Jeremiah Chapter 22 - | Early Church Bible

1: Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], Go [G4198], and [G2532] go down [G2597] to [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] king of Judah! And [G2532] you will speak [G2980] there [G1563] the [G3588] this word [G3056][G3778].
2: And [G2532] you will say [G2046], Hear the [G3588] word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962], O king of Judah, O one the [G3588] sitting down [G2521] upon [G1909] throne [G2362] of David, you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] your servants [G3816][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] entering [G1531] the [G3588] by these gates [G4439][G3778]!
3: Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], Execute [G4160] equity [G2917] and [G2532] righteousness [G1343], and [G2532] rescue [G1807] the one being plundered [G1283] from out of [G1537] hand [G5495] of the one wronging him [G1473]! And [G2532] foreigner [G4339], and [G2532] orphan [G3737], and [G2532] widow [G5503], do not [G3361] tyrannize [G2616]! And [G2532] do not [G3361] be impious ! And [G2532] blood innocent you should not [G3361] pour out [G1632] in [G1722] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778].
4: For [G1360] if [G1437] doing [G4160] you should do [G4160] the [G3588] this word [G3056][G3778], then [G2532] will enter [G1525] in [G1722] the [G3588] gates [G4439] of the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778] kings sitting down [G2521] upon [G1909] throne [G2362] of David, and [G2532] mounting [G1910] upon [G1909] chariots , and [G2532] horses [G2462], they [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir children [G3816][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir people [G2992][G1473].
5: But if [G1437][G1161] you should not [G3361] do [G4160] the [G3588] words [G3056] these [G3778], according to [G2596] myself [G1683] I swear by an oath [G3660], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], that [G3754] for [G1519] desolation [G2050] will be the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778].
6: For [G3754] thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962] against [G2596] the [G3588] house [G3624] of king of Judah. You [are] Gilead [G1473] to me [G1473], head of the [G3588] Lebanon. Should I [G1437] not [G3361] make [G5087] you [G1473] desolate [G2048], cities [G4172] not [G3361] being dwelt in [G2730]?
7: And [G2532] I will bring [G1863] upon [G1909] you [G1473] an annihilating [G3645] man , and [G2532] the [G3588] his hewing axe [G1473]. And [G2532] they will cut down [G1581] the [G3588] chosen [G1588] cedars [G2748] your [G1473], and [G2532] will put [them [G1685] into [G1519] the [G3588] fire [G4442].
8: And [G2532] will go [G1330] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] many [G4183] through [G1223] the [G3588] this city [G4172][G3778]. And [G2532] they will say [G2046] each [G1538] to [G4314] the [G3588] neighbor [G4139] of him [G1473], Why [G1302] did BOSS do [G4160][G2962] thus [G3779] to the [G3588] city [G4172] this [G3778] the [G3588] great [G3173]?
9: And [G2532] they will say [G2046], Because they abandoned [G1459] the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of them [G1473], and [G2532] did obeisance to [G4352] strange gods '[G2316], and [G2532] they served [G1398] to them [G1473].
10: Do not [G3361] weep [G2799] for the [G3588] [one] having died [G2348], nor [G3366] lament [G2354] him [G1473]! Weep [G2799]! by weeping [G2805] for the [G3588] [one] going forth [G1607], for [G3754] he will not [G3756] return [G1994] again [G2089], nor [G3761] will he see [G3708] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of his fatherland [G3968][G1473].
11: For [G1360] thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962] against [G1909] willum, son [G5207] of Josiah king of the [G3588] Judea, who [G3739] reigned for [G5228] Josiah the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], who [G3739] came forth [G1831] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778], He will not [G3756] return there [G1563] again [G2089].
12: But in [G1722] the [G3588] place [G5117] where [G3739] I displaced [G3351] him [G1473], there [G1563] he will die , and [G2532] the [G3588] this land '[G1093][G3778] he will not [G3756] see [G3708] again [G2089].
13: O [G5599] the [G3588] [one] building [G3618] his house [G3614][G1473] with no [G3756][G3326] righteousness [G1343], and [G2532] the [G3588] his rooms [G5253][G1473] without [G3756][G1722] equity [G2917]; for [G3844] to him [G1473] the [G3588] neighbor [G4139] works [G2038] without pay [G1431], and [G2532] the [G3588] his wage [G3408][G1473] in no way will he give over to him [G1473].
14: You built [G3618] to yourself [G4572] a house [G3624] well-proportioned , [with] upper rooms [G5253] ventilated , separated [G1291] by windows [G2376], and [G2532] being boarded by [G1722] cedar [G2748], and [G2532] being anointed [G5548] in [G1722] vermilion .
