1 Kings Chapter 5 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] sent Hiram king of Tyre the [G3588] his servants [G3816][G1473] to [G4314] Solomon; for he heard [G1063] that [G3754] they anointed him [G1473][G5548] for [G1519] king in place of David the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473]. For [G3754] loving was Hiram the [G3588] David all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250].
2: And [G2532] Solomon sent to [G4314] Hiram, saying [G3004],
3: You [G1473] knew [G1492] the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473] David, that [G3754] he was not [G3756] able [G1410] to build [G3618] a house [G3624] to the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473], because off facing [G4383] the [G3588] wars [G4171] that were the [G3588] encircling [G2944] him [G1473], until [G2193] the [G3588] BOSS put [G1325][G2962] them [G1473] under [G5259] the [G3588] soles [G2487] of the [G3588] his feet [G4228][G1473].
4: And [G2532] now [G3568] gave rest Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473] to me [G1473] round about [G2943]; there not [G3756] is a plotter and [G2532] there not [G3756] is sin a wicked [G4190].
5: And [G2532] look [G2400], I [G1473] speak [G3004] concerning building [G3618] a house [G3624] to the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962] God '[G2316] of me [G1473], as [G2531] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] David the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], saying [G3004], the [G3588] Your son [G5207][G1473] whom [G3739] I will put [G1325] instead of you [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] your throne [G2362][G1473], this one [G3778] will build [G3618] the [G3588] house [G3624] [to the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473].
6: And [G2532] now [G3568] give charge [G1781], and [G2532] let men fell [G2875] timbers for me [G1473][G3586] from [G1537] the [G3588] Lebanon! And [G2532] look [G2400], the [G3588] my servants [G1401][G1473] [will be] with [G3326] the [G3588] your servants [G1401][G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] wage [G3408] of the [G3588] your servants [G1401][G1473] I will give [G1325] to you [G1473] according to [G2596] all [G3956] as much [G3745] as you should say [G2036]. For [G3754] you [G1473] know [G1492] that [G3754] there not [G3756] is among [G1722] us [G1473] one knowing [G1492] to fell [G2875] timbers [G3586] as [G2531] the [G3588] Sidonians.
7: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] Hiram heard the [G3588] words [G3056] of Solomon, he rejoiced [G5463] exceedingly [G4970]. And [G2532] he said [G2036], Blessed be [G2128] Boss '[G2962] today [G4594] who [G3739] gives [G1325] the [G3588] to David son [G5207] an intelligent [G5429] over [G1909] the [G3588] people [G2992] the [G3588] populous [G4183] this [G3778].
8: And [G2532] Hiram sent to [G4314] Solomon, saying [G3004], I have heard concerning [G4012] all [G3956] which [G3739] you have sent to [G4314] me [G1473]. I [G1473] will do [G4160] all [G3956] your will [G2307][G1473] for [G1519] timbers [G3586] of cedars and [G2532] of pines .
9: the [G3588] My servants [G1401][G1473] will lead [G2609] them [G1473] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] Lebanon into [G1519] the [G3588] sea [G2281]; and [G2532] I [G1473] will put [G5087] them [G1473] on barges unto [G2193] the [G3588] place [G5117] of which [G3739] ever you should send for [G4314] me [G1473]. And [G2532] I will shake them off [G1621][G1473] there [G1563], and [G2532] you [G1473] will lift them . And [G2532] you [G1473] will produce [G4160] for the [G3588] my want [G2307][G1473], the [G3588] to give [G1325] bread loaves [to the [G3588] my house [G3624][G1473].
10: And [G2532] Hiram was giving [G1325] the [G3588] to Solomon cedars [G2748] and [G2532] pines according to [G2596] all [G3956] the [G3588] his want [G2307][G1473].
11: And [G2532] Solomon gave [G1325] the [G3588] to Hiram twenty [G1501] thousand [G5505] cors [G2884] of wheat , and [G2532] food [to the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473], and [G2532] twenty [G1501] baths of olive oil [G1637] being pounded . According to [G2596] this [G3778] Solomon gave [G1325] the [G3588] to Hiram yearly [G2596][G1763].
12: And [G2532] Boss '[G2962] gave [G1325] the [G3588] to Solomon wisdom [G4678] as [G2531] he said [G2980] to him [G1473]. And [G2532] there was peace [G1515] between Hiram and [G2532] between Solomon. And [G2532] they ordained [G1303] a covenant [G1242] between them [G1473].
13: And [G2532] brought the [G3588] king Solomon] tribute [G5411] from [G1537] all [G3956] Israel. And [G2532] was the [G3588] tribute [G5411] thirty [G5144] thousand [G5505] men .
14: And [G2532] he sent them [G1473] to [G1519] the [G3588] Lebanon -- ten [G1176] thousand [G5505] every [G1722] the [G3588] month [G3376] being changed . month [G3376] one [G1520] They were in [G1722] the [G3588] Lebanon], and [G2532] two [G1417] months [G3376] at [G1722] their house [G3624][G1473]. And [G2532] Adoniram [was] over [G1909] the [G3588] tribute [G5411].
15: And [G2532] were the [G3588] unto Solomon seventy [G1440] thousand [G5505] lifting a load , and [G2532] eighty [G3589] thousand [G5505] quarriers in [G1722] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735];
16: separate from [G5565] the [G3588] rulers the [G3588] being placed [G2525] over [G1909] the [G3588] works [G2041] of the [G3588] Solomon -- three thousand [G5153] and [G2532] three hundred [G5145] supervisors over [G1988] the [G3588] people [G2992] of the [G3588] [ones] doing [G4160] the [G3588] works [G2041].
17: And [G2532] gave charge [G1781] the [G3588] king , and [G2532] they lifted stones [G3037] great [G3173] valuable [G5093] for [G1519] the [G3588] foundation [G2310] of the [G3588] house [G3624], and [G2532] stones [G3037] unhewn .
18: And [G2532] hewed the [G3588] servants [G1401] of Solomon], and [G2532] the [G3588] servants [G1401] of Hiram, and [G2532] the [G3588] Giblites. And [G2532] they prepared [G2090] the [G3588] stones [G3037] and [G2532] the [G3588] timbers [G3586] [to the [G3588] build [G3618] the [G3588] house [G3624].
