1: And these [G3778][G1161] [are] the [G3588] generations [G1078] of Esau -- he [G1473] is Edom.
2: And Esau [G1161] took [G2983] wives [G1135] to himself [G1438] from the [G3588] daughters [G2364] of the [G3588] Canaanites -the [G3588] Adah, daughter [G2364] of Elon the [G3588] Hittite; and [G2532] the [G3588] Aholibamah, daughter [G2364] of Anah the [G3588] son [G5207] of Zibeon the [G3588] Hivite;
3: and [G2532] the [G3588] Bashemath, daughter [G2364] of Ishmael, sister of Nebajoth.
4: bore [G5088] And [G1161] to him [G1473] Adah the [G3588] Eliphaz; and [G2532] Bashemath bore [G5088] the [G3588] Reuel.
5: And [G2532] Aholibamah bore [G5088] the [G3588] Jeush, and [G2532] the [G3588] Jaalam, and [G2532] the [G3588] Korah. These [G3778] [are the] sons [G5207] of Esau, the [G3588] born [G1096] to him [G1473] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Canaan.
6: took [G2983] And [G1161] Esau the [G3588] his wives [G1135][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his daughters [G2364][G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] persons [G4983] of the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] possessions [G5224] of him [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] cattle [G2934], and [G2532] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] he acquired [G2932], and [G2532] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] he procured [G4046] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Canaan. And [G2532] Esau went [G4198] from [G1537] land '[G1093] of Canaan, from face [G4383] of Jacob the [G3588] brother of him [G1473].
7: For it was [that [G1063] their [G1473] the [G3588] possessions [G5224] [were] many [G4183] the [G3588] to live [G3611] together . And [G2532] was not able [G3756][G1410] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of the [G3588]ir sojourning [G1473] to bear [G5342] them [G1473], because off the [G3588] multitude [G4128] of the [G3588]ir possessions [G5224][G1473].
8: dwelt [G2730] And [G1161] Esau] in [G1722] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] of Seir. Esau, he [G1473] is Edom.
9: And these [are [G3778][G1161] the [G3588] generations [G1078] of Esau, father [G3962] of Edom in [G1722] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] of Seir.
10: And [G2532] these [were [G3778] the [G3588] names [G3686] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Esau -- Eliphaz son [G5207] of Adah, wife [G1135] of Esau, and [G2532] Reuel, son [G5207] of Bashemath wife [G1135] of Esau.
11: And born to [G1096][G1161] Eliphaz -- sons [G5207] Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and [G2532] Kenaz.
12: And Timnah [G1161] was a concubine of Eliphaz, the [G3588] son [G5207] of Esau. And [G2532] she bore [G5088] the [G3588] to Eliphaz, the [G3588] Amalek. These [were [G3778] sons [G5207] of Adah, wife [G1135] of Esau.
13: And these [are [G3778][G1161] sons [G5207] of Reuel -- Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and [G2532] Mizzah. These [G3778] were sons [G5207] of Bashemath wife [G1135] of Esau.
14: And these [were [G3778][G1161] sons [G5207] of Aholibamah daughter [G2364] of Anah, of the [G3588] son [G5207] of Zibeon wife [G1135] of Esau; and she bore [G5088][G1161] the [G3588] to Esau the [G3588] Jeush, and [G2532] the [G3588] Jaalam, and [G2532] the [G3588] Korah.
15: These [were [G3778] princes [G2232], sons [G5207] of Esau. sons [G5207] of Eliphaz first-born [G4416] of Esau -- prince [G2232] Teman, prince [G2232] Omar, prince [G2232] Zepho, prince [G2232] Kenaz,
16: prince [G2232] Korah, prince [G2232] Gatam, prince [G2232] Amalek. These [were [G3778] princes [G2232] of Eliphaz in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Edom; and these [were [G3778][G1161] sons [G5207] of Adah.
17: And [G2532] these [were [G3778] sons [G5207] of Reuel, son [G5207] of Esau -- prince [G2232] Nahath, prince [G2232] Zerah, prince [G2232] Shammah, prince [G2232] Mizzah. These [were [G3778] princes [G2232] of Reuel in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Edom. These [were [G3778] sons [G5207] of Bashemath, wife [G1135] of Esau.
18: And these [were [G3778][G1161] sons [G5207] of Aholibamah, wife [G1135] of Esau -- prince [G2232] Jeush, prince [G2232] Jaalam, prince [G2232] Korah. These [were [G3778] princes [G2232] of Aholibamah, daughter [G2364] of Anah, wife [G1135] of Esau.
