Deuteronomy Chapter 11 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] you will love Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], and [G2532] you will guard [G5442] the [G3588] his injunctions [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his ordinances [G1345][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] commandments [G1785] of him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his judgments [G2920][G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250].
2: And [G2532] you will know [G1097] today [G4594] that [G3754] [I do] not [speak to [G3780] the [G3588] your children [G3813][G1473], as many as [G3745] [are] not [G3756] knowing [G1492], nor [G3761] knew [G1492] the [G3588] instruction [G3809] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his magnificence [G3167][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] hand [G5495] for the [G3588]tified [G2900], and [G2532] the [G3588] arm [G1023] the [G3588] high [G5308],
3: and [G2532] the [G3588] his signs [G4592][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his miracles [G5059][G1473] as many as [G3745] he did [G4160] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of Egypt to Pharaoh king of Egypt, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] his land '[G1093][G1473];
4: and [G2532] as many [things] as [G3745] he did [G4160] to for the [G3588]ce [G1411] of the [G3588] Egyptians, the [G3588]ir chariots [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir cavalry [G2462][G1473], as [G5613] he inundated [them in the [G3588] water [G5204] of the [G3588] sea [G2281] the [G3588] red [G2063] upon [G1909] their face [G4383][G1473] pursuing [G2614] them [G1473] from [G1537] the [coming the [G3588] after [G3694] you [G1473], and [G2532] destroyed them [G1473] Boss '[G2962] until [G2193] the [G3588] today's [G4594] day [G2250];
5: and [G2532] as many [things] as [G3745] he did [G4160] to you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048], until [G2193] you came [G2064] into [G1519] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778];
6: and [G2532] as many [things] as [G3745] he did [G4160] the [G3588] to Dathan and [G2532] Abiram, sons [G5207] of Eliab, son [G5207] of Reuben; which [G3739] opening the [G3588] land '[G1093] the [G3588] her mouth [G4750][G1473] swallowed [G2666] them [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir houses [G3624][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir tents [G4633][G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] their [G1473] the [G3588] [means of] support [G5287] the [G3588] with [G3326] them [G1473] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of all [G3956] Israel;
7: for [G3754] the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473] saw [G3708] all [G3956] the [G3588] works [G2041] of Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] great ones [G3173], as many as [G3745] he did [G4160] among [G1722] you [G1473] today [G4594].
8: And [G2532] you will guard [G5442] all [G3956] of the [G3588] his commandments [G1785][G1473], as many as [G3745] I [G1473] give charge [G1781] to you [G1473] today [G4594], that [G2443] you should live [G2198], and [G2532] should manifoldly multiply , and [G2532] you should enter [G1525], and [G2532] should inherit [G2816] the [G3588] land '[G1093] into [G1519] which [G3739] you [G1473] pass over [G1224] the [G3588] Jordan there [G1563] to inherit [G2816] it [G1473];
9: that [G2443] you should prolong your days upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of which [G3739] BOSS swore by an oath [G3660][G2962] to the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473] to give [G1325] to them [G1473], and [G2532] [to the [G3588]ir seed [G4690][G1473] after [G3326] them [G1473] -- a land '[G1093] flowing [G4482] milk [G1051] and [G2532] honey [G3192].
10: For it is [G1063] the [G3588] land '[G1093] into [G1519] which [G3739] you enter [G1531] there [G1563] to inherit [G2816] it [G1473]; not [G3756] as [G5618] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Egypt it is , from where [G3606] you went forth [G1607] from there [G1564]; whenever [G3752] they sow [G4687] the [G3588] seed [G4703], and [G2532] water [G4222] with the [G3588] feet [G4228], as [G5616] a garden [G2779] of vegetables .
11: But the [G3588][G1161] land '[G1093] into [G1519] which [G3739] you enter [G1531] there [G1563] to inherit [G2816] it [G1473], land '[G1093] [is] a mountainous [G3714] and [G2532] plain [G3977]; from out of [G1537] the [G3588] rain [G5205] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] it will drink [G4095] water [G5204];
12: a land '[G1093] which [G3739] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] oversees [G1983] it [G1473] always [G1275], [as] the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] [are] upon [G1909] it [G1473] from beginning of the [G3588] year [G1763] and [G2532] until [G2193] completion [G4930] of the [G3588] year [G1763].
13: But if [G1437][G1161] in hearing you should hear all [G3956] the [G3588] commandments [G1785] of him [G1473], as many as [G3745] I [G1473] give charge [G1781] to you [G1473] today [G4594], to love Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], and [G2532] to serve [G3000] to him [G1473] from [G1537] entire [G3650] the [G3588] heart [G2588] your [G1473], and [G2532] from [G1537] entire [G3650] the [G3588] soul [G5590] your [G1473],
14: then [G2532] he will give [G1325] the [G3588] rain [G5205] for the [G3588] your land '[G1093][G1473] according to [G2596] season [G5610] -- early [G4406] and [G2532] late [G3797]; and [G2532] you will carry in [G1533] the [G3588] your grain [G4621][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your wine [G3631][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your olive oil [G1637][G1473].
