1: And it was [G1161] the [G3588] passover [G3957], and [G2532] the [holiday of the [G3588] unleavened [breads after [G3326] two [G1417] days [G2250]. And [G2532] sought [G2212] the [G3588] chief priests and [G2532] the [G3588] scholars (scribes) '[G1122] (soferim [H5613])] how [G4459] him [G1473] by [G1722] treachery [G1388] seizing [him [G2902] they should kill .
2: And they said [G3004][G1161], Not [G3361] during [G1722] the [G3588] holiday [G1859], lest at any time [G3379] there will be a tumult [G2351] of the [G3588] people [G2992].
3: And [G2532] he being [G1473] in [G1722] Bethany in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3614] of Simon the [G3588] leper [G3015], in his reclining [G2621][G1473], came [G2064] a woman [G1135] having [G2192] an alabaster [jar of perfumed [G3464] spikenard [G3487] liquid [G4101] of great cost [G4185]; and [G2532] having broken [G4937] the [G3588] alabaster [jar , she poured [it [G2708] on of him '[G1473][G2596] the [G3588] head [G2776].
4: And there were [G1161] some [G5100] being indignant within [G4314] themselves [G1438], and [G2532] saying [G3004], For [G1519] why [G5100] the [G3588] this loss [G1473] of the [G3588] perfumed liquid [G3464] has] taken place [G1096]?
5: For it was possible [G1410][G1063] to sell this [G3778][G4097] above [G1883] three hundred [G5145] denarii [G1220], and [G2532] to be given [G1325] to the [G3588] [ones] begging [G4434]; and [G2532] [they] strictly charged [G1690] her [G1473].
6: And the [G3588][G1161] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036], Let her go [G1473]! Why [G5100] for her [G1473] troubles [G2873] do you make [G3930]? a good [G2570] work [G2041] she worked [G2038] for [G1519] me [G1473].
7: For at all times [G3842][G1063] the [G3588] [ones] begging [G4434] you have [G2192] among [G3326] yourselves [G1438], and [G2532] whenever [G3752] you want [G2309] you are able [G1410] for them [G1473] good [G2095] to do [G4160]; me [G1473] but [G1161] not [G3756] at all times [G3842] you do have [G2192].
8: What [G3739] she has [G2192][G3778], she did [G4160]; she first took [G4301] to perfume [G3462] my [G1473] the [G3588] body [G4983] for [G1519] the [G3588] entombing [G1780].
9: Amen I say [G3004] to you [G1473], Where [G3699] ever [G1437] should be proclaimed [G2784] the [G3588] a good-word-conveyed (good message) '[G2098] this [G3778] in [G1519] entire [G3650] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889], even [G2532] what [G3739] this woman did [G4160][G3778] will be spoken [G2980] for [G1519] her memorial [G3422][G1473].
10: And [G2532] the [G3588] Judas the [G3588] Iscariot, one [G1520] of the [G3588] twelve [G1427], went forth to [G4314] the [G3588] chief priests , that [G2443] he should deliver him up [G3860][G1473] to them [G1473].
11: And they the [G3588][G1161] hearing , rejoiced [G5463], and [G2532] they promised [G1861] to him [G1473] money to give [G1325]. And [G2532] he sought [G2212] how [G4459] opportunely [G2122] he should deliver him up [G1473][G3860].
12: And [G2532] on the [G3588] first [G4413] day [G2250] of the [G3588] unleavened [breads , when [G3753] the [G3588] passover [G3957] they sacrifice [G2380], say [G3004] to him [G1473] the [G3588] his disciples [G3101][G1473], Where [G4226] do you want [G2309] [that] going forth we will prepare [G2090] that [G2443] you should eat [G2068] the [G3588] passover [G3957]?
13: And [G2532] he sends two [G1417] of the [G3588] his trainees '[G3101][G1473], and [G2532] says [G3004] to them [G1473], Go [G5217] into [G1519] the [G3588] city [G4172], and [G2532] will meet you [G1473] a man a clay vessel [G2765] of water [G5204] bearing ; you follow him [G1473]!
