Numbers Chapter 25 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] Israel rested up [G2647] in [G1722] Shittim, and [G2532] profaned the [G3588] people [G2992] to fornicate [G1608] with [G1519] the [G3588] daughters [G2364] of Moab.
2: And [G2532] they called [G2564] them [G1473] unto [G1519] the [G3588] sacrifices [G2378] of the [G3588]ir idols [G1497][G1473], and [G2532] ate [G2068] the [G3588] people [G2992] the [G3588] of their sacrifices [G2378][G1473], and [G2532] they did obeisance to [G4352] the [G3588]ir idols [G1497][G1473].
3: And [G2532] Israel was initiated [G5055] the [G3588] to Baal-peor; and [G2532] was provoked to anger [G3710] in rage [G2372] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] with Israel.
4: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] the [G3588] to Moses, Take [G2983] all [G3956] the [G3588] heads of the [G3588] people [G2992], and [G2532] make an example [G3856] of them [G1473] [for the] Boss '[G2962] over against [G2713] the [G3588] sun [G2246]! and [G2532] will turn away anger [G3709] of rage [G2372] [of the] Boss '[G2962] from Israel.
5: And [G2532] Moses said [G2036] to the [G3588] tribes [G5443] of Israel, Let kill each [G1538] the [one] the [G3588] of his family [G3609][G1473] the [G3588] being initiated [G5055] the [G3588] to Baal-Peor!
6: And [G2532] look [G2400], a man of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel coming [G2064], led forward [G4317] the [G3588] brother of him [G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588] Midianitish [woman] before [G1726] Moses, and [G2532] before [G1726] all [G3956] congregation [G4864] of sons [G5207] of Israel. 8: he entered [G1525] after [G3694] the [G3588] Israelitish man the [G3588] into [G1519] the [G3588] furnace [G2575], and [G2532] he pierced both the [G3588][G5037] Israelitish man the [G3588], and [G2532] the [G3588] woman [G1135] through [G1223] the [G3588] her womb [G3388][G1473]; and [G2532] ceased [G3973] the [G3588] calamity [G4127] from the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel.
9: And [G2532] were [G1096] the [G3588] [ones] having died [G2348] by [G1722] the [G3588] calamity [G4127] four [G5064] and [G2532] twenty [G1501] thousand [G5505].
10: And [G2532] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Moses, saying [G3004],
11: Phinehas, the [G3588] son [G5207] of Eleazar, son [G5207] of Aaron the [G3588] priest [G2409], caused to cease [G2664] the [G3588] my rage [G2372][G1473] from sons [G5207] of Israel, in [G1722] the [G3588] my being jealous [G2206][G1473] in the [G3588] zeal [G2205] for [G1722] them [G1473]; and [G2532] I did not [G3756] completely consume the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel in [G1722] the [G3588] my zeal [G2205][G1473].
12: Thus [G3779] say [G2036]! look [G2400], I [G1473] make [G1325] with him [G1473] my covenant [G1242][G1473] of peace [G1515];
13: and [G2532] it will be to him [G1473] and [G2532] [to the [G3588] his seed [G4690][G1473] after [G3326] him [G1473] a covenant [G1242] priesthood [G2405] of an of the term (age) ', because he was jealous [G2206] for the [G3588] his God '[G2316][G1473], and [G2532] he atoned for [G4012] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel.
14: And the [G3588][G1161] name [G3686] of the [G3588] Israelitish man the [G3588]the [G3588] being struck [G4141], who [G3739] was stricken [G4141] with [G3326] the [G3588] Midianitish [woman], [was] Zimri son [G5207] of Salu, ruler of house [G3624] of family [G3965] of Simeon.
15: And [G2532] the name [G3686] of the [G3588] Midianitish woman [G1135] the [G3588]the [G3588] being struck [G4141], [was] Cozbi, daughter [G2364] of Zur, a ruler of tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] of Ommoth; of house [G3624] of family [G3965] it is of the [G3588] [ones] of Midian.
16: And [G2532] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Moses, saying [G3004], Speak [G2980] to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel! saying [G3004],
17: Hate the [G3588] Midianites, and [G2532] strike [G3960] them [G1473]!
18: For [G3754] are hating you [G1473] they [G1473] with [G1722] deceit , [with] as many [things] [G3745] they used deceit [G1387] against you [G1473] through [G1223] Peor, even [G2532] through [G1223] Cozbi, daughter [G2364] of ruler of Midian, their sister [G1473], the [G3588] [one] being struck [G4141] in [G1722] the [G3588] day [G2250] of the [G3588] calamity [G4127] on account of [G1223] Peor.
