Acts Chapter 21 -

1
And when [G5613][G1161] it came to pass [G1096], we embarked [G1473], having drawn away from them [G1473], having run direct [G2113], we came [G2064] unto [G1519] the [G3588] Cos; and the [G3588][G1161] next [day [G1836] unto [G1519] the [G3588] Rhodes, and from there [G2547] unto [G1519] Patara.
2
And [G2532] having found [G2147] a boat [G4143] passing through [G1276] unto [G1519] Phoenicia, having set foot [on it [G1910] we embarked .
3
having appeared And [G1161] the [G3588] Cyprus], and [G2532] having left [G2641] it [G1473] on left [G2176], we sailed [G4126] unto [G1519] Syria, and [G2532] led down [G2609] unto [G1519] Tyre; for at that place [G1566][G1063] was the [G3588] boat [G4143] unloading the [G3588] cargo [G1117].
4
And [G2532] having discovered the [G3588] trainees '[G3101], we remained [G1961] there days [G2250] seven [G2033], the ones who [G3748] the [G3588] said to Paul [G3004] through [G1223] the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151], not [G3361] to go up unto [G1519] Jerusalem.
5
But when [G3753][G1161] it happened [G1096] we [G1473] accomplished [G1822] the [G3588] days [G2250], having gone forth [G1831] we went [G4198], escorting us [G4311][G1473] all [G3956] with [G4862] women [G1135] and [G2532] children [G5043] as far as [G2193] outside [G1854] the [G3588] city [G4172]. And [G2532] setting [G5087] the [G3588] knees [G1119] upon [G1909] the [G3588] shore , we prayed [G4336].
6
And [G2532] having saluted one another , we mounted [G1910] into [G1519] the [G3588] boat [G4143]; and those [G1565][G1161] returned [G5290] to [G1519] their own the [G3588][G2398].
7
And we [G1473][G1161] the [G3588] voyage [G4144] having concluded [G1274] from Tyre, arrived [G2658] at [G1519] Ptolemais. And [G2532] having saluted the [G3588] brothers , we abode [G3306] day [G2250] one [G1520] with [G3844] them [G1473].
8
And the [G3588][G1161] next day [G1887], having gone forth [G1831] the [G3588] [ones] around [G4012] the [G3588] Paul], they came [G2064] unto [G1519] Caesarea. And [G2532] having entered [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Philip the [G3588] good-word-conveyer (good-messenger, evangelist) '[G2099], being [one] of [G1537] the [G3588] seven [G2033], we stayed [G3306] with [G3844] him [G1473].
9
And to this [man [G3778][G1161] there were daughters [G2364] virgin [G3933] four [G5064] who prophesied [G4395].
10
remaining [there [G1961][G1161] And [G1161] of our [G1473] days [G2250] many [G4183], there came down [G2718] a certain one [G5100] from the [G3588] Judea, a prophet [G4396], by name [G3686] Agabus.
11
And [G2532] having come [G2064] to [G4314] us [G1473], and [G2532] having taken the [G3588] belt [G2223] of the [G3588] Paul, and having bound [G1210][G5037] of him '[G1473] the [G3588] hands [G5495] and [G2532] the [G3588] feet [G4228], he said [G2036], Thus [G3592] says [G3004] the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of the [G3588] [one] pure ', the [G3588] man of which [G3739] is the [G3588] this belt [G2223][G3778], so [G3779] will bind [G1210] in [G1519] Jerusalem the [G3588] Jews], and [G2532] they will deliver [him] up [G3860] into [G1519] hands [G5495] of tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484].
12
And when [G5613][G1161] we heard these [things] [G3778], appealed [G3870] both we [G1473][G5037] and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] of that place [G1786] the [G3588] to not [G3361] go up for him [G1473] unto [G1519] Jerusalem.
13
responded And [G5037] the [G3588] Paul], Why [G5100] do you cause [G4160] weeping [G2799] and [G2532] breaking [G4919] of my [G1473] the [G3588] heart [G2588]? For I [G1473][G1063] not [G3756] only [G3440] to be bound [G1210], but also [G2532] to die in [G1519] Jerusalem readily [G2093] hold [G2192] for [G5228] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] Jesus (BOSS Saves) [G2424][H3091].