14: And [G2532] where [G3699] ever [G1437] he should enter [G1525], say [G2036] to the [G3588] boss of the house [G3617][G3754] that [G3754], the [G3588] Teacher [G1320] ["Rabbi [G4461]" John 1:38] says [G3004], Where [G4226] is the [G3588] lodging [G2646] where [G3699] the [G3588] passover [G3957] with [G3326] the [G3588] my trainees '[G3101][G1473] I should eat [G2068]?
15: And [G2532] he [G1473] will show to you [G1473][G1166] upper room a great [G3173] being spread out [G4766] prepared [G2092]; there [G1563] prepare [G2090] for us [G1473]!
16: And [G2532] went forth [G1831] the [G3588] his trainees '[G3101][G1473] and [G2532] came [G2064] into [G1519] the [G3588] city [G4172], and [G2532] they found [it [G2147] as [G2531] he said [G2036] to them [G1473]; and [G2532] they prepared [G2090] the [G3588] passover [G3957].
17: And [G2532] evening [G3798] having become [G1096], he comes [G2064] with [G3326] the [G3588] twelve [G1427].
18: And [G2532] as they were reclining [G1473] and [G2532] eating [G2068], Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036] the [G3588], Amen I say [G3004] to you [G1473] that [G3754], one [G1520] of [G1537] you [G1473] will deliver me up [G3860][G1473], the [G3588] [one] eating [G2068] with [G3326] me [G1473].
19: And they the [G3588][G1161] began to grieve [G3076], and [G2532] to say [G3004] to him [G1473] one [G1520] by [G2596] one [G1520], No [G3385], how [G5100] I [G1473]? and [G2532] another , No [G3361], how [G5100] I [G1473]?
20: And the [G3588][G1161] answering he said [G2036] to them [G1473], One [G1520] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] twelve [G1427], the [G3588] [one] dipping [G1686] with [G3326] me [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] saucer [G5165].
21: Indeed the [G3588][G3303] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man goes away [G5217], as [G2531] it has been written [G1125] concerning [G4012] him [G1473]; but woe [G3759][G1161] [to the [G3588] that man [G1565] by [G1223] whom [G3739] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man is delivered up [G3860]; it was good [G2570] to him [G1473] if [G1487] was not [G3756] born [G1080] the [G3588] man that [G1565].
22: And [G2532] as they were eating [G2068][G1473], Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) having taken [G2983] the [G3588] bread , having blessed [G2127], broke [G2806] and [G2532] gave [G1325] to them [G1473]. And [G2532] he said [G2036], Take [G2983]! Eat [G2068]! this [G3778] is the [G3588] body [G4983] of me [G1473].
23: And [G2532] having taken [G2983] the [G3588] cup [G4221], having given thanks [G2168], he gave [G1325] to them [G1473], and [G2532] drank [G4095] of [G1537] it [G1473] all [G3956].
24: And [G2532] he said [G2036] to them [G1473], This [G3778] is the [G3588] my blood [G1473], the [blood the [G3588] of the [G3588] new [G2537] covenant [G1242], the [blood for the [G3588] [G4012] many [G4183] being poured out [G1632].
25: Amen I say [G3004] to you [G1473] that [G3754], No longer [G3765] in any way will I drink [G4095] of [G1537] of the [G3588]fspring [G1081] of the [G3588] grapevine , until [G2193] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565] whenever [G3752] I should drink it [G1473][G4095] new [G2537] in [G1722] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316].
26: And [G2532] having sung praise [G5214], they came forth [G1831] unto [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] of the [G3588] olives [G1636].
27: And [G2532] says [G3004] to them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) that [G3754], All [G3956] will be stumbled [G4624] in [G1722] me [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] this night [G3571][G3778]; for [G3754] it has been written [G1125], I will strike [G3960] the [G3588] shepherd [G4166], and [G2532] will be dispersed [G1287] the [G3588] sheep [G4263].
