1: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] when [G3753] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) finished [G5055] the [G3588] all [G3956] the [G3588] words [G3056] these [G3778], he said [G2036] [to the [G3588] his trainees '[G3101][G1473],
2: You know [G1492] that [G3754] after [G3326] two [G1417] days [G2250] the [G3588] passover [G3957] takes place [G1096], and [G2532] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man is delivered up [G3860] for [G1519] the [G3588] crucifying [G4717].
3: Then [G5119] were gathered together [G4863] the [G3588] chief priests , and [G2532] the [G3588] scholars (scribes) '[G1122] (soferim [H5613]), and [G2532] the [G3588] elders [G4245] of the [G3588] people [G2992] in [G1519] the [G3588] courtyard of the [G3588] chief priest , of the [G3588] [one] being called [G3004] Caiaphas.
4: And [G2532] they were advising [G4823] that [G2443] the [G3588]y should seize Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) [G2902] by treachery [G1388], and [G2532] should kill [him .
5: But they said [G3004][G1161], Not [G3361] during [G1722] the [G3588] holiday [G1859], that [G2443] should not [G3361] a tumult [G2351] take place [G1096] among [G1722] the [G3588] people [G2992].
6: the [G3588] And [G1161] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) being [G1096] in [G1722] Bethany, in [G1722] house [G3614] of Simon the [G3588] leper [G3015],
7: there came forward [G4334] to him [G1473] a woman [G1135] an alabaster [flask of a perfumed liquid [G3464] having [G2192] of a heavy price , and [G2532] she poured it down [G2708] upon [G1909] the [G3588] his head [G2776][G1473], as he reclined .
8: seeing [it [G1492] And [G1161] the [G3588] his disciples [G3101][G1473], were indignant , saying [G3004], For [G1519] what [reason [G5100] the [G3588] [is] this loss [G3778]?
9: would be able [G1410] For [G1063] this [G3778] the [G3588] perfumed liquid [G3464] to be sold [G4097] for much [G4183], and [G2532] to be given [G1325] to the [G3588] [ones] begging [G4434].
10: But knowing [G1097][G1161], the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036] to them [G1473], Why [G5100] troubles [G2873] do you make [G3930] to the [G3588] woman [G1135]? work [G2041] for [G1063] a good [G2570] she worked [G2038] for [G1519] me [G1473].
11: For at all times [G3842][G1063] the [G3588] [ones] begging [G4434] you have [G2192] with [G3326] yourselves [G1438]; but me [G1473][G1161] you do not [G3756] at all times [G3842] have [G2192].
12: laying For [G1063] this [woman [G3778] the [G3588] this perfumed liquid [G3464][G3778] upon [G1909] the [G3588] body [G4983] of me [G1473], so [G4314] the [G3588] to embalm [G1779] me [G1473] did [G4160].

14: Then [G5119] having gone [G4198], one [G1520] of the [G3588] twelve [G1427], the [G3588] [one] being called [G3004] Judas Iscariot, to [G4314] the [G3588] chief priest ,
15: said [G2036], What [G5100] do you want [G2309] to give me [G1473][G1325], and I [G2504] to you [G1473] will deliver him up [G3860][G1473]? And they the [G3588][G1161] established [G2476] to him [G1473] thirty [G5144] silver [pieces .
16: And [G2532] from then [G5119] he sought [G2212] an opportune time [G2120] that [G2443] he should deliver him up [G1473][G3860].
17: And on the [G3588][G1161] first [day [G4413] of the [G3588] unleavened [breads , came forward [G4334] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] [to the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), saying [G3004] to him [G1473], Where [G4226] do you want [G2309] we should prepare [G2090] for you [G1473] to eat [G2068] the [G3588] passover [G3957]?
