Genesis Chapter 1 - | Early Church Bible

1: In [G1722] beginning made [G4160] the [G3588] God '[G2316] ("Powers" ) the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] and [G2532] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
2: But the [G3588][G1161] land '[G1093] was unseen and [G2532] unready , and [G2532] darkness [G4655] [was] upon [G1883] the [G3588] abyss , and [G2532] a wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] [of] God '[G2316] bore [G2018] upon [G1883] the [G3588] water [G5204].
3: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316], Let there be [G1096] light [G5457]! And [G2532] there was [G1096] light [G5457].
4: And [G2532] looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] light [G5457] that [G3754] [it was] good [G2570]. And [G2532] parted [G1316] the [G3588] God '[G2316] between the [G3588] light [G5457] and [G2532] between the [G3588] darkness [G4655].
5: And [G2532] called [G2564] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] light [G5457], "Day" [G2250], and [G2532] the [G3588] darkness [G4655] he called [G2564], "Night" [G3571]; and [G2532] there was [G1096] evening [G2073] and [G2532] there was [G1096] morning [G4404], day [G2250] one [G1520].
6: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316], Let there be [G1096] a structure [G4733] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] water [G5204], and [G2532] let it be [for] parting [G1316] between water [G5204] and [G2532] water [G5204]!
7: And [G2532] made [G4160] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] structure [G4733], and [G2532] parted [G1316] the [G3588] God '[G2316] between the [G3588] water [G5204] which [G3739] was underneath [G5270] the [G3588] structure [G4733], and [G2532] between the [G3588] water [G5204] the [G3588] [one] above in [G1883] the [G3588] structure [G4733].
8: And [G2532] called [G2564] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] structure [G4733], "Raised-place-above (sky)" '[G3772]. And [G2532] looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] God '[G2316] that [G3754] [it was] good [G2570]; and [G2532] there was [G1096] evening [G2073] and [G2532] there was [G1096] morning [G4404], day [G2250] second [G1208].
9: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316], Let come together [G4863] the [G3588] water [G5204] the [G3588] underneath [G5270] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] into [G1519] gathering [G4864] one [G1520], and [G2532] let appear [G3708] the [G3588] dry [land [G3584]! And [G2532] it was [G1096] so [G3779]. And [G2532] gathered together [G4863] the [G3588] water [G5204] the [G3588] underneath [G5270] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] into [G1519] the [G3588] gatherings [G4864] of them [G1473], and [G2532] appeared [G3708] the [G3588] dry [land [G3584].
10: And [G2532] called [G2564] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] dry [land [G3584], "Land" '[G1093]; and [G2532] the [G3588] collections of the [G3588] waters [G5204] he called [G2564], "Seas" [G2281]. And [G2532] looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] God '[G2316] that [G3754] [it was] good [G2570].
11: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316], Let grow the [G3588] land '[G1093] pasturage [G1008] of grass [G5528] sowing [G4687] seed [G4690] according to [G2596] type [G1085], and [G2532] according to [G2596] likeness [G3665], and [G2532] tree [G3586] fruitful producing [G4160] fruit [G2590] which [G3739] the [G3588] seed [G4690] of it [G1473] [is] in [G1722] it [G1473], according to [G2596] type [G1085] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]! And [G2532] it was [G1096] so [G3779].
12: And [G2532] brought forth [G1627] the [G3588] land '[G1093] pasturage [G1008] of grass [G5528] sowing [G4687] seed [G4690], according to [G2596] type [G1085], and [G2532] according to [G2596] likeness [G3665]; and [G2532] tree [G3586] fruitful producing [G4160] fruit [G2590] which [G3739] the [G3588] seed [G4690] of it [G1473] [is] in [G1722] it [G1473], according to [G2596] type [G1085] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
13: And [G2532] looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] God '[G2316] that [G3754] [it was] good [G2570]. And [G2532] there was [G1096] evening [G2073] and [G2532] there was [G1096] morning [G4404], day [G2250] third [G5154].
14: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316], Let there be [G1096] luminaries [G5458] in [G1722] the [G3588] structure [G4733] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] for [G1519] giving light upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], the [G3588] to part [G1316] between the [G3588] day [G2250] and [G2532] between the [G3588] night [G3571]! And [G2532] let them be for [G1519] signs [G4592], and [G2532] for [G1519] times [G2540], and [G2532] for [G1519] days [G2250], and [G2532] for [G1519] years [G1763]!
15: And [G2532] let them be for [G1519] giving light in [G1722] the [G3588] structure [G4733] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], so as [G5620] to shine [G5316] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]! And [G2532] it was [G1096] so [G3779].
16: And [G2532] made [G4160] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] two [G1417] luminaries [G5458] the [G3588] great [G3173]; the [G3588] luminary [G5458] the [G3588] greater [G3173] for [G1519] beginnings of the [G3588] day [G2250], and [G2532] the [G3588] luminary [G5458] the [G3588] lesser [G1640] for [G1519] beginnings of the [G3588] night [G3571], and [G2532] the [G3588] stars .
