Job Chapter 7 -

» Job » Chapter 7
1
In either way [G4220] not [G3780] a trial is the [G3588] existence of man upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] as [G5618] hireling [G3407] daily the [G3588] his life [G2222][G1473],
2
or [G2228] as [G5618] an attendant [G2324] in awe of the [G3588] his boss [G2962][G1473], and [G2532] attaining [G5177] for shade [G4639]; or [G2228] as if [G5618] a hireling [G3411] awaiting the [G3588] his wage [G3408][G1473]?
3
So [G3779] I also [G2504] waited [G5278] months [G3376] in vain [G2756]; and nights [G3571][G1161] of griefs [G3601] given [G1325] to me [G1473] are .
4
When [G1437] I should go to bed [G2837], I say [G3004], When [will it be [G4219] the [G3588] day [G2250]? and [G5613][G1161] whenever I rise up , again [I say [G3825], When [G4219] [will it be] evening [G2073]? full [G4134] And [G1161] I am [G1096] of griefs [G3601], from evening [G2073] unto [G2193] morning [G4404].
5
is befouled And [G1161] my [G1473] the [G3588] body [G4983] in [G1722] rottenness of worms [G4663], and I melt away [G5080][G1161] [with] clods of land '[G1093] off pus scraping .
6
And the [G3588][G1161] my existence [G1473] is lighter than [G1645] speech [G2981], and has perished [G1161] in [G1722] vain [G2756] hope [G1680].
7
Remember [G3403] then [G3767] that [G3754] my wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151][G1473] the [G3588] is life [G2222]; and [G2532] no longer [G3765] will return back [G1880] my eye [G3788][G1473] to look [at] [G1492] good .
8
will not look round about [G3756][G4017] eye [G3788] of one seeing [G3708] me [G1473]; the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473] [are] on [G1722] me [G1473], and [G2532] I am not [G3765].
9
[I am] as [G5618] a cloud [G3509] being cleared away from raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]; for if [G1437][G1063] a man should go down [G2597] into [G1519] Hades , no longer [G3765] in any way should he go up ;
10
[and] neither [G3761] in any way will he return [G1994] unto [G1519] the [G3588] [his] own [G2398] house [G3624], nor [G3761] in any way will recognize [G1921] him [G1473] any more [G2089] the [G3588] his place [G5117][G1473].
11
Nevertheless then [G3767], nor [G3761] will I [G1473] spare [G5339] the [G3588] mouth [G4750] of me [G1473]; I will speak [G2980] in [G1722] distress being the [G3588] of my wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151][G1473]; I will open bitterness [G4088] of soul [G5590] of me [G1473] being held in [G4912].
12
Is it that [G4220] I am a sea [G2281] or [G2228] a dragon [G1404], that [G3754] you delegated over [G1909] me [G1473] a guard [G5438]?
13
I said [G2036] that [G3754] will comfort [G3870] me [G1473] the [G3588] my bed [G2825][G1473], and I will offer [G1161] to [G4314] myself [G1683] my own [G2398] word [G3056] the [G3588] in my bed [G2845][G1473].
14
You frighten [G1629] me [G1473] [with] dreams [G1798], and [G2532] with [G1722] visions [G3705] you strike terror in me [G1473].
15
You will dismiss from my wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151][G1473] the [G3588] soul [G5590] of me [G1473], from [G1161] and [G1161] death [G2288] the [G3588] my bones [G3747][G1473].
16
not [G3756] For [G1063] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) ` I will live [G2198], that [G2443] I should patiently wait [G3114]. Depart from me [G1473], [is] empty [G2756] for [G1063] my [G1473] the [G3588] livelihood !
17
For what [G5100][G1063] is man that [G3754] you magnified [G3170] him [G1473]? or [G2228] that [G3754] you heed [G4337] the [G3588] mind [G3563] in [G1519] him [G1473]?
18
Or [G2228] him a visit [G1984][G1473] will you make [G4160] until [G2193] the morning [G4404]; and [G2532] for [G1519] rest will you judge him [G1473][G2919]?
19
For how long [G2193][G5100] do you not allow [G3756][G1439] me [G1473], nor [G3761] let me go [G1473], until [G2193] whenever I should swallow down [G2666] the [G3588] my spittle [G1473] in [G1722] grief [G3601]?
20
If [G1487] I [G1473] sinned , how [G5100] am I able [G1410] against you [G1473] to act out [G4238], O one the [G3588] having knowledge of [G1987] the [G3588] mind [G3563] of the [G3588] men ? Why did [G1302] you establish [G5087] me [G1473] as your accuser [G1473], and I am [G1161] unto [G1909] you [G1473] a load [G5413]?
21
And [G2532] why did [G1302] you not appoint [G3756][G4160] of the [G3588] my lawlessness [G1473] to forgetfulness [G3024], and [for [G2532] a cleansing [G2512] of the [G3588] my sin [G1473]? But now [G3568][G1161] into [G1519] land '[G1093] I will go forth , for rising early [G3719] and [G1161] no longer [G3765] I am .
