Matthew Chapter 15 - | Early Church Bible

1: Then [G5119] came forward [G4334] [to the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) the [G3588] [ones] from Jerusalem -- scholars (scribes) '[G1122] (soferim [H5613]) and [G2532] Pharisees [G5330] ("Separate Ones" [H6504]), saying [G3004],
2: Why [do [G1302] the [G3588] your trainees '[G3101][G1473] violate [G3845] the [G3588] tradition [G3862] of the [G3588] elders [G4245]? for they do not [G3756][G1063] wash [G3538] the [G3588]ir hands [G5495][G1473] whenever [G3752] bread they eat [G2068].
3: And he the [G3588][G1161] answering said [G2036] to them [G1473], Why [G1302] also [G2532] do you [G1473] violate [G3845] the [G3588] commandment [G1785] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] through [G1223] the [G3588] your tradition [G3862][G1473]?
4: for the [G3588] [G1063] God '[G2316] gave charge [G1781], saying [G3004], Esteem [G5091] the [G3588] father [G3962] and [G2532] the [G3588] mother [G3384]! and [G2532], the [G3588] [one] speaking evil of [G2551] father [G3962] or [G2228] mother [G3384], by death [G2288] will come to an end [G5053].
5: But you [G1473][G1161] say [G3004], Who [G3739] ever should say [G2036] to the [G3588] father [G3962] or [G2228] to the [G3588] mother [G3384], A gift [offering [G1435] [is] what [G3739] ever [G1437] from [G1537] me [G1473] you should derive benefit [G5623];
6: and [G2532] in no way should esteem [G5091] the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473] or [G2228] the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473]; and [G2532] you voided the [G3588] commandment [G1785] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] through [G1223] the [G3588] your tradition [G3862][G1473].
7: Stage-actors [G5273], well [G2573] prophesied [G4395] concerning [G4012] you [G1473] Isaiah], saying [G3004],
8: approach [G1448] me [G1473] the [G3588] This people [G2992][G3778] [with] the [G3588]ir mouth [G4750][G1473], and [G2532] with the [G3588] lips [G5491] esteem me [G1473][G5091], the [G3588] but [G1161] their heart [G2588][G1473] [is] far off [G4206] at a distance from me [G1473].
9: But in vain [G3155][G1161] they worship [G4576] me [G1473], teaching [G1321] instructions [G1319] -- precepts [G1778] of men .
10: And [G2532] having called on [G4341] the [G3588] crowd [G3793], he said [G2036] to them [G1473], Hear and [G2532] perceive [G4920]!
11: Not [G3756] the [thing] [G3588] entering [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] mouth [G4750] defiles [G2840] the [G3588] man ; but the [thing] [G3588] going forth [G1607] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] mouth [G4750], this [G3778] defiles [G2840] the [G3588] man .
12: Then [G5119] having drawn near [G4334], the [G3588] his trainees '[G3101][G1473] said [G2036] to him [G1473], Do you know [G1492] that [G3754] the [G3588] Pharisees [G5330] ("Separate Ones" [H6504]), the [G3588] [ones] hearing the [G3588] word [G3056], were offended [G4624]?
13: And he the [G3588][G1161] answering said [G2036], Every [G3956] plant [G5451] which [G3739] planted not [G3756][G5452] the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473] from the high place above (sky) the [G3588][G3770] will be rooted out [G1610].
14: Let them go [G1473]! guides [G3595] they are blind [G5185] of blind [G5185]. blind [G5185] And [G1161] blind [G5185] if [G1437] should guide [G3594], both into [G1519] a cistern will fall [G4098].
15: And responding [G1161] the [G3588] Peter said [G2036] to him [G1473], Expound [G5419] to us [G1473] the [G3588] this paralell '[G3850][G3778]!
16: the [G3588] And [G1161] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036], At this moment even [G2532] you [G1473] senseless are ?
17: Not yet [G3768] do you comprehend [G3539], that [G3754] all [G3956] the [G3588] entering [G1531] into [G1519] the [G3588] mouth [G4750] in [G1519] the [G3588] belly [G2836] has a space [G5562], and [G2532] into [G1519] bowel is cast out [G1544]?
18: But the [things] [G3588][G1161] going forth [G1607] out of [G1537] the [G3588] mouth [G4750] from [G1537] the [G3588] heart [G2588] come forth [G1831], and those [G2548] defile [G2840] the [G3588] man .
19: For from out of [G1537][G1063] the [G3588] heart [G2588] come forth [G1831] thoughts [G1261] evil [G4190], murders [G5408], adulteries [G3430], harlotries [G4202], frauds [G2829], lying witnesses [G5577], blasphemies .
20: These [G3778] are the [things] [G3588] defiling [G2840] the [G3588] man . the [G3588] But [G1161] [with] unwashed hands [G5495] to eat [G2068] does not [G3756] defile [G2840] the [G3588] man .
21: And [G2532] having gone forth [G1831] from there [G1564] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) withdrew into [G1519] the [G3588] parts [G3313] of Tyre and [G2532] Sidon.
