1: And [G2532] Jerubbaal rose early [G3719] (he [G1473] is Gideon), and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] with [G3326] him [G1473]. And [G2532] they camped upon [G1909] spring [G4077] of Harod. And [G2532] camp [G3925] of Midian was to him [G1473] from north [G1005] off the [G3588] hill [G1015] Moreh, in [G1722] the [G3588] valley .
2: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] the [G3588] Gideon, are many [G4183] the [G3588] people [G2992] the [G3588] with [G3326] you [G1473] so as [G5620] to not [G3361] deliver up [G3860] for me [G1473] the [G3588] Midian into [G1722] their hand [G5495][G1473], lest at any time [G3379] Israel should boast [G2744] instead of [G1909] me [G1473], saying [G3004], the [G3588] My hand [G5495][G1473] delivered [G4982] me [G1473].
3: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] him [G1473], Speak [G2980] indeed [G1211] into [G1519] the [G3588] ears [G3775] of the [G3588] people [G2992]! saying [G3004], Any [G5100] the [G3588] [one] fearing [G5399] and [G2532] timid [G1169] return ! And [G2532] they sallied out from the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Gilead. And [G2532] returned off the [G3588] people [G2992] twenty [G1501] and [G2532] two [G1417] thousand [G5505], and [G2532] ten [G1176] thousand [G5505] were left behind [G5275].
4: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] Gideon, Still [G2089] the [G3588] people [G2992] are many [G4183], lead them down [G2609][G1473] to [G1519] the [G3588] water [G5204]! and [G2532] I will try [G1381] them [G1473] for you [G1473] there [G1563]. And [G2532] it will be whom [G3739] ever I should tell [G2036] to [G4314] you [G1473], This one [G3778] will go [G4198] with [G3326] you [G1473] -- he [G1473] will go [G4198] with [G3326] you [G1473]. And [G2532] all [G3956] whom [G3739] ever I should say [G2036] that [G3754], He will not go [G3756][G4198] with [G3326] you [G1473], then [G2532] he [G1473] will not go [G3756][G4198] with [G3326] you [G1473].
5: And [G2532] went down [G2597] the [G3588] people [G2992] to [G1519] the [G3588] water [G5204]. And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] Gideon, All [G3956] who [G3739] ever laps [with] the [G3588] his tongue [G1100][G1473] of [G1537] the [G3588] water [G5204] as [G5613] if should lap the [G3588] dog [G2965], you will stand [G2476] him [G1473] alone [G2596][G3441]. And [G2532] all [G3956] who [G3739] ever bends [G2578] upon [G1909] the [G3588] his knees [G1119][G1473] the [G3588] to drink [G4095], you will remove [G3179] him [G1473] by [G2596] himself [G1473].
6: And [G2532] was [G1096] the [G3588] number of the [G3588] [ones] lapping with [G1722] the [G3588]ir tongue [G1100][G1473] three hundred [G5145] men . And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] remaining [G2645] the [G3588] people [G2992] bent [G2578] upon [G1909] the [G3588]ir knees [G1119][G1473] to drink [G4095] water [G5204].
7: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] Gideon, By [G1722] the [G3588] three hundred [G5145] men the [G3588] lapping I will deliver [G4982] you [G1473], and [G2532] I will put [G1325] the [G3588] Midian into [G1722] your hand [G5495][G1473]. And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] ran , [each] man to [G1519] the [G3588] his place [G5117][G1473].
8: And [G2532] they took [G2983] the [G3588] provision [G1979] of the [G3588] people [G2992] in [G1722] their hand [G5495][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir horns [G1473]. And [G2532] every [G3956] man of Israel he sent out [G1821] to [G1519] the [G3588] his tent [G4638][G1473], and the [G3588][G1161] three hundred [G5145] men he kept [G2902]. And the [G3588][G1161] camp [G3925] of Midian was underneath him [G1473][G5270] in [G1722] the [G3588] valley .
9: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588] that night [G3571][G1565], that [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473] Boss '[G2962], Rise up , go down [G2597] into [G1519] the [G3588] camp [G3925]! for [G3754] I delivered [G3860] it [G1473] into [G1722] the [G3588] your hand [G5495][G1473].
10: And if [G1487][G1161] you should fear [G5399] by yourself [G1473] to go down [G2597], go down [G2597] then you [G1473] and [G2532] Phurah the [G3588] your servant [G3808][G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] camp [G3925].
11: And [G2532] you should hearken to what [G5100] they speak [G2980], and [G2532] after [G3326] these [things] [G3778] will grow in strength [G1765] the [G3588] your hands [G5495][G1473], and [G2532] you will go down [G2597] in [G1722] the [G3588] camp [G3925]. And [G2532] he went down [G2597], he [G1473] and [G2532] Phurah the [G3588] his servant [G3808][G1473], into [G1519] a portion [G3313] of the [G3588] fifty [companies [G4004] of the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] the [G3588] camp [G3925].
12: And [G2532] Midian and [G2532] Amalek and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of east were encamped in [G1722] the [G3588] valley as [G5613] locust in [G1519] multitude [G4128]; and [G2532] [to the [G3588]ir camels [G2574][G1473] no [G3756] there was number , but they were as if [G5618] the [G3588] sand the [G3588] upon [G1909] the [G3588] edge [G5491] of the [G3588] sea [G2281] in [G1519] multitude [G4128].
13: And [G2532] Gideon came [G2064], and [G2532] look [G2400], a man was describing [G1834] [to the [G3588] his neighbor [G4139][G1473] a dream [G1798]. And [G2532] he said [G2036], look [G2400], I dreamed [G1797] a dream [G1798]. And [G2532] look [G2400], a loaf of bread of barley [G2916] was rolling [G2947] in [G1722] the [G3588] camp [G3925] of Midian, and [G2532] it came [G2064] unto [G2193] the [G3588] tent [G4633] of Midian, and [G2532] it struck [G3960] it [G1473], and [G2532] it overturned [G2690] it [G1473], and [G2532] fell [G4098] the [G3588] tent [G4633].
