2 Chronicles Chapter 30 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] Hezekiah sent unto [G1909] all [G3956] Israel and [G2532] Judah, and [G2532] letters [G1992] he wrote [G1125] unto [G1909] the [G3588] Ephraim and [G2532] Manasseh to come [G2064] into [G1519] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962] in [G1519] Jerusalem, the [G3588] to observe [G4160] the [G3588] passover to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] God '[G2316] of Israel.
2: And [G2532] planned [G1011] the [G3588] king , and [G2532] the [G3588] rulers , and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] in [G1722] Jerusalem to observe [G4160] the [G3588] passover in the [G3588] month [G3376] the [G3588] second [G1208],
3: not [G3756] for [G1063] they were] able [G1410] to observe [G4160] it [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] that time [G2540][G1565], for [G3754] the [G3588] priests [G2409] were not [G3756] sanctified enough [G2425], and [G2532] the [G3588] people [G2992] were not [G3756] gathered [G4863] in [G1722] Jerusalem.
4: And [G2532] was pleasing the [G3588] word '[G3056] before [G1726] the [G3588] king , and [G2532] before [G1726] the [G3588] assembly [G1577].
5: And [G2532] they established [G2476] a communication [G3056] the [G3588] to go through [G1330] by proclamation [G2782] in [G1722] all [G3956] Israel, from Beer-sheba unto [G2193] Dan, the [G3588] to come [G2064] and [G2532] to observe [G4160] the [G3588] passover to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] God '[G2316] of Israel in [G1519] Jerusalem. For [G3754] the [G3588] multitude [G4128] did not [G3756] do [G4160] according to [G2596] the [G3588] scripture [G1124].
6: And [G2532] went [G4198] the [G3588] [ones] running [G5143] with [G4862] the [G3588] letters [G1992] from [G3844] the [G3588] king and [G2532] from the [G3588] rulers , into [G1519] all [G3956] Israel and [G2532] Judah, according to [G2596] the [G3588] order of the [G3588] king , saying [G3004], the [G3588] Sons [G5207] of Israel, return [G1994] to [G4314] Boss '[G2962] God '[G2316] of Abraham, and [G2532] Isaac, and [G2532] Jacob! and [G2532] he will return to [G1994] the [G3588] [ones] having escaped , the [G3588] surviving [G2641] from hand [G5495] of king of Assyria.
7: And [G2532] do not [G3361] be [G1096] as [G2531] the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] your brothers [G1473]! the ones who [G3739] revolted from Boss '[G2962] God '[G2316] of the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] he delivered [G3860] them [G1473] into [G1519] desolation [G2050], as [G2531] you [G1473] see [G3708].
8: And [G2532] do not [G3361] harden [G4645] the [G3588] your necks [G5137][G1473] as [G5613] the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473]! Give [G1325] glory [G1391] [to the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316], and [G2532] enter [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] his sanctuary [G1473]! which [G3739] he sanctified into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `. And [G2532] serve [G1398] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] your God '[G2316][G1473]! and [G2532] he will turn from you [G1473] the [G3588] rage [G2372] of the [G3588] his anger [G3709][G1473].
9: For [G3754] in [G1722] the [G3588] your turning [G1994][G1473] to [G4314] Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] your brothers [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] children [G5043] of you [G1473] will be [G1722] [shown] compassions [G3628] before [G1726] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] taking them captive [G1473], and [G2532] he will return them [G1473] to [G1519] the [G3588] this land '[G1093][G3778]; for [G3754] compassionate [G1655] and [G2532] pitying [G3629] [is the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473], and [G2532] he will not turn [G3756] the [G3588] his face [G4383][G1473] from us [G1473], if [G1437] we should return [G1994] to [G4314] him [G1473].
10: And [G2532] were the [G3588] runners [G5143] traveling [G1279] city [G4172] by [G1537] city [G4172] in [G1722] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Ephraim and [G2532] Manasseh, and [G2532] unto [G2193] Zebulun. And [G2532] they became [G1096] as [victims [G5613] of ones ridiculing [G2606] them [G1473] and [G2532] deriding them [G1473].
11: But men from Asher, and [G2532] Manasseh, and [G2532] from Zebulun felt shame [G1788], and [G2532] they came [G2064] unto [G1519] Jerusalem.
12: And [G2532] in [G1722] Judah came [G1096] hand [G5495] of God '[G2316] to give [G1325] them [G1473] heart [G2588] one [G1520] to come [G2064] and [G2532] to do [G4160] according to [G2596] the [G3588] order of the [G3588] king and [G2532] of the [G3588] rulers , by [G1722] word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962].
13: And [G2532] gathered [G4863] in [G1722] Jerusalem people [G2992] many [G4183] the [G3588] to observe [G4160] the [G3588] holiday [G1859] of the [G3588] unleavened [breads in [G1722] the [G3588] month [G3376] the [G3588] second [G1208] -- assembly [G1577] vast [G4183] an exceedingly [G4970].