14
not [G3361] being persuaded [G3982] And [G1161] he [G1473], we were still [G2270], having said [G2036], the [G3588] will [G2307] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], let it be [G1096]!
15
And after [G3326][G1161] the [G3588]se days [G2250][G3778], having packed up , we went up unto [G1519] Jerusalem.
16
And came together [G4905][G1161] also [some [G2532] of the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] from Caesarea with [G4862] us [G1473], conveying ' [the one] with [G3844] whom [G3739] we should lodge [G3579], a certain Mnason [G5100], a Cypriot, of old an trainee '[G3101].
17
being [G1096] And [G1161] of our [G1473] in [G1519] Jerusalem, gladly received [G1209] us [G1473] the [G3588] brothers .
18
And the [G3588][G1161] following day [G1966] Paul enters [G1524] the [G3588] with [G4862] us [G1473] to [G4314] James; and all [G3956][G5037] arrived [G3854] the [G3588] elders [G4245].
19
And [G2532] having greeted them [G1473], he described [G1834] according to [G2596] one [G1520] each [G1538] what [G3739] did [G4160] the [G3588] God '[G2316] among [G1722] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] through [G1223] the [G3588] his service [G1248][G1473].
20
And they the [G3588][G1161] having heard , glorified [G1392] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]. And they said [G2036][G5037] to him [G1473], You view [G2334], O brother , how many [G4214] ten-thousands [G3461] there are of believing Jews the [G3588][G4100], and [G2532] all [G3956] zealous [G2207] of the [G3588] law [G3551] being [G5224].
21
And they instruct [G2727][G1161] concerning [G4012] you [G1473] that [G3754] defection you teach [G1321] from Moses the [G3588] among [G2596] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] all [G3956] Jews], saying [G3004] not [G3361] to circumcise [G4059] their [G1473] the [G3588] children [G5043], nor [G3366] in the [G3588] customs [G1485] to walk [G4043].
22
What [G5100] then [G3767] is it ? Assuredly [G3843] it is necessary [G1163] for a multitude [G4128] to come together [G4905]; for they will hear [G1063] that [G3754] you have come [G2064].
23
This [G3778] then [G3767] do [G4160] what [G3739] we tell you [G1473][G3004]! There are with us [G1473] men four [G5064] a vow [G2171] having [G2192] upon [G1909] themselves [G1438];
24
taking these [G3778][G3880], be purified with [G4862] them [G1473], and [G2532] spend [G1159] for [G1909] them [G1473], that [G2443] they may shave [G3587] the [G3588] head [G2776]! and [G2532] all should know [G1097][G3956] that [G3754] of which [G3739] they have been instructed [G2727] concerning [G4012] you [G1473] is nothing [G3762], but you conform to [G4748] even [G2532] yourself [G1473] the [G3588] law [G3551] keeping [G5442].
25
But concerning [G4012][G1161] the [G3588] [ones] trusting '[G4100] of tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], we [G1473] wrote [G1989], judging [G2919] no [G3367] such [thing] [G5108] them to give heed to [G5083][G1473], except [G1508] to keep themselves from [G5442][G1473] both that the [G3588][G5037] sacrificed to idols [G1494], and [G2532] the [G3588] blood , and [G2532] [what is] strangled [G4156], and [G2532] harlotry [G4202].
26
Then [G5119] the [G3588] Paul, having taken [G3880] the [G3588] men the [G3588] next [G2192] day [G2250], with [G4862] them [G1473] having been purified , he entered [G1524] into [G1519] the [G3588] temple [G2413], declaring [G1229] the [G3588] fulfillment [G1604] of the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] purification , while [G2193][G3739] was offered [G4374] for [G5228] one [G1520] each [G1538] of them [G1473] of the [G3588]fering [G4376].
27
And when [G5613][G1161] were about [G3195] the [G3588] seven [G2033] days [G2250] to be completed [G4931], the [G3588] from the [G3588] Asia Jews], having seen [G2300] him [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] temple [G2413], caused a tumult [G4797] [with] all [G3956] the [G3588] crowd [G3793], and [G2532] they put [G1911] the [G3588] hands [G5495] upon [G1909] him [G1473],
28
crying out [G2896], Men , Israelites, help ! This [G3778] is the [G3588] man , the [G3588] [one] against [G2596] the [G3588] people [G2992] and [G2532] the [G3588] law [G3551] 10> and [G2532] the [G3588] 11> this place [G5117][G3778] all [G3956] everywhere [G3837] teaching [G1321]; still [G2089] indeed [G5037] even [G2532] Greeks he brings [G1521] into [G1519] the [G3588] temple [G2413], and [G2532] makes unclean [G2840] the [G3588] pure ' place [G5117] this [G3778].