17: And [G2532] put [G5087] them [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316] in [G1722] the [G3588] structure [G4733] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], so as [G5620] to shine [G5316] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093],
18: and [G2532] to begin the [G3588] day [G2250] and [G2532] the [G3588] night [G3571], and [G2532] to part [G1316] between the [G3588] light [G5457] and [G2532] between the [G3588] darkness [G4655]. And [G2532] looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] God '[G2316] that [G3754] [it was] good [G2570].
19: And [G2532] there was [G1096] evening [G2073] and [G2532] there was [G1096] morning [G4404], day [G2250] fourth [G5067].
20: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316], Let bring forth [G1806] the [G3588] waters [G5204] reptiles [G2062] lives [G5590] of living [G2198], and [G2532] winged creatures [G4071] flying [G4072] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] below [G2596] the [G3588] structure [G4733] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]! And [G2532] it was [G1096] so [G3779].
21: And [G2532] made [G4160] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] whales [G2785] the [G3588] great [G3173], and [G2532] every [G3956] life [G5590] of living creatures [G2226] of reptiles [G2062] which [G3739] brought forth [G1806] the [G3588] waters [G5204] according to [G2596] their types [G1085][G1473]; and [G2532] every [G3956] winged creature [G4071] feathered according to [G2596] type [G1085]. And [G2532] looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] God '[G2316] that [G3754] [it was] good [G2570].
22: And [G2532] blessed [G2127] them [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316], saying [G3004], Grow and [G2532] multiply [G4129], and [G2532] fill [G4137] the [G3588] waters [G5204] in [G1722] the [G3588] seas [G2281]! And [G2532] the [G3588] winged creatures [G4071] let] be multiplied [G4129] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]!
23: And [G2532] there was [G1096] evening [G2073] and [G2532] there was [G1096] morning [G4404], day [G2250] fifth [G3991].
24: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316], Let bring forth [G1806] the [G3588] land '[G1093] life [G5590] living [G2198] according to [its [G2596] type [G1085] -- four-footed [G5074], and [G2532] reptiles [G2062], and [G2532] wild beasts [G2342] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] according to [G2596] type [G1085]! And [G2532] it was [G1096] so [G3779].
25: And [G2532] made [G4160] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] wild beasts [G2342] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] according to [G2596] type [G1085], and [G2532] the [G3588] cattle [G2934] according to [G2596] type [G1085] of them [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] reptiles [G2062] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] according to [G2596] type [G1085]. And [G2532] looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] God '[G2316] that [G3754] [it was] good [G2570].
26: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316], Let us make [G4160] man according to [G2596] image [G1504] our [G2251], and [G2532] according to [G2596] likeness [G3669]! And [G2532] let them control the [G3588] fishes [G2486] of the [G3588] sea [G2281], and [G2532] the [G3588] winged creatures [G4071] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] the [G3588] cattle [G2934], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] reptiles [G2062] of the [G3588] [ones] crawling upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]!
27: And [G2532] made [G4160] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] man . According to [G2596] image [G1504] of God '[G2316] he made [G4160] him [G1473]. Male and [G2532] female [G2338] he made [G4160] them [G1473].
28: And [G2532] blessed [G2127] them [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316], saying [G3004], Grow and [G2532] multiply [G4129], and [G2532] fill [G4137] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] dominate [G2634] it [G1473]! And [G2532] control the [G3588] fishes [G2486] of the [G3588] sea [G2281], and [G2532] the [G3588] winged creatures [G4071] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] cattle [G2934], and [G2532] all [G3956] of the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] all [G3956] of the [G3588] reptiles [G2062] of the [ones] the [G3588] crawling upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]!
29: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316], look [G2400], I have given [G1325] to you [G1473] every [G3956] grass [G5528] fit for sowing [G4702] a sowing [G4687] of seed [G4690] which [G3739] is upon [G1883] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] every [G3956] tree [G3586] which [G3739] has [G2192] in [G1722] itself [G1438] a fruit [G2590] seed [G4690] fit for sowing [G4702]; to you [G1473] it will be for [G1519] food [G1035],
30: and [G2532] to all [G3956] the [G3588] wild beasts [G2342] of the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] to all [G3956] the [G3588] winged creatures [G4071] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] to every [G3956] reptile [G2062] crawling upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], which [G3739] has [G2192] in [G1722] itself [G1438] breath [G5590] of life [G2222], even [G2532] every [G3956] grass [G5528] green [G5515] for [G1519] food [G1035]. And [G2532] it was [G1096] so [G3779].
31: And [G2532] looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] he made [G4160]. And [G2532] it looked [G2400] good [G2570] exceedingly [G3029]. And [G2532] there was [G1096] evening [G2073] and [G2532] there was [G1096] morning [G4404], day [G2250] sixth [G1622].
