Leviticus Chapter 20 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Moses, saying [G3004],
2: And [G2532] to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, you will speak [G2980], saying [G3004], If [G1437] any [G5100] from the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, or [G2228] of the [G3588] [ones] being [G1096] foreigners [G4339] in [G1722] Israel, who [G3739] ever should give [G1325] the [G3588] his semen [G4690][G1473] to a chief [god , to death [G2288] let him be put to death [G2289]! the [G3588] tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484], the [people the [G3588] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] will stone [G3036] him [G1473] with [G1722] stones [G3037].
3: And [G2532] I [G1473] will set [G2186] the [G3588] my face [G4383][G1473] against [G1909] the [G3588] that man [G1565], and [G2532] I will destroy him [G1473] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] his people [G2992][G1473]. For [G3754] of the [G3588] his semen [G4690][G1473] he gave [G1325] to a chief [god , that [G2443] he should defile [G3392] the [G3588] my holy place [G1473], and [G2532] should profane the [G3588] name [G3686] -- the [G3588] [one] having been sanctified to me [G1473].
4: And if [G1437][G1161] in disdain should overlook [G5237] the [G3588] native-born of the [G3588] land '[G1093] [with] the [G3588]ir eyes [G3788][G1473] off the [G3588] that man [G1565], in [G1722] the [G3588] his giving [G1325][G1473] the [G3588] his semen [G4690][G1473] to a chief [god , to the [G3588] not [G3361] kill him [G1473],
5: then [G2532] I will set [G2186] the [G3588] my face [G4383][G1473] against [G1909] the [G3588] that man [G1565], and [G2532] the [G3588] his kin [G4772][G1473], and [G2532] I will destroy him [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] consenting with him [G1473], so as for [G5620] them to fornicate [G1608][G1473] with [G1519] the [G3588] ruling [gods of [G1537] the [G3588]ir people [G2992][G1473].
6: And [G2532] a soul [G5590] who [G3739] ever should follow after [G1872] ones who deliver oracles or [G2228] enchanters , so as [G5620] to fornicate [G1608] after [G3694] them [G1473], I will set [G2186] the [G3588] my face [G4383][G1473] against [G1909] the [G3588] that soul [G5590][G1473], and [G2532] I will destroy it [G1473] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] its people [G2992][G1473].
7: And [G2532] you will be sanctified , and [G2532] you will be pure ', for [G3754] [am] pure ' I [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473].
8: And [G2532] you will keep [G5442] the [G3588] orders of me [G1473], and [G2532] you will do [G4160] them [G1473]. I [am [G1473] Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] [one] sanctifying you [G1473].
9: man , a man who [G3739] ever wickedly [G2560] should speak [G2036] the [G3588] of his father [G3962][G1473] or [G2228] the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473], unto death [G2288] let him be put to death [G2289]! of his father [G3962][G1473] or [G2228] of his mother [G3384][G1473] wickedly [G2560] he spoke [G2036], he will be liable [G1777]
10: And [G2532] a man , a man who [G3739] ever should commit adultery [G3431] wife [G1135] [with] a man's , or [G2228] who [G3739] ever should commit adultery [G3431] [with] a wife [G1135] of the [G3588] his neighbor [G4139][G1473], to death [G2288] let them be put to death [G2289]! the [G3588] [man] committing adultery [G3431] and [G2532] the [G3588] [woman] committing adultery [G3431].
11: And [G2532] if [G1437] anyone [G5100] should have bedded [G2837] with [G3326] wife [G1135] of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], indecency of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473] to uncover , to death [G2288] let them be put to death [G2289]! both are liable [G1777].
12: And [G2532] if [G1437] anyone [G5100] should have bedded [G2837] with [G3326] his daughter-in-law [G3565][G1473], unto death [G2288] let them be put to death [G2289]! both were impious , they are liable [G1777].
13: And [G2532] who [G3739] ever should have bedded [G2837] with [G3326] a male as the marriage-bed [G2845] of a woman [G1135], an abomination did [G4160] both ; to death [G2288] let them be put to death [G2289]! they are liable [G1777].
14: Who [G3739] ever should take [G2983] a woman [G1135] and [G2532] the [G3588] her mother [G3384][G1473], a violation of the law it is ; in [G1722] fire [G4442] they will incinerate [G2618] him [G1473] and [G2532] them [G1473], and [G2532] there will not [G3756] be a violation of the law among [G1722] you [G1473].
