1: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] Samuel, Until [G2193] when [G4219] do you [G1473] mourn [G3996] for [G1909] Saul, and I [G2504] treat him with contempt [G1847][G1473] the [G3588] to not [G3361] reign over [G1909] Israel? Fill [G4130] the [G3588] your horn [G2768][G1473] with oil [G1637], and [G2532] come [G1204]! I will send you [G1473] to [G4314] Jesse, unto [G2193] Beth-lehem. For [G3754] I have seen [G3708] [one] among [G1722] the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473] to me [G1473] for [G1519] a king .
2: And [G2532] Samuel said [G2036], How [G4459] should I go [G4198], for [G2532] Saul will hear and [G2532] will kill me [G1473]? And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962], Take [G2983] in [G1519] the [G3588] your hand [G5495][G1473] a heifer [G1151] [of the] oxen [G1016]! And [G2532] you will say [G2046], to sacrifice [G2380] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] I come [G2240].
3: And [G2532] you will call [G2564] the [G3588] Jesse and [G2532] the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473] to [G1519] the [G3588] sacrifice [G2378], and [G2532] I will make known [G1107] to you [G1473] what [G3739] you will do [G4160]. And [G2532] you will anoint [G5548] to me [G1473] whom [G3739] ever I should tell [G2036] to [G4314] you [G1473].
4: And [G2532] Samuel did [G4160] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] BOSS said [G2980][G2962]. And [G2532] he came [G2064] unto [G1519] Beth-lehem, and [G2532] startled [G1839] the [G3588] elders [G4245] of the [G3588] city [G4172] the [G3588] meeting him [G1473]. And [G2532] they said [G2036], for peace [G1515][G2228] [Is] your entrance [G1529][G1473]?
5: And [G2532] he said [G2036], Peace [G1515], to sacrifice [G2380] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] I come [G2240]. Sanctify [yourselves and [G2532] recline with [G3326] me [G1473] today [G4594] for [G1519] the [G3588] sacrifice [G2378]! And [G2532] he sanctified the [G3588] Jesse and [G2532] the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473], and [G2532] he called [G2564] them [G1473] to [G1519] the [G3588] sacrifice [G2378].
6: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir entering [G1524][G1473], that [G2532] he looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] Eliab, and [G2532] said [G2036], None other than [is] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] his anointed [G5547][G1473].

For [G3754] the [G3588] man will see [G3708] on [G1519] surface [G4383], the [G3588] but [G1161] God '[G2316] will see [G3708] into [G1519] heart [G2588].
8: And [G2532] Jesse called [G2564] the [G3588] Abinadab, and [G2532] he went [G3928] by [G2596] face [G4383] of Samuel. And [G2532] he said [G2036], Nor [G3761] this one [G3778] the BOSS chose [G1586] the [G3588][G2962].
9: And [G2532] Jesse caused to pass by [G3855] the [G3588] Shammah. And [G2532] he said [G2036], Nor [G3761] in [G1722] this one [G3778] the BOSS chose [G1586] the [G3588][G2962].
10: And [G2532] Jesse caused to pass by [G3855] the [G3588] seven [G2033] sons [G5207] of him '[G1473] before [G1799] Samuel. And [G2532] Samuel said [G2036] to [G4314] Jesse, chose not [G3756][G1586] Boss '[G2962] among [G1722] these [G3778].
11: And [G2532] Samuel said [G2036] to [G4314] Jesse, Have ceased [G1587] the [G3588] boys [G3808]? And [G2532] Jesse said [G2036], [There] yet [G2089] is the [G3588] lesser [G3397], look [G2400], he tends [G4165] among [G1722] the [G3588] flock [G4168]. And [G2532] Samuel said [G2036] to [G4314] Jesse, Send and [G2532] take [G2983] him [G1473]! for [G3754] in no way will we lie down [to eat [G2625] until [G2193] the [G3588] he comes [G2064][G1473] here .
