1 Kings Chapter 9 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] Solomon completed [G4931] constructing [G3618] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] king , and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] matters [G4230] of Solomon, as many [things] as [G3745] he wanted [G2309] to do [G4160],
2: that [G2532] BOSS appeared [G3708][G2962] the [G3588] to Solomon the [G3588] second [time] [G1208], as [G2531] he appeared [G3708] to him [G1473] in [G1722] Gibeon.
3: And [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473] Boss '[G2962], I heard the [G3588] your prayer [G4335][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] supplication [G1162] of you [G1473], which [G3739] you beseeched [G1189] before [G1799] me [G1473]. I sanctified the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778] which [G3739] you built [G3618], the [G3588] to establish [G5087] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] there [G1563] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `. And [G2532] will be the [G3588] my eyes [G3788][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] my heart [G2588][G1473] there [G1563] all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250].
4: And [G2532] you [G1473], if [G1437] you should go [G4198] before [G1799] me [G1473] as [G2531] David went [G4198] the [G3588] your father [G3962][G1473], in [G1722] sacredness [G3742] of heart [G2588], and [G2532] in [G1722] straightness [G2118], the [G3588] to do [G4160] according to [G2596] all [G3956] which [G3739] I gave charge [G1781] to him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] orders of me [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] my commandments [G1785][G1473] you should keep [G5442],
5: then [G2532] I will raise up the [G3588] throne [G2362] of the [G3588] your government '[G1473] over [G1909] Israel into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `, as [G2531] I spoke [G2980] [to the [G3588] father [G3962] of you [G1473] David, saying [G3004], There will not [G3756] be removed [G1808] from you [G1473] a man leading [G2233] in [G1722] Israel.
6: But if [G1437][G1161] by turning , you should turn , you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] children [G5043] of you [G1473], from me [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] orders of me [G1473] which [G3739] I put [G1325] before [G1799] you [G1473], so as to not keep [G3361][G5442], and [G2532] you should go [G4198] and [G2532] should serve [G1398] gods '[G2316] other [G2087], and [G2532] should do obeisance to [G4352] them [G1473];
7: then [G2532] I will remove [G1808] the [G3588] Israel from the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] I gave [G1325] to them, [G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778] which [G3739] I sanctified [to the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] I will throw away from [G1537] my face [G4383][G1473]. And [G2532] Israel will be for [G1519] extinction and [G2532] for [G1519] a discussion among [G1519] all [G3956] the [G3588] peoples [G2992].
8: And [G2532] the [G3588] house [G3624] this [G3778] the [G3588] lofty [G5308], every one [G3956] the [G3588] traveling [G1279] by [G1223] it [G1473] will be amazed [G1839], and [G2532] will whistle . And [G2532] they will say [G2046], For [G1752] what [reason [G5100] did [G4160] Boss '[G2962] [do] thus [G3779] [to the [G3588] this land '[G1093][G3778], and [G2532] [to the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778]?
9: And [G2532] they will say [G2046], Because they abandoned [G1459] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of them [G1473], the [G3588] [one] leading [G1806] the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473] from out of [G1537] house [G3624] of slavery [G1397] of [G1537] Egypt, and [G2532] they took hold of alien gods '[G2316], and [G2532] did obeisance to [G4352] to them [G1473], and [G2532] served [G1398] to them [G1473]. On account of [G1223] this [G3778] BOSS brought [G1863][G2962] upon [G1909] them [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] evil [G2549] this [G3778].
10: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] after [G3326] twenty [G1501] years [G2094] in [G1722] which [G3739] Solomon constructed [G3618] the [G3588] two [G1417] houses [G3624], the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] king ,
11: Hiram the [G3588] king of Tyre assisted the [G3588] Solomon with [G1722] timbers [G3586] of cedars , and [G2532] with [G1722] timbers [G3586] of pines , and [G2532] in [G1722] gold [G5553], and [G2532] in [G1722] all [G3956] his want [G2307][G1473]. Then [G5119] gave [G1325] the [G3588] king Solomon the [G3588] to Hiram twenty [G1501] cities [G4172] in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of the [G3588] Galilee.
12: And [G2532] Hiram came forth [G1831] from out of [G1537] Tyre, and [G2532] went [G4198] to [G1519] the [G3588] Galilee the [G3588] to look [at] [G1492] the [G3588] cities [G4172] which [G3739] gave [G1325] to him [G1473] Solomon], and [G2532] they did not [G3756] please him [G1473].
13: And [G2532] Hiram said [G2036], What [are [G5100] the [G3588]se cities [G4172][G3778] which [G3739] you gave [G1325] to me [G1473], O [G5599] brother ? And [G2532] he called [G2564] them [G1473] Border [G3725] until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778].
14: And [G2532] Hiram sent the [G3588] to Solomon a hundred [G1540] and [G2532] twenty [G1501] talents [G5007] of gold [G5553].