19: These [were [G3778] sons [G5207] of Esau. And [G2532] these [were [G3778] their princes [G2232][G1473]. These [G3778] are sons [G5207] of Edom.
20: And these [were [G3778][G1161] sons [G5207] of Seir the [G3588] Horite, of the [G3588] [one] dwelling [G2730] the [G3588] land '[G1093] -- Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,
21: and [G2532] Dishon, and [G2532] Ezer, and [G2532] Dishan. These [were [G3778] princes [G2232] of the [G3588] Horite, of the [G3588] son [G5207] of Seir, in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Edom.
22: And were born [G1096][G1161] sons [G5207] of Lotan -- Hori and [G2532] Heman. And sister [G1161] of Lotan -- Timna.
23: And these [were [G3778][G1161] sons [G5207] of Shobal -- Golam, and [G2532] Manahath, and [G2532] Ebal, and [G2532] Shepho, and [G2532] Onam.
24: And [G2532] these [were [G3778] sons [G5207] of Zibeon -- Ajah and [G2532] Anah; this [G3778] Anah [is] who [G3739] found [G2147] the [G3588] mules in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] when [G3753] he was feeding the [G3588] beasts of burden [G5268] of Zibeon the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473].
25: And these [G3778][G1161] [were the] sons [G5207] of Anah -- Dishon, and [G2532] Aholibama [was] daughter [G2364] of Anah.

28: And these [were [G3778][G1161] sons [G5207] of Dishan -- Uz and [G2532] Aran.
29: And these [were [G3778][G1161] princes [G2232] of Horites -- prince [G2232] Lotan, prince [G2232] Shobal, prince [G2232] Zibeon, prince [G2232] Anah,
30: prince [G2232] Dishon, prince [G2232] Ezer, prince [G2232] Dishan. These [were [G3778] princes [G2232] of Hori, in [G1722] the [G3588]ir governing [G2231][G1473] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Edom.
31: And [G2532] these [were [G3778] the [G3588] kings , the [G3588] [ones] reigning in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Edom before [G4253] the [G3588] reigning [of a] king in [G1722] Israel.
32: And [G2532] reigned in [G1722] Edom Balak son [G5207] of the [G3588] Beor], and [G2532] name [G3686] of the [G3588] his city [G4172][G1473] -- Dinhabah.
33: died And [G1161] Balak], and [G2532] there reigned instead of him [G1473] -- Jobab, son [G5207] of Zerah, from [G1537] Bozrah.
34: died And [G1161] Jobab], and [G2532] reigned instead of him [G1473] -- Husham, from [G1537] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Temani.
35: died And [G1161] Husham], and [G2532] reigned instead of him [G1473], Hadad son [G5207] of Bedad, the [one] the [G3588] cutting off [G1581] Midian in [G1722] the [G3588] plain of Moab. And [G2532] name [G3686] of the [G3588] his city [G4172][G1473] -- Getham.
36: died And [G1161] Hadad], and [G2532] reigned instead of him [G1473] -- Samiah from [G1537] Masrekah.
37: died And [G1161] Samiah], and [G2532] reigned instead of him [G1473] -- Saul from [G1537] Rehoboth [of the] place the [G3588] by [G3844] river [G4215].
38: died And [G1161] Saul], and [G2532] reigned instead of him [G1473] -- Baal-hanan son [G5207] of Achbor.
39: died And [G1161] Baal-hanan son [G5207] of Achbor], and [G2532] reigned instead of him [G1473] -- Arad, son [G5207] of Barad; and [G2532] name [G3686] of the [G3588] his city [G4172][G1473] -- Phogor; and name [G3686][G1161] of the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473] -- Mehetabel, daughter [G2364] of Matred, son [G5207] of Mezahab.
40: These are [G3778] the [G3588] names [G3686] of the [G3588] princes [G2232] of Esau, in [G1722] the [G3588]ir tribes [G5443][G1473] according to [G2596] their place [G5117][G1473], in [G1722] the [G3588]ir regions [G5561][G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir ethinc groups [G1484][G1473] -- prince [G2232] Timnah, prince [G2232] Alvah, prince [G2232] Jetheth,
41: prince [G2232] Aholibamah, prince [G2232] Elah, prince [G2232] Pinon,
42: prince [G2232] Kenaz, prince [G2232] Teman, prince [G2232] Mibzar,
43: prince [G2232] Magdiel, prince [G2232] Zaphoi. These [are [G3778] princes [G2232] of Edom, in [G1722] the [G3588] buildings in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of the [G3588]ir property [G1473]. This [G3778] is Esau, father [G3962] of Edom.
