2 Kings Chapter 24 - | Early Church Bible

1: In [G1722] the [G3588] his days [G2250][G1473] went up Nebuchadnezzar the [G3588] king of Babylon]. And [G2532] became [G1096] of him '[G1473] Jehoiakim] servant [G1401] three [G5140] years [G2094]. And [G2532] he turned [G1994] and [G2532] annulled [allegiance to [G1722] him [G1473].
2: And [G2532] BOSS sent [G2962] [against] him [G1473] the [G3588] armed [bands of the [G3588] Chaldeans, and [G2532] the [G3588] armed [bands of Syrians, and [G2532] the [G3588] armed [bands of Moab, and [G2532] the [G3588] armed [bands of sons [G5207] of Ammon. And [G2532] he sent [G1821] them [G1473] against [G1909] the [G3588] Judah the [G3588] to prevail against it [G2729][G1473], according to [G2596] the [G3588] word [G4487] of Boss '[G2962], which [G3739] he spoke [G2980] by [G1722] hand [G5495] of his servants [G1401][G1473] the [G3588] prophets [G4396].
3: Only [G4133] a rage [G2372] of Boss '[G2962] was against [G1909] the [G3588] Judah, the [G3588] to remove it [G1473] from in front [G4383] of him [G1473], on account of [G1223] the [G3588] sins of Manasseh, according to [G2596] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] he did [G4160];
4: and [G2532] indeed [G1065] for the [G3588] blood innocent which [G3739] he poured out [G1632], and [G2532] filled [G4130] the [G3588] Jerusalem blood of innocent . And [G2532] did not [G3756] want [G2309] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] to atone [G2433].
5: And [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] words [G3056] of Jehoiakim, and [G2532] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] he did [G4160], look are not [G3756][G2400] these [G3778] written [G1125] upon [G1909] scroll of words [G3056] [of the] days [G2250] of the [G3588] kings of Judah?
6: And [G2532] Jehoiakim slept [G2837] with [G3326] the [G3588] his fathers [G3962][G1473]. And [G2532] reigned Jehoiachin son [G5207] of him [G1473] instead of him [G1473].
7: And [G2532] did not [G3756] proceed [G4369] any longer [G2089] king of Egypt the [G3588] to come forth [G1831] out of [G1537] the [G3588] his land '[G1093][G1473], for [G3754] took [G2983] king of Babylon] from the [G3588] rushing stream [G5493] of Egypt unto [G2193] the [G3588] river [G4215] Euphrates all [G3956] as much as [G3745] was of the [G3588] king of Egypt.
8: a son [G5207] [being] eighteen years [old [G2094] Jehoiachin [was]] in [G1722] the [G3588] his taking reign [G1473], and [G2532] three months [G5150] he reigned in [G1722] Jerusalem. And [G2532] name [G3686] [to the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473] [was] Nehushta daughter [G2364] of Elnathan of [G1537] Jerusalem.
9: And [G2532] he did [G4160] the [G3588] wicked [thing] [G4190] in [G1722] eyes [G3788] of Boss '[G2962], according to [G2596] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] did [G4160] the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473].
10: In [G1722] the [G3588] that time [G2540][G1565] went up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon] to [G1519] Jerusalem, and [G2532] came [G2064] the [G3588] city [G4172] [to be [G1722] encompassed about [G4042].
11: And [G2532] entered [G1525] Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon] unto [G1519] the [G3588] city [G4172], and [G2532] the [G3588] his servants [G3816][G1473] assaulted it [G1473].
12: And [G2532] came forth [G1831] Jehoiachin king of Judah] to [G4314] the [G3588] king of Babylon, he [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his servants [G3816][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his rulers [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his eunuchs [G2135][G1473]. And [G2532] took [G2983] them [G1473] king of Babylon] in [G1722] the [G3588] eighth [G3590] year [G2094] of the [G3588] his government '[G1473].
13: And [G2532] he brought forth [G1627] from there [G1564] all [G3956] the [G3588] treasures [G2344] of the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] the [G3588] treasures [G2344] of house [G3624] of the [G3588] king . And [G2532] he cut off all [G3956] the [G3588] items [G4632] of the [G3588] gold [G5552] which [G3739] made [G4160] Solomon the [G3588] king of Israel] for [G1722] the [G3588] temple [G3485] of Boss '[G2962], according to [G2596] the [G3588] saying [G4487] of Boss '[G2962].
14: And [G2532] he resettled the [G3588] Jerusalem, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] rulers , and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] mighty ones [G1415] with strength [G2479] into captivity -- ten [G1176] thousand [G5505], and [G2532] every [G3956] fabricator [G5045], and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] so consigned [G4788]. They did not [G3756] leave behind [G5275] except [G4133] the [G3588] [ones] being in need of the [G3588] people [G2992] of the [G3588] land '[G1093].
15: And [G2532] he resettled the [G3588] Jehoiachin into [G1519] Babylon, and [G2532] the [G3588] mother [G3384] of the [G3588] king , and [G2532] the [G3588] wives [G1135] of the [G3588] king , and [G2532] the [G3588] his eunuchs [G2135][G1473]. And [G2532] the [G3588] strong [ones [G2478] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] he took away for [G1519] resettlement from out of [G1537] Jerusalem unto [G1519] Babylon.
16: And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] men mighty [G1415] -- seven [G2033] thousand [G5505], and [G2532] the [G3588] fabricator [G5045], and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] so consigned [G4788] -- thousands [G5507] of all the [G3588][G3956] mighty [G1415] men in strength [G2479] making [G4160] war [G4171]. And [G2532] conveyed ' them [G1473] king of Babylon] in a displacement [G3350] unto [G1519] Babylon.
17: And [G2532] gave reign to king of Babylon the [G3588] Mattaniah brother of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473] instead of him [G1473]. And [G2532] he placed [G2007] to him [G1473] name [G3686] Zedekiah].
18: a son [G5207] [being] twenty [G1501] and [G2532] one [G1520] years [old [G2094] Zedekiah [was]] in [G1722] the [G3588] his taking reign [G1473]. And [G2532] eleven [G1733] years [G2094] he reigned in [G1722] Jerusalem. And [G2532] name [G3686] [to the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473] [was] Hamutal, daughter [G2364] of Jeremiah of [G1537] Libnah.
19: And [G2532] he did [G4160] the [G3588] wicked [thing] [G4190] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962] according to [G2596] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] Jehoiakim did [G4160].
20: For [G3754] by [G1909] the [G3588] rage [G2372] of Boss '[G2962] [the rage] was on [G1722] Jerusalem and [G2532] on [G1722] the [G3588] Judah, until [G2193] he threw them [G1473] from his face [G4383][G1473]. And [G2532] Zedekiah annulled [allegiance to [G1722] the [G3588] king of Babylon.
