2 Kings Chapter 5 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] Naaman. the [G3588] ruler of for the [G3588]ce [G1411] of king of Syria was man a great [G3173] before [G1799] the [G3588] his boss [G2962][G1473], and [G2532] being an admired [G2296] person [G4383], for [G3754] through [G1223] him [G1473] BOSS gave [G1325][G2962] deliverance [G4991] [to the [G3588] Syria. And [G2532] the [G3588] man was mighty [G1415] in strength [G2479], [but] leprous [G3015].
2: And [G2532] Syrians went forth [G1831] in armed [bands , and [G2532] they captured from out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Israel young woman a small [G3397]; and [G2532] she was in the presence [G1799] of the [G3588] wife [G1135] of Naaman.
3: And [G2532] she said [G2036] to the [G3588] her boss lady [G2959][G1473], Ought that [G3784] the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] [was] in the presence [G1799] of the [G3588] prophet [G4396] in [G1722] Samaria, then [G5119] he will cure him [G1473] from the [G3588] his leprosy [G3014][G1473].
4: And [G2532] she entered [G1525] and [G2532] reported it [to the [G3588] her boss [G2962][G1438], and [G2532] she said [G2036], Thus [G3779] and [G2532] thus [G3779] says [G2980] the [G3588] young woman the [G3588] from out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Israel.
5: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] king of Syria], Come [G1204], enter [G1525]! and [G2532] I will send out [G1821] a scroll to [G4314] the [G3588] king of Israel. And [G2532] he went [G4198] and [G2532] took [G2983] in [G1722] the [G3588] his hand [G5495][G1473] ten [G1176] talents [G5007] of silver , and [G2532] six thousand [pieces] of gold [G5552], and [G2532] ten [G1176] changes of apparels [G4749].
6: And [G2532] he brought [G5342] the [G3588] scroll to [G4314] the [G3588] king of Israel, saying [G3004], And [G2532] now [G3568] when [G5613] ever should come [G2064] the [G3588] scroll this [G3778] to [G4314] you [G1473], look [G2400], I sent to [G4314] you [G1473] Naaman the [G3588] my servant [G1401][G1473], and [G2532] you will cure him [G1473] from the [G3588] his leprosy [G3014][G1473].
7: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] read the [G3588] king of Israel] the [G3588] scroll , that he tore [G1284] the [G3588] his garments [G2440][G1473], and [G2532] said [G2036], Am [G3361] I God '[G2316][G1473], the [G3588] [one] putting to death [G2289] and [G2532] restoring to life [G2227], that [G3754] this one [G3778] sends to [G4314] me [G1473] to cure a man from the [G3588] his leprosy [G3014][G1473]? For [G3754] besides [G4133], you know [G1097] and [G2532] see [G1492] that [G3754] this one makes an excuse [G3778] towards [G4314] me [G1473].
8: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] heard Elisha man of the [G3588] God '[G2316] that [G3754] tore [G1284] the [G3588] king the [G3588] his garments [G2440][G1473], that [G2532] he sent to [G4314] the [G3588] king of Israel, saying [G3004], Why [G2444] do you tear [G1284] the [G3588] your garments [G2440][G1473]? Let come [G2064] indeed [G1211] to [G4314] me [G1473] Naaman]! and [G2532] he will know [G1097] that [G3754] there is a prophet [G4396] in [G1722] Israel.
9: And [G2532] Naaman came [G2064] by [G1722] horse [G2462] and [G2532] chariot , and [G2532] he stood [G2476] at [G1909] the [G3588] door [G2374] of the [G3588] house [G3624] of Elisha.
10: And [G2532] Elisha sent to [G4314] him [G1473] a word-conveyer (messenger) ', saying [G3004], In going [G4198], bathe [G3068] in [G1722] the [G3588] Jordan seven times [G2034], and [G2532] will return [G1994] the [G3588] your flesh [G4561][G1473] to you [G1473], and [G2532] you will be cleansed [G2511].
11: And [G2532] Naaman was enraged [G2373], and [G2532] went forth , and [G2532] said [G2036], look [G2400], I said [G3004], he will come forth [G1831] to [G4314] me [G1473], and [G2532] he will stand [G2476] and [G2532] will call [G1941] in [G1722] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962] his God '[G2316][G1473], and [G2532] will place [G2007] the [G3588] his hand [G5495][G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] place [G5117], and [G2532] will cure the [G3588] leper [G3015].
12: Are not [G3780] good Abana and [G2532] Phaphar rivers [G4215] of Damascus] over [G5228] the [G3588] Jordan, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] waters [G5204] of Israel? will I not [G3780] go [G4198] bathe [G3068] in [G1722] them [G1473], and [G2532] be cleansed [G2511]? And [G2532] he turned aside [G1578], and [G2532] went forth in [G1722] rage [G2372].
13: And [G2532] approached [G1448] the [G3588] his servants [G3816][G1473], and [G2532] they said [G2980] to [G4314] him [G1473], If [G1487] a great [G3173] word [G3056] spoke [G2980] the [G3588] prophet [G4396] to [G4314] you [G1473], would you not [G3756] have done [G4160] in so far as [G2530] he said [G2036] to [G4314] you [G1473]? Bathe [G3068] and [G2532] be cleansed [G2511]!
14: And [G2532] Naaman went down [G2597], and [G2532] he submerged in [G1722] the [G3588] Jordan seven times [G2034], according to [G2596] the [G3588] word [G4487] of the [G3588] man of the [G3588] God '[G2316]. And [G2532] returned [G1994] the [G3588] his flesh [G4561][G1473] as [G5613] flesh [G4561] boy [G3808] of a small [G3397], and [G2532] he was cleansed [G2511].
