And [G2532] after [G3326] the [G3588]se words '[G3056][G3778] was abated [G2869] the [G3588] king"s the [G3588] rage [G2372], and [G2532] no longer [G3765] was mentioned [G3403] the [G3588] Vashti], remembering [G3421] as much as [G3745] she spoke [G2980], and [G2532] how [G5613] he condemned [G2632] her [G1473].

And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] servants [G1249] of the [G3588] king , Let there be sought [G2212] to the [G3588] king young women [G2877] uncorrupted , beautiful [G2570] the [G3588] in appearance [G1491]!

And [G2532] will place [G2525] the [G3588] king magistrates in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] places [G5561] of the [G3588] his government '[G1473], and [G2532] let them choose [G1951] young women [G2877], virgins , beautiful [G2570] the [G3588] in appearance [G1491] [to be brought] to [G1519] Shushan the [G3588] city [G4172], into [G1519] the [G3588] chamber of the women ! And [G2532] let them be delivered [G3860] to the [G3588] eunuch [G2135] of the [G3588] king , the [G3588] keeper [G5441] of the [G3588] women [G1135]! And [G2532] let there be given [to them [G1325] a beauty treatment , and [G2532] the [G3588] remaining [G3062] care [G1958]!

And [G2532] the [G3588] woman [G1135] who [G3739] ever should be pleasing to the [G3588] king will reign instead of Vashti. And [G2532] pleased the [G3588] king the [G3588] thing [G4229], and [G2532] he did [G4160] so [G3779].

And [G2532] there was a man , a Jew, in [G1722] Shushan the [G3588] city [G4172]. And [G2532] name [G3686] of him [G1473] [was] Mordecai, the [G3588] son of the [G3588] Jair, the [son the [G3588] of Shimei, the [son the [G3588] of Kish, of [G1537] tribe [G5443] of Benjamin;

who [G3739] was a captive from [G1537] Jerusalem, which [G3739] captured Nebuchadnezzar the [G3588] king of Babylon].

And [G2532] there was to this man [G3778] a child [G3816] [that] he brought up , daughter [G2364] of brother of his father [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] name [G3686] of her [G1473] [was] Esther. And at [G1722][G1161] the [G3588] changeover [G3337] of her [G1473] the [G3588] parents [G1118], he instructed [G3811] her [G1473] to himself [G1438] for [G1519] a woman [G1135]. And [G2532] was the [G3588] young woman [G2877] good [G2570] the [G3588] in appearance [G1491].

And [G2532] when [G3753] was heard the [G3588] [G3588] king"s order , were gathered together [G4863] many [G4183] young women [G2877] in [G1519] Shushan the [G3588] city [G4172], by [G5259] hand [G5495] of Hegai; and [G2532] Esther was conveyed ' to [G4314] Hegai the [G3588] keeper [G5441] of the [G3588] women [G1135].

And [G2532] pleased him [G1473] the [G3588] young woman [G2877], and [G2532] she found [G2147] favor [G5484] before [G1799] him [G1473]. And [G2532] he hastened [G4692] to give [G1325] her [G1473] the [G3588] beauty treatment , and [G2532] [her the [G3588] portion [G3310], and [G2532] the [G3588] seven [G2033] young women [G2877] the [G3588] being exhibited to her [G1473] from [G1537] royal [palace . And [G2532] he treated [G5530] her [G1473] well [G2573], and [G2532] the [G3588] her handmaidens [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] chamber of the women .

But [G2532] did not [G3756] plainly show [G5263] Esther the [G3588] her race [G1085][G1473], nor [G3761] [her the [G3588] fatherland [G3968]. for the [G3588] [G1063] Mordecai gave charge [G1781] to her [G1473] not [G3361] to report [it .

And during [G2596] each [G1538][G1161] day [G2250] Mordecai walked [G4043] the [G3588] by [G2596] the [G3588] courtyard the [G3588] feminine [G1134], overseeing [G1983] what [G5100] would come to pass with Esther [G4819].