18: And he the [G3588][G1161] said [G2036], Go [G5217] into [G1519] the [G3588] city [G4172], to [G4314] the [G3588] a certain person [G1170], and [G2532] say [G2036] to him [G1473]! the [G3588] Teacher [G1320] ["Rabbi [G4461]" John 1:38] says [G3004], the [G3588] My time [G2540][G1473] is near [G1451]; with [G4314] you [G1473] I will observe [G4160] the [G3588] passover [G3957] with [G3326] the [G3588] my trainees '[G3101][G1473].

20: And evening [G3798][G1161] becoming [G1096], he reclined with [G3326] the [G3588] twelve [G1427].
21: And [G2532] [during] their eating [G2068][G1473] he said [G2036], Amen I say [G3004] to you [G1473], that [G3754] one [G1520] of [G1537] you [G1473] will deliver me up [G3860][G1473].
22: And [G2532] fretting [G3076] exceedingly [G4970], they began to say [G3004] to him [G1473], each [G1538] of them [G1473], By no means [G3385] I [G1473] am [he , O Boss '[G2962].
23: And he the [G3588][G1161] responding said [G2036], the [G3588] [one] dipping [G1686] with [G3326] me [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] saucer [G5165] the [G3588] hand [G5495], this one [G3778] will deliver me up [G1473][G3860].
24: Indeed the [G3588][G3303] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man goes away [G5217], as [G2531] it has been written [G1125] concerning [G4012] him [G1473]; but woe [G3759][G1161] [to the [G3588] that man [G1565] by [G1223] whom [G3739] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man is delivered up [G3860]. It was good [G2570] to him [G1473] if [G1487] was not [G3756] born [G1080] the [G3588] that man [G1565].
25: And responding [G1161] Judas the [G3588] [one] delivering him up [G3860][G1473], said [G2036], Not [G3385] I [G1473] am [he , Rabbi [G4461] ["Teacher [G1320]" John 1:38]? He says [G3004] to him [G1473], You [G1473] said [it [G2036].
26: eating [G2068] And [G1161] [during] their [G1473], Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) having taken [G2983] the [G3588] [G3588] bread , and [G2532] having blessed [G2127], broke it [G2806] and [G2532] gave it [G1325] to the [G3588] trainees '[G3101], and [G2532] said [G2036], Take [G2983]! eat [G2068]! this [G3778] is the [G3588] body [G4983] of me [G1473].
27: And [G2532] having taken [G2983] the [G3588] cup [G4221], and [G2532] giving thanks [G2168], he gave [G1325] to them [G1473], saying [G3004], You drink [G4095] of [G1537] it [G1473] all [G3956]!
28: For this [G3778][G1063] is the [G3588] my blood [G1473], the [blood the [G3588] of the [G3588] new [G2537] covenant [G1242], the [G3588] [one] for [G4012] many [G4183], being poured out [G1632] for [G1519] a release of sins .
29: And I say [G3004][G1161] to you [G1473], that [G3754] in no way will I drink [G4095] from now on from [G1537] this [G3778], of the [G3588]fspring [G1081] of the [G3588] grapevine , until [G2193] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565], whenever [G3752] I should drink it [G1473][G4095] with [G3326] you [G1473] new [G2537] in [G1722] the [G3588] government ', the one of the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473].
30: And [G2532] having sung praise [G5214], they went forth [G1831] unto [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] of the [G3588] olives [G1636].
31: Then [G5119] says [G3004] to them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), All [G3956] you [G1473] will be stumbled [G4624] by [G1722] me [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] this night [G3571][G3778]. For it is written [G1125][G1063], I will strike [G3960] the [G3588] shepherd [G4166], and [G2532] will disperse [G1287] the [G3588] sheep [G4263] of the [G3588] flock [G4167].
32: And after [G3326][G1161] the [G3588] my rising [G1453][G1473], I will go before [G4254] you [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] Galilee.
33: And responding [G1161] the [G3588] Peter said [G2036] to him [G1473], If even [G1499] all [G3956] were to stumble [G4624] in [G1722] you [G1473], I [G1473] at no time [G3763] will be made to stumble [G4624].
