Acts Chapter 12 -

at [G2596] that [G1565] And [G1161] the [G3588] time [G2540] put upon [G1911] Herod the [G3588] king the [G3588] hands [G5495] to afflict [G2559] some [G5100] of the [G3588] [ones] off the [G3588] assembly [G1577].

And he did away with [G1161] James the [G3588] brother of John [by the] sword [G3162].

And [G2532] having seen [G1492] that [G3754] it is pleasing to the [G3588] Jews, he proceeded [G4369] to seize [G4815] also [G2532] Peter, (and they were [G1161] the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] unleavened [breads )

whom [G3739] also [G2532] having laid hold of [G4084], put [G5087] into [G1519] prison [G5438], having delivered [him] up [G3860] to four [G5064] parties of four [G5069] soldiers [G4757] to guard [G5442] him [G1473], wanting [G1014] after [G3326] the [G3588] passover [G3957] to lead him [G1473] to the [G3588] people [G2992].

the [G3588]n indeed [G3303][G3767] Peter was given heed to [G5083] in [G1722] the [G3588] prison [G5438]; prayer [G4335] and [G1161] there was intense [G1618] taking place [G1096] by [G5259] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] unto [G4314] the [G3588] God '[G2316] for [G5228] him [G1473].

And when [G3753][G1161] was about [G3195] to lead him before [them [G1473][G4254] the [G3588] Herod] [in the [G3588] that night [G3571][G1565], Peter was the [G3588] sleeping [G2837] between [G3342] two [G1417] soldiers [G4757], being bound [G1210] chains with two [G1417]; and guards [G5441][G5037] before [G4253] the [G3588] door [G2374] kept [G5083] the [G3588] prison [G5438].

And [G2532] look [G2400], a word-conveyer (messenger) ' of the Boss '[G2962] stood by [G2186], and [G2532] a light [G5457] radiated [G2989] in [G1722] the [G3588] building [G3612]; and having struck [G3960][G1161] the [G3588] side [G4125] of the [G3588] Peter, he roused [G1453] him [G1473], saying [G3004], Rise up quickly [G1722][G5034]! And [G2532] fell off [G1601] of him [G1473] the [G3588] chains from [G1537] [his the [G3588] hands [G5495].

said [G2036] And [G5037] the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) ' to [G4314] him [G1473], Gird yourself [G4024] and [G2532] tie on [G5265] the [G3588] your sandals [G4547][G1473]! And he did [G4160][G1161] so [G3779]. And [G2532] he says [G3004] to him [G1473], Put on [G4016] the [G3588] your cloak [G2440][G1473] and [G2532] follow me [G1473]!

And [G2532] going forth [G1831], he followed him [G1473]; and [G2532] he did not [G3756] know [G1492] that [G3754] it [was] true -- the [thing] [G3588] taking place [G1096] by [G1223] the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) '; but he thought [G1380][G1161] a vision [G3705] [he was] seeing .

And having gone through [G1330][G1161] a first [G4413] guard [G5438] and [G2532] a second [G1208], they came [G2064] unto [G1909] the [G3588] gate [G4439] of the [G3588] iron [G4603], the [G3588] [one] bearing [G5342] into [G1519] the [G3588] city [G4172], which [G3748] by itself opened to them [G1473]. And [G2532] having come forth [G1831], they went [G4281] street [G4505] by one [G1520], and [G2532] immediately [G2112] separated the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) ' from him [G1473].

And [G2532] the [G3588] Peter having come [G1096] to [G1722] himself [G1438] said [G2036], Now [G3568] I know [G1492] truly that [G3754] Lord sent [G1821][G2962] the [G3588] his word-conveyer (messenger) '[G1473], and [G2532] rescued [G1807] me [G1473] from [G1537] hand [G5495] of Herod, and [G2532] [from] all [G3956] the [G3588] expectation [G4329] of the [G3588] people [G2992] of the [G3588] Jews.

