Exodus Chapter 38 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] he made [G4160] an altar [G2379] for whole burnt-offering [G3646] out of [G1537] wood [G3586] incorruptible ; of five [G4002] cubits [G4083] [was] the [G3588] length [G3372], and [G2532] five [G4002] cubits [G4083] the [G3588] breadth ; four-cornered [G5068] was the [G3588] altar [G2379], and [G2532] three [G5140] cubits [G4083] the [G3588] [its] height [G5311][G1473].
2: And [G2532] he made [G4160] the [G3588] horns [G2768]. Upon [G1909] the [G3588] four [G5064] corners [G1137] of [G1537] it [G1473] were the [G3588] horns [G2768], and [G2532] he covered [G2572] them [G1473] in brass [G5475].
3: And [G2532] he made [G4160] a rim on the [G3588] altar [G2379], and [G2532] the [G3588] lid for it [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] bowls [G5357] for it [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] meat hooks for it [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] censer for it [G1473]; and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] utensils [G4632] for it [G1473] he made [G4160] of brass [G5470].
4: And [G2532] he made [G4160] for it [G1473] grate work [G2041] a latticed brass [G5470].
5: And [G2532] he made [G4160] for the [G3588] grate four [G5064] rings [G1146] of brass [G5470] upon [G1909] the [G3588] four [G5064] sides . And [G2532] he placed [G5294] them [G1473] under [G5259] the [G3588] grate of the [G3588] altar [G2379] from below ; and the [G3588] was the [G3588] grate unto [G2193] half [G2255] the [G3588] altar [G2379].
6: And [G2532] he made [G4160] the [G3588] bearing poles for the [G3588] altar [G2379] out of [G1537] wood [G3586] incorruptible ; and [G2532] he brass plated them [G1473] in brass [G5475].
7: And [G2532] he inserted [G1521] the [G3588] bearing poles at [G2596] the [G3588] sides of the [G3588] altar [G2379] in [G1722] the [G3588] lifting it [G1473]! hollow planked He made [G4160] it [G1473].
8: And [G2532] he made [G4160] the [G3588] bathing tub the [G3588] brass [G5470], and [G2532] the [G3588] base of it [G1473] brass [G5470] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] mirrors of the [G3588] women that fasted [G3522], who [G3739] fasted [G3522] by [G3844] the [G3588] doors [G2374] of the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142].
9: And [G2532] he made [G4160] for the [G3588] courtyard , the [G3588] [one] towards [G4314] south [G3047], shrouds for the [G3588] courtyard from out of [G1537] linen [G1040] being twined -- a hundred [G1540] by [G1909] a hundred [G1540].
10: And [G2532] the [G3588]ir posts [G4769][G1473] -- twenty [G1501], and [G2532] the [G3588] bases their [G1473] twenty [G1501] brass [G5470]. And [G2532] the [G3588]ir hooks [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir clips [G1473] [were of] silver .
11: And [G2532] the [G3588] side the [G3588] towards [G4314] north [G1005] [was a] hundred [G1540] by [G1909] a hundred [G1540]. And [G2532] the [G3588]ir posts [G4769][G1473] -- twenty [G1501], and [G2532] the [G3588] bases their [G1473] twenty [G1501], brass [G5470]. And [G2532] the [G3588]ir hooks [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir clips [G1473] [were of] silver .
12: And [G2532] the [G3588] side the [G3588] towards [G4314] west [G2281] -- curtains of fifty [G4004] cubits [G4083]; their posts [G4769][G1473] -- ten [G1176], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir bases [G1473] -- ten [G1176], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir hooks [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir clips [G1473] [were of] silver .
13: And [G2532] the [G3588] side the [G3588] towards [G4314] east -- of fifty [G4004] cubits [G4083] shrouds ,
14: of fifteen cubits [G4083] the [G3588] according to [G2596] back [G3577], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir posts [G4769][G1473] -- three [G5140], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir bases [G1473] -- three [G5140].
15: And [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] back [G3577] of the [G3588] second [G1208] on this side and that side [G2532] according to [G2596] the [G3588] gate [G4439] of the [G3588] courtyard -- curtains of fifteen cubits [G4083], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir posts [G4769][G1473] -- three [G5140], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir bases [G1473] -- three [G5140].
16: All [G3956] the [G3588] curtains for the [G3588] tent [G4633] [were] of [G1537] linen [G1040] being twined .
17: And [G2532] the [G3588] bases , the [G3588] [ones] of their posts [G4769][G1473] [were of] brass [G5470], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir hooks [G1473] [were of] of silver , and [G2532] the [G3588]ir tips [G2777][G1473] being silver plated in silver ; and [G2532] the [G3588] posts [G4769] being silver plated in silver , all [G3956] the [G3588] posts [G4769] of the [G3588] courtyard .