15: And [G2532] he will give [G1325] fodder [G5527] in [G1722] the [G3588] your fields [G1473] [to the [G3588] cattle [G2934] of you [G1473]. And [G2532] having eaten [G2068] and [G2532] having been filled up [G1705],
16: take heed [G4337] to yourselves [G1438]! not [G3361] widening [G4115] the [G3588] your heart [G2588][G1473], that [G2532] you should transgress [G3845], and [G2532] should serve [G3000] gods '[G2316] other [G2087], and [G2532] should do obeisance to [G4352] them [G1473];
17: and [G2532] being enraged [G2373] should be angry [G3710] Boss '[G2962] with [G1909] you [G1473], that [G2532] he should hold together [G4912] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] there will not [G3756] be rain [G5205], and [G2532] the [G3588] land '[G1093] will not [G3756] give [G1325] of the [G3588] its fruit [G2590][G1473], and [G2532] you will be destroyed quickly [G1722][G5034] from the [G3588] land '[G1093] the [G3588] good which [G3739] Boss '[G2962] gave [G1325] to you [G1473].
18: And [G2532] you will put [G1685] the [G3588]se words [G4487][G3778] into [G1519] the [G3588] your heart [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] into [G1519] the [G3588] your soul [G5590][G1473], and [G2532] you will affix them [G1473] for [G1519] a sign [G4592] upon [G1909] the [G3588] your hand [G5495][G1473], and [G2532] it will be unshaken before [G4253] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473].
19: And [G2532] you will teach [G1321] them [G1473] the [G3588] children [G5043] of you [G1473], to speak [G2980] them [G1473] sitting down [G2521] in [G1722] house [G3624], and [G2532] going [G4198] in [G1722] way [G3598], and [G2532] laying in bed , and [G2532] arising .
20: And [G2532] you will write [G1125] them [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] lintels of the [G3588] your houses [G3614][G1473], and [G2532] of the [G3588] your gates [G4439][G1473];
21: that [G2443] you should multiply [G4129] the [G3588] your days [G2250][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] your sons [G5207][G1473], upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] BOSS swore by an oath [G3660][G2962] [to the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473] to give [G1325] to them [G1473], as [G2531] the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
22: And [G2532] it will be if [G1437] hearing you should hear all [G3956] the [G3588]se commandments [G1785][G3778] which [G3739] I [G1473] give charge [G1781] to you [G1473] today [G4594], to do [them [G4160], to love Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], and [G2532] to go [G4198] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] his ways [G3598][G1473], and [G2532] to cleave to [G4347] him [G1473];
23: then [G2532] BOSS will cast out [G1544][G2962] all [G3956] the [G3588]se tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484][G3778] from face [G4383] of you [G1473], and [G2532] you will inherit [G2816] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] great [G3173], and [G2532] stronger ones [G2478] than [G3123][G2228] you [G1473].
24: Every [G3956] the [G3588] place [G5117] which [G3739] ever may tread [G3961] the [G3588] track [G2487] of the [G3588] your foot [G4228][G1473] will be yours [G1473]. From the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] and [G2532] Antilebanon, and [G2532] from the [G3588] river [G4215] of the [G3588] great [G3173] river [G4215] Euphrates, and [G2532] unto [G2193] the [G3588] sea [G2281] the [G3588] at [G1909] descent [of the sun [G1424] it will be the [G3588] your boundaries [G3725][G1473].
25: Not [G3756] will withstand any one [G3762] against [G2596] face [G4383] of you [G1473]. the [G3588] fear [G5401] of you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] trembling [G5156] [because] of you [G1473] will place [G2007] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] upon [G1909] face [G4383] of all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093], upon [G1909] which [G3739] ever you should mount [G1910] upon [G1909] it [G1473], in which [G3739] manner [G5158] he spoke [G2980] to [G4314] you [G1473].
26: look [G2400], I [G1473] give [G1325] before [G1799] you [G1473] today [G4594] a blessing [G2129] and [G2532] curse [G2671].
27: The [G3588] blessing [G2129], if [G1437] you should hear the [G3588] commandments [G1785] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], as many as [G3745] I [G1473] give charge [G1781] to you [G1473] today [G4594].
28: And [G2532] the [G3588] curse [G2671], if [G1437] you do not [G3361] hearken [G1522] to the [G3588] commandments [G1785] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], as many as [G3745] I [G1473] give charge [G1781] to you [G1473] today [G4594], and [G2532] you should wander [G4105] from the [G3588] way [G3598] which [G3739] I gave charge [G1781] to you [G1473], having gone [G4198] to serve [G3000] gods '[G2316] other [G2087], ones who [G3739] do not [G3756] perceive [G1492].
29: Then [G2532] it will be whenever [G3752] should bring [G1521] you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] into [G1519] which [G3739] you pass over [G1224] there [G1563] to inherit [G2816] it [G1473], then [G2532] you will give [G1325] the [G3588] blessing [G2129] upon [G1909] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Gerizim, and [G2532] the [G3588] curse [G2671] upon [G1909] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] Ebal.
30: not [G3756] look [G2400] are these [G3778] on the other side [G4008] of the [G3588] Jordan, behind [G3694] way [G3598] of descent [G1424] of sun [G2246] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Canaan, the [people the [G3588] dwelling [G2730] upon [G1909] descent [G1424], being next to [G2192] the [G3588] Gilgal, neighboring [G4139] the [G3588] oak the [G3588] high [G5308]?
31: For you [G1473][G1063] are passing over [G1224] the [G3588] Jordan, entering [G1525] to inherit [G2816] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] gives [G1325] to us [G1473] by [G1722] lot [G2819] all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250]. And [G2532] you will inherit [G2816] and [G2532] dwell [G2730] in [G1722] it [G1473].
32: And [G2532] you will guard [G5442] the [G3588] to do [G4160] all [G3956] the [G3588] his orders [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]se judgments [G2920][G3778], which [G3739] I [G1473] give [G1325] in your presence [G1799][G1473] today [G4594].
