1 Kings Chapter 10 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] queen of Sheba heard the [G3588] name [G3686] of Solomon, and [G2532] the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] she came [G2064] the [G3588] to test [G3985] him [G1473] with [G1722] enigmas .
2: And [G2532] she came [G2064] to [G1519] Jerusalem with [G1722] force [G1411] heavy an exceedingly [G4970], and [G2532] camels [G2574] lifting aromatics , and [G2532] gold [G5553] much [G4183] exceedingly [G4970], and [G2532] stone [G3037] valuable [G5093] much [G4183]. And [G2532] she went [G2064] to [G4314] king Solomon. And [G2532] she spoke [G2980] to him [G1473] all [G3956] as many [things] as [G3745] was in [G1722] the [G3588] her heart [G2588][G1473].
3: And [G2532] explained to her [G1473] Solomon] all [G3956] the [G3588] words [G3056] of her [questions [G1473]. There was not [G3756] a word [G3056] being overlooked by [G5259] the [G3588] king which [G3739] he did not [G3756] explain to her [G1473].
4: And [G2532] looked [at] [G1492] queen of Sheba] all [G3956] the [G3588] intellect [G5428] of Solomon, and [G2532] the [G3588] house [G3624] which [G3739] he built [G3618],
5: and [G2532] the [G3588] foods [G1033] for Solomon, and [G2532] for the [G3588]m [G2515] of his servants [G3816][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] position of his ministers [G3011][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir clothes [G2441][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his wine servers [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his whole burnt-offering [G1473] which [G3739] he offered in [G1722] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962]; and [G2532] beside [G1537] herself [G1438] she was [G1096].
6: And [G2532] she said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] king Solomon, [is] true the [G3588] word [G3056] which [G3739] I heard in [G1722] the [G3588] my land '[G1093][G1473] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] word [G3056] [about] you [G1473], and [G2532] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] your intellect [G5428][G1473].
7: And [G2532] not [G3756] I did trust '[G4100]in the [G3588] [ones] speaking [G2046] to me [G1473], until [G2193] of which [G3739] I came [G3854] and [G2532] have seen [G3708] the [G3588] my eyes [G3788][G1473]. And [G2532] look [G2400], it not [G3756] is according to [G2596] the [G3588] half [G2255] as [G2531] they reported to me [G1473]. You have added [G4369] wisdom [G4678] and [G2532] good [things] over [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] report which [G3739] I heard in [G1722] the [G3588] my land '[G1093][G1473].
8: Blessed [G3107] [are] the [G3588] your wives [G1135][G1473], and [G2532] Blessed [G3107] [are] the [G3588] your servants [G3816][G1473] these [G3778] the [G3588] standing [G3936] before [G1799] you [G1473] continually [G1275], the [G3588] [ones] hearing the [G3588] your intellect [G5428][G1473].
9: May be [G1096] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] blessing [G2127] whom [G3739] he wants [G2309] by [G1722] you [G1473], to put [G1325] you [G1473] upon [G1909] throne [G2362] of Israel; because [G1223] the [G3588] BOSS loves [G2962] the [G3588] Israel [to the [G3588] establish [G2476] it [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `, and [G2532] to set [G5087] you [G1473] for [G1519] king over [G1909] them [G1473], the [G3588] to execute [G4160] judgment [G2917] in [G1722] righteousness [G1343], and [G2532] in [G1722] their equity [G2917][G1473].
10: And [G2532] she gave [G1325] the [G3588] to Solomon a hundred [G1540] and [G2532] twenty [G1501] talents [G5007] of gold [G5553], and [G2532] spices much [G4183] exceedingly [G4970], and [G2532] stone [G3037] valuable [G5093]. There had not come [G3756][G2064] as [G2596] the [G3588] those spices [G1565] yet [G2089] in [G1519] multitude [G4128] which [G3739] gave [G1325] queen of Sheba the [G3588] to king Solomon.
11: And [G2532] the [G3588] ship [G3491] of Hiram, the [G3588] [one] carrying the [G3588] gold [G5553] from out of [G1537] Ophir, brought [G5342] timbers [G3586] hewn much [G4183] exceedingly [G4970], and [G2532] stone [G3037] valuable [G5093].
12: And [G2532] made [G4160] the [G3588] king the [G3588] timbers [G3586] the [G3588] hewn for supports of the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] king , and [G2532] stringed instruments , and [G2532] lutes [for] the [G3588] singers . There had not come [G3756][G2064] such [G5108] timbers [G3586] unhewn unto [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], nor [G3761] was seen [G3708] somewhere [G4225] until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778].
13: And [G2532] the [G3588] king Solomon gave [G1325] to the [G3588] queen of Sheba all [G3956] as much as [G3745] she wanted [G2309], and [G2532] as much as [G3745] she asked , outside [G1623] of all [G3956] which [G3739] was given [G1325] to her [G1473] through [G1223] hand [G5495] of the [G3588] king Solomon. And [G2532] she returned and [G2532] came [G2064] unto [G1519] the [G3588] her land '[G1093][G1473], she [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] her servants [G3816][G1473].
