Galatians Chapter 4 - | Early Church Bible

1: And I say [G3004][G1161], for [G1909] as long [G3745] a time [G5550] the [G3588] heir [G2818] is an infant [G3516], in no way [G3762] does he differ [G1308] from a bondman, [though [G1401] boss [G2962] of all [things] [G3956] being ;
2: but under [G5259] caretakers [G2012] he is and [G2532] managers [G3623] until the [G3588] prescribed [time] [G4287] of the [G3588] father [G3962].
3: So [G3779] also [G2532] us [G1473], when [G3753] we were infants [G3516] under [G5259] the [G3588] elements [G4747] of the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889], we were being enslaved [G1402].
4: But when [G3753][G1161] came [G2064] the [G3588] fullness [G4138] of the [G3588] time [G5550], God sent forth [G1821] the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473], being born [G1096] of [G1537] a woman [G1135], being born [G1096] under [G5259] law [G3551],
5: that [G2443] the [G3588] [ones] under [G5259] law [G3551] he should buy back [G1805], that [G2443] the [G3588] adoption [G5206] we should accept .
6: But because [G3754][G1161] you are sons [G5207], God sent out [G1821] the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473] in [G1519] the [G3588] your hearts [G2588][G1473], crying out [G2896], Abba the [G3588] father [G3962].
7: So that [G5620] no longer [G3765] are you a bondman [G1401], but a son [G5207]; and if [G1487][G1161] a son [G5207], also [G2532] an heir [G2818] of God '[G2316] through [G1223] Anointed "'[G5547].
8: But then [G5119] indeed [G3303] not [G3756] knowing [G1492] God '[G2316], you were a slave [G1398] to the [G3588] [ones] not [G3361] by nature [G5449] being gods '[G2316].
9: But now [G3568][G1161], having known [G1097] God '[G2316], but rather [G3123][G1161] having been known [G1097] by [G5259] God '[G2316], how [G4459] do you return [G1994] again [G3825] unto [G1909] the [G3588] weak and [G2532] one begging [G4434] elements [G4747], in which [G3739] again [G3825], as at the beginning to serve [G1398] you want [G2309]?
10: days [G2250] You closely watch [G3906], and [G2532] months [G3376], and [G2532] times [G2540], and [G2532] years [G1763].
11: I fear [G5399] for you [G1473], lest perhaps [G3381] in vain [G1500] I have tired in labor [G2872] for [G1519] you [G1473].
12: become [G1096] as [G5613] I [am [G1473] for [G3754] also I [am [G2504] as [G5613] 10> you [G1473] brothers I beseech [G1189] you [G1473]! In nothing [G3762] you wronged me [G1473].
13: But you know [G1492][G1161] that [G3754] through [G1223] weakness of the [G3588] flesh [G4561] I good-word-conveyed '[G2097] to you [G1473] for the [G3588]merly [G4387],
14: and [G2532] the [G3588] my test [G3986][G1473], the [G3588] [one] in [G1722] the [G3588] my flesh [G4561][G1473], you treated not with contempt [G3756][G1848], nor [G3761] rejected with contempt [G1609]; but as [G5613] a word-conveyer (messenger) ' of God '[G2316] you received [G1209] me [G1473], even as [G5613] Anointed [G5547] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]).
15: What [G5100] then [G3767] was the [G3588] your blessing [G3108][G1473]? For I witness [G3140][G1063] to you [G1473] that [G3754] if [G1487] able [G1415], the [G3588] eyes [G3788] having gouged out your [G1473][G1846] you would have given [G1325] [them] to me [G1473].
16: So then [G5620] enemy [G2190] have I become your [G1473][G1096] being truthful with you [G1473]?
17: They are zealous [G2206] for you [G1473], [but] not [G3756] for well [G2573], but to exclude [G1576] you [G1473] they want [G2309], that [G2443] you should be zealous for them [G1473][G2206].
18: But [it is] good [G2570][G1161] the [G3588] to be zealous [G2206] in [G1722] good [G2570] at all times [G3842], and [G2532] not [G3361] only [G3440] in [G1722] the [G3588] my being at hand [G3918][G1473] with [G4314] you [G1473].
19: My sons [G5040][G1473], whom [G3739] again [G3825] I travail [G5605] as far as of which [time] [G3739] should have been formed [G3445] Anointed "'[G5547] in [G1722] you [G1473].
20: And I wanted [G2309][G1161] to be at hand [G3918] with [G4314] you [G1473] just now , and [G2532] to change the [G3588] my voice [G5456][G1473]; for [G3754] I am perplexed as [G1722] to you [G1473].
21: Tell [G3004] me [G1473], O ones the [G3588] under [G5259] law [G3551] wanting [G2309] to be , the [G3588] law [G3551] do you not [G3756] hearken to ?
22: For it has been written [G1125][G1063] that [G3754] Abraham two [G1417] sons [G5207] had [G2192]; one [G1520] of [G1537] the [G3588] maidservant [G3814], and [G2532] one [G1520] of [G1537] the [G3588] free [woman [G1658].
23: But the [G3588] [one] indeed [G3303] of [G1537] the [G3588] maidservant [G3814] according to [G2596] flesh [G4561] has been born [G1080]; but the [G3588] [one] [G1161] of [G1537] the [G3588] free [woman [G1658] [was] through [G1223] the [G3588] promise [G1860].
24: Which [things] [G3748] are allegorized ; for these [G3778][G1063] are the [G3588] two [G1417] covenants [G1242]; one [G1520] indeed [G3303] from raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Sinai, in [G1519] slavery [G1397] born [G1080], which [G3748] is Hagar.
25: for the [G3588] [G1063] Hagar Sinai raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] is in [G1722] the [G3588] Arabia, and corresponding with [G4960][G1161] the [G3588] present [G3568] Jerusalem, and she slaved [G1398][G1161] with [G3326] the [G3588] her children [G5043][G1473].
26: But the [G3588][G1161] upward Jerusalem is free [G1658], which [G3748] is mother [G3384] of all [G3956] of us [G1473].
27: For it has been written [G1125][G1063], Be glad [G2165] O sterile one [G4723], the [G3588] [one] not [G3756] giving birth [G5088]! Break asunder [G4486] and [G2532] yell , O one the [G3588] not [G3756] travailing [G5605]! for [G3754] many [are [G4183] the [G3588] children [G5043] of the [G3588] barren [G2048] rather [G3123] than [G2228] of the [G3588] [one] having [G2192] the [G3588] husband .
28: And we [G1473][G1161], brothers , like [G2596] Isaac, of promise [G1860] children [G5043] are .
29: But as [G5618] then [G5119] the [G3588] [one] according to [G2596] flesh [G4561] born [G1080] pursued [G1377] the one [born the [G3588] according to [G2596] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151], so [G3779] also [G2532] now [G3568].
30: But what [G5100] says [G3004] the [G3588] scripture [G1124]? Cast out [G1544] the [G3588] maidservant [G3814] and [G2532] the [G3588] her son [G5207][G1473]! for in no way [G3756][G1063][G3361] will inherit [G2816] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] maidservant [G3814] with [G3326] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] free one [G1658].
31: So then , brothers , we are not [G3756] of maidservant [G3814] children [G5043], but of the [G3588] free one [G1658].
