Ecclesiastes Chapter 6 - | Early Church Bible

1: There is a wickedness [G4189] which [G3739] I looked [at] [G1492] under [G5259] the [G3588] sun [G2246], and [G2532] it is abundant [G4183] with [G3844] the [G3588] men .
2: A man to whom [G3739] will give [G1325] to him [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316] wealth [G4149], and [G2532] possessions [G5224], and [G2532] glory [G1391], and [G2532] there is nothing [G3756] lacking [G5302] to the [G3588] his soul [G5590][G1473] from all [things] [G3956] which [G3739] he will desire [G1937]; yet [G2532] will not [G3756] give authority to him [G1850][G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] to eat [G2068] from it [G1473]; for [G3754] a man , a stranger [G3581], will eat [G2068] it [G1473]. And [G2532][G1065] this [G3778] folly [G3153] and [G2532] sickness an evil [G4190] is .
3: If [G1437] should engender [G1080] a man a hundred [G1540], and [G2532] years [G2094] many [G4183] will live [G2198], and [G2532] abundant [G4128] however [G3739][G5100] will be the [G3588] days [G2250] of his years [G2094][G1473], that [G2532] the [G3588] his soul [G5590][G1473] will not [G3756] be filled up [G1705] from goodness , and [G2532] indeed [G1065] no burial [G5027][G3756] there be [G1096] for him [G1473]. I said [G2036], Better for [G5228] him [G1473] the [G3588] miscarriage [G1626].
4: For [G3754] in [G1722] folly [G3153] he came [G2064], and [G2532] in [G1722] darkness [G4655] he goes [G4198], and [G2532] in [G1722] darkness [G4655] name [G3686] of him [G1473] will be covered [G2572].
5: And [G2532] indeed [G1065] sun [G2246] he knew not [G3756][G1492], and [G2532] knows not [G3756][G1097] rest this one [G3778] over [G5228] this [other] one [G3778].
6: And [G2532] if [G1487] he lived [G2198] a thousand [G5507] years [G2094] of returns , and [G2532] goodness he knows not [G3756][G1492], is it not [G3378][G3756] unto [G1519] place [G5117] one [G1520] all will go [G4198] the [G3588][G3956]?
7: Every [G3956] effort [G3449] of man [is] for [G1519] his mouth [G4750][G1473], and [G2532] indeed [G1065] the [G3588] soul [G5590] will not [G3756] be filled [G4137].
8: For [G3754] what [G5100] advantage [G4050] to the [G3588] wise [G4680] over [G5228] the [G3588] fool , for [G1360] the [G3588] needy [G3993] knows [G1492] to go [G4198] in front of [G2713] the [G3588] life [G2222]?
9: Better vision [G3705] of eyes [G3788], than [G5228] going [G4198] in life [G5590]; for [G2532] indeed [G1065] this [G3778] [is] folly [G3153] and [G2532] resolve of wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151].
10: If anything [G1536] became [G1096], already [G2235] has been called [G2564] its name [G3686][G1473]; and [G2532] it is known [G1097] what [G5100] man is , and [G2532] he is not [G3756] able [G1410] to judge [G2919] against [G3326] the [G3588] [one] stronger [G2478] than [G5228] he [G1473].
11: For [G3754] there are words '[G3056] many [G4183] multiplying [G4129] folly [G3153].
12: What [G5100] extra [G4053] [is to the [G3588] man ? For who [G3754][G5100] knows [G1492] what [G5100] [is] good [to the [G3588] man in [G1722] the [G3588] life [G2222], [during the] number of life [G2222] of days [G2250] of his folly [G3153][G1473]? And [G2532] he spent [G4160] them [G1473] as [G1722] a shadow [G4639]; for [G3754] who [G5100] will report the [G3588] to man what [G5100] will be after [G3694] him [G1473] under [G5259] the [G3588] sun [G2246]?
