1: vision [G3706] against [G2596] Babylon which [G3739] looked [at] [G1492] Isaiah son [G5207] of Amoz].
2: upon [G1909] a raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] plain [G3977] Lift up a sign [G4592]! Raise up high [G5312] the [G3588] voice [G5456] to them [G1473]! Do not [G3361] fear [G5399]! Call for aid [G3870] with the [G3588] hand [G5495]! Open , O the [G3588] rulers !
3: I [G1473] order [G4929] and [G2532] I [G1473] convey ' them [G1473]; giants come [G2064] to fill [G4137] the [G3588] my rage [G2372][G1473], rejoicing [G5463] together and [G2532] insulting [G5195].
4: A voice [G5456] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] of many [G4183] upon [G1909] the [G3588] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735], like [G3664] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] many [G4183]; a voice [G5456] of kings and [G2532] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] being brought together [G4863]. Boss '[G2962] of Hosts [G4519] has given charge [G1781] to an tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] of armed warriors .
5: They come [G2064] from out of [G1537] a land '[G1093] at a distance [G4207], from extremity of foundation [G2310] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]; Boss '[G2962] and [G2532] the [G3588] his armed warriors [G1473], to ruin [G2704] all [G3956] the [G3588] world [G3611].
6: Shriek [G3649]! [is] near [G1451] for [G1063] day [G2250] [of the] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] destruction by [G3844] God '[G2316] will come [G2240].
7: Because of [G1223] this [G3778] every [G3956] hand [G5495] will be loosened [G1590], and [G2532] every [G3956] soul [G5590] of man will be timid [G1168].
8: And [G2532] will be disturbed [G5015] the [G3588] ambassadors , and [G2532] their pangs [G5604][G1473] they will have [G2192] as [G5613] a woman [G1135] giving birth [G5088]; and [G2532] they will lament together , another [G2087] to [G4314] the [G3588] another [G2087]; and [G2532] they will be startled [G1839]; and [G2532] the [G3588] countenance [G4383] as [G5613] a flame [G5395] they will change [G3328].
9: For look [G2400][G1063] day [G2250] of Boss '[G2962] comes [G2064]; incurable rage [G2372] and [G2532] anger [G3709] to make [G5087] the [G3588] world [G3611] desolate [G2048], and [G2532] the [G3588] sinners to destroy from out of [G1537] it [G1473].
10: For the [G3588][G1063] stars of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] the [G3588] Orion, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] of the [G3588]ir light [G5457][G1473] will not [G3756] give [G1325]; and [G2532] will be made dark [G4654] of the [G3588] sun [G2246] the rising , and [G2532] the [G3588] moon [G4582] will not [G3756] give [G1325] the [G3588] her light [G5457][G1473].
11: And [G2532] I charge [G1781] to the [G3588] world [G3611] entire [G3650] evils [G2556], and [G2532] to the [G3588] impious the [G3588]ir sins [G1473]; and [G2532] I will destroy insolence [G5196] of lawless ones ; and [G2532] insolence [G5196] of proud [G5244] I will abase [G5013].
12: And [G2532] will be the [G3588] [ones] being left [G2641] rare [G1784] more [G3123] than [G2228] the [G3588] gold [G5553] the [G3588] unfired ; and [G2532] a man more [G3123] rare [G1784] will be than [G2228] the [G3588] stone [G3037], the [G3588] [one] of [G1537] Ophir.
13: For the [G3588][G1063] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] will be enraged [G2373], and [G2532] the [G3588] land '[G1093] will be shaken [G4579] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] its foundation [G2310][G1473], because of [G1223] rage [G2372] of anger [G3709] of Boss '[G2962] of Hosts [G4519] in [G1722] the [G3588] day [G2250] which [G3739] ever should come about [G1904] the [G3588] his rage [G2372][G1473].
14: And [G2532] will be the [G3588] [ones] being left behind [G2641] as [G5613] a young doe fleeing [G5343], and [G2532] as [G5613] a sheep [G4263] wandering [G4105]; and [G2532] there is no one [G3756] the [G3588] gathering [G4863] so as for [G5620] a man to [G1519] the [G3588] his people [G2992][G1473] to return ; and [G2532] a man unto [G1519] the [G3588] his own place [G5561][G1438] will take flight [G1377].
15: For who [G3739][G1063] ever should capture will be vanquished [G2274]; and [G2532] the ones who [G3748] being brought together [G4863] are will fall [G4098] by [G1722] sword [G3162].
16: And [G2532] the [G3588]ir children [G5043][G1473] they will dash before [G1799] them [G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588]ir houses [G3614][G1473] they will despoil ; and [G2532] the [G3588]ir women [G1135][G1473] they will have [G2192].
17: look [G2400], I rouse [G1892] against you [G1473] the [G3588] Medes -- the [G3588] silver ones not considering [G3756][G3049], nor [G3761] of gold [G5553] need [G5532] have [G2192].
18: bows of young men [G3495], They will break [G4937], and [G2532] the [G3588] upon children [G5043] of you [G1473] in no way will they show compassion [G1653], nor [G3761][G1909] the [G3588] children [G5043] of you [G1473] spare [G5339] the [G3588] will their eyes [G3788][G1473].
19: And [G2532] Babylon will be ([the place] which [G3739] is called [G2564] honorable [G1741] by king of Chaldeans) in which [G3739] manner [G5158] eradicated [G2690] the [G3588] God '[G2316] Sodom and [G2532] Gomorrah.
20: It will not be [G3756] dwelt in [G2730] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `, nor will they enter [G1525] into [G1519] it [G1473] through [G1223] many [G4183] generations [G1074], nor will go through [G1330] it [G1473] Arabians], nor [G3761] shepherds [G4166] in any way will rest in [G1722] it [G1473].
21: And [G2532] will rest there [G1563] wild beasts [G2342], and [G2532] they will fill up [G1705] the [G3588] houses [G3614] with a sound [G2279]; and [G2532] will rest there [G1563] sirens , and [G2532] demons [G1140] will dance [G1563] there [G3738].
22: And [G2532] satyrs will dwell there [G1563][G2730], and [G2532] will build a nest hedgehogs in [G1722] the [G3588]ir houses [G3624][G1473].
