1: In [G1722] the [G3588] my healing [G2390][G1473] the [G3588] Israel, [then [G2532] was uncovered the [G3588] injustice of Ephraim], and [G2532] the [G3588] evil [G2549] of Samaria. For [G3754] they worked [G2038] falsehoods [G5571]; and [G2532] a thief [G2812] to [G4314] him [G1473] entered [G1525], stripping [him [and] a robber [G3027] in [G1722] the [G3588] his way [G3598][G1473];
2: so that [G3704] they be together in concert as [G5613] [men] singing [in the [G3588]ir heart [that [G2588][G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588]ir evils [G2549][G1473] I remember [G3403]. Now [G3568] encircled [G2944] them [G1473] the [G3588]ir deliberations [G1473]; before the [G3588] my face [G4383][G1473] they took place [G1096].
3: In [G1722] the [G3588]ir evils [G2549][G1473] they gladdened [G2165] a king , and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir lies [G5579][G1473] rulers .
4: All [G3956] committing adultery [G3431] [are] as [G5613] an oven [G2823] burning [G2545] for [G1519] baking ; burning from the [G3588] flame [G5395], from mixing together of fat until [G2193] the [G3588] its being leavened [G2220][G1473] wholly [G3650].
5: In days [G2250] of the [G3588] our kings [G1473] began the [G3588] rulers to be enraged [G2373] from [G1537] wine [G3631]; he stretched out [G1614] the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473] with [G3326] pestilent ones [G3061].
6: For [G1360] were kindled as [G5613] an oven [G2823] the [G3588]ir hearts [G2588][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir breaking down [G1473] all [G3650] the [G3588] night [G3571]; of sleep [G5258] Ephraim was filled [G1705]; in the morning [G4404] it was kindled as [G5613] of a fire [G4442] a flame [G5395].
7: They were all heated [G3956][G2328] as [G5613] an oven [G2823], and [G2532] they devoured [G2719] the [G3588]ir judges [G2923][G1473]; all [G3956] the [G3588]ir kings [G1473] are fallen [G4098]; there was not [G3756] [one] among [G1722] them [G1473] the [G3588] calling [G1941] to [G4314] me [G1473].
8: Ephraim in [G1722] the [G3588] his peoples [G2992][G1473] is intermixed [G4874]; Ephraim became [G1096] a cake baked in hot ashes not being turned over [G3756][G3344].
9: And [G2532] ate [G2068] strangers the [G3588] strength [G2479] of him [G1473], but he [G1473][G1161] did not [G3756] know [it [G1097]; and [G2532] gray hairs broke out to him [G1473], and [G2532] he [G1473] did not [G3756] know [it [G1097].
10: And [G2532] will be humbled [G5013] the [G3588] insolence [G5196] of Israel] unto [G1519] his face [G4383][G1473]; but [G2532] they turned not [G3756][G1994] towards [G4314] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of them [G1473]; and [G2532] they sought not after [G3756][G1567] him [G1473] in [G1722] all [G3956] these [things] [G3778].
11: And [G2532] Ephraim was as [G5613] dove [G4058] a mindless , not [G3756] having [G2192] a heart [G2588]; Egypt he called upon [G1941], and [G2532] unto [G1519] Assyria they went [G4198].
12: As [G2531] whenever they will go [G4198] I will put [G1911] over [G1909] them [G1473] the [G3588] my net [G1350][G1473]; as [G2531] the [G3588] birds [G4071] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], I will lead them down [G2609][G1473]; I will correct [G3811] them [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] hearing of the [G3588]ir affliction [G2347][G1473].
13: Woe [G3759] to them [G1473], for [G3754] they leaped back from me [G1473]. Wretched are they , for [G3754] they were impious against [G1519] me [G1473]. But I [G1473][G1161] ransomed [G3084] them [G1473]; but they [G1473][G1161] spoke ill [G2635] against [G2596] me [G1473] with lies [G5571],
14: and [G2532] yelled out not [G3756] to [G4314] me [G1473] the [G3588] with their hearts [G2588][G1473], but only shrieked [G3649] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir beds [G2845][G1473]; for [G1909] grain [G4621] and [G2532] wine [G3631] they mutilated themselves .
15: They were corrected [G3811] by [G1722] me [G1473]; I strengthened [G2729] the [G3588]ir arms [G1023][G1473]; and [G2532] against [G1519] me [G1473] they devised [G3049] wicked [things] [G4190].
16: They returned unto [G1519] nothing [G3762]; they became [G1096] as [G5613] a bow [G5115] being stretched tight ; will fall [G4098] by [G1722] broadsword [G4501] the [G3588]ir rulers [G1473] because of [G1223] stupidity of their tongue [G1100][G1473]; this is [G3778] the [G3588]ir disparagement [G1473] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Egypt.