15: And [G2532] he returned [G1994] to [G4314] the [G3588] man of the [G3588] God '[G2316], he [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] his camp [G3925][G1473]. And [G2532] he came [G2064], and [G2532] stood [G2476] before [G1799] him [G1473], and [G2532] said [G2036], look [G2400], now [G1211] I know [G1097] that [G3754] there not [G3756] is a God '[G2316] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093], [G3754] but only in [G1722] the [G3588] Israel. And [G2532] now [G3568], receive [G2983] a blessing [G2129] from [G3844] the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473]!
16: And [G2532] Elisha said [G2036], As BOSS lives [G2198][G2962] in whom [G3739] I stand [G3936] before [G1799] him [G1473], will [G1487] I take [it [G2983]? And [G2532] he pressed [G3849] him [G1473] to take [G2983], but [G2532] he resisted persuasion .
17: And [G2532] Naaman said [G2036], And [G2532] if not [G1508], let there be given [G1325] indeed [G1211] [to the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473] a cargo [G1117] team [G2201] of mules of land '[G1093], for [G3754] will not offer [G3756][G4160] any longer [G2089] the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473] a whole burnt-offering [G3646] and [G2532] sacrifice [G2378] gods '[G2316] to other [G2087]; but only to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] alone [G3441].
18: And [G2532] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] this word '[G3056][G3778], will deal kindly [G2433] with me [G1473] Boss '[G2962], [to the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] entering [G1531] of the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] into [G1519] house [G3624] of Rimmon to do obeisance [G4352] there [G1563], for [G3754] he [G1473] will rest [G1879] upon [G1909] the [G3588] my hand [G5495][G1473]. And [G2532] I will do obeisance [G4352] in [G1722] house [G3624] of Rimmon, in [G1722] the [G3588] his doing obeisance [G4352][G1473] in [G1519] house [G3624] of Rimmon. And [G2532] will deal kindly [G2433] with me [G1473] Boss '[G2962] [to the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473] over [G5228] the [G3588] this word '[G3056][G3778].
19: And [G2532] Elisha said [G2036] to [G4314] Naaman, Go [G4198] in [G1519] peace [G1515]! And [G2532] he went forth from him [G1473] into [G1519] Havratha the [G3588] land '[G1093].
20: And [G2532] said [G2036] Gehazi], the [G3588] servant [G3808] of Elisha the [G3588] man of the [G3588] God '[G2316], look [G2400], spared [G5339] the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] Naaman the [G3588] this Syrian [G3778], the [G3588] so as to not take [G3361][G2983] from [G1537] his hand [G5495][G1473] of what [G3739] he brought [G5342]. As lives [G2198] Boss '[G2962], that [G3754] I will [G1508] run [G5143] after [G3694] him [G1473], and [G2532] I will take [G2983] something [G5100] from [G3844] him [G1473].
21: And [G2532] Gehazi pursued [G1377] after [G3694] the [G3588] Naaman. And [G2532] saw [G1492] him [G1473] Naaman] running [G5143] after [G3694] him [G1473], and [G2532] he leaped down from the [G3588] chariot for [G1519] meeting him [G1473]. And [G2532] he said [G2036], Peace [G1515].
22: And [G2532] Gehazi said [G2036], Peace [G1515]. the [G3588] My boss [G2962][G1473] has sent me [G1473], saying [G3004], look [G2400], now [G3568] there came [G2064] to [G4314] me [G1473] two [G1417] young men [G3808] from out of [G1537] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Ephraim, from the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] prophets [G4396]. Give [G1325] indeed [G1211] to them [G1473] a talent [G5007] of silver and [G2532] two [G1417] changes of apparel [G4749]!
23: And [G2532] Naaman said [G2036], Take [G2983] two [G1417] talents [G5007] of silver ! And [G2532] he forced him [G1473], and [G2532] he took [G1325] to him [G1473] two [G1417] talents [G5007] of silver in [G1722] two [G1417] purses , and [G2532] two [G1417] changes of apparel [G4749]. And [G2532] he gave [G1325] unto [G1909] two [G1417] servants [G3808] of him '[G1473], and [G2532] they carried them in front of [G1715] him [G1473].
24: And [G2532] he came [G2064] to [G1519] the [G3588] a dark [place] [G4652], and [G2532] he took [G2983] from [G1537] the [G3588]ir hands [G5495][G1473], and [G2532] he placed them [G3908] in [G1722] house [G3624], and [G2532] sent out [G1821] the [G3588] men , and [G2532] they left .
25: And [G2532] he [G1473] entered [G1525] and [G2532] stood [G3936] before [G4314] the [G3588] his boss [G2962][G1473]. And [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473] Elisha]. From what place [did you come from [G4159] Gehazi? And [G2532] Gehazi said [G2036], has not [G3756] gone [G4198] the [G3588] Your servant [G1401][G1473] here or there .
26: And [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473] Elisha], [Did] not [G3780] the [G3588] my heart [G2588][G1473] go [G4198] with [G3326] you [G1473] when [G3753] turned [G1994] the [G3588] man from the [G3588] his chariot [G1473] for [G1519] meeting you [G1473]? And [G2532] now [G3568], you took [G2983] the [G3588] silver , and [G2532] the [G3588] garments [G2440], and [G2532] you will take [G2983] with [G1722] it [G1473] gardens [G2779], and [G2532] olive groves [G1638], and [G2532] vineyards , and [G2532] flocks [G4168], and [G2532] herds , and [G2532] bondmen [G1401] and [G2532] bondwomen [G1399].
27: And [G2532] the [G3588] leprosy [G3014] of Naaman will cleave [G2853] to [G1722] you [G1473], and [G2532] among [G1722] the [G3588] your seed [G4690][G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `. And [G2532] he went forth [G1831] from [G1537] his face [G4383][G1473] being leprous as [G5616] snow [G5510].