14: And [G2532] answered the [G3588] his neighbor [G4139][G1473] and [G2532] said [G2036], not [G3756] This is [G3778] other than broadsword [G4501] of Gideon son [G5207] of Joash, a man of Israel. God delivered up [G3860] the [G3588][G2316] into [G1722] his hand [G5495][G1473] the [G3588] Midian], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] camp [G3925].
15: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] Gideon heard the [G3588] description of the [G3588] dream [G1798], and [G2532] the [G3588] its interpretation [G1473], that [G2532] he did obeisance to [G4352] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] he returned [G5290] into [G1519] the [G3588] camp [G3925] of Israel. And [G2532] he said [G2036], Rise up ! for [G3754] BOSS delivered up [G3860][G2962] into [G1722] your hands [G5495][G1473] the [G3588] camp [G3925] of Midian.
16: And [G2532] he divided [G1244] the [G3588] three hundred [G5145] men into [G1519] three [G5140] companies , and [G2532] he put [G1325] horns into [G1722] hand [G5495] of all [G3956], and [G2532] water-pitchers [G5201] empty [G2756], and [G2532] lamps [G2985] in [G1722] the middle [G3319] of the [G3588] water-pitchers [G5201].
17: And [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] them [G1473], Of me [G1473] you will see [G3708], and [G2532] thus [G3779] will you do [G4160]. And [G2532] look [G2400], I [G1473] will enter [G1531] into [G1722] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] camp [G3925], and [G2532] it will be as [G5613] whenever I will act [G4160], so [G3779] will you act [G4160].
18: When [G2532] I will trump [G4537] with [G1722] the [G3588] horn , I [G1473] and [G2532] all [G3956] with [G3326] me [G1473], then [G2532] you will trump [G4537] with [G1722] the [G3588] horns round about [G2945] entire [G3650] the [G3588] camp [G3925], and [G2532] you will say [G2046], For the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] and [G2532] for the [G3588] Gideon.
19: And [G2532] Gideon entered [G1525], and [G2532] the [G3588] hundred [G1540] men , the [G3588] [ones] with [G3326] him [G1473], into [G1722] rank [G3313] of the [G3588] camp [G3925] command of the [G3588] guard [G5438] of the [G3588] middle [watch [G3322]; furthermore [G4133] rising [G1454] they roused [G1453] the [G3588] [ones] guarding [G5442]. And [G2532] they trumped [G4537] the [G3588] horns , and [G2532] shook off [G1621] the [G3588] water-pitchers [G5201], the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir hands [G5495][G1473].
20: And [G2532] trumped [G4537] the [G3588] three [G5140] companies with [G1722] the [G3588] horns , and [G2532] they broke [G4937] the [G3588] water-pitchers [G5201], and [G2532] took [G2983] in [G1722] the [G3588] hand [G5495] the [G3588]ir left [G1473] the [G3588] lamps [G2985], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] hand [G5495] the [G3588]ir right [G1188][G1473] [was] the [G3588] horns the [G3588] to trump [G4537]. And [G2532] they shouted aloud , A broadsword [G4501] for the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] and [G2532] for the [G3588] Gideon.
21: And [G2532] they stood [G2476], each [G1538] man by [G2596] himself [G1438], round about [G2945] the [G3588] camp [G3925]; and [G2532] they ran [around [G5143] all [G3956] the [G3588] camp [G3925], and [G2532] they signified [by an alarm [G4591] -- and [G2532] they fled [G5343].
22: And [G2532] they trumped [G4537] the [G3588] three hundred [G5145] horns . And [G2532] BOSS placed [G5087][G2962] sword [G3162] [every] man's against [G1722] the [G3588] neighbor [G4139] of him [G1473], even [G2532] in [G1722] whole [G3650] the [G3588] camp [G3925]. And [G2532] fled [G5343] the [G3588] camp [G3925] unto [G2193] the [G3588] Beth-shittah Zererath, unto [G2193] edge [G5491] of Abel-meholah by [G1909] Tabbath.
23: And [G2532] called for aid man of Israel] of [G1537] Naphtali, and [G2532] of [G1537] Asher, and [G2532] of [G1537] all [G3956] Manasseh; and [G2532] they pursued [G2614] after [G3694] Midian.
24: And [G2532] word-conveyers (messengers) ' sent out [G1821] Gideon] to [G1722] every [G3956] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] of Ephraim, saying [G3004], Go down [G2597] to [G1519] meet [G4877] Midian, and [G2532] overtake [G2638] for yourselves [G1438] the [G3588] water [G5204] unto [G2193] Beth-barah and [G2532] the [G3588] Jordan! And [G2532] yelled out every [G3956] man of Ephraim] and [G2532] were first to take the [G3588] water [G5204] unto [G2193] Beth-barah and [G2532] the [G3588] Jordan.
25: And [G2532] they seized [G4815] the [G3588] two [G1417] rulers of Midian -the [G3588] Oreb and [G2532] the [G3588] Zeeb; and [G2532] they killed the [G3588] Oreb in [G1722] Sur, and [G2532] the [G3588] Zeeb they killed in [G1722] Jakeb Zeeb. And [G2532] they pursued [G2614] the [G3588] Midian. And [G2532] the [G3588] head [G2776] of Oreb, and [G2532] of Zeeb they brought [G5342] to [G4314] Gideon from [G1537] the [G3588] other side [G4008] of the [G3588] Jordan.