34: said [G5346] to him [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), Amen I say [G3004] to you [G1473], that [G3754] in [G1722] this [G3778] the [G3588] night [G3571], before [G4250] a rooster calls out [G5455], three times [G5151] you will totally reject me [G1473].
35: says [G3004] to him [G1473] the [G3588] Peter], And if [G2579] it should be necessary [G1163] for me [G1473] with [G4862] you [G1473] to die , in no way will I totally reject you [G1473]. In like manner [G3668] also [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] spoke [G2036].
36: Then [G5119] comes [G2064] with [G3326] them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) unto [G1519] a place [G5564] being called [G3004], Gethsemane. And [G2532] he says [G3004] to the [G3588] trainees '[G3101], sit down [G2523] here ! until [G2193] of which [time] [G3739] going forth I should pray [G4336] there [G1563]
37: And [G2532] taking with him [G3880] the [G3588] Peter and [G2532] the [G3588] two [G1417] sons [G5207] of Zebedee, he began to fret [G3076] and [G2532] be anxious .
38: Then [G5119] he says [G3004] to them [G1473], is dejected [G4036] the [G3588] Soul [G5590] of me [G1473] unto [G2193] death [G2288]; remain [G3306] here [G5602] and [G2532] be vigilant [G1127] with [G3326] me [G1473]!
39: And [G2532] having gone forth [G4281] a little [G3397], he fell [G4098] upon [G1909] his face [G4383][G1473], praying [G4336], and [G2532] saying [G3004], O father [G3962] of me [G1473], if [G1487] it is possible [G1415], let pass [G3928] from me [G1473] the [G3588] this cup [G4221][G3778]! except [G4133] not [G3756] as [G5613] I [G1473] want [G2309], but as [G5613] you [G1473].
40: And [G2532] he comes [G2064] to [G4314] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101], and [G2532] he finds [G2147] them [G1473] sleeping [G2518]. And [G2532] he says [G3004] [to the [G3588] Peter, So [G3779] were you not able [G3756][G2480] one [G1520] hour [G5610] to be vigilant [G1127] with [G3326] me [G1473]?
41: Be vigilant [G1127] and [G2532] pray [G4336]! that [G2443] you should not enter [G3361][G1525] into [G1519] test [G3986]. For the [G3588][G3303] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] [is] eager [G4289], but the [G3588][G1161] flesh [G4561] weak .
42: Again [G3825] a second [time] [G1537][G1208], having gone forth he prayed [G4336], saying [G3004], O father [G3962] of me [G1473], if [G1487] it is not [G3756] possible [G1410] for this [G3778] the [G3588] cup [G4221] to pass [G3928] from me [G1473], except that [G1437][G3361] I drink it [G1473][G4095], let take place [G1096] the [G3588] your will [G2307][G1473]!
43: And [G2532] having come [G2064] he finds [G2147] them [G1473] again [G3825] sleeping [G2518]; were for [G1063] their [G1473] the [G3588] eyes [G3788] weighed down .
44: And [G2532] allowing them [G1473], going forth again [G3825] he prayed [G4336] a third [time] [G1537][G5154], the [G3588] same [G1473] word [G3056] having said [G2036],
45: Then [G5119] he comes [G2064] to [G4314] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] of him [G1473], and [G2532] he says [G3004] to them [G1473], Sleep [G2518] the [G3588] remaining [G3062], and [G2532] rest ! look [G2400], approaches [G1448] the [G3588] hour [G5610], and [G2532] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man is delivered up [G3860] into [G1519] hands [G5495] of sinners .
46: Arise [G1453]! we convey ' [on]. Look [G2400], approaches [G1448] the [G3588] [one] delivering me up [G3860][G1473].
47: And [G2532] yet while [G2089] he [G1473] was speaking [G2980], look [G2400], Judas one [G1520] of the [G3588] twelve [G1427] came [G2064], and [G2532] with [G3326] him [G1473] crowd [G3793] a great [G4183] with [G3326] swords [G3162] and [G2532] wood [spears [G3586], from the [G3588] chief priests and [G2532] elders [G4245] of the [G3588] people [G2992].