18: And [G2532] the [G3588] veil [G2665] of the [G3588] gate [G4439] of the [G3588] courtyard [was] a work [G2041] of an embroiderer , of [G1537] blue [G5192], and [G2532] purple [G4209], and [G2532] scarlet [G2847] being spun [G3514], and [G2532] linen [G1040] being twined ; twenty [G1501] cubits [G4083] [was] the [G3588] length [G3372], and [G2532] the [G3588] height [G5311] and [G2532] the [G3588] breadth five [G4002] cubits [G4083], being made equal to the [G3588] shrouds of the [G3588] courtyard .
19: And [G2532] the [G3588]ir posts [G4769][G1473] -- four [G5064]; and [G2532] the [G3588]ir bases [G1473] -- four [G5064], [were of] brass [G5470]; and [G2532] the [G3588]ir hooks [G1473] [were of] silver , and [G2532] the [G3588]ir tips [G2777][G1473] being silver plated in silver .
20: And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] stanchions of the [G3588] courtyard round about [G2945] [were of] brass [G5470].
21: And [G2532] this [G3778] [was] the [G3588] arrangement of the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142], as [G2505] was given orders [G4929] to Moses; the [G3588] ministration [G3009] to be of the [G3588] Levites through [G1223] Ithamar the [G3588] son [G5207] of Aaron the [G3588] priest [G2409].
22: And [G2532] Bezaleel the [G3588] [son the [G3588] of Uri, of [G1537] the [G3588] tribe [G5443] of Judah, made [G4160] as [G2505] BOSS gave orders [G4929][G2962] to the [G3588] Moses,
23: and [G2532] Aholiab, the [G3588] [son the [G3588] of Ahisamach, of [G1537] the [G3588] tribe [G5443] of Dan, who [G3739] supervised construction -- the [G3588] woven [works [G5307], and [G2532] the [G3588] stitched works , and [G2532] the [G3588] embroideries , woven in the [G3588] blue [G5192] and [G2532] purple [G4209], and [G2532] scarlet [G2847] being spun [G3514], and [G2532] linen [G1040].
24: All [G3956] the [G3588] gold [G5553] which [G3739] was manufactured [G2716] for [G1519] the [G3588] works [G2041] according to [G2596] all [G3956] the [G3588] work [G2039] of the [G3588] pures ', was [G1096] of gold [G5553] of the [G3588] [G3588] first-fruit -- nine [G1767] and [G2532] twenty [G1501] talents [G5007], and [G2532] seven hundred and [G2532] thirty [G5144] shekels , according to [G2596] the [G3588] shekel the [G3588] pure '.
25: And [G2532] of silver and [G2532] choice-portion [offering from [G3844] the [G3588] being numbered [G1980] men of the [G3588] congregation [G4864] -- a hundred [G1540] talents [G5007], and [G2532] a thousand [G5507] seven hundred seventy [G1440] five [G4002] shekels , drachma [G1406] one [G1520] the [G3588] [per] head [G2776], the [G3588] half [G2255] the [G3588] shekel , according to [G2596] the [G3588] shekel the [G3588] pure ',
26: [for] every one [G3956] the [G3588] passing [G3899] into [G1519] the [G3588] numbering , from [a son] twenty years and [G2532] up [G1883], for [G1519] the [G3588] sixty [G1835] ten-thousands [G3461], and [G2532] three thousand [G5153] and [G2532] five hundred [G4001] fifty [G4004].
27: And [G2532] came to pass [G1096] the [G3588] hundred [G1540] talents [G5007] of the [G3588] silver for [G1519] the [G3588] molten casting of the [G3588] tips [G2777] of the [G3588] tent [G4633], and [G2532] for [G1519] the [G3588] tips [G2777] of the [G3588] veil [G2665]; a hundred [G1540] tips [G2777] for [G1519] the [G3588] hundred [G1540] talents [G5007], a talent [G5007] to the [G3588] tip [G2777].
28: And [G2532] the [G3588] thousand [G5507] seven hundred seventy [G1440] five [G4002] shekels he made [G4160] for [G1519] the [G3588] hooks for the [G3588] posts [G4769]; and [G2532] he gilded the [G3588]ir tips [G2777][G1473], and [G2532] adorned them [G1473].
29: And [G2532] the [G3588] brass [G5475] of the [G3588] choice-portion [offering [was] three hundred [G5145] seventy [G1440] talents [G5007], and [G2532] two thousand [G1367] and [G2532] four hundred [G5071] shekels .
30: And [G2532] they made [G4160] from out of [G1537] it [G1473] the [G3588] bases of the [G3588] door [G2374] of the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142], and [G2532] the [G3588] altar [G2379] of the [G3588] brass [G5470] with [G4862] the [G3588] [its] grate [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] utensils [G4632] of the [G3588] altar [G2379],
31: and [G2532] the [G3588] bases of the [G3588] courtyard round about [G2945], and [G2532] the [G3588] bases of the [G3588] gate [G4439] of the [G3588] courtyard , and [G2532] the [G3588] stanchions of the [G3588] tent [G4633], and [G2532] the [G3588] stanchions of the [G3588] courtyard round about [G2945].