15: And [G2532] tof him '[G1473] [is] the [G3588] matter [G4230] of the [G3588] plunder which [G3739] brought the [G3588] king Solomon] to build [G3618] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] king , and [G2532] the [G3588] wall [G5038] of Jerusalem, and [G2532] the [G3588] Akra the [G3588] to enclose the [G3588] barrier [G5418] of the [G3588] city [G4172] of David, and [G2532] the [G3588] Hazor, and [G2532] the [G3588] Megiddo, and [G2532] the [G3588] Gezer.
16: Pharaoh king of Egypt went up and [G2532] first took the [G3588] Gezer, and [G2532] he burnt it [G1473] by [G1722] fire [G4442], and [G2532] the [G3588] Canaanite the [G3588] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] the [G3588] city [G4172] he put to death [G2289], and [G2532] gave [G1325] it [G1473] Pharaoh] as a dowry to the [G3588] his daughter [G2364][G1473] -- to wife [G1135] of Solomon.
17: And [G2532] Solomon built [G3618] the [G3588] Gezer, and [G2532] the [G3588] Beth-horon the [G3588] lower [G2736],
18: and [G2532] the [G3588] Baalath, and [G2532] the [G3588] Tadmor in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048],
19: and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] cities [G4172], the [G3588] [ones] fortified which [G3739] were [to the [G3588] Solomon, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] cities [G4172] of the [G3588] chariots , and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] cities [G4172] of the [G3588] horsemen [G2460], and [G2532] the [G3588] matters [G4230] which Solomon [G3739] engaged in [G4231] to construct [G3618] in [G1722] Jerusalem, and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] Lebanon, and [G2532] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of the [G3588] his dominion [G1473].
20: All [G3956] the [G3588] remaining [G5275] people [G2992] from the [G3588] Hittite, and [G2532] the [G3588] Amorite, and [G2532] the [G3588] Perizzite, and [G2532] the [G3588] Canaanite, and [G2532] the [G3588] Hivite, and [G2532] the [G3588] Jebusite, and [G2532] the [G3588] Gergesite of the [G3588] [ones] not [G3361] being of [G1537] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel,
21: the [G3588]ir children [G5043][G1473] the [G3588] being left [G5275] with [G3326] them [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093], which [G3739] were not [G3756] able [G1410] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel] to utterly destroy [G1842] them [G1473], that [G2532] led them [G1473] Solomon] into [G1519] tribute [G5411] until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778].
22: And [G2532] from [G1537] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel did not give [G3756][G1325] Solomon] one [G1520] for servitude [G1397], for [G3754] they [G1473] were men the [G3588] warriors , and [G2532] his servants [G3816][G1473], and [G2532] rulers , and [G2532] his third rank [G1473], and [G2532] rulers of the [G3588] his chariots [G1473], and [G2532] his horsemen [G2460][G1473].
23: were And [G1161] rulers (the [ones] [G3588] having knowledge [G1987] over [G1909] the [G3588] works [G2041] of Solomon) five hundred [G4001] fifty [G4004] dominating [G2961] among [G1722] the [G3588] people [G2992] the [G3588] doing [G4160] the [G3588] work [G2041].
24: the the [G3588] daughter [G2364] And [G1161] the [G3588] of Pharaoh went up from the [G3588] city [G4172] of David to [G1519] the [G3588] her house [G3624][G1473], which [G3739] he built [G3618] to her [G1473]. Then [G5119] he built [G3618] Millo.
25: And [G2532] Solomon offered [G4374] thrice in [G2596] a year [G1763] whole burnt-offerings [G3646] and [G2532] peace [offerings [G1516] upon [G1909] the [G3588] altar [G2379], the [G3588] [one] he built [G3618] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] he burnt incense [G2370] upon [G1909] it [G1473], the [G3588] [one] which [G3739] [was] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] he finished [G4931] the [G3588] house [G3624].
26: And [G2532] made [G4160] the [G3588] king Solomon] a ship [G3491] in [G1722] Ezion Geber, the [city the [G3588] being next to [G2192] Eloth, upon [G1909] the [G3588] edge [G5491] of sea [G2281] of the [G3588] extreme [part [G2078], in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Edom.
27: And [G2532] Hiram sent in [G1722] the [G3588] ship [G3491] of the [G3588] his servants [G3816][G1473], men mariners , people [G2992] knowing [G1492] to row [G1643] sea [G2281] with [G3326] the [G3588] servants [G3816] of Solomon.
28: And [G2532] they came [G2064] unto [G1519] Ophir, and [G2532] took [G2983] from there [G1564] four hundred [G5071] and [G2532] twenty [G1501] talents [G5007] of gold [G5553], and [G2532] brought [them [G5342] [to the [G3588] king Solomon.