28: But after [G3326] the [G3588] my arising [G1453][G1473], I will lead before [G4254] you [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] Galilee.
29: And the [G3588][G1161] Peter said [G5346] to him [G1473], Even [G2532] if [G1487] all [G3956] will be stumbled [G4624], yet not [G3756] I [G1473].
30: And [G2532] says [G3004] to him [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), Amen I say [G3004] to you [G1473] that [G3754], today [G4594] in [G1722] the [G3588] this night [G3571][G3778], before [G4250][G2228] twice [G1364] rooster calls out loud [G5455], three times [G5151] you will totally reject me [G1473].
31: And he the [G3588][G1161] all [G1537] extra [G4053] said [G3004], Rather [G3123] if [G1437] it should be for me [G1473][G1163] to die together with [G4880] you [G1473], in no way will I totally reject you [G1473]. And likewise [G5615][G1161] also [G2532] all spoke [G3956][G3004].
32: And [G2532] they came [G2064] unto [G1519] a place [G5564] of which [G3739] the [G3588] name [G3686] [is] Gethsemane. And [G2532] he says [G3004] [to the [G3588] his trainees '[G3101][G1473], sit down [G2523] here [G5602] while [G2193] I pray [G4336]!
33: And [G2532] taking [G3880] the [G3588] Peter and [G2532] the [G3588] James and [G2532] John with [G3326] himself [G1438], and [G2532] he began to be astonished [G1568] and [G2532] anxious .
34: And [G2532] he says [G3004] to them [G1473], is dejected [G4036] the [G3588] Soul [G5590] of me [G1473] unto [G2193] death [G2288]. Abide [G3306] here [G5602] and [G2532] be vigilant [G1127]!
35: And [G2532] having gone forth [G4281] a little [G3397], he fell [G4098] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] prayed [G4336] that [G2443], if [G1487] it is possible [G1415] might pass [G3928] from him [G1473] the [G3588] hour [G5610].
36: And [G2532] he said [G3004], Abba the [G3588] father [G3962], all [things] [G3956] [are] possible [G1415] with you [G1473]; carry away [G3911] the [G3588] cup [G4221] from me [G1473] this [G3778]! but not [G3756] what [G5100] I [G1473] want [G2309], but what [G5100] you [want [G1473].
37: And [G2532] he comes [G2064] and [G2532] finds [G2147] them [G1473] sleeping [G2518]. And [G2532] he says [G3004] [to the [G3588] Peter, Simon, do you sleep [G2518]? Were you not able [G3756][G2480] one [G1520] hour [G5610] to be vigilant [G1127]?
38: Be vigilant [G1127] and [G2532] pray [G4336]! that [G2443] you should not [G3361] enter [G1525] into [G1519] a test [G3986]. Indeed the [G3588][G3303] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] [is] eager [G4289], but the [G3588][G1161] flesh [G4561] weak .
39: And [G2532] again [G3825], having gone forth he prayed [G4336], the [G3588] same [G1473] word [G3056] having said [G2036].
40: And [G2532] having returned [G5290], he found [G2147] them [G1473] again [G3825] sleeping [G2518], were for [G1063] the [G3588]ir eyes [G3788][G1473] being weighed down , and [G2532] they did not know [G3756][G1492] what [G5100] they should answer to him [G1473].
41: And [G2532] he comes [G2064] the [G3588] third [time] [G5154], and [G2532] he says [G3004] to them [G1473], Sleep [G2518] the [G3588] remaining [G3062] and [G2532] rest ! Be at a distance ! came [G2064] the [G3588] hour [G5610]. Look [G2400], is delivered up [G3860] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man into [G1519] the [G3588] hands [G5495] of the [G3588] sinners .
42: Arise [G1453]! we should convey ' [on]. Look [G2400], the [G3588] [one] delivering me up [G3860][G1473] approaches [G1448].
