1: And [G2532] Elisha the [G3588] prophet [G4396] called [G2564] one [G1520] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] prophets [G4396], and [G2532] he said [G2036] to him [G1473], Tie up [G2224] the [G3588] your loin [G3751][G1473], and [G2532] take [G2983] the [G3588] flask of the [G3588] this oil [G1637][G3778] in [G1722] the [G3588] your hand [G5495][G1473], and [G2532] be gone [G4198] unto [G1519] Ramoth Gilead!
2: And [G2532] you will enter [G1525] there [G1563], and [G2532] you will see [G3708] there [G1563] Jehu son [G5207] of Jehoshaphat son [G5207] of Nimshi. And [G2532] you will enter [G1525], and [G2532] you will raise him [G1473] from [G1537] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473]. And [G2532] you will bring [G1521] him [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] closet [G5009] of [G1722] a storeroom [G5009].
3: And [G2532] you will take [G2983] the [G3588] flask of the [G3588] oil [G1637], and [G2532] you will pour [G2022] upon [G1909] the [G3588] his head [G2776][G1473]. And [G2532] you will say [G2046], Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], I have anointed [G5548] you [G1473] for [G1519] king over [G1909] Israel. And [G2532] you will open the [G3588] door [G2374], and [G2532] will flee [G5343], and [G2532] not [G3756] wait [G5278].
4: And [G2532] went [G4198] the [G3588] young [G3808] the [G3588] prophet [G4396] unto [G1519] Ramoth Gilead.
5: And [G2532] he entered [G1525]. And [G2532] look [G2400], the [G3588] commanders of for the [G3588]ce [G1411] were sitting down [G2521]. And [G2532] he said [G2036], A word [G3056] from me [G1473] to [G4314] you [G1473], the [G3588] commander . And [G2532] Jehu said [G2036], To [G4314] whom [G5100] of [G1537] all [G3956] of us [G1473]? And [G2532] he said [G2036], To [G4314] you [G1473], the [G3588] commander .
6: And [G2532] he rose up , and [G2532] entered [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3624]. And [G2532] he poured [G2022] the [G3588] oil [G1637] upon [G1909] the [G3588] his head [G2776][G1473]. And [G2532] he said [G2036] to him [G1473], Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, I have anointed [G5548] you [G1473] for [G1519] king over [G1909] the [G3588] people [G2992] of Boss '[G2962], over [G1909] the [G3588] Israel.
7: And [G2532] you will utterly destroy [G1842] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Ahab the [G3588] your boss [G2962][G1473] from [G1537] my face [G4383][G1473], and [G2532] you will avenge [G1556] the [G3588] blood of the [G3588] my servants [G1401][G1473] the [G3588] prophets [G4396], and [G2532] the [G3588] blood of all [G3956] the [G3588] servants [G1401] of Boss '[G2962]. at [G1537] hand [G5495] of Jezebel,
8: and [G2532] by [G1537] hand [G5495] of the entire [G3650] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Ahab. And [G2532] you will utterly destroy [G1842] [to the [G3588] Ahab ones urinating against [G4314] a wall [G5109], and [G2532] one being held [G4912] and [G2532] the one left [free [G1459] in [G1722] Israel.
9: And [G2532] I will appoint [G1325] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Ahab as [G5613] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Jeroboam son [G5207] of Nebat, and [G2532] as [G5613] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Baasha son [G5207] of Ahijah.
10: And [G2532] the [G3588] will eat Jezebel [G2719] the [G3588] dogs [G2965] in [G1722] the [G3588] part [G3310] of Jezreel, and [G2532] there will not be [G3756] [one] the [G3588] burying [her [G2290]. And [G2532] he opened the [G3588] door [G2374], and [G2532] fled [G5343].
11: And [G2532] Jehu came forth [G1831] to [G4314] the [G3588] servants [G3816] of the [G3588] his boss [G2962][G1473], and [G2532] they said [G2036] to him [G1473], Peace [G1515]? What [is it [G5100] that [G3754] entered [G1525] the [G3588] overcome by convulsions this [one [G3778] to [G4314] you [G1473]? And [G2532] he said [G2036] to them [G1473], You [G1473] know [G1492] the [G3588] man , and [G2532] the [G3588] his meditation [G1473].
12: And [G2532] they said [G2036], [That's] unjust , but announce to us [G1473]! And [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] them [G1473], Such [G3779] and [G2532] such [G3779] he said [G2980] to [G4314] me [G1473], saying [G3004], Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], I anoint [G5548] you [G1473] for [G1519] king over [G1909] Israel.
13: And [G2532] hearing , they hastened [G4692], and [G2532] took [G2983] each [G1538] the [G3588] his cloak [G2440][G1473], and [G2532] put [them [G5087] under [G5270] him [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] frame of the [G3588] stairs . And [G2532] they trumped [G4537] with [G1519] horn , and [G2532] said [G2036], Jehu reigns .