29
For they were [G1063] seeing [G3708] Trophimus the [G3588] Ephesian in [G1722] the [G3588] city [G4172] with [G4862] him [G1473], whom [G3739] they thought [G3543] that [G3754] into [G1519] the [G3588] temple [G2413] brought [G1521] the [G3588] Paul].
30
And was shaken up [G2795] indeed [G5037] the [G3588] city [G4172] entire [G3650], and [G2532] there became [G1096] a stampede [G4890] of the [G3588] people [G2992]. And [G2532] having taken hold of [G1949] the [G3588] Paul, they drew [G1670] him [G1473] outside [G1854] the [G3588] temple [G2413]; and [G2532] immediately [G2112] they locked [G2808] the [G3588] doors [G2374].
31
And seeking [G2212][G1161] to kill him [G1473], went up a report [G5334] to the [G3588] commander [G5506] of the [G3588] cohort [G4686], that [G3754] all [G3650] Jerusalem was in tumult [G4797].
32
Who [G3739] immediately [G1824] having taken [G3880] soldiers [G4757] and [G2532] centurions [G1543], ran down [G2701] upon [G1909] them [G1473]. And the [G3588] [ones] [G1161] looking [at] [G1492] the [G3588] commander [G5506] and [G2532] the [G3588] soldiers [G4757], ceased [G3973] beating [G5180] the [G3588] Paul.
33
And having approached [G1448][G1161], the [G3588] commander [G5506] took hold of [G1949] him [G1473], and [G2532] bid [him [G2753] to be tied [G1210] chains with two [G1417], and [G2532] to inquire about [G4441] who [G5100] he may be , and [G2532] what [G5100] he is doing [G4160].
34
And others to another [G1161][G5100] were yelling in [G1722] the [G3588] crowd [G3793]. not [G3361] being able [G1410] And [G1161] to know [G1097] the [G3588] safely because of [G1223] the [G3588] tumult [G2351], he bid [them [G2753] to convey ' him [G1473] unto [G1519] the [G3588] camp [G3925].
35
And when [G3753][G1161] he was [G1096] at [G1909] the [G3588] stairs , it happened [G4819] that he was borne [G1473] by [G5259] the [G3588] soldiers [G4757] because of [G1223] for the [G3588]ce of the [G3588] crowd [G3793].
36
followed For [G1063] the [G3588] multitude [G4128] of the [G3588] people [G2992] crying out [G2896], Take him [away [G1473]!
37
And being about [G3195][G5037] to be brought [G1521] into [G1519] the [G3588] camp [G3925], the [G3588] Paul says [G3004] to the [G3588] commander [G5506], Is [G1487] it allowed [G1832] for me [G1473] to speak [G2036] to [G4314] you [G1473]? the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G5346], You know Greek [G1097]?
38
not [G3756] then Are you [G1473] the [G3588] Egyptian [who the [G3588] before [G4253] these [G3778] the [G3588] days [G2250] overthrew , and [G2532] led out [G1806] into [G1519] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] the [G3588] four thousand [G5070] men of the [G3588] Sicari?
39
said [G2036] And [G1161] the [G3588] Paul], I am [G1473] a man indeed [G3303], I am a Jew of Tarsus the [G3588] of Cilicia, of not [G3756] an unmarked city [G4172] a citizen [G4177]; and I beseech [G1189][G1161] you [G1473] commit it to my care [G2010][G1473] to speak [G2980] to [G4314] the [G3588] people [G2992].
40
having permitted [G2010] And [G1161] he [G1473], the [G3588] Paul standing [G2476] upon [G1909] the [G3588] stairs , waved [G2678] the [G3588] [his] hand [G5495] to the [G3588] people [G2992]; and with a great [G4183][G1161] quietness [G4602] having taken place [G1096], he called out [G4377] in the [G3588] Hebrew dialect [G1258], saying [G3004],
