Joshua Chapter 14 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] these [are [G3778] the [G3588] [ones] inheriting of sons [G5207] of Israel in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Canaan, which [G3739] allotted to them [G1473] Eleazar the [G3588] priest [G2409], and [G2532] Joshua the [G3588] [son of the [G3588] Nun, and [G2532] the [G3588] rulers of families [G3965] of tribes [G5443] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel.
2: According to [G2596] lots [G2819] they inherited [G2816], in which [G3739] manner [G5158] BOSS gave charge [G1781][G2962] by [G1722] hand [G5495] of Moses, to the [G3588] nine [G1767] tribes [G5443], and [G2532] to the [G3588] half [G2255] tribe [G5443].
3: gave [G1325] for [G1063] Moses] a lot [G2817] to the [G3588] two [G1417] tribes [G5443] and [G2532] to the [G3588] half [G2255] tribe [G5443] off the [G3588] other side [G4008] of the [G3588] Jordan. And [G2532] to the [G3588] Levites was not given [G3756][G1325] a lot [G2819] among [G1722] them [G1473].
4: For [G3754] were the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Joseph] two [G1417] tribes [G5443] -- Manasseh and [G2532] Ephraim. And [G2532] was not [G3756] given [G1325] a portion [G3310] to the [G3588] Levites in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093], but only cities [G4172] to dwell in [G2730], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir outskirts [G1473] for the [G3588]ir cattle [G2934][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir herds [G2934][G1473].
5: In which [G3739] manner [G5158] BOSS gave charge [G1781][G2962] the [G3588] to Moses, so [G3779] did [G4160] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel], and [G2532] they portioned [G3307] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
6: And [G2532] there came forward [G4334] sons [G5207] of Judah to [G4314] Joshua in [G1722] Gilgal. And [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473] Caleb the [G3588] [son of the [G3588] Jephunneh the [G3588] Kenezite, You [G1473] know [G1987] the [G3588] word [G4487] which [G3739] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Moses man of the [G3588] God '[G2316] concerning [G4012] me [G1473] and [G2532] you [G1473] in [G1722] Kadesh Barnea.
7: forty [G5062] For [G1063] years [old [G2094] I was when [G3753] sent me [G1473] Moses the [G3588] servant [G3816] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] from [G1537] Kadesh Barnea to spy out [G2684] the [G3588] land '[G1093]. And [G2532] I answered him [G1473] a word [G3056] according to [G2596] the [G3588] his mind [G3563][G1473].
8: But the [G3588][G1161] my brothers [G1473] the [G3588] [ones] going up with [G3326] me [G1473] changed over [G3179] the [G3588] mind [G1271] of the [G3588] people [G2992]. But I [G1473][G1161] proceeded [G4369] to follow after [G1872] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473].
9: And [G2532] Moses swore by an oath [G3660] in [G1722] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565], saying [G3004] that [G3754], the [G3588] land '[G1093] upon [G1909] which [G3739] you mounted [G1910] in [G1722] it [G1473] will be yours [G1473] by [G1722] lot [G2819], and [G2532] [to the [G3588] children [G5043] of you [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `, for [G3754] you proceeded [G4369] to follow [G1872] after [G3694] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473].
10: And [G2532] now [G3568], maintained me [G1473] Boss '[G2962] in which [G3739] manner [G5158] he said [G2036] this [G3778] fortieth and [G2532] fifth [G3991] year [G2094], from which [G3739] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] this word [G4487][G3778] to [G4314] Moses; and [G2532] Israel went [G4198] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048]. And [G2532] now [G3568] look [G2400], I [G1473] am today [G4594] a son [G5207] eighty [G3589] and [G2532] five [G4002] years [old [G2094].
11: Yet [G2089] I am today [G4594] of strength [G2479] as [G5616] when [G3753] sent me [G1473] Moses], likewise [G5615] I am strong [G2480] now [G3568] for [G1519] the [G3588] war [G4171] to go forth [G1831] and [G2532] to enter [G1525].
12: And [G2532] now [G3568] I ask you [G1473] the [G3588] this raised-place (mountain) '[G3735][G3778] as [G2505] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] the [G3588] in that day [G2250][G1565], for [G3754] you [G1473] heard the [G3588] this word [G4487][G3778] in [G1722] the [G3588] that day, [saying [G2250][G1565], And now [G3568][G1161] the [G3588] Anakim are there [G1563], in cities [G4172] great [G3173] and [G2532] fortified . If [G1437] then [G3767] Boss '[G2962] with [G3326] me [G1473] should be , I will utterly destroy [G1842] them [G1473] in which [G3739] manner [G5158] spoke [G2036] to me [G1473] Boss '[G2962].
13: And [G2532] blessed [G2127] him [G1473] Joshua], and [G2532] he gave [G1325] the [G3588] Hebron [to the [G3588] Caleb son [G5207] of Jephunneh by [G1722] lot [G2819].
14: On account of [G1223] this [G3778] Hebron came [G1096] the [G3588]the [G3588] to Caleb, to the [G3588] [son of the [G3588] Jephunneh the [G3588] Kenezite by [G1722] lot [G2819] until [G2193] the [G3588] today's [G4594] day [G2250], because [G1223] the [G3588] he [G1473] followed after [G1872] the [G3588] order of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel.
15: And the [G3588][G1161] name [G3686] of the [G3588] Hebron for the [G3588]merly [G4387] [was] City [G4172] Arbai, [is the] mother-city [G3390] of the [G3588] Anakim this [G3778]. Then [G2532] the [G3588] land '[G1093] abated [G2869] of the [G3588] war [G4171].