15: Should [G3361] you reign , because [G3754] you [G1473] are provoked [G3947] with [G1722] Ahaz the [G3588] father [G3962] of you [G1473]? will they not [G3756] eat [G2068] and [G2532] will they not [G3756] drink [G4095]? [It is] best for you [G1473] to execute [G4160] equity [G2917] and [G2532] righteousness [G1343] fair [G2570].
16: They did not [G3756] know [G1097], they did not [G3756] judge [G2919] with equity [G2920] to humble [G5011], nor [G3761] with equity [G2920] to needy [G3993]. this not [G3756][G3778] Is [because of the [G3588] not [G3361] knowing [G1097] your [G1473] me [G1473], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962]?
17: look [G2400], not [G3756] are the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473] nor [G3761] the [G3588] your heart [G2588][G1473] good [G2570], but [they are for [G1519] the [G3588] your desire for wealth [G4124][G1473], and [G2532] for [G1519] the [G3588] blood the [G3588] innocent the [G3588] pouring out [G1632], and [G2532] for [G1519] offences , and [G2532] for [G1519] murder [G5408], the [G3588] to do [G4160] them [G1473].
18: On account of [G1223] this [G3778], thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962] against [G1909] Jehoiakim son [G5207] of Josiah king of Judah, Woe [G3759] against [G1909] the [G3588] this man [G3778]. In no way should they lament [G2875] him, [saying [G1473], O [G5599] brother . Nor will they weep [over] [G2799] him, [saying [G1473], Alas , O boss [G2962].
19: As burial [G5027] of a donkey [G3688] he will be buried [G2290]; being scraped away he will be tossed [G4495] beyond [G1900] the [G3588] gate [G4439] of Jerusalem.
20: go up unto [G1519] the [G3588] Lebanon, and [G2532] cry out [G2896]! And [G2532] unto [G1519] the [G3588] Bashan give out [G1325] the [G3588] your voice [G5456][G1473], and [G2532] yell unto [G1519] the [G3588] end [G4009] of the [G3588] sea [G2281]! for [G3754] were defeated [G4937] all [G3956] the [G3588] your lovers [G1473].
21: I spoke [G2980] to [G4314] you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] your transgression [G1473], and [G2532] you said [G2036], I will not hearken [G3756]. This [G3778] the [G3588] [is] your way [G3598][G1473] from [G1537] your youth [G3503][G1473], you hearkened not to [G3756] the [G3588] my voice [G5456][G1473].
22: All [G3956] the [G3588] your shepherds [G4166][G1473] will tend [G4165] wind , and [G2532] the [G3588] your lovers [G1473] into [G1722] captivity will go forth [G1831]; for [G3754] then [G5119] you will be ashamed , and [G2532] will be disgraced because off all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] being fond of [G5368] you [G1473].
23: O one dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] the [G3588] Lebanon, nesting among [G1722] the [G3588] cedars [G2748], you will groan in [G1722] the [G3588] coming [G2064] to you [G1473] griefs [G3601], pangs [G5604] as [G5613] one giving birth [G5088].
24: [As] I live [G2198][G1473], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], Though [G1437] in coming to pass [G1096] should become [G1096] Coniah son [G5207] of Jehoiakim king of Judah] a seal upon [G1909] the [G3588] hand [G5495] the [G3588] my right [G1188][G1473], from there [G1564] will I pull you out [G1473].
25: And [G2532] I will deliver you up [G3860][G1473] into [G1519] hands [G5495] of the [G3588] [ones] seeking [G2212] the [G3588] your life [G5590][G1473], whom [G3739] you [G1473] are cautious [G2125] from in front [G4383] of them [G1473], even [G2532] into [G1519] hands [G5495] of Nebuchadnezzar king of the [G3588] Babylon, and [G2532] into [G1519] hands [G5495] of the [G3588] Chaldeans.
26: And [G2532] I will throw you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] your mother [G3384][G1473], the [G3588] [one] giving birth to [G5088] you [G1473], into [G1519] a land '[G1093] of which [G3739] you were not birthed [G3756][G5088] there [G1563]; and [G2532] there [G1563] you will die .
27: And unto [G1519][G1161] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] they [G1473] made a vow [G2172] [in the [G3588]ir souls [G5590][G1473], there [G1563] in no way will they return .
28: Coniah is disgraced as [G5613] a vessel [G4632] which [G3739] there is no [G3756] need [G5532] of [G1473]; for [G3754] he was cast forth and [G2532] cast [G1544] into [G1519] a land '[G1093] which [G3739] he did not [G3756] know [G1492].
29: O land '[G1093], O land '[G1093], hear word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962]!
30: Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], Write up [G1125] the [G3588] this man [G3778] banished by public proclamation as a man ! For [G3754] in no way should there be [anything] grown from out of [G1537] the [G3588] his seed [G4690][G1473], a man sitting down [G2521] upon [G1909] throne [G2362] of David, ruling again [G2089] in [G1722] the [G3588] Judah.