14: And [G2532] was the [G3588] weight of the [G3588] gold [G5553] that the [G3588] came [G2064] the [G3588] to Solomon in [G1722] year [G1763] one [G1520] -- six hundred [G1812] sixty [G1835] and [G2532] six [G1803] talents [G5007] of gold [G5553],
15: apart from [G5565] the [G3588] tribute [G5411] of the [G3588] [ones] submitting [G5293], and [G2532] the [G3588] merchants [G1713], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] kings of the [G3588] other side [of the Jordan [G4008], and [G2532] the [G3588] satraps of the [G3588] land '[G1093].
16: And [G2532] made [G4160] the [G3588] king Solomon] two hundred [G1250] spears of gold [G5552] hammered out -- six hundred [weights [G1812] of gold [G5552] was used for [G1909] the [G3588] spear the [G3588] [one] [G1520].
17: And [G2532] he made [G4160] three hundred [G5145] oblong shields [G2375] of gold [G5557] hammered out . Three [G5140] minas [G3414] of gold [G5553] [were] used for [G1909] the [G3588] oblong shield [G2375] the [G3588] [one] [G1520]. And [G2532] put [G1325] them [G1473] the [G3588] king in [G1519] house [G3624] of forest of the [G3588] Lebanon.
18: And [G2532] made [G4160] the [G3588] king throne [G2362] ivory [G1661] a great [G3173], and [G2532] he gilded it [G1473] gold [G5553] in unadulterated [G1384].
19: [there were] Six [G1803] stairs to the [G3588] throne [G2362], and [G2532] upper part [had] calves [G3448] from [G1537] the [places [G3588] behind [G3694] it [G1473] to the [G3588] throne [G2362]. And [There were [G2532] hand [rails [G5495] on this side and that side upon [G1909] the [G3588] place [G5117] of the [G3588] chair [G2515], and [G2532] two [G1417] lions [G3023] standing [G2476] by [G3844] the [G3588] hand [rails [G5495].
20: And [there were [G2532] twelve [G1427] lions [G3023] standing [G2476] upon [G1909] the [G3588] six [G1803] stairs on this side and that side . There was not [G3756][G1096] such [G3779] in [G1722] any [G3956] government '.
21: And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] vessels [G4632], the [G3588] [ones] [used] by [G5259] the [G3588] Solomon, were of [G1096] gold [G5552]. And [G2532] bathing tubs of gold [G5552], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] vessels [G4632] of house [G3624] of forest of the [G3588] Lebanon of gold [G5553] were completely [G4788]. And [G2532] no [G3756] there was silver , for [G3754] it was not [G3756] thought [anything [G3049] in [G1722] the [G3588] days [G2250] of Solomon.
22: For [G3754] a ship [G3491] of Tarshish [belonged to the [G3588] king Solomon upon [G1909] the [G3588] sea [G2281] with [G3326] the [G3588] ships [G3491] of Hiram. One [G1520] every [G1223] three [G5140] years [G2094] came [G2064] to the [G3588] king ship [G3491] out of [G1537] Tarshish [with] gold [G5553] and [G2532] silver , and [G2532] stones [G3037] turned and [G2532] hewn .
23: And [G2532] Solomon was magnified [G3170] above [G5228] all [G3956] the [G3588] kings of the [G3588] land '[G1093] in riches [G4149] and [G2532] intellect [G5428].
24: And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] kings of the [G3588] land '[G1093] sought [G2212] the [G3588] face [G4383] of Solomon the [G3588] to hear of the [G3588] his intellect [G5428][G1473], which [G3739] BOSS put [G1325][G2962] in [G1722] the [G3588] his heart [G2588][G1473].
25: And [G2532] to him [G1473] brought [G5342] each [G1538] the [G3588] his gifts [G1435][G1473], items [G4632] of silver , and [G2532] items [G4632] of gold [G5552], and [G2532] clothes [G2441], balsam and [G2532] spices , and [G2532] horses [G2462], and [G2532] mules the [G3588] according to [G2596] year [G1763] by [G1519] year [G1763].
26: And [G2532] Solomon brought [G4863] chariots and [G2532] horsemen [G2460]. And [G2532] there were to him [G1473] a thousand [G5507] and [G2532] four hundred [G5071] chariots , and [G2532] twelve [G1427] thousand [G5505] horsemen [G2460]. And [G2532] he put [G5087] them [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] cities [G4172] of the [G3588] chariots , and [G2532] with [G3326] the [G3588] king in [G1722] Jerusalem.
27: And [G2532] put [G1325] the [G3588] king the [G3588] silver in [G1722] Jerusalem as [G5613] stones [G3037], and [G2532] the [G3588] cedars [G2748] he put [G1325] as [G5613] the [G3588] sycamine trees [G4807] the [G3588] in [G1722] the [G3588] plain [G3977] in [G1519] multitude [G4128].
28: And [G2532] the [G3588] exiting [G1841] of the [G3588] horsemen [G2460] of Solomon [was] from out of [G1537] Egypt. And [G2532] from out of [G1537] Kue the [G3588] merchants [G1713] of the [G3588] king took [merchandise [G2983] from out of [G1537] Kue in [G1722] barter .
29: And [G2532] there went up the [G3588] an exiting [G1841] from out of [G1537] Egypt -- a chariot for six hundred [pieces [G1812] of silver , and [G2532] a horse [G2462] for a hundred [G1540] fifty [pieces [G4004] of silver . And [G2532] thus [G3779] for all [G3956] the [G3588] kings of Hittites, and [G2532] to the [G3588] kings of Syria, by [G1223] their hand [G5495][G1473] they came forth [G1607].
