Deuteronomy Chapter 29 - | Early Church Bible

1: These [G3778] are the [G3588] words [G3056] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242], which [G3739] BOSS gave charge [G1781][G2962] to Moses to establish [G2476] with the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Moab, besides [G4133] the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of which [G3739] he ordained [G1303] with them [G1473] in [G1722] Horeb.
2: And [G2532] Moses called [G2564] all [G3956] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, and [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] them [G1473], You [G1473] see [G3708] all [G3956] as many [things] as [G3745] did [G4160] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Egypt before [G1799] you [G1473] to Pharaoh and [G2532] the [G3588] his attendants [G2324][G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] his land '[G1093][G1473];
3: the the [G3588] tests [G3986] the [G3588] great [G3173] which [G3739] have seen [G3708] the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473]; the [G3588] signs [G4592] and [G2532] the [G3588] miracles [G5059] the [G3588] those great [G3173][G1565], by the [G3588] hand [G5495] the [G3588] strong [G2900], and [G2532] the [G3588] arm [G1023] the [G3588] high [G5308].
4: And [G2532] did not give [G3756][G1325] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] to you [G1473] a heart [G2588] to look [at] [G1492], and [G2532] eyes [G3788] to see , and [G2532] ears [G3775] to hear , until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778].
5: And [G2532] he conveyed ' you [G1473] forty [G5062] years [G2094] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048]. did not [G3756] become old [G3822] the [G3588] Your garments [G2440][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your sandals [G5266][G1473] did not [G3756] wear away from the [G3588] your feet [G4228][G1473].
6: bread You did not [G3756] eat [G2068]; wine [G3631] and [G2532] liquor [G4608] you did not [G3756] drink [G4095], that [G2443] you should know [G1097] that [G3754] I [am [G3778] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473].
7: And [G2532] you came [G2064] unto [G2193] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778]. And [G2532] came forth [G1831] Sihon king of Heshbon, and [G2532] Og king of Bashan to [G1519] meet [G4877] us [G1473] in [G1722] war [G4171].
8: And [G2532] we struck [G3960] them [G1473], and [G2532] we took [G2983] the [G3588]ir land '[G1093][G1473], and [G2532] we gave [G1325] it [G1473] by [G1722] lot [G2819] the [G3588] to Reuben, and [G2532] the [G3588] to Gad, and [G2532] to the [G3588] half [G2255] tribe [G5443] of Manasseh.
9: And [G2532] you will guard [G5442] all [G3956] the [G3588] words [G3056] of the [G3588] this covenant [G1242][G3778], to do [G4160] them [G1473], that [G2443] you should perceive [G4920] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] you do [G4160].
10: You [G1473] all stand [G2476][G3956] today [G4594] before [G1725] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473]; the [G3588] your tribal chiefs [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your council of elders [G1087][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your judges [G2923][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your judicial recorders [G1473], every [G3956] man of Israel;
11: the [G3588] your wives [G1135][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] children [G5043] of you [G1473], and [G2532] for the [G3588]eigner [G4339] the [G3588] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] your camp [G3925][G1473]; from your woodcutter [G1473] and [G2532] unto [G2193] your water-carrier [G1473],
12: to go [G3928] in [G1722] the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] his oaths [G1473], as many as [G3745] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] ordains [G1303] for [G4314] you [G1473] today [G4594].
13: That [G2443] he should establish [G2476] you [G1473] to himself [G1473] for [G1519] a people [G2992], and [G2532] he [G1473] will be your [G1473] God '[G2316], in which [G3739] manner [G5158] he said [G2036] to you [G1473], and [G2532] in which [G3739] manner [G5158] he swore by an oath [G3660] [to the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473] -- Abraham and [G2532] Isaac and [G2532] Jacob.
14: And [G2532] not [G3756] to you [G1473] alone [G3441] I [G1473] ordain [G1303] the [G3588] this covenant [G1242][G3778] and [G2532] the [G3588] this oath [G3778],
15: but also [G2532] to the [G3588] [ones] here [G5602] being with [G3326] you [G1473] today [G4594] before [G1725] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], and [G2532] to the [G3588] [ones] not [G3361] being with [G3326] you [G1473] here [G5602] today [G4594].
16: For [G3754] you [G1473] know [G1492] how [G5613] we dwelt [G2730] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Egypt, as [G5613] we went by [G3928] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] which [G3739] you went by [G3928].
17: And [G2532] you looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588]ir abominations [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir idols [G1497][G1473] -- wood [G3586] and [G2532] stone [G3037], silver and [G2532] gold [G5553], which [G3739] is among [G3844] them [G1473].
18: Lest [G3361][G5100] there is among [G1722] you [G1473], a man or [G2228] woman [G1135], or [G2228] family [G3965] or [G2228] tribe [G5443], whose [G5100] the [G3588] thought [G1271] turned aside [G1578] from Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], to go [G4198] to serve [G3000] to the [G3588] gods '[G2316] of the [G3588] those tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484][G1565]; lest [G3385] there is among [G1722] you [G1473] a root [G4491] upward germinating [G5453] bile [G5521] and [G2532] bitterness [G4088].
