And [G2532] was all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093] lip [G5491] one [G1520], and [G2532] voice [G5456] one [G1520] to all [G3956].

And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir moving [G2795][G1473] from east , they found [G2147] a plain in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Shinar, and [G2532] they dwelt [G2730] there [G1563].

And [G2532] said [G2036] a man the [G3588] to his neighbor [G4139][G1473], Come [G1205] let us make bricks , and [G2532] let us bake them [G1473] in fire [G4442]. And [G2532] became [G1096] to them [G1473] the [G3588] brick as [G1519] stone [G3037], and [G2532] asphalt was their [G1473] the [G3588] mortar [G4081].

And [G2532] they said [G2036], Come [G1205] let us build [G3618] to ourselves [G1438] a city [G4172] and [G2532] tower [G4444] of which [G3739] the [G3588] top [G2776] will be unto [G2193] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]. And [G2532] let us make [G4160] to ourselves [G1438] a name [G3686] before [G4253] the [G3588] being scattered [G1289] upon [G1909] face [G4383] of all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093].

And [G2532] BOSS went down [G2597][G2962] to look at [G1492] the [G3588] city [G4172] and [G2532] the [G3588] tower [G4444], which [G3739] built [G3618] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] men .

And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962], Look, [there is [G2400] kind [G1085] one [G1520] and [G2532] lip [G5491] one [G1520] for all [G3956], and [G2532] this [G3778] they began to do [G4160]. the [things] [G3588] now [G3568] will not fail [G3756][G1587] from [G1537] them [G1473], all [G3956] as much [G3745] as they might attempt [G2007] to do [G4160].

Come [G1205], and [G2532] going down [G2597], let us confound [G4797] their language [G1100][G1473], that [G2443] they should not [G3361] hearken to each [G1538] the [G3588] voice [G5456] of the [G3588] neighbor [G4139].

And [G2532] BOSS scattered [G1289][G2962] them [G1473] from there [G1564] upon [G1909] the [G3588] face [G4383] of all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093]; and [G2532] they ceased [G3973] building [G3618] the [G3588] city [G4172] and [G2532] the [G3588] tower [G4444].

On account of [G1223] this [G3778] was called [G2564] the [G3588] name [G3686] of it [G1473] Confusion [G4799], because [G3754] there [G1563] BOSS confounded [G4797][G2962] the [G3588] lips [G5491] of all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] from there [G1564] scattered [G1289] them [G1473] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] upon [G1909] face [G4383] of all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093].

And [G2532] these [G3778] [are] the [G3588] generations [G1078] of Shem. And [G2532] Shem was a hundred [G1540] years [old [G2094] when [G3753] he procreated [G1080] the [G3588] Arphaxad, second [G1208] year [G2094] after [G3326] the [G3588] flood [G2627].

And [G2532] Shem lived [G2198] after [G3326] the [G3588] his procreating [G1080][G1473] the [G3588] Arphaxad, five [G4002] and [G2532] thirty [G5144] and [G2532] three-hundred [G5145] years [G2094], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] sons [G5207] and [G2532] daughters [G2364], and [G2532] he died .

And [G2532] Arphaxad lived [G2198] a hundred [G1540] thirty [G5144] five [G4002] years [G2094], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] the [G3588] Cainan.

And [G2532] Arphaxad lived [G2198] after [G3326] the [G3588] his procreating [G1080][G1473] the [G3588] Cainan, years [G2094] three hundred [G5145] thirty [G5144], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] sons [G5207] and [G2532] daughters [G2364], and [G2532] he died . And [G2532] Cainan lived [G2198] a hundred [G1540] and [G2532] thirty [G5144] years [G2094], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] the [G3588] Salah. And [G2532] Cainan lived [G2198] after [G3326] the [G3588] his procreating [G1080][G1473] the [G3588] Salah, years [G2094] three hundred [G5145] thirty [G5144], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] sons [G5207] and [G2532] daughters [G2364], and [G2532] he died .

And [G2532] Salah lived [G2198] a hundred [G1540] thirty [G5144] years [G2094], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] the [G3588] Eber.