14: And [G2532] confederated [G4962] Jehu son [G5207] of Jehoshaphat son [G5207] of Nimshi] against [G4314] Jehoram. And [G2532] Jehoram guarded [G5442] in [G1722] Ramoth Gilead, he [G1473] and [G2532] all [G3956] Israel before [G4383] Hazael king of Syria.
15: And [G2532] returned Jehoram the [G3588] king to be treated medically in [G1722] Jezreel from the [G3588] wounds [G4127] which [G3739] hit [G3817] him [G1473] the [G3588] Syrians] in [G1722] the [G3588] his waging war [G4170][G1473] against [G3326] Hazael king of Syria. And [G2532] Jehu said [G2036], If [G1487] is your soul [G5590][G1473] with [G3326] me [G1473], let there not [G3361] go forth [G1831] out of [G1537] the [G3588] city [G4172] any one escaping [G1309] the [G3588] to go [G4198] and [G2532] report in [G1722] Jezreel.
16: And [G2532] rode and [G2532] went [G4198] Jehu] unto [G1519] Jezreel, for [G3754] Jehoram was being attended to [G2323] in [G1722] the [G3588] Jezreel. And [G2532] Ahaziah king of Judah came down [G2597] to see [G1492] the [G3588] Jehoram.
17: And [G2532] the [G3588] watchman [G4649] was standing [G2476] upon [G1909] the [G3588] tower [G4444] in [G1722] Jezreel. And [G2532] he looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] cloud of dust [G2868] of the [G3588] crowd [G3793] of Jehu in [G1722] the [G3588] his coming [G3854][G1473]. And [G2532] he said [G2036], a cloud of dust [G2868] of the [G3588] crowd [G3793] I [G1473] see . And [G2532] Jehoram said [G2036], Take [G2983] a rider , and [G2532] send for [G1519] meeting them [G1473]! and [G2532] let him say [G2036], Is it [G1487] peace [G1515]?
18: And [G2532] went [G4198] the [G3588] rider [upon the] horse [G2462] for [G1519] meeting him [G1473]. And [G2532] he said [G2036], Thus [G3592] says [G3004] the [G3588] king , Is [it [G1487] peace [G1515]? And [G2532] Jehu said [G2036], What [G5100] [is it] to you [G1473] and [G2532] peace [G1515]? You turn [G1994] to [G1519] ones the [G3588] behind [G3694] me [G1473]! And [G2532] reported the [G3588] watchman [G4649], saying [G3004], came [G2064] the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) ' unto [G2193] them [G1473], and [G2532] returned not [G3756].
19: And [G2532] he sent rider of a horse [G2462] a second [G1208]. And [G2532] he came [G2064] to [G4314] them [G1473], and [G2532] he said [G2036], Thus [G3592] says [G3004] the [G3588] king , Is it [G1487] peace [G1515]? And [G2532] Jehu said [G2036], What [is it [G5100] to you [G1473] and [G2532] peace [G1515]? You turn [G1994] to [G1519] the [G3588] [ones] behind [G3694] me [G1473]!
20: And [G2532] reported the [G3588] watchman [G4649], saying [G3004], He came [G2064] unto [G2193] them [G1473] and [G2532] returned not [G3756]. And [G2532] the [G3588] leader [is] as [G5613] leader Jehu son [G5207] of Nimshi; for [G1360] in [G1722] a frenzy [G3883] he is [G1096].
21: And [G2532] Jehoram said [G2036], Team up chariots ! And [G2532] they teamed up . And [G2532] went forth [G1831] Jehoram king of Israel], and [G2532] Ahaziah king of Judah, [each] man in [G1722] the [G3588] his chariot [G1473]. And [G2532] they came forth [G1831] for [G1519] meeting Jehu. And [G2532] they found [G2147] him [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] portion [G3310] of Naboth the [G3588] Jezreelite.
22: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] Jehoram looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] Jehu, that [G2532] he said [G2036], Is it [G1487] peace [G1515] Jehu? And [G2532] Jehu said [G2036], What [is it [G5100] to you [G1473] and [G2532] peace [G1515] [with] still [G2089] the [G3588] harlotries [G4202] of Jezebel the [G3588] your mother [G3384][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] potions her [G1473] the [G3588] many [G4183]?
23: And [G2532] Jehoram turned [G1994] the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473] the [G3588] to flee [G5343]. And [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] Ahaziah, Treachery [G1388] Ahaziah.
24: And [G2532] Jehu filled [G4130] the [G3588] his hand [G5495][G1473] with [G1722] the [G3588] bow [G5115], and [G2532] he struck [G3960] the [G3588] Jehoram between the [G3588] his arms [G1023][G1473], and [G2532] came forth [G1831] the [G3588] arrow through [G1223] the [G3588] his heart [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] he bent [G2578] upon [G1909] the [G3588] his knees [G1119][G1473].