19: And [G2532] it will be if [G1437] you should hear the [G3588] words [G4487] of the [G3588] this imprecation [G3778], and [G2532] [one] should portend in [G1722] the [G3588] his heart [G2588][G1473], saying [G3004], sacred [things] [G3741] to me [G1473] May happen [G1096], for [G3754] by [G1722] the [G3588] digression of the [G3588] my heart [G2588][G1473] I will go [G4198], that [G2443] should not [G3361] be destroyed together with [G4881] the [G3588] sinner the [G3588] sinless ,
20: in no way [G3756][G3361] should God want [G2309] the [G3588][G2316] to propitiate for him [G1473], but then [G5119] will be burned away [G1572] anger [G3709] [of the] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] the [G3588] his zeal [G2205][G1473] against [G1722] the [G3588] that man [G1565]. Then [G2532] will cleave [G2853] to [G1722] him [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] imprecations of the [G3588] this covenant [G1242][G3778], the [G3588] [ones] being written [G1125] in [G1722] the [G3588] scroll of the [G3588] law [G3551] this [G3778]. And [G2532] BOSS will wipe away [G1813][G2962] the [G3588] name [G3686] of him [G1473] from [G1537] the [G3588] under [G5259] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772].
21: And [G2532] will separate him [G1291][G1473] Boss '[G2962] for [G1519] evils [G2556] from [G1537] all [G3956] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, according to [G2596] all [G3956] the [G3588] imprecations of the [G3588] covenant [G1242], the [G3588] [ones] being written [G1125] in [G1722] the [G3588] scroll of the [G3588] law [G3551] this [G3778].
22: And [G2532] will say [G2046] the [G3588] generation [G1074] the [G3588] another [G2087] -- [even the [G3588] your sons [G5207][G1473] who [G3739] rise up after [G3326] you [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] alien which [G3739] ever should come [G2064] from out of [G1537] a land '[G1093] far off [G3113], that [G2532] they will see [G3708] the [G3588] calamities [G4127] of the [G3588] that land '[G1093][G1565], and [G2532] the [G3588] its diseases [G3554][G1473], which [G3739] BOSS sent [G2962] unto [G1909] it [G1473],
23: sulphur [G2303] and [G2532] salt incinerating [G2618]; all [G3956] the [G3588] its land '[G1093][G1473] will not [G3756] be sown [G4687], nor [G3761] will rise , nor should go up upon [G1909] it [G1473] any [G3956] green [thing] [G5515]. As [G5618] were eradicated [G2690] Sodom and [G2532] Gomorrah] -- Admah and [G2532] Zeboim, which [G3739] BOSS eradicated [G2690][G2962] in [G1722] rage [G2372] and [G2532] anger [G3709],
24: and [G2532] will say [G2046] all [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], Why [G1302] did do [G4160] Boss '[G2962] thus [G3779] the [G3588] to this land '[G1093][G3778]? What is [G5100] the [G3588] rage [G2372] of the [G3588] anger [G3709] the [G3588] this great [G3173][G3778]?
25: And [G2532] they will say [G2046], Because [G3754] they left [G2641] the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] God '[G2316] of the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473], which [G3739] he ordained [G1303] [with] the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473], when [G3753] he led [G1806] them [G1473] out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt.
26: And [G2532] going [G4198], they served [G3000] gods '[G2316] other [G2087], and [G2532] they did obeisance [G4352] to them [G1473], ones which [G3739] they had no knowledge of [G3756][G1987], nor [G3761] [knowledge] spread [G1268] to them [G1473].
27: And [G2532] was provoked to anger [G3710] in rage [G2372] Boss '[G2962] over [G1909] the [G3588] that land '[G1093][G1473], to bring [G1863] upon [G1909] it [G1473] according to [G2596] all [G3956] the [G3588] imprecations the [G3588] being written [G1125] in [G1722] the [G3588] scroll of the [G3588] law [G3551] this [G3778].
28: And [G2532] lifted [G1808] them [G1473] Boss '[G2962] from the [G3588]ir land '[G1093][G1473] in [G1722] rage [G2372] and [G2532] anger [G3709], and [G2532] fit of temper [G3948] great [G3173] an exceedingly [G4970], and [G2532] cast [G1544] them [G1473] into [G1519] land '[G1093] another [G2087] as [G5616] now [G3568].
29: The [G3588] secret [things] belong [G2927] [to the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473]. But the [G3588][G1161] open [things] are [G5318] to you [G1473], and [G2532] [to the [G3588] children [G5043] of you [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `, to do [G4160] all [G3956] the [G3588] words [G4487] of the [G3588] this law [G3551][G3778].