And [G2532] Salah lived [G2198] after [G3326] the [G3588] his procreating [G1080][G1473] the [G3588] Eber, three hundred [G5145] thirty [G5144] years [G2094], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] sons [G5207] and [G2532] daughters [G2364], and [G2532] he died .

And [G2532] Eber lived [G2198] a hundred [G1540] thirty [G5144] four [G5064] years [G2094], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] the [G3588] Peleg.

And [G2532] Eber lived [G2198] after [G3326] the [G3588] his procreating [G1080][G1473] the [G3588] Peleg, years [G2094] three hundred [G5145] seventy [G1440], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] sons [G5207] and [G2532] daughters [G2364], and [G2532] he died .

And [G2532] Peleg lived [G2198] thirty [G5144] and [G2532] a hundred [G1540] years [G2094], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] the [G3588] Reu.

And [G2532] Peleg lived [G2198] after [G3326] the [G3588] his procreating [G1080][G1473] the [G3588] Reu, nine [G1767] and [G2532] two hundred [G1250] years [G2094], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] sons [G5207] and [G2532] daughters [G2364], and [G2532] he died .

And [G2532] Reu lived [G2198] a hundred [G1540] thirty [G5144] and [G2532] two [G1417] years [G2094]. and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] the [G3588] Serug.

And [G2532] Reu lived [G2198] after [G3326] the [G3588] his procreating [G1080] the [G3588] Serug two hundred [G1250] seven [G2033] years [G2094], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] sons [G5207] and [G2532] daughters [G2364], and [G2532] he died .

And [G2532] Serug lived [G2198] a hundred [G1540] thirty [G5144] years [G2094], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] the [G3588] Nahor.

And [G2532] Serug lived [G2198] after [G3326] the [G3588] his procreating [G1080][G1473] the [G3588] Nahor, years [G2094] two hundred [G1250], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] sons [G5207] and [G2532] daughters [G2364], and [G2532] he died .

And [G2532] Nahor lived [G2198][G1473] years [G2094] seventy [G1440] nine [G1767], and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] the [G3588] Terah.

And [G2532] Nahor lived [G2198] after [G3326] the [G3588] his procreating [G1080][G1473] the [G3588] Terah, years [G2094] a hundred [G1540] twenty-nine , and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] sons [G5207] and [G2532] daughters [G2364], and [G2532] he died .

And [G2532] Terah lived [G2198] seventy [G1440] years [G2094] and [G2532] he procreated [G1080] the [G3588] Abram and [G2532] the [G3588] Nahor and [G2532] the [G3588] Haran.

And these [are [G3778][G1161] the [G3588] generations [G1078] of Terah. Terah procreated [G1080] the [G3588] Abram, and [G2532] the [G3588] Nahor, and [G2532] the [G3588] Haran. And [G2532] Haran procreated [G1080] the [G3588] Lot.

And [G2532] Haran died in the presence of [G1799] Terah the [G3588] [his] father [G3962], in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] in which [G3739] he was procreated [G1080], in [G1722] the [G3588] region [G5561] of the [G3588] Chaldeans.

And [G2532] took [G2983] Abram and [G2532] Nahor] to themselves [G1438] wives [G1135]. name [G3686] of the [G3588] wife [G1135] of Abram [was] Sarai, and [G2532] name [G3686] of the [G3588] wife [G1135] of Nahor [was] Milcha, daughter [G2364] of Haran. And [he was the [G2532] father [G3962] of Milcha, and [G2532] father [G3962] of Iscah.

And [G2532] Sarai was sterile [G4723], and [G2532] not [G3756] able to produce children .

And [G2532] Terah took [G2983] the [G3588] Abram son [G5207] of him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] Lot son [G5207] of Haran, son [G5207] of the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] Sarai the [G3588] his daughter-in-law [G3565][G1473], wife [G1135] of Abram the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473]. And [G2532] he led [G1806] them [G1473] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] region [G5561] of the [G3588] Chaldeans to go [G4198] into [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Canaan. And [G2532] they came [G2064] unto [G2193] Haran and [G2532] dwelt [G2730] there [G1563].

And [G2532] were [G1096] the [G3588] days [G2250] of Terah in [G1722] Haran, two hundred [G1250] five [G4002] years [G2094]; and [G2532] Terah died in [G1722] Haran.
