication [G1162], in [G1722] fasting [G3521], and [G2532] sackcloth [G4526], and [G2532] ashes [G4700].
4: And [G2532] I prayed [G4336] to [G4314] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473], and [G2532] I made acknowledgment [G1843], and [G2532] I said [G2036], O Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] great [G3173] and [G2532] wonderful [G2298], the [G3588] keeping [G5442] the [G3588] your covenant [G1242][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] compassion [G1656] to the [G3588] [ones] loving you [G1473], and [G2532] to the [G3588] [ones] keeping [G5442] the [G3588] your commandments [G1785][G1473];
5: we sinned , we did wrong , we were impious , and [G2532] we left and [G2532] turned aside [G1578] from the [G3588] your commandments [G1785][G1473], and [G2532] from [G1473] your judgments [G2917].
6: And [G2532] we did not [G3756] listen to [G1522] the [G3588] your servants [G1401][G1473] the [G3588] prophets [G4396], the [G3588] [ones] speaking [G2980] in [G1722] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588] our kings [G1473], and [G2532] our rulers [G1473], and [G2532] our fathers [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] to [G4314] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] of the [G3588] land '[G1093].
7: To you [G1473], O Boss '[G2962], [is the [G3588] righteousness [G1343], and [G2532] to us [G1473] the [G3588] shame of the [G3588] face [G4383], as [G5613] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778]; to man of Judah, and [G2532] to the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G1774] Jerusalem, and [G2532] to all [G3956] Israel, to the [G3588] [ones] near [G1451], and [G2532] to the [G3588] [ones] far off [G3112] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093], of which [G3739] you dispersed [G1289] them [G1473] there [G1563], for their rebellion [G1473] in which [G3739] they annulled [covenant with [G1722] you [G1473], O Boss '[G2962].
8: To us [G1473] the [G3588] shame of the [G3588] face [G4383], and [G2532] [to the [G3588] our kings [G1473], and [G2532] [to the [G3588] our rulers [G1473], and [G2532] [to the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473], to the ones who [G3748] sinned against you [G1473].
9: To Boss '[G2962] our God '[G2316][G1473] [are] the [G3588] compassions [G3628], and [G2532] the [G3588] atonements [G2434], for [G3754] we separated from Boss '[G2962].
10: And [G2532] we hearkened not to [G3756][G1522] the [G3588] voice [G5456] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473], to go [G4198] by [G1722] the [G3588] his laws [G3551][G1473], ones which [G3739] he executed [G1325] before [G2596] our face [G4383][G1473] by [G1722] hands [G5495] of the [G3588] his servants [G1401][G1473] the [G3588] prophets [G4396].
11: And [G2532] all [G3956] Israel violated [G3845] the [G3588] your law [G3551][G1473], and [G2532] turned aside [G1578] the [G3588] to not [G3361] hearken to the [G3588] your voice [G5456][G1473]; and [G2532] there came [G1904] upon [G1909] us [G1473] the [G3588] curse [G2671], and [G2532] the [G3588] oath [G3727], the one [G3739] having been written [G1125] in [G1722] law [G3551] of Moses servant [G1401] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], for [G3754] we sinned against him [G1473].
12: And [G2532] he established [G2476] the [G3588] his words [G3056][G1473] which [G3739] he spoke [G2980] against [G1909] us [G1473], and [G2532] against [G1909] the [G3588] our judges [G2923][G1473], the [G3588] [ones] judging [G2919] us [G1473], to bring [G1863] upon [G1909] us [G1473] evils [G2556] great [G3173]; such as [G3634] have not [G3756] taken place [G1096] underneath [G5270] all [G3956] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], according to [G2596] the [things] [G3588] taking place [G1096] in [G1722] Jerusalem.
13: As [G2531] was written [G1125] in [G1722] the [G3588] law [G3551] of Moses, all [G3956] the [G3588]se evils [G2556][G3778] came [G2064] upon [G1909] us [G1473]. And [G2532] we did not [G3756] beseech [G1189] the [G3588] face [G4383] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473], to turn from the [G3588] our iniquities [G1473], and [G2532][G1473] to perceive [G4920] in [G1722] all [G3956] truth .
14: And [G2532] was vigilant [G1127] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] against [G1909] the [G3588] evil [G2549], and [G2532] brought [G1863] them [G1473] upon [G1909] us [G1473]. For [G3754] [is] just [G1342] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] in [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] his doing [G4162][G1473] which [G3739] he did [G4160]. And [G2532] we hearkened not to [G3756][G1522] the [G3588] his voice [G5456][G1473].
15: And [G2532] now [G3568], O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473], who [G3739] led [G1806] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] from [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt by [G1722] hand [G5495] a fortified [G2900], and [G2532] you made [G4160] for yourself [G4572] a name [G3686] as [G5613] [it is the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778] -- we sinned , we acted lawlessly , we transgressed .
16: O Boss '[G2962], in [G1722] all [G3956] your charity [G1654][G1473] let turn indeed [G1211] the [G3588] your rage [G2372][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your anger [G3709][G1473] from the [G3588] your city [G4172][G1473] Jerusalem, raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] your pure '[G1473]! For [G3754] we sinned in [G1722] the [G3588] our iniquities [G1473], and [G2532] of the [G3588] [ones] of our fathers [G3962][G1473]. Jerusalem and [G2532] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] for [G1519] scorn [G3680] became [G1096] among [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] surrounding us [G1473].