43: And [G2532] immediately [G2112] while [G2089] he [G1473] [was] speaking [G2980], Judas comes [G3854], being one [G1520] of the [G3588] twelve [G1427], and [G2532] with [G3326] him [G1473] crowd [G3793] a great [G4183] with [G3326] swords [G3162] and [G2532] wood [spears [G3586], from [G3844] the [G3588] chief priests and [G2532] the [G3588] scholars (scribes) '[G1122] (soferim [H5613]) and [G2532] the [G3588] elders [G4245].
44: had given [G1325] And [G1161] the [G3588] [one] delivering him up [G3860][G1473] an agreed upon sign [G4953] to them [G1473], saying [G3004], Whom [G3739] ever I should kiss [G5368], it is he [G1473]; Seize [G2902] him [G1473], and [G2532] take [him] away safely !
45: And [G2532] having come [G2064], immediately [G2112] having come forward [G4334] to him [G1473], he says [G3004] to him [G1473], Rabbi [G4461] ["Teacher [G1320]" John 1:38], Rabbi [G4461] ["Teacher [G1320]" John 1:38]; and [G2532] he kissed [G2705] him [G1473].
46: And they the [G3588][G1161] put [G1911] upon [G1909] him [G1473] the [G3588]ir hands [G5495][G1473], and [G2532] seized [G2902] him [G1473].
47: one [G1520] But [G1161] a certain [G5100] of the [G3588] [ones] standing by [G3936], having unsheathed [G4685] the [G3588] sword [G3162], hit [G3817] the [G3588] servant [G1401] of the [G3588] chief priest , and [G2532] removed of him '[G1473] the [G3588] ear [G5621].
48: And [G2532] responding the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036] to them [G1473], As [G5613] unto [G1909] a robber [G3027] do you come forth [G1831] with [G3326] swords [G3162] and [G2532] wood [spears [G3586] to seize [G4815] me [G1473]?
49: By [G2596] day [G2250] I was with [G4314] you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] temple [G2413] teaching [G1321], and [G2532] you did not [G3756] seize [G2902] me [G1473]; but [it is that [G2443] should be fulfilled [G4137] the [G3588] scriptures [G1124].
50: And [G2532] leaving him [G1473], all [G3956] fled [G5343].
51: And [G2532] one [G1520] certain [G5100] young man [G3495] follows him [G1473], having put on [G4016] a fine linen garment [G4616] upon [G1909] [his] naked [body [G1131]; and [G2532] seized [G2902] him [G1473] the [G3588] young men [G3495];
52: the [G3588] but [G1161] leaving behind [G2641] the [G3588] fine linen [garment [G4616], naked [G1131] he fled [G5343] from them [G1473].
53: And [G2532] they took the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) to [G4314] the [G3588] chief priest . And [G2532] gather [G4905] to him [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] chief priests , and [G2532] the [G3588] elders [G4245], and [G2532] the [G3588] scholars (scribes) '[G1122] (soferim [H5613]).
54: And [G2532] the [G3588] Peter from far off [G3113] followed him [G1473], even [G2193] inside [G2080] into [G1519] the [G3588] courtyard of the [G3588] chief priest . And [G2532] he was sitting together [G4775] with [G3326] of the [G3588]ficers [G5257], and [G2532] being heated [G2328] by [G4314] the [G3588] light [G5457].
55: And the [G3588][G1161] chief priests and [G2532] entire [G3650] the [G3588] sanhedrin [G4892] sought [G2212] against [G2596] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) testimony [G3141] to [G1519] the [G3588] put him to death [G2289][G1473]; and [G2532] they did not find [G3756][G2147].
56: For many [G4183][G1063] witnessed falsely [G5576] against [G2596] him [G1473], and [G2532] equal [G2470] the [G3588] testimonies [G3141] were not [G3756].
57: And [G2532] certain ones [G5100] having risen up witnessed falsely [G5576] against [G2596] him [G1473], saying [G3004] that [G3754],
58: We [G1473] heard him [G1473] saying [G3004] that [G3754], I [G1473] will break up [G2647] the [G3588] this temple [G3485][G3778] made with hands [G5499], and [G2532] in [G1223] three [G5140] days [G2250] another not made by hands I will build [G3618].