14: And [G2532] they rose up and [G2532] demolished [G2507] the [G3588] altars [G2379] in [G1722] Jerusalem; and [G2532] all [G3956] in [G1722] which [G3739] they burned incense [G2370] to the [G3588] lying [idols [G5571] they tore down and [G2532] tossed [G4495] into [G1519] the [G3588] rushing stream [G5493] Kidron.
15: And [G2532] they sacrificed [G2380] the [G3588] passover on the [G3588] fourteenth [G5065] of the [G3588] month [G3376] the [G3588] second [G1208]. And [G2532] the [G3588] priests [G2409] and [G2532] the [G3588] Levites felt shame [G1788], and [G2532] they sanctified [themselves , and [G2532] they offered [G1533] whole burnt-offerings [G3646] in [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962].
16: And [G2532] they stood [G2476] at [G1909] the [G3588]ir station [G4714][G1473] according to [G2596] the [G3588]ir responsibility [G2917][G1473], according to [G2596] the [G3588] commandment [G1785] of Moses man of the [G3588] God '[G2316]. And [G2532] the [G3588] priests [G2409] received [G1209] the [G3588] blood from out of [G1537] hand [G5495] of the [G3588] Levites.
17: For [G3754] a multitude [G4128] of the [G3588] assembly [G1577] was not [G3756] purified . And [G2532] the [G3588] Levites were the [G3588] to sacrifice [G2380] the [G3588] passover to all [G3956] the [G3588] not [G3361] able [G1410] to be purified to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962].
18: For [G3754] the [G3588] vast [part [G4183] of the [G3588] people [G2992] from Ephraim, and [G2532] Manasseh, and [G2532] Issachar, and [G2532] Zebulun, were not [G3756] purified ; but even [G2532] they ate [G2068] the [G3588] passover not [G3756] according to [G3844] the [G3588] scripture [G1124]. And [G2532] Hezekiah prayed [G4336] for [G4012] them [G1473], saying [G3004], Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] good God '[G2316] the [G3588] atone for [G5228] all [G3956]!
19: heart [G2588] [even] straightening out [G2720] [for them] to inquire of [G1567] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473], even [G2532] not [purified [G3756] as [G5613] according to [G2596] the [G3588] purity of the [G3588] holy [things] .
20: And [G2532] BOSS heeded [G1873][G2962] the [G3588] Hezekiah, and [G2532] healed [G2390] the [G3588] people [G2992].
21: And [G2532] observed [G4160] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel the [G3588] being found [G2147] in [G1722] Jerusalem] the [G3588] holiday [G1859] of the [G3588] unleavened [breads seven [G2033] days [G2250] with [G1722] gladness [G2167] great [G3173]. And [G2532] they sang praise to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] day [G2250] by [G2596] day [G2250], even [G2532] the [G3588] priests [G2409] and [G2532] the [G3588] Levites with [G1722] instruments of strength [G2479] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962].
22: And [G2532] Hezekiah spoke [G2980] unto [G1909] heart [G2588] of all [G3956] of the [G3588] Levites, and [G2532] of the [G3588] [ones] perceiving [G4920] understanding [G4907] with good in the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] they completed [G4931] the [G3588] holiday [G1859] of the [G3588] unleavened [breads in seven [G2033] days [G2250], sacrificing [G2380] a sacrifice [G2378] of deliverance [G4992], and [G2532] making acknowledgment [G1843] [to the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473].
23: And [G2532] counseled [G1011] all [G3956] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] to observe [G4160] seven [G2033] days [G2250] another . And [G2532] they observed [G4160] another seven [G2033] days [G2250] with [G1722] gladness [G2167].
24: For [G3754] Hezekiah the [G3588] king of Judah dedicated to all [G3956] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] a thousand [G5507] calves [G3448], and [G2532] seven thousand [G2035] sheep [G4263]. And [G2532] the [G3588] rulers dedicated for the [G3588] people [G2992] calves [G3448] a thousand [G5507], and [G2532] sheep [G4263] ten [G1176] thousand [G5505], and [G2532] were sanctified of the [G3588] priests [G2409] in [G1519] multitude [G4128].
25: And [G2532] was glad [G2165] all [G3956] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] of Judah], and [G2532] the [G3588] priests [G2409], and [G2532] the [G3588] Levites, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] the [G3588] coming [G2064] from [G1537] Israel, and [G2532] for the [G3588]eigners [G4339] the [G3588] coming [G2064] from land '[G1093] of Israel, and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] Judah.
26: And [G2532] there was [G1096] gladness [G2167] great [G3173] in [G1722] Jerusalem, for [G3754] from days [G2250] of Solomon son [G5207] of David king of Israel there was not [G3756][G1096] such [G5108] a holiday [G1859] in [G1722] Jerusalem.
27: And [G2532] rose up the [G3588] priests [G2409] the [G3588] Levites] and [G2532] blessed [G2127] the [G3588] people [G2992], and [G2532] was heeded [G1873] the [G3588]ir voice [G5456][G1473], and [G2532] came [G2064] the [G3588]ir prayer [G4335][G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] home [G2732] the [G3588] his sacred [G1473] in [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772].
