Jeremiah Chapter 13 - | Early Church Bible

1: Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], Proceed and [G2532] acquire [G2932] for yourself [G4572] loincloth a flaxen linen , and [G2532] put it [G4060] around [G4012] the [G3588] your loin [G3751][G1473]! and [G2532][G1722] water [G5204] you will not [G3756] go through [G1330].
2: And [G2532] I acquired [G2932] the [G3588] loincloth according to [G2596] the [G3588] word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] I put it [G4060] around [G4012] the [G3588] my loin [G3751][G1473].
3: And [G2532] came to pass [G1096] word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473] of [G1537] a second [time] [G1208], saying [G3004],
4: Take [G2983] the [G3588] loincloth , the [G3588] [one] around [G4012] the [G3588] your loin [G3751][G1473], and [G2532] arise , and [G2532] proceed unto [G1909] the [G3588] Euphrates, and [G2532] hide it [G1473] there [G1563] in [G1722] the [G3588] hole [G5168] of the [G3588] rock [G4073]!
5: And [G2532] I went [G4198], and [G2532] hid [G2928] it [G1473] by [G1722] the [G3588] Euphrates, as [G2531] gave charge [G1781] to me [G1473] Boss '[G2962].
6: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] after [G3326] days [G2250] many [G4183], and [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], Arise ! Proceed unto [G1909] the [G3588] Euphrates, and [G2532] take [G2983] from there [G1564] the [G3588] loincloth ! the one which [G3739] I gave charge [G1781] to you [G1473] the [G3588] to hide it [G1473] there [G1563].
7: And [G2532] I went [G4198] unto [G1909] the [G3588] Euphrates, and [G2532] I dug [G3736], and [G2532] I took [G2983] the [G3588] loincloth from out of [G1537] the [G3588] place [G5117] where [G3739] I hid [G2928] it [G1473] there [G1563]. And [G2532] look [G2400], it was ruined [G1311], which [G3739] in no way should it be used [G5530] for [G1519] anything [G3762].
8: And [G2532] came to pass [G1096] word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], saying [G3004],
9: Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], Thus [G3779] will I corrupt [G5351] the [G3588] insolence [G5196] of Judah, and [G2532] the [G3588] insolence [G5196] of Jerusalem;
10: the [G3588] this great [G4183][G3778] insolence [G5196] of the [G3588] [ones] not [G3361] wanting [G1014] to obey [G5219] the [G3588] my words [G3056][G1473], and [G2532] having gone [G4198] in [G1722] straightness [G2118] the [G3588] heart [G2588] of their [G1473] the [G3588] wicked [G4190], and [G2532] having gone [G4198] after [G3694] strange gods '[G2316], the [G3588] to serve [G1398] to them [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] to do obeisance to [G4352] them [G1473]; and [G2532] they will be as [G5618] the [G3588] this loincloth [G3778] which [G3739] will not [G3756] be used [G5530] yet [G2089] for [G1519] anything [G3762].
11: For just as [G2509][G1063] cleaves [G2853] the [G3588] loincloth around [G4012] the [G3588] loin [G3751] of the [G3588] a man , so [G3779] I cleaved [G2853] to [G4314] myself [G1683] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] Israel, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Judah, says [G3004] Boss '[G2962]; the [G3588] to be [G1096] to me [G1473] for [G1519] people [G2992] a famous , and [G2532] for [G1519] a boasting [G2745]. And [G2532] for [G1519] glory [G1391]; and [G2532] they did not [G3756] hearken to [G1522] me [G1473].
12: And [G2532] you will say [G2046] to [G4314] the [G3588] people [G2992] the [G3588] this word [G3056][G3778], Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel. Every [G3956] leather bag will be filled [G4137] of wine [G3631]. And [G2532] it will be if [G1437] they should say [G2036] to [G4314] you [G1473], Is it in not [G3361] knowing [G1097] that we will not [G3756] know [G1097] that [G3754] every [G3956] leather bag will be filled [G4137] with wine [G3631]?
13: And [G2532] you will say [G2046] to [G4314] them [G1473], Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], look [G2400], I [G1473] will fill [G4137] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] the [G3588] this land '[G1093][G3778], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir kings [G1473], the [G3588] [ones] sitting down [G2521] of sons [G5207] of the [G3588] David upon [G1909] the [G3588]ir throne [G2362][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] priests [G2409], and [G2532] the [G3588] prophets [G4396], and [G2532] the [G3588] Judah, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] Jerusalem with strong drink .