And being fully conscious [G4894][G5037], he came [G2064] unto [G1909] the [G3588] house of [G3614] Mary the [G3588] mother [G3384] of John, of the [G3588] [one] being called [G1941] Mark; where [G3739] there were a fit [amount [G2425] being gathered together [G4867] and [G2532] praying [G4336].

having knocked [G2925] And [G1161] the [G3588] Peter] at the [G3588] door [G2374] of the [G3588] vestibule [G4440], there came forward [G4334] a maidservant [G3814] to listen [G5219], by name [G3686] Rhoda.

And [G2532] having recognized [G1921] the [G3588] voice [G5456] of the [G3588] Peter, from the [G3588] joy [G5479] she did not [G3756] open the [G3588] vestibule [G4440]; but having ran in [G1532][G1161], she reported Peter to be standing [G2476] the [G3588] before [G4253] the [G3588] vestibule [G4440].

But the [G3588] [ones] [G1161] by [G4314] her [G1473] said [G2036], You are maniacal [G3105]. the [G3588] But [G1161] she contended obstinately [G1340] thus [G3779] to have [been [G2192]. the [G3588] And [G1161] they said [G3004], the [G3588] his word-conveyer (messenger) '[G1473] It is .

the [G3588] But [G1161] Peter continued [G1961] knocking [G2925]; and having opened [G1161], they looked [at] [G1492] him [G1473], and [G2532] were amazed [G1839].

And having waved [G2678][G1161] to them [G1473] with the [G3588] hand [G5495] to be quiet [G4601], he described [G1334] to them [G1473] how [G4459] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] led him [G1473][G1806] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] prison [G5438]. And he said [G2036][G1161], Report to James and [G2532] to the [G3588] brothers these [things] [G3778]! And [G2532] having come forth [G1831] he went [G4198] to [G1519] another [G2087] place [G5117].

having come [G1096] And [G1161] day [G2250], there was disturbance [G5017] no [G3756] little [G3641] among [G1722] the [G3588] soldiers [G4757] to what [G5100] then the [G3588] became of Peter [G1096].

And Herod seeking him anxiously [G1934][G1473], and [G2532] not [G3361] finding [G2147], having questioned the [G3588] guards [G5441], he urged [them [G2753] to be taken away . And [G2532] having gone down [G2718] from the [G3588] Judea to [G1519] the [G3588] Caesarea, he spent time [G1304].

was And [G1161] Herod] violently incensed [G2371] [with the] Tyrians and [G2532] Sidonians; but with one accord [G3661][G1161] they were at hand [G3918] with [G4314] him [G1473], and [G2532] having persuaded [G3982] Blastus, the [G3588] [one] over [G1909] the [G3588] bedroom [G2846] of the [G3588] king , they asked peace [G1515]; because [G1223] the [G3588] was maintained [G5142] their [G1473] the [G3588] place [G5561] by the [G3588] royalty .

appointed [G5002] And [G1161] a day [G2250] the [G3588] Herod], having put on [G1746] attire [G2066] royal , and [G2532] having sat down [G2523] upon [G1909] the [G3588] rostrum , delivered a public address [G1215] to [G4314] them [G1473].

And the [G3588][G1161] people [G1218] sounded out, [saying [G2019] voice [G5456] of a god [G2316], and [G2532] not [G3756] a man .

And immediately [G3916][G1161] struck [G3960] him [G1473] a word-conveyer (messenger) ' of Boss '[G2962] because he did not [G3756] give [G1325] the [G3588] glory [G1391] tO the [G3588] God '[G2316]. And [G2532] becoming [G1096] worm-eaten [G4662], he expired [G1634].

But the [G3588][G1161] word [G3056] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] grew and [G2532] multiplied [G4129].

And Barnabas [G1161] and [G2532] Saul returned [G5290] from [G1537] Jerusalem, having fulfilled [G4137] the [G3588] service [G1248], having taken along [G4838] also [G2532] John, the [G3588] [one] called [G1941] Mark.