12: And [G2532] he sent , and [G2532] brought [G1521] him [G1473]. And [G2532] he [G1473] was ruddy with [G3326] beauty of the eyes [G3788], and [G2532] good to the [G3588] sight [G3706]. And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] Samuel, Rise up , anoint [G5548] him [G1473]! for [G3754] this [G3778] it is .
13: And [G2532] Samuel took [G2983] the [G3588] horn [G2768] of the [G3588] oil [G1637], and [G2532] he anointed [G5548] him [G1473] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473]. And [G2532] sprang up [G2177] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] [of the] Boss '[G2962] upon [G1909] David from the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565] and [G2532] forward [G1883]. And [G2532] Samuel rose up and [G2532] went forth unto [G1519] Ramah.
14: And [G2532] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of Boss '[G2962] left from Saul, and [G2532] smothered [G4155] him [G1473] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] a ferocious [G4190] from [G3844] Boss '[G2962].
15: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] servants [G3816] of Saul] to [G4314] him [G1473], look [G2400], wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] a ferocious [G4190] from [G3844] Boss '[G2962] smothers [G4155] you [G1473].
16: Let speak [G2036] indeed [G1211], O boss [G2962], the [G3588] your servants [G1401][G1473] before [G1799] you [G1473]! And [G2532] let them seek [G2212] for the [G3588] our boss [G2962][G1473] a man knowing [G1492] to strum [G5567] with [G1722] a lute ! And [G2532] it will be when [G1722] the [G3588] be unto [G1909] you [G1473] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] ferocious [G4190] by [G3844] God '[G2316], that [G2532] he should strum [G5567] with [G1722] the [G3588] his lute [G1473], and [G2532] good to you [G1473] it will be .
17: And [G2532] Saul said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] his servants [G3816][G1473], Look [G1492] indeed [G1211] for me [G1473] for a man rightly [skilled for [G3723] strumming [G5567], and [G2532] bring [G1521] him [G1473] to [G4314] me [G1473]!
18: And [G2532] answered one [G1520] of the [G3588] his servant-lads [G3808][G1473], and [G2532] said [G2036], look [G2400], I have seen [G3708] son [G5207] of the [G3588] Jesse Beth-lehemite, and [G2532] he [G1473] knows [G1492] to strum [G5567], and [G2532] the [G3588] man [is] discerning [G4908], and [G2532] a warrior , and [G2532] wise [G4680] in [G1722] word [G3056], and [G2532] the [G3588] man is good to the [G3588] look [G1491], and [G2532] Boss '[G2962] is with [G3326] him [G1473].
19: And [G2532] Saul sent word-conveyers (messengers) ' to [G4314] Jesse, saying [G3004], Send out [G1821] to [G4314] me [G1473] David the [G3588] your son [G5207][G1473], the [G3588] [one] among [G1722] the [G3588] your flock [G4168][G1473].
20: And [G2532] Jesse took [G2983] an ass [G3688], and [G2532] put upon [G2007] it [G1473] a homer of bread [loaves , and [G2532] a leather bag of wine [G3631], and [G2532] kid [G2056] of goats one [G1520], and [G2532] sent [them [G1821] by [G1722] hand [G5495] of David the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473] to [G4314] Saul.
21: And [G2532] David entered [G1525] to [G4314] Saul, and [G2532] stood [G3936] before [G1799] him [G1473], and [G2532] loved him [G1473] exceedingly [G4970]. And [G2532] he became [G1096] to him [G1473] one lifting the [G3588] his weapons [G4632][G1473].
22: And [G2532] Saul sent to [G4314] Jesse, saying [G3004], Let stand [G3936] indeed [G1211] David] before [G1799] me [G1473], for [G3754] he found [G2147] favor [G5484] in [G1722] my eyes [G3788][G1473]!
23: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588] being from [G3844] God '[G2316] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] a ferocious [G4190] upon [G1909] Saul, that [G2532] David took [G2983] the [G3588] lute , and [G2532] strummed [G5567] with [G1722] the [G3588] his hand [G5495][G1473]. And [G2532] Saul was refreshed , and [G2532] it was good to him [G1473], and [G2532] abstained from him [G1473] the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] the [G3588] ferocious [G4190].