For this [G3778][G1063] was time [G2540] for a young woman [G2877] to enter [G1525] to [G4314] the [G3588] king , whenever [G3752] she should have fulfilled months [G3376] twelve [G1177], for thus [G3779][G1063] [are] fulfilled the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] treatment [G2322], months [G3376] six [G1803] with [G1722] the [G3588] aromatics and [G2532] with [G1722] the [G3588] beauty treatments for the [G3588] women [G1135],

and [G2532] months [G3376] six [G1803] being anointed with myrrh oil [G1637], and [G2532] then [G5119] she enters [G1531] to [G4314] the [G3588] king . And [G2532] to whom [G3739] ever he should tell [G2036], he delivers [G3860] her [G1473] to enter together [G4897] with him [G1473], from the [G3588] chamber of the women unto [G2193] the [G3588] palaces .

In the evening she enters [G1531], and [G2532] by [G4314] day [G2250] she runs to [G1519] the [G3588] chamber of the women the [G3588] second [G1208], where [G3739] Hegai the [G3588] eunuch [G2135] of the [G3588] king the [G3588] keeper [G5441] of the [G3588] women [is [G1135]. And [G2532] no longer [G3765] does she enter [G1531] to [G4314] the [G3588] king if [G1437] she should not [G3361] be called [G2564] by name [G3686].

And in [G1722][G1161] the [G3588] fulfilling the [G3588] time [G5550], Esther the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of Abihail, brother of father [G3962] of Mordecai, entered [G1525] to [G1519] the [G3588] king . Not one [thing] [G3762] she disregarded which [G3739] gave charge [G1781] to her [G1473] the [G3588] eunuch [G2135] the [G3588] keeper [G5441] of the [G3588] women [G1135]. was For [G1063] Esther] found [G2147] in favor [G5484] by [G3844] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] seeing her [G1473].

And [G2532] Esther entered [G1525] to [G4314] Artaxerxes the [G3588] king in the [G3588] tenth [G1181] month [G3376], which [G3739] is Tebeth , in the [G3588] seventh [G1442] year [G2094] of the [G3588] his kingship [G1473].

And [G2532] loved passionately the [G3588] king Esther], and [G2532] she found [G2147] favor [G5484] above [G3844] all [G3956] the [G3588] virgins [G3933]; and [G2532] he placed upon [G2007] her [G1473] the [G3588] diadem [G1238] the [G3588] feminine [G1134].

And [G2532] made [G4160] the [G3588] king a banquet [G4224] for all [G3956] the [G3588] his friends [G5384][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] powerful ones [G1411], for [G1909] days [G2250] seven [G2033]. And [G2532] he exalted [G5312] the [G3588] wedding [feasts [G1062] of Esther; and [G2532] a release he made [G4160] to the [G3588] [ones] under [G5259] the [G3588] his government '[G1473].

the [G3588] But [G1161] Mordecai attended to [affairs [G2323] in [G1722] the [G3588] courtyard .

the [G3588] Now [G1161] Esther did not [G3756] plainly tell [G5263] of the [G3588] her fatherland [G3968][G1473], for thus [G3779][G1063] gave charge [G1781] to her [G1473] Mordecai], to fear [G5399] the [G3588] God, and [G2532] to observe [G4160] the [G3588] his orders [G1473], as [G2531] she was with [G3326] him [G1473]. And [G2532] Esther did not [G3756] change [G3337] the [G3588] her conduct [G1473].

And [G2532] fretted [G3076] the [G3588] two [G1417] eunuchs [G2135] of the [G3588] king , and [G2532] the [G3588] chiefs of the body guards , for [G3754] Mordecai advanced [G4254]. And [G2532] they sought [G2212] to kill Artaxerxes the [G3588] king .

And [G2532] was made manifest [G1213] to Mordecai the [G3588] word '[G3056], and [G2532] he signaled [G4591] it [G1473] [to the [G3588] Esther, and [G2532] she [G1473] revealed [G1718] to the [G3588] king the [things] [G3588] of the [G3588] plot [G1917].

And the [G3588][G1161] king examined the [G3588] two [G1417] eunuchs [G2135], and [G2532] he hanged [G2910] them [G1473]. And [G2532] gave order [G2004] the [G3588] king to write for [G1519] a memorial [G3422] in [G1722] the [G3588] royal library about [G5228] the [G3588] good-will [G2133] of Mordecai with [G1722] commendation .