15: And [G2532] who [G3739] ever should give over to [G1325] his laying with [G1473][G1722] a four-footed [creature [G5074], to death [G2288] let him be put to death [G2289]! and [G2532] the [G3588] four-footed [creature [G5074] you will kill .
16: And [G2532] a woman [G1135], whoever [G3748] should come forward [G4334] to [G4314] any [G3956] beast [G2934] to breed herself [G1473] by [G5259] it [G1473], you will kill the [G3588] woman [G1135] and [G2532] the [G3588] beast [G2934] -- unto death [G2288] let them be put to death [G2289]! they are liable [G1777].
17: Who [G3739] ever should take [G2983] the [G3588] his sister [G1473] of [G1537] his father [G3962][G1473], or [G2228] of [G1537] his mother [G3384][G1473], and [G2532] should look at [G1492] the [G3588] her indecency [G1473], and [G2532] she [G3778] should look at [G1492] the [G3588] his indecency [G1473], it is scornful [G3681], they will be utterly destroyed [G1842] before [G1799] sons [G5207] of their race [G1085][G1473], [for the] indecency of his sister [G1473] he uncovered -- his sin [G1473] he will receive [G2983].
18: And [G2532] a man who [G3739] ever should go to bed [G2837] with [G3326] a woman [G1135] sitting apart , and [G2532] will uncover the [G3588] her indecency [G1473], the [G3588] her flow [G4077][G1473] he uncovered , and [G2532] she [G3778] uncovered the [G3588] flow [G4511] of the [G3588] her blood [G1473]; will be utterly destroyed [G1842] both from [G1537] the [G3588]ir generation [G1074][G1473].
19: And [G2532] indecency sister of your father's [G3962][G1473] and [G2532] sister your mother's [G3384][G1473] you will not [G3756] uncover , for the [G3588] [G1063] [family] intimacy he uncovered ; their sin [G1473] they will carry .
20: And [G2532] who [G3739] ever should have gone to bed [G2837] with [G3326] his relative [G4773][G1473], indecency of the [G3588] his kin [G4772][G1473] he uncovered ; childless they will die .
21: And [G2532] a man who [G3739] ever [G1437] should take [G2983] wife [G1135] of the [G3588] brother of him [G1473], it is uncleanness ; indecency the [G3588] his brother's [G1473] he uncovered -- childless they will die .
22: And [G2532] you will keep [G5442] all [G3956] the [G3588] orders of me [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] my judgments [G2917][G1473]; and [G2532] you will do [G4160] them [G1473], then [G2532] no way should loathe [G4360] you [G1473] the [G3588] land '[G1093], into [G1519] which [G3739] I [G1473] bring [G1521] you [G1473] there [G1563] to dwell [G2730] upon [G1909] it [G1473].
23: And [G2532] do not [G3780] go [G4198] in [G1722] the [G3588] laws of the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484]! which [G3739] I eject [G1821] from you [G1473]; for [G3754] all these [things] [G3778][G3956] they did [G4160], and [G2532] I abhor them [G1473].
24: And [G2532] I said [G2036] to you [G1473], You [G1473] will inherit [G2816] the [G3588]ir land '[G1093][G1473]. And [G2532] I [G1473] will give [G1325] it to you [G1473][G1473] for [G1722] a possession ; a land '[G1093] flowing [G4482] milk [G1051] and [G2532] honey [G3192]. I [am [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] who [G3739] separated you [G1473] from all [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484].
25: And [G2532] you will separate yourselves [G1438] between the [G3588] cattle [G2934] of the [G3588] clean [G2513] and [G2532] unclean ; and [G2532] between the [G3588] winged creatures [G4071] of the [G3588] clean [G2513], and [G2532] the [G3588] unclean . And [G2532] you will not [G3756] make abhorrent the [G3588] your souls [G5590][G1473] among [G1722] the [G3588] cattle [G2934], and [G2532] among [G1722] the [G3588] winged creatures [G4071], and [G2532] among [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] reptiles [G2062] of the [G3588] land '[G1093], which [G3739] I [G1473] separated to you [G1473] for [G1722] uncleanness .
26: And [G2532] you will be holy to me [G1473], for [G3754] I [am [G1473] pure ', Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], the [G3588] [one] separating you [G1473] from all [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], to be mine [G1473].
27: And [G2532] a man or [G2228] woman [G1135] who [G3739] ever of them should become [G1096][G1473] a deliverer of oracles or [G2228] enchanter , to death [G2288] let them be put to death [G2289] -- both ! By stones [G3037] stone [G3036] them [G1473]! they are liable [G1777].