59: And [G2532] not even [G3761] thus [G3779] equal [G2470] was the [G3588]ir testimony [G3141][G1473].
60: And [G2532] having risen up the [G3588] chief priest into [G1519] the [G3588] midst [G3319], questioned [G1905] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), saying [G3004], Do you not [G3756] answer one [thing] [G3762]? What [is it [G5100] these [G3778] [are] bearing witness against you [G1473][G2649]?
61: And he the [G3588][G1161] kept silent [G4623], and [G2532] not one [thing] [G3762] did he answer . Again [G3825] the [G3588] chief priest questioned [G1905] him [G1473], and [G2532] says [G3004] to him [G1473], Are you [G1473] the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547], the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] blessed [G2128]?
62: the [G3588] And [G1161] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036], I [G1473] am , and [G2532] you will see [G3708] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man sitting [G2521] on [G1537] right [G1188] of the [G3588] power [G1411], and [G2532] coming [G2064] with [G3326] the [G3588] clouds [G3507] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772].
63: And the [G3588][G1161] chief priest , having torn [G1284] the [G3588] his inner garments [G5509][G1473], says [G3004], What [G5100] yet [G2089] need [G5532] do we have [G2192] of witnesses [G3144]?
64: You heard the [G3588] blasphemy ; what [G5100] does it appear to you [G1473][G5316]? And they the [G3588][G1161] all [G3956] condemned [G2632] him [G1473] to be liable [G1777] of death [G2288].
65: And [G2532] some began [G5100] to spit on [G1716] him [G1473], and [G2532] to cover [G4028] the [G3588] his face [G4383][G1473], and [G2532] to buffet [G2852] him [G1473], and [G2532] to say [G3004] to him [G1473], Prophesy [G4395]! And [G2532] of the [G3588]ficers [G5257] slaps [G4475] at him [G1473] threw .
66: And [G2532] Peter being the [G3588] in [G1722] the [G3588] courtyard below [G2736], there comes [G2064] one [G1520] of the [G3588] maidservants [G3814] of the [G3588] chief priest .
67: And [G2532] looking [at] [G1492] the [G3588] Peter heating himself [G2328], having looked at [G1689] him [G1473], she says [G3004], Even [G2532] you [G1473] with [G3326] the [G3588] Nazarene Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) were .
68: But he the [G3588][G1161] denied , saying [G3004], I have not known [him [G3756][G1492], nor [G3761] have knowledge of [G1987] what [G5100] you [G1473] say [G3004]. And [G2532] he went forth [G1831] outside [G1854] into [G1519] the [G3588] porch of the courtyard [G4259]; and [G2532] a rooster called out [G5455].
69: And [G2532] the [G3588] maidservant [G3814] looking [at] [G1492] him [G1473], again [G3825] began to say [G3004] to the [G3588] [ones] standing by [G3936] that [G3754], This one [G3778] of [G1537] them [G1473] is .
70: And he the [G3588][G1161] again [G3825] denied . And [G2532] after [G3326] a little [time] [G3397], again [G3825] the [G3588] [ones] standing by [G3936] said [G3004] the [G3588] to Peter, Truly of [G1537] them [G1473] you are , for even [G2532][G1063] you are a Galilean , and [G2532] the [G3588] your speech [G2981][G1473] coincides [G3662].
71: And he the [G3588][G1161] began to devote to consumption and [G2532] to swear by an oath [G3660] that [G3754], I have not known [G3756][G1492] the [G3588] this man [G3778] of whom [G3739] you speak [G3004].
72: And [G2532] a second [time] [G1537][G1208] a rooster called out [G5455]. And [G2532] Peter called to mind the [G3588] [G3588] saying [G4487] which [G3739] said [G2036] to him [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) that [G3754], Before [G4250] a rooster calls out [G5455] twice [G1364], you will totally reject me [G1473] three times [G5151]. And [G2532] giving it attention [G1911] he wept [G2799].
