1: the [G3588] But [G1161] Ephraim [is] an evil [G4190] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151]. He pursued [G1377] burning wind [G2742] entire [G3650] the [G3588] day [G2250]. empty [G2756] and [G2532] vain [things] [G3152] He multiplied [G4129]. And [G2532] a covenant [G1242] with [G3326] Assyrians he ordained [G1303], and [G2532] olive oil [G1637] in [G1519] Egypt traded [G1710].
2: And [G2532] there is a case [G2920] with the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] against [G4314] Judah, the [G3588] to punish [G1556] the [G3588] Jacob; according to [G2596] the [G3588] his ways [G3598][G1473] and [G2532] according to [G2596] the [G3588] his practices [G1473] he will recompense to him [G1473].
3: In [G1722] the [G3588] belly [G2836] he caught the heel of the [G3588] brother of him [G1473]; and [G2532] in [G1722] his toils [G2873][G1473] he grew in strength [G1765] with [G4314] God '[G2316].
4: And [G2532] he grew in strength [G1765] with [G3326] word-conveyer (messenger) ', and [G2532] he prevailed [G1410]; they wept [G2799] and [G2532] beseeched [G1189] me [G1473]; in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3624] of On [G3739] they found [G2147] me [G1473]. 5: But the [G3588][G1161] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] almighty [G3841] will be his memorial [G3422][G1473].
6: And [G2532] you [G1473] to [G1722] your God '[G2316][G1473] will return [G1994]; compassion [G1656] and [G2532] judgment [G2917] guard [G5442], and [G2532] approach [G1448] to [G4314] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] always [G1275]!
7: Canaan, in [G1722] his hand [G5495][G1473] [is a] yoke [G2218] of iniquity ; to tyrannize [G2616] he loved .
8: And [G2532] Ephraim said [G2036], But [G4133] I am rich [G4147], I have found [G2147] respite for myself [G1683]. All [G3956] the [G3588] [produce] of his toils [G4192][G1473] will not be found [G3756][G2147] in him [G1473], because of [G1223] iniquities in [G1722] which [G3739] he sinned .
9: But I [G1473][G1161], Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], led you [G1473] out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt; still [G2089] I will settle you [G1473] in [G1722] tents [G4633] as [G2531] in [G1722] days [G2250] of holiday [feast [G1859].
10: And [G2532] I will speak [G2980] by [G4314] prophets [G4396], and [G2532] I [G1473] visions [G3706] multiplied [G4129], and [G2532] by [G1722] hands [G5495] of prophets [G4396] I was likened [G3666].
11: If [G1487] not [G3361] Gilgal is , then even [G2532] false [G5571] were in [G1722] Gilgal rulers sacrificing , and [G2532] the [G3588]ir altars [G2379][G1473] are as [G5613] tortoise [like heaps upon [G1909] an uncultivated field .
12: And [G2532] Jacob withdrew into [G1519] plain of Syria, and [G2532] Israel served [G1398] for [G1722] a wife [G1135], and [G2532] for [G1722] a wife [G1135] he guarded [sheep [G5442].
13: And [G2532] by [G1722] a prophet [G4396] BOSS led [G2962] the [G3588] Israel from out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt, and [G2532] by [G1722] a prophet [G4396] he was guarded [G1314].
14: Ephraim was enraged [G2373] and [G2532] provoked to anger [G3949], therefore [G2532] the [G3588] blood of him [G1473] upon [G1909] him [G1473] will be poured out [G1632], and [G2532] the [G3588] scorning [G3680] of him '[G1473] will recompense Boss '[G2962] to him [G1473].
