1: O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473], upon [G1909] you [G1473] I hope [G1679]. Deliver [G4982] me [G1473] from [G1537] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] pursuing [G1377] me [G1473], and [G2532] rescue [G4506] me [G1473]!
2: Lest at any time [G3379] should be snatched away as [by [G5613] a lion [G3023] the [G3588] soul [G5590] of me [G1473], [while there is] none [G3361] being for ransoming [G3084] nor [G3366] delivering [G4982].
3: O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473], if [G1487] I did [G4160] this [G3778], if [G1487] there is injustice in [G1722] my hands [G5495][G1473],
4: if [G1487] I recompensed to the [G3588] [ones] recompensing to me [G1473] with bad [things] [G2556], may I fall away thus from the [G3588] enemies [G2190] of me [G1473] empty [G2756] --
5: may pursue [G2614] then the [G3588] enemy [G2190] the [G3588] soul [G5590] of me [G1473], and [G2532] may he overtake [it [G2638]; and [G2532] may he trample [G2662] into [G1519] land '[G1093] the [G3588] my life [G2222][G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] my glory [G1391][G1473] in [G1519] dirt [G5522] may be encamped [G2681].
6: Rise up , O Boss '[G2962], in [G1722] your anger [G3709][G1473]! Be raised up high [G5312] in [G1722] the [G3588] limits [G4009] of the [G3588] your enemies [G2190][G1473]! And [G2532] awaken [G1825], O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473]! in [G1722] order in which [G3739] you gave charge [G1781].
7: And [G2532] a gathering [G4864] of peoples [G2992] will encircle [G2944] you [G1473]; and [G2532] for [G5228] this [G3778] unto [G1519] height [G5311] return [G1994]!
8: Boss '[G2962] judges [G2919] peoples [G2992]. Judge [G2919] me [G1473], O Boss '[G2962], according to [G2596] the [G3588] my righteousness [G1343][G1473]! and [G2532] according to [G2596] the [G3588] my innocence [G1473] [judge] for [G1909] me [G1473]!
9: Finish off entirely [G4931] indeed [G1211] wickedness [G4189] of sinners ! And [G2532] you will straighten [G2720] just [G1342], examining hearts [G2588] and [G2532] kidneys [G3510], O the [G3588] God '[G2316], justly [G1346].
10: the [G3588] My help [G1473] [is] from [G3844] the [G3588] God '[G2316], the [G3588] [one] delivering [G4982] the [G3588] straight [G2117] in the [G3588] heart [G2588].
11: The [G3588] God '[G2316] judge [G2923] [is] a just [G1342], and [G2532] strong [G2478], and [G2532] lenient , not [G3361] anger [G3709] bringing on [G1863] [G2596] each [G1538] day [G2250].
12: If [G1437] you should not [G3361] turn [G1994], the [G3588] his broadsword [G4501][G1473] he will brighten . the [G3588] His bow [G5115][G1473] he stretched tight , and [G2532] he prepared [G2090] it [G1473];
13: And [G2532] by [G1722] it [G1473] he prepared [G2090] weapons [G4632] of death [G2288]; the [G3588] his arrows [G1473] for the [G3588] [ones] for burning [G2545] he brought to completion .
14: look [G2400], [the wicked] travails [G5605] with iniquity ; he conceived [G4815] misery [G4192], and [G2532] gave birth to [G5088] lawlessness .
15: a pit He dug up [G3736], even [G2532] he dug it [G1473], and [G2532] he will fall [G1706] into [G1519] a cesspool which [G3739] he worked [G2038].
16: will return [G1994] the [G3588] His misery [G4192][G1473] unto [G1519] his [own] head [G2776][G1473]; and [G2532] upon [G1909] his head [G1473] the [G3588] his injustice [G1473] will come down [G2597].
17: I will make acknowledgment [G1843] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] according to [G2596] the [G3588] his righteousness [G1343][G1473]; and [G2532] I will strum [G5567] to the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] highest [G5310].