14: And [G2532] I will disperse [G1287] them [G1473], a man and [G2532] the [G3588] brother of him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir sons [G5207][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] same way [G1473]; I will not [G3756] long after them [G1971], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] I will not [G3756] spare [G5339], and [G2532] I will not [G3756] pity [G3627] at their ruin [G1312][G1473].
15: Hear , and [G2532] give ear [G1801], and [G2532] do not [G3361] be encouraged [G1869]! for [G3754] Boss '[G2962] spoke [G2980].
16: Give [G1325] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] your God '[G2316][G1473] glory [G1391]! before [G4253] the [G3588] darkening , and [G2532] before [G4253] the [G3588] stumbling [G4350] of the [G3588] your feet [G4228][G1473] upon [G1909] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735] dark [G4652]. And [G2532] you will await for [G1519] light [G5457], and [G2532] there [is [G1563] shadow [G4639] of death [G2288], and [G2532] they will be put [G5087] into [G1519] darkness [G4655].
17: But if [G1437][G1161] you should not [G3361] hearken , secretly will weep [G2799] the [G3588] your soul [G5590][G1473] from in front [G4383] of insolence [G5196]; and [G2532] will lead down [G2609] the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473] tears [G1144]. For [G3754] was broken up [G4937] the [G3588] flock [G4168] [of the] Boss '[G2962].
18: Say [G2036] to the [G3588] king ! and [G2532] to the [G3588] [ones] being in power , Be humbled [G5013], and [G2532] sit down [G2523]! for [G3754] was demolished [G2507] from your head [G2776][G1473] crown [G4735] of glory [G1391] your [G1473].
19: cities [G4172], the [G3588] [ones] towards [G4314] south [G3558] were closed up [G4788], and [G2532] there was not [G3756] the [G3588] [one] opening . Judah was resettled , they completed [G4931] in [G1722] it [G1473] resettlement a complete [G5046].
20: Lift up the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473], O Jerusalem, and [G2532] look [at] [G1492] the [G3588] [ones] coming [G2064] from north [G1005]! Where [G4226] is the [G3588] flock [G4168] which [G3739] was given [G1325] to you [G1473], sheep [G4263] of your glory [G1391][G1473]?
21: What [G5100] will you say [G2046] whenever [G3752] they should visit [G1980] you [G1473], and [G2532] you [G1473] taught [G1321] them [G1473] against [G1909] yourself [G1473] lessons for [G1519] rule ? will not [G3756] pangs [G5604] control [G2722] you [G1473] as [G2531] a woman [G1135] giving birth [G5088]?
22: And [G2532] if [G1437] you will say [G2036] in [G1722] the [G3588] your heart [G2588][G1473], Why [have [G1302] met up with me [G1473] these [things] [G3778]? On account of [G1223] the [G3588] magnitude [G4128] of the [G3588] your iniquity [G1473] were uncovered the [G3588] your posteriors [G1473], to make an example of [G3856] the [G3588] your heels [G4418][G1473].
23: If [G1487] will change Ethiopian the [G3588] his skin [G1192][G1473], and [G2532] leopard [G3917] the [G3588] her colors [G1473], then [G2532] you [G1473] will be able [G1410] good [G2095] to do [G4160] [while] learning [G3129] the [G3588] bad [G2556].
24: And [G2532] I scattered [G1289] them [G1473] as [G5613] sticks [G5434] being carried [G5342] by [G5259] wind into [G1519] a wilderness [G2048].
25: Thus [G3779] the [G3588] your lot [G2819][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] portion [G3310] for the [G3588] your resisting [G1473] me [G1473], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962]; as [G5613] you forgot [G1950] me [G1473] and [G2532] hoped [G1679] upon [G1909] lies [G5579].
26: And I [G2504] will uncover the [G3588] your rear [G3694][G1473] unto [G1909] the [G3588] face [G4383] of you [G1473], and [G2532] will be seen [G3708] the [G3588] your dishonor [G1473].
27: Your adultery [G3430][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your snorting [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] alienation of the [G3588] your harlotry [G4202][G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] hills [G1015], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] fields I have seen [G3708] the [G3588] your abominations [G1473]. Woe [G3759] to you [G1473], O Jerusalem, for [G3754] you were not cleansed [G3756][G2511] [to follow] after [G3694] me [G1473]. For how long [G2193][G5100] yet [G2089]?
