Matthew Chapter 10 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] having called on [G4341] the [G3588] twelve [G1427] trainees '[G3101] of him '[G1473], he gave [G1325] to them [G1473] authority [G1849] of blowing airs (ghosts) '[G4151] unclean , so as to [G5620] cast them out [G1544][G1473], and [G2532] to cure [G2323] every [G3956] disease [G3554] and [G2532] every [G3956] infirmity [G3119].
2: And of the [G3588] twelve [G1427] sent ones (apostles) ', the [G3588] names [G3686] are these [G3778]; first [G4413] Simon the [G3588] [one] being called [G3004] Peter, and [G2532] Andrew the [G3588] brother of him [G1473]; James the [G3588] [son of the [G3588] Zebedee, and [G2532] John the [G3588] brother of him [G1473];
3: Philip and [G2532] Bartholomew; Thomas, and [G2532] Matthew the [G3588] tax collector [G5057]; James the [G3588] [son] of the [G3588] Alphaeus, and [G2532] Lebbaeus the [G3588] [one] called [G1941] Thaddaeus;
4: Simon the [G3588] Canaanite, and [G2532] Judas Iscariot, the [G3588] [one] also [G2532] having delivered him up [G3860][G1473].
5: These [G3778], the [G3588] twelve [G1427], Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) sent the [G3588] [ones] , exhorting [G3853] them [G1473], saying [G3004], Unto [G1519] way [G3598] of tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] you should not [G3361] go forth , and [G2532] unto [G1519] a city [G4172] of Samaritans you should not [G3361] enter [G1525].
6: But you go [G4198][G1161] rather [G3123] to [G4314] the [G3588] sheep [G4263] the [G3588] lost of house [G3624] of Israel!
7: And going [G4198], proclaim [G2784]! saying [G3004] that [G3754], approaches [G1448] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772].
8: Ones being weak cure [G2323]! Dead [G3498] raise up [G1453]! Leprous [G3015] cleanse [G2511]! Demons [G1140] cast out [G1544]! Freely [G1431] you received [G2983], freely [G1431] you give [G1325]!
9: You should not [G3361] acquire [G2932] gold [G5557], nor [G3366] silver , nor [G3366] brass [coin [G5475] in [G1519] the [G3588] your belts [G2223][G1473],
10: nor [G3361] a provision bag [G4082] for [G1519] way [G3598], nor [G3366] two [G1417] inner garments [G5509], nor [G3366] sandals [G5266], nor [G3366] rods [G4464]; worth for [G1063] the [G3588] worker [G2040] the [G3588] his provision [G5160][G1473] is .
11: And into whatever [G1519][G3739][G1161] city [G4172] or [G2228] town [G2968] you should enter [G1525], inquire diligently [G1833] who [G5100] in [G1722] it [G1473] is worthy , and there [G2546] remain [G3306] until [G2193] whenever you should go forth [G1831]!
12: And entering [G1525][G1161] into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3614], greet it [G1473]!
13: And [G2532] if [G1437] indeed [G3303] might be the [G3588] house [G3614] worthy , let come [G2064] the [G3588] your peace [G1515][G1473] upon [G1909] it [G1473]! But if [G1437][G1161] it might not be [G3361] worthy , the [G3588] your peace [G1515][G1473] to [G4314] you [G1473] let return [G1994]!
14: And [G2532] who [G3739] ever [G1437] should not [G3361] receive [G1209] you [G1473], nor [G3366] should hear the [G3588] your words [G3056][G1473], in going forth from [G1831] the [G3588] residence [G3614] or [G2228] the [G3588] that city [G4172][G1565], shake off [G1621] the [G3588] dust [G2868] of the [G3588] your feet [G4228][G1473]!
15: Amen I say [G3004] to you [G1473], More endurable will it be to land '[G1093] of Sodom and [G2532] Gomorrah in [G1722] day [G2250] of judgment [G2920], than [G2228] [to the [G3588] that city [G4172][G1565].
16: look [G2400], I [G1473] send you [G1473] as [G5613] sheep [G4263] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of wolves [G3074]. Be [G1096] then [G3767] skilled [G5429] as [G5613] the [G3588] serpents [G3789], and [G2532] unmixed as [G5613] the [G3588] doves [G4058]!
17: And take heed [G4337][G1161] off the [G3588] men ! for they will deliver [G3860][G1063] you [G1473] unto [G1519] sanhedrins [G4892], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir synagogues [G4864][G1473] they will whip [G3146] you [G1473].
18: And [G2532] before [G1909] governors [G2232] also [G1161] and [G2532] kings you will be conveyed ' because of [G1752] me [G1473], for [G1519] a testimony [G3142] to them [G1473] and [G2532] to the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484].
19: And whenever [G3752][G1161] they deliver [G3860] you [G1473], be not anxious [G3361][G3309] how [G4459] or [G2228] what [G5100] you should speak [G2980]; for it will be given [G1325][G1063] to you [G1473] in [G1722] that [G1565] the [G3588] hour [G5610] what [G5100] you should speak [G2980];
20: not [G3756] for [G1063] you [G1473] are the [G3588] [ones] speaking [G2980], but the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of the [G3588] father [G3962] of you [G1473], the [G3588] [one] speaking [G2980] in [G1722] you [G1473].
21: will deliver up [G3860] But [G1161] brother brother unto [G1519] death [G2288], and [G2532] a father [G3962] a child [G5043]. And [G2532] will rise up [G1881] children [G5043] against [G1909] parents [G1118], and [G2532] will put them to death [G2289][G1473].