48: And the [G3588] [one] [G1161] delivering him up [G3860][G1473] gave [G1325] to them [G1473] a sign [G4592], saying [G3004], Whom [G3739] ever I should kiss [G5368], it is he [G1473]; seize [G2902] him [G1473]!
49: And [G2532] immediately [G2112] having come forward [G4334] [to the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), he said [G2036], Hail [G5463], Rabbi [G4461] ["Teacher [G1320]" John 1:38]! And [G2532] he kissed [G2705] him [G1473].
50: the [G3588] And [G1161] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036] to him [G1473], Companion [G2083], for what reason [G1909][G3739] are you at hand [G3918]? Then [G5119] having come forward [G4334], they put [G1911] the [G3588] hands [G5495] upon [G1909] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), and [G2532] seized [G2902] him [G1473].
51: And [G2532] look [G2400], one [G1520] of the [G3588] [ones] with [G3326] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) stretched out [G1614] the [G3588] hand [G5495], [and] drew up the [G3588] his sword [G3162][G1473], and [G2532] striking [G3960] the [G3588] servant [G1401] of the [G3588] chief priest , he removed of him '[G1473] the [G3588] ear [G5621].
52: Then [G5119] says [G3004] to him [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), Return your [G1473] the [G3588] sword [G3162] unto [G1519] the [G3588] place [G5117] of it [G1473]! for all [G3956][G1063] the [G3588] [ones] taking [G2983] sword [G3162] by [G1722] a sword [G3162] will die .
53: Or [G2228] do you think [G1380] that [G3754] I am not able [G3756][G1410] just now to call for the aid [G3870] of the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], and [G2532] he will stand by [G3936] me [G1473] more [G4183] than [G2228] twelve [G1427] legions [G3003] of word-conveyers (messengers) '?
54: How [G4459] then [G3767] should be fulfilled [G4137] the [G3588] scriptures [G1124], that [G3754] thus [G3779] it must [G1163] take place [G1096]?
55: In [G1722] that [G1565] the [G3588] hour [G5610] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036] the [G3588] to the [G3588] crowds [G3793], As [G5613] against [G1909] a robber [G3027] do you come forth [G1831] with [G3326] swords [G3162] and [G2532] wood [spears [G3586] to seize [G4815] me [G1473]? Daily [G2596][G2250] with [G4314] you [G1473] I sat [G2516] teaching [G1321] in [G1722] the [G3588] temple [G2413], and [G2532] you did not [G3756] seize [G2902] me [G1473].
56: But this [G3778][G1161] entire [thing] [G3650] has happened [G1096], that [G2443] should be fulfilled [G4137] the [G3588] scriptures [G1124] of the [G3588] prophets [G4396]. Then [G5119] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] all [G3956] leaving him [G1473], fled [G5343].
57: And the [G3588] [ones] [G1161] seizing [G2902] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) took [him] away to [G4314] Caiaphas the [G3588] chief priest , where [G3699] the [G3588] scholars (scribes) '[G1122] (soferim [H5613]) and [G2532] the [G3588] elders [G4245] were gathered together [G4863].
58: the [G3588] And [G1161] Peter followed him [G1473] from far off [G3113], unto [G2193] the [G3588] courtyard of the [G3588] chief priest . And [G2532] entering [G1525] inside [G2080] he sat down [G2521] with [G3326] of the [G3588]ficers [G5257] to see [G1492] the [G3588] conclusion [G5056].
59: And the [G3588][G1161] chief priests , and [G2532] the [G3588] elders [G4245], and [G2532] the [G3588] sanhedrin [G4892] entire [G3650] sought [G2212] lying witness [G5577] against [G2596] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), so that [G3704] they should kill [G2289] him [G1473];
60: and [G2532] they did not [G3756] find [reason [G2147]; and [G2532] many [G4183] lying witnesses [G5575] having come forward [G4334] did not [G3756] find [reason [G2147]. But afterwards [G5305][G1161] having come forward [G4334] two [G1417] lying witnesses [G5575],
61: they said [G2036], This one [G3778] said [G5346], I am able [G1410] to destroy [G2647] the [G3588] temple [G3485] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], and [G2532] in [G1223] three [G5140] days [G2250] to rebuild [G3618] it [G1473].