22: And [G2532] look [G2400], a Canaanite woman [G1135] from the [G3588] those borders [G3725][G1565] coming forth [G1831] cried out [G2905] to him [G1473], saying [G3004], Show compassion [G1653] on me [G1473], O Boss '[G2962], O son [G5207] of David; the [G3588] my daughter [G2364][G1473] [is] badly [G2560] demon-possessed [G1139]!
23: And he the [G3588][G1161] did not [G3756] answer her [G1473] a word [G3056]. And [G2532] having come [G4334] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] of him '[G1473] asked [G2065] him [G1473], saying [G3004], Dismiss her [G1473]! for [G3754] she cries out [G2896] behind [G3693] us [G1473].
24: And the [G3588][G1161] responding he said [G2036], I was not [G3756] sent except [G1508] unto [G1519] the [G3588] sheep [G4263] the [G3588] lost of house [G3624] of Israel.
25: And she the [G3588][G1161] having come [G2064] did obeisance [G4352] to him [G1473], saying [G3004], O Boss '[G2962], help me [G1473]!
26: And he the [G3588][G1161] answering said [G2036], It not [G3756] is good [G2570] to take [G2983] the [G3588] bread of the [G3588] children [G5043], and [G2532] to throw [it] to the [G3588] little dogs [G2952].
27: And she the [G3588][G1161] said [G2036], Yes [G3483] O Boss '[G2962], for even [G2532][G1063] the [G3588] little dogs [G2952] eat [G2068] from the [G3588] crumbs [G5589] the [G3588] falling [G4098] from the [G3588] table [G5132] of the [G3588]ir bosses [G2962][G1473].
28: Then [G5119] responding the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036] to her [G1473], O [G5599] woman [G1135], great [G3173] [is] of you [G1473] the [G3588] trust '[G4102]; let it be [G1096] to you [G1473] as [G5613] you want [G2309]! And [G2532] was healed [G2390] the [G3588] her daughter [G2364][G1473] from the [G3588] that hour [G5610][G1565].
29: And [G2532] having crossed over [G3327] from there [G1564], the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) came [G2064] by [G3844] the [G3588] sea [G2281] of the [G3588] Galilee; and [G2532] having went up into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735], he was sitting [G2521] there [G1563].
30: And [G2532] came forward [G4334] to him [G1473] crowds [G3793] great [G4183], having [G2192] with [G3326] themselves [G1438] lame [G5560], blind [G5185], mutes [G2974], cripples [G2948], and [G2532] others [G2087] many [G4183]; and [G2532] they dropped [G4495] them [G1473] by [G3844] the [G3588] feet [G4228] of the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]); and [G2532] he cured [G2323] them [G1473].
31: So that [G5620] the [G3588] crowds [G3793] marveled [G2296] seeing mutes [G2974] speaking [G2980], cripples [G2948] in health [G5199], lame [G5560] walking [G4043], and [G2532] blind [G5185] seeing . And [G2532] they glorified [G1392] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel.
32: the [G3588] And [G1161] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) having called on [G4341] the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] of him [G1473], said [G2036], I am moved with compassion [G4697] over [G1909] the [G3588] crowd [G3793], for [G3754] already [G2235] days [G2250] three [G5140] they remain with [G4357] me [G1473], and [G2532] they have not [G3756][G2192] anything [G5100] to eat [G2068]; and [G2532] to dismiss them [G1473] hungry from fasting [G3523] I do not [G3756] want [G2309], lest at any time [G3379] they faint [G1590] in [G1722] the [G3588] way [G3598].
33: And [G2532] say [G3004] to him [G1473] the [G3588] his disciples [G3101][G1473], From where [G4159] [is there] for us [G1473], [being] in [G1722] desolation [G2047], bread loaves for so many [G5118], so as [G5620] to fill [G5526] a crowd [G3793] so great [G5118]?
34: And [G2532] says [G3004] to them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), How many [G4214] bread loaves do you have [G2192]? And they the [G3588][G1161] said [G2036], Seven [G2033], and [G2532] a few [G3641] small fishes [G2485].
35: And [G2532] he bid [G2753] the [G3588] crowds [G3793] to recline upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
36: And [G2532] having taken [G2983] the [G3588] seven [G2033] bread loaves , and [G2532] the [G3588] fishes [G2486], having given thanks [G2168] he broke [G2806] and [G2532] gave [G1325] [to the [G3588] his trainees '[G3101][G1473], and the [G3588][G1161] trainees '[G3101] to the [G3588] crowd [G3793].
37: And [G2532] all ate [G2068][G3956] and [G2532] were filled [G5526]. And [G2532] they lifted up the [G3588] abundance [G4052] of the [G3588] pieces [G2801] -- seven [G2033] baskets [G4711] full [G4134].
38: And the [G3588] [ones] [G1161] eating [G2068] were four thousand [G5070] men , separate from [G5565] women [G1135] and [G2532] children [G3813].
39: And [G2532] having dismissed the [G3588] crowds [G3793], he stepped [G1684] into [G1519] the [G3588] boat [G4143], and [G2532] came [G2064] into [G1519] the [G3588] borders [G3725] of Magdala.