22: And [G2532] you will be detested [G3404] by [G5259] all [G3956] on account of [G1223] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473]. But the [G3588] [one] [G1161] remaining [G5278] unto [G1519] completion [G5056], this one [G3778] will be delivered [G4982].
23: But whenever [G3752][G1161] they should pursue [G1377] you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] this city [G4172][G3778], flee [G5343] unto [G1519] the [G3588] other ! For amen [G1063] I say [G3004] to you [G1473], In no way should you finish [G5055] the [G3588] cities [G4172] of the [G3588] Israel, until [G2193] whenever should come [G2064] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man .
24: not [G3756] is An trainee '[G3101] above [G5228] the [G3588] Teacher [G1320] ["Rabbi [G4461]" John 1:38], nor [G3761] a servant [G1401] above [G5228] the [G3588] his boss [G2962][G1473].
25: Sufficient to the [G3588] trainee '[G3101] that [G2443] he should become [G1096] as [G5613] the [G3588] his Teacher [G1320] ["Rabbi [G4461]" John 1:38][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] servant [G1401] as [G5613] the [G3588] his boss [G2962][G1473]. If [G1487] the [G3588] boss of the house [G3617] Beelzebub they invoked , how much [G4214] more [G3123] the [G3588] [ones] of his house [G3615]?
26: You should not [G3361] then [G3767] fear [G5399] them [G1473]; for nothing [G3762][G1063] is being covered [G2572], which [G3739] will not [G3756] be uncovered ; and [G2532] hidden [G2927], which [G3739] will not [G3756] be known [G1097].
27: What [G3739] I say [G3004] to you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] darkness [G4653], you speak [G2036] in [G1722] the [G3588] light [G5457]! and [G2532] what [G3739] in [G1519] the [G3588] ear [G3775] you hear , proclaim [G2784] upon [G1909] the [G3588] roofs [G1430]!
28: And [G2532] [Do] not [G3361] fear [G5399] off the [G3588] [ones] killing the [G3588] body [G4983], the [G3588] but [G1161] soul [G5590] not [G3361] being able [G1410] to kill ! But you fear [G5399][G1161] rather [G3123] the [G3588] [one] being able [G1410] both [G2532] soul [G5590] and [G2532] body [G4983] to destroy in [G1722] Gehenna [G1067]!
29: Are not [G3780] two [G1417] sparrows [G4765] an assarion sold for [G4453]? and [G2532] one [G1520] of [G1537] them [G1473] will not [G3756] fall [G4098] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] without the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473].
30: But you [G1473][G1161], even [G2532] the [G3588] hairs [G2359] of the [G3588] head [G2776] all [G3956] counted are .
31: Do not [G3361] then [G3767] fear [G5399]! [than] many [G4183] sparrows [G4765] you differ [G1308][G1473].
32: Every one [G3956] then [G3767] whoever [G3748] will acknowledge [G3670] [being] mine [G1722][G1473] before [G1715] the [G3588] men , I will acknowledge [G3670], even myself [G2504], him [G1722][G1473] before [G1715] the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], of the [G3588] [one] in [G1722] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772].
33: And whoever [G3748][G1161] should deny me [G1473] before [G1715] the [G3588] men , I will deny him [G1473], even myself [G2504], before [G1715] the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], the [G3588] [one] in [G1722] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772].
34: You should not [G3361] think [G3543] that [G3754] I came [G2064] to cast peace [G1515] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]; I came not [G3756][G2064] to cast peace [G1515], but a sword [G3162].
35: For I came [G2064][G1063] to cleave [G1369] a man against [G2596] the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] a daughter [G2364] against [G2596] the [G3588] her mother [G3384][G1473], and [G2532] a daughter-in-law [G3565] against [G2596] the [G3588] her mother-in-law [G3994][G1473];
36: and [G2532] enemies [G2190] of the [G3588] man [are] the [G3588] [ones] of his own house [G3615][G1473].
37: the [one] [G3588] being fond of [G5368] a father [G3962] or [G2228] mother [G3384] above [G5228] me [G1473], not [G3756] is worthy of me [G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] being fond of [G5368] a son [G5207] or [G2228] daughter [G2364] above [G5228] me [G1473], not [G3756] is worthy of me [G1473].
38: And [G2532] one who [G3739] does not [G3756] take [G2983] the [G3588] his cross [G4716][G1473] and [G2532] follow after [G3694] me [G1473], not [G3756] is worthy of me [G1473].
39: the [one] [G3588] finding [G2147] the [G3588] his life [G5590][G1473], will lose it [G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] losing the [G3588] his life [G5590][G1473], because of [G1752] me [G1473], will find [G2147] it [G1473].
40: the [one] [G3588] receiving [G1209] you [G1473], receives me [G1473][G1209]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] receiving me [G1473][G1209], receives [G1209] the [G3588] [one] sending me [G1473].
41: the [one] [G3588] receiving [G1209] a prophet [G4396] in [G1519] name [G3686] of a prophet [G4396], a wage [G3408] of a prophet [G4396] will receive [G2983]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] receiving [G1209] a just one [G1342] in [G1519] name [G3686] of a just one [G1342], a wage [G3408] of a just one [G1342] will receive [G2983].
42: And [G2532] who [G3739] ever [G1437] will give a drink [G4222] to one [G1520] of the [G3588]se small ones [G3397][G3778] a cup [G4221] of cold [water [G5593] only [G3440] in [G1519] name [G3686] of an trainee '[G3101], amen I say [G3004] to you [G1473], In no way will he lose the [G3588] his wage [G3408][G1473].
