1: Woe [G3759] to the [G3588] [ones] going down [G2597] into [G1519] Egypt for [G1909] help ; the [G3588] [ones] upon [G1909] horses [G2462] relying [G3982], and [G2532] upon [G1909] chariots , for they are [G1063] many [G4183]; and [G2532] [relying] upon [G1909] horses [G2462] many [G4128] exceedingly [G4970]. And [G2532] they did not hearken [G3756] relying [G3982] upon [G1909] the [G3588] holy one of the [G3588] Israel, and [G2532] the [G3588] God '[G2316] they did not [G3756] seek [G2212].
2: And [G2532] he [G1473] wisely conveyed ' upon [G1909] them [G1473] bad [things] [G2556], and [G2532] the [G3588] word [G3056] of him [G1473] in no way will be annulled . And [G2532] he will rise up [G1881] against [G1909] houses [G3624] men of wicked [G4190], and [G2532] against [G1909] the [G3588] hope [G1680] their [G1473] the [G3588] vain [G3152] --
3: an Egyptian man , and [G2532] not [G3756] God '[G2316]. Their horses [G2462][G1473] [are] flesh [G4561] and [G2532] not [G3756] help ; but the [G3588][G1161] Boss '[G2962] will bring [G1863] the [G3588] his hand [G5495][G1473] against [G1909] them [G1473], and [G2532] will tire [G2872] the [G3588] [ones] helping , and [G2532] together all [G3956] will perish .
4: For [G3754] thus [G3779] said [G2036] BOSS to me [G1473][G2962], In which [G3739] manner [G5158] whenever [G3752] should yell out the [G3588] lion [G3023] or [G2228] the [G3588] cub over [G1909] the [G3588] game [G2339] which [G3739] he took [G2983], and [G2532] will cry out [G2896] over [G1909] it [G1473], until [G2193] whenever should be filled up [G1705] the [G3588] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735] the [G3588] of his voice [G5456][G1473], and [G2532] [the prey] are vanquished [G2274], and [G2532] by the [G3588] magnitude [G4128] of the [G3588] rage [G2372] they are scared [G4422]; so [G3779] will go down [G2597] Boss '[G2962] of Hosts [G4519] to march upon [G1909] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Zion, upon [G1909] the [G3588] her raised-places (mountains) '[G3735][G1473].
5: As [G5613] birds [G3732] flying [G4072], so [G3779] will shield Boss '[G2962] of Hosts [G4519] above [G5228] Jerusalem; and [G2532] he will rescue [G1807] and [G2532] will protect [G4046] and [G2532] will deliver [G4982].
6: Turn [G1994]! O ones the [G3588] [G3588] deep counsel [G1012] consulting [G1011] and [G2532] lawless , O sons [G5207] of Israel.
7: For [G3754] the [G3588] in that day [G2250][G1565] will totally reject the [G3588] men the [idols the [G3588] made by their hands [G5499] -- the [things] [G3588] made of silver , and [G2532] the [things] [G3588] of gold [G5552], which [G3739] made [G4160] the [G3588]ir hands [G5495][G1473].
8: And [G2532] Assyria will fall [G4098]; not [G3756] [by the] sword [G3162] of man , nor [G3761] sword [G3162] of man will] devour [G2719] him [G1473]; and [G2532] he will not flee [G5343][G3756] from in front [G4383] [of the] sword [G3162]; but the [G3588][G1161] young men [G3495] will be for vanquishing [G2275];
9: for as a rock [G4073][G1063], they will be taken hold of as [G5613] for a siege mound [G5482], and [G2532] will be vanquished [G2274]; but the [G3588] [one] [G1161] fleeing [G5343] will be captured ; thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], Blessed [is [G3107] the one who [G3739] has [G2192] in [G1722] Zion a seed [G4690], and [G2532] members of a family [G3609] in [G1722] Jerusalem.