17: And [G2532] now [G3568], hearken [G1522] O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473], of the [G3588] prayer [G4335] of the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] his supplications [G1162][G1473]! And [G2532] let appear [G2014] the [G3588] face [G4383] of you [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] your sanctified place [G1473], the [G3588] deserted one [G2048], because of [G1752] you [G1473] O Boss '[G2962]!
18: Lean [G2827], O the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473], the [G3588] your ear [G3775][G1473], and [G2532] hearken ! Open the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473], and [G2532] look [at] [G1492] the [G3588] our extinction [G1473]! and [G2532] of the [G3588] your city [G4172][G1473] upon [G1909] which [G3739] is called [G1941] the [G3588] your name [G3686][G1473] upon [G1909] it [G1473]. For [G3754] not [G3756] upon [G1909] the [G3588] our righteousness [G1343][G1473] we [G1473] toss [G4495] the [G3588] our compassion [G3628][G1473] before [G1799] you [G1473], but upon [G1909] the [G3588] compassions [G3628] your [G1473] the [G3588] great [G4183], O Boss '[G2962].
19: Hearken [G1522], O Boss '[G2962]! Atone [G2433], O Boss '[G2962]! Take heed [G4337], O Boss '[G2962]! Act [G4160], and [G2532] do not [G3361] delay [G5549] for your [sake [G1752][G1473], O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473]! For [G3754] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473] is called [G1941] upon [G1909] the [G3588] your city [G4172][G1473], and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473].
20: And [G2532] yet [G2089] [during] my [G1473] speaking [G2980], and [G2532] praying [G4336], and [G2532] declaring openly the [G3588] my sins [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] sins of the [G3588] my people [G2992][G1473] Israel, and [G2532] tossing [G4495] the [G3588] my [desire for] compassion [G1656][G1473] before [G1726] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] the [G3588] pure ' the [G3588] of God '[G2316] of me [G1473],
21: and [G2532] yet [G2089] [during] my [G1473] speaking [G2980] in [G1722] the [G3588] prayer [G4335], that [G2532] look [G2400], man Gabriel, whom [G3739] I looked [at] [G1492] in [G1722] the [G3588] vision [G3706] at [G1722] the [G3588] beginning flying [G4072], and [G2532] he touched me [G1473] about [G5616] hour [G5610] sacrifice [G2378] of evening .
22: And [G2532] he brought understanding to me [G1473], and [G2532] spoke [G2980] with [G3326] me [G1473], and [G2532] said [G2036], O Daniel, now [G3568] I came forth [G1831] to instruct [G4822] you [G1473] for understanding [G4907].
23: In [G1722] beginning of the [G3588] supplication [G1162] of you [G1473] went forth [G1831] the [G3588] word [G3056], and [G2532] I [G1473] came [G2064] the [G3588] to announce to you [G1473]; for [G3754] a man desired [G1939] you are [G1473]. And [now [G2532] reflect in [G1722] the [G3588] matter [G4487], and [G2532] perceive [G4920] in [G1722] the [G3588] [supernatural] appearing [G3701]!
24: Seventy [G1440] periods of seven were rendered concise [G4932] upon [G1909] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473], and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] city [G4172] the [G3588] pure ', the [G3588] to finish off [G4931] sin , and [G2532] the [G3588] to set a seal upon [G4972] sins , and [G2532] to wipe out the [G3588] lawless deeds , and [G2532] the [G3588] to atone for iniquities , and [G2532] the [G3588] to convey ' righteousness [G1343] of the term (age) ', and [G2532] the [G3588] to set a seal upon [G4972] vision [G3706] and [G2532] prophecy [G4394], and [G2532] the [G3588] to anoint [G5548] pure ' of pures '.
25: And [G2532] you will know [G1097] and [G2532] perceive [G4920], from delivery [G1841] of word [G3056] the [G3588] to respond and [G2532] the [G3588] to build [G3618] Jerusalem until [G2193] Anointed "'[G5547] leading [G2233] -- periods of seven seven [G2033], and [G2532] periods of seven sixty-two . Again [G3825] will be built [G3618] square [G4113] and [G2532] wall [G5038] in [G1722] straits [G4730] of the [G3588] times [G5550].
26: And [G2532] after [G3326] the [G3588] periods of seven the [G3588] sixty-two , will be utterly destroyed [G1842] anointing [G5545], and [G2532] judgment [G2917] is no longer [G3756] in [G1722] it [G1473]. And the [G3588][G1161] city [G4172], and [G2532] the [G3588] holy place he will corrupt [G1311] with [G4862] the [G3588] [one] taking the lead [G2233], the [G3588] [one] coming [G2064], and [G2532] they will be cut off [G1581] as [G5613] in [G1722] a flood [G2627], and [G2532] until [G2193] end [G5056] of war [G4171] being terminated [G4932] he will order [G5010] in extinctions .
27: And [G2532] he will strengthen [G1412] covenant [G1242] with many [G4183] period of sevens one [G1520]; and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] half [G2255] of the [G3588] period of seven will be lifted away sacrifice [G2378] and [G2532] libation [offering , and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] temple [G2413] an abomination of the [G3588] desolations [G2050] will be ; and [G2532] until [G2193] the [G3588] completion [G4930] of time [G2540], completion [G4930] will be given [G1325] unto [G1909] the [G3588] desolation [G2050].