62: And [G2532] having risen up , the [G3588] chief priest said [G2036] to him [G1473], Nothing [G3762] you answer ? What [G5100] these [G3778] you [G1473] do bear witness against [G2649]?
63: the [G3588] But [G1161] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) kept silent [G4623]. And [G2532] responding the [G3588] chief priest said [G2036] to him [G1473], I adjure you [G1844][G1473] according to [G2596] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] [one] living [G2198], that [G2443] to us [G1473] you should say [G2036] if [G1487] you [G1473] are the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547], the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
64: says [G3004] to him [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), You [G1473] said [it [G2036]. Furthermore [G4133] I say [G3004] to you [G1473], From now you will see [G3708] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man sitting down [G2521] at [G1537] right [hand] [G1188] of the [G3588] power [G1411], and [G2532] coming [G2064] upon [G1909] the [G3588] clouds [G3507] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772].
65: Then [G5119] the [G3588] chief priest tore [G1284] the [G3588] his garments [G2440][G1473], saying [G3004] that [G3754], He blasphemed ; what [G5100] still [G2089] need [G5532] do we have [G2192] of witnesses [G3144]? Look [here]! [G2396] now [G3568] you heard the [G3588] his blasphemy [G1473].
66: What [G5100] [do] you [G1473] think [G1380]? And they the [G3588][G1161] responding , said [G2036], liable [G1777] of death [G2288] He is .
67: Then [G5119] they spat [G1716] in [G1519] the [G3588] his face [G4383][G1473]; and [G2532] buffeted [G2852] him [G1473], and some the [G3588][G1161] slapped [G4474],
68: saying [G3004], Prophesy [G4395] to us [G1473], Anointed "'[G5547]! Who [G5100] is the [G3588] [one] hitting [G3817] you [G1473]?
69: the [G3588] And [G1161] Peter outside [G1854] was sitting [G2521] in [G1722] the [G3588] courtyard . And [G2532] came forward [G4334] to him [G1473] one [G1520] maidservant [G3814], saying [G3004], Even [G2532] you [G1473] were with [G3326] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) the [G3588] Galilean.
70: But he the [G3588] denied before [G1715] all [G3956], saying [G3004], I do not [G3756] know [G1492] what [G5100] you say [G3004].
71: coming forth [G1831] And [G1161] in of him '[G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] vestibule [G4440], looked [at] [G1492] him [G1473] another . And [G2532] he says [G3004] to them the [G3588]re [G1563], Even [G2532] this one [G3778] was with [G3326] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) the [G3588] Nazarene.
72: And [G2532] again [G3825] he denied with [G3326] an oath [G3727], that [G3754], I do not know [G3756][G1492] the [G3588] man .
73: after [G3326] a little [while [G3397] And [G1161] having come forward [G4334] the [G3588] [ones] standing [G2476] said [G2036] [to the [G3588] Peter, Truly even [G2532] you [G1473] of [G1537] them [G1473] are ; for even [G2532][G1063] the [G3588] your speech [G2981][G1473] manifest [G1212] makes you [G1473][G4160].
74: Then [G5119] he began to bind by a curse [G2653] and [G2532] swear by an oath [G3660] that [G3754], I have not known [G3756][G1492] the [G3588] man . And [G2532] immediately [G2112] a rooster called out [G5455].
75: And [G2532] Peter remembered [G3403] the [G3588] [G3588] saying [G4487] of Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), having said [G2046] to him [G1473] that [G3754], Before [G4250] a rooster calls out [G5455], three times [G5151] you will totally reject me [G1473]. And [G2532] having gone forth [G1831] outside [G1854] he wept [G2799] bitterly [G4090].