25: And [G2532] Jehu said [G2036] to [G4314] Bidkar the [G3588] his tribune [G1473], Take and [G2532] toss [G4495] him [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] portion [G3310] of the [G3588] field of Naboth the [G3588] Jezreelite! for [G3754] I remember [G3421], I [G1473] and [G2532] you [G1473] mounting [G1910] upon [G1909] teams [G2201] after [G3694] Ahab the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] Boss '[G2962] took [G2983] upon [G1909] him [G1473] the [G3588] this concern [G3778], saying [G3004],
26: If [G1487] in deed [G3303] the [G3588] blood of Naboth and [G2532] the [G3588] blood of the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473] I looked [at] [G1492] yesterday [G5504], says [G5346] Boss '[G2962]? And [G2532] I will recompense to you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] this portion [of land [G3310][G3778], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] now [G3568] lift him , and [G2532] toss [G4495] him [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] portion [of land [G3310], according to [G2596] the [G3588] word [G4487] of Boss '[G2962]!
27: And [G2532] Ahaziah king of Judah looked [at] [G1492], and [G2532] he fled [G5343] way [G3598] of Beth-agan. And [G2532] pursued [G1377] after [G3694] him [G1473] Jehu]. And [G2532] he said [G2036], Even [G2532] indeed [G1065] him [G1473], strike [G3960] him [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] chariot ! [And the did so] in [G1722] the [G3588] ascent of Gur, which [G3739] is the one of the [G3588] Ibleam. And [G2532] he fled [G5343] into [G1519] Megiddo, and [G2532] died there [G1563].
28: And [G2532] set [G1913] him [G1473] the [G3588] his servants [G3816][G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] chariot , and [G2532] conveyed ' him [G1473] into [G1519] Jerusalem. And [G2532] they entombed [G2290] him [G1473] with [G3326] the [G3588] his fathers [G3962][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] his tomb [G5028][G1473] in [G1722] city [G4172] of David.
29: And [G2532] in [G1722] year [G2094] eleventh [G1734] of Jehoram king of Israel, Ahaziah took reign over [G1909] Judah.
30: And [G2532] Jehu came [G2064] to [G1519] Jezreel. And [G2532] Jezebel heard , and [G2532] she tinged with antimony the [G3588] her eyes [G3788][G1473], and [G2532] she adorned [G2885] the [G3588] her head [G2776][G1473], and [G2532] she looked through [G1223] the [G3588] window [G2376].
31: And [G2532] Jehu entered [G1531] into [G1722] the [G3588] city [G4172]. And [G2532] she [G1473] said [G2036], Is it [G1487] peace [G1515] [with] Omri, the [G3588] murderer of the [G3588] his boss [G2962][G1473]?
32: And [G2532] he lifted up [G1869] the [G3588] his face [G4383][G1473] unto [G1519] the [G3588] window [G2376], and [G2532] he looked [at] [G1492] her [G1473]. And [G2532] he said [G2036], Who [G5100] are you [G1473]? Come down [G2597] to [G4314] me [G1473]! And [G2532] stooped forward to look down at [G4314] him [G1473] two [G1417] eunuchs [G2135].
33: And [G2532] he said [G2036], Roll [G2947] her [over] [G1473]! And [G2532] they rolled [G2947] her [over] [G1473], and [G2532] sprinkled [G4472] the [G3588] her blood [G1473] against [G4314] the [G3588] wall [G5109], and [G2532] against [G4314] the [G3588] horses [G2462]; and [G2532] they trampled upon her [G1473].
34: And [G2532] Jehu entered [G1525], and [G2532] ate [G2068] and [G2532] drank [G4095], and [G2532] said [G2036], Watch [G1980] indeed [G1211] the [G3588] this cursed one [G2672][G3778], and [G2532] bury [G2290] her [G1473], for [G3754] daughter [G2364] of a king she is .
35: And [G2532] they went [G4198] to bury [G2290] her [G1473], and [G2532] they did not [G3756] find [G2147] of [G1722] her [G1473] but only the [G3588] skull [G2898], and [G2532] the [G3588] feet [G4228], and [G2532] the [G3588] palms [G2487] [of her the [G3588] hands [G5495].
36: And [G2532] they returned [G1994], and [G2532] announced [it to him [G1473]. And [G2532] he said [G2036], word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962] which [G3739] he spoke [G2980] by [G1722] hand [G5495] of the [G3588] his servant [G1401][G1473] Elijah the [G3588] Tishbite, saying [G3004], In [G1722] the [G3588] portion [of land [G3310] in Jezreel will eat [G2719] the [G3588] dogs [G2965] the [G3588] flesh [G4561] of Jezebel.
37: And [G2532] will be the [G3588] decaying flesh of Jezebel] as [G5613] dung [G2874] upon [G1909] face [G4383] of the [G3588] field in [G1722] the [G3588] portion [G3310] of Jezreel, so as [G5620] to not say [G3361][G2036], This [is [G3778] Jezebel.
