Job Chapter 9 -

» Job » Chapter 9
1
And undertaking [G5274][G1161], Job says [G3004],
2
In [G1909] truth I know [G1492] that [G3754] it is so [G3779]; for how [G4459][G1063] will there be a just [G1342] mortal before [G3844] Boss '[G2962]?
3
For if [G1437][G1063] he should want [G1014] to enter into judgment [G2919] with him [G1473], in no way will [God] obey [G5219] him [G1473], [so] that [G2443] he will not [G3361] contradict with [G4314] one [G1520] word [G3056] of of him '[G1473] from out of [G1537] a thousand [G5507].
4
wise [G4680] For [G1063] he is in thought [G1271], fortified [G2900] also [G5037], and [G2532] great [G3173]. Who [G5100] hard [G4642] being [G1096] before [G1726] him [G1473] even [G2532] made peace [G1514]?
5
Of the [G3588] old [G3822] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735] even [G2532] do not [G3756] know [G1492] the [G3588] [one] eradicating [G2690] them [G1473] in anger [G3709].
6
the [one] [G3588] shaking [G4579] the [thing] [G3588] under [G5259] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] from [G1537] [its] foundations [G2310], and the [G3588][G1161] columns [G4769] of it [G1473] shake [G4531].
7
the [one] [G3588] speaking [G3004] to the [G3588] sun [G2246], and [G2532] it does not [G3756] rise ; and accordingly [G2596][G1161] stars he seals up [G2696].
8
the [one] [G3588] stretching the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] alone [G3441], and [G2532] walking [G4043] as [G5613] upon [G1909] a floor [G1475] upon [G1909] sea [G2281].
9
the [one] [G3588] making [G4160] Pleiades and [G2532] Hesperus and [G2532] Arcturus, and [G2532] chambers [G5009] of south [G3558].
10
the [one] [G3588] doing [G4160] great [G3173] and [G2532] untraceable [things] ; honorable [G1741] also [G5037], and [G2532] extraordinary [things] which [G3739] there is no [G3756] number .
11
If [G1437] he should pass over [G5233] me [G1473], in no way will I look [at] [it [G1492]; and [G2532] if [G1437] he should go by [G3928] me [G1473], neither [G3761] [thus [G5613] I knew [it [G1097].
12
If [G1437] he dismisses , who [G5100] returns ? or [G2228] who [G5100] will say [G2046] to him [G1473], What did [G5100] you do [G4160]?
13
The [G3588] God '[G2316] [will] not [G3756] turn away the [G3588] anger [G3709], under [G5259] him [G1473] but [G1161] were bent [G2578] whales [G2785] the [G3588] under [G5259] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772].
14
But then [G1437][G1161] should he obey me [G1473][G5219], or [G2228] will he litigate [G1252] the [G3588] my things [G4487][G1473]?
15
even if [G1437][G5037] For [G1063] just [G1342] I should be will he listen not to [G3756][G1522] me [G1473]? the [G3588] his equity [G2917][G1473] I will beseech [G1189].
16
And if [G1437][G1161] I should call [G2564] and [G2532] he should hearken [G5219], I do not trust [G3756][G4100] that [G3754] he has listened to [G1522] my [G1473] the [G3588] voice [G5456].
17
not [G3361] by dimness [G1105] He should obliterate me [G1473]; but many [G4183][G1161] of my [G1473] the [G3588] bruises [G4938] he has made [G4160] without cause .
18
not [G3756] he allows [G1439] For [G1063] me [G1473] to breathe , and he filled [G1705][G1161] me [G1473] [with] bitterness [G4088].
19
For indeed [G3754][G3303][G1063] by strength [G2479] he prevails [G2902]; who [G5100] then [G3767] his judgment [G2917][G1473] will oppose ?
20
For if [G1437][G1161] I might be just [G1342], the [G3588] mouth [G4750] of me [G1473] will be impious ; and though [G1437][G1161] I might be blameless , perverse [G4646] I will turn out .
21
For whether [G1535][G1063] I was impious , I do not know [G3756][G1492] [in the [G3588] soul [G5590]; besides [G4133], is removed from me [G1473] the [G3588] life [G2222].
22
Therefore [G1352] I said [G2036], great [G3173] and [G2532] mighty one [G1413] he destroys [in the [G3588] wrath [G3709].
23
For [G3754] vile [G5337] in [G1722] death [G2288] [are] extraordinary , but just [G1342] [are] ridiculed [G2606].
24
For they are delivered [G3860][G1063] into [G1519] hands [G5495] of impious ; faces [G4383] of her judges [G2923][G1473] he covers up [G4780]; but if not [G1490] he [G1473], who [G5100] is it ?
25
the [G3588] But [G1161] my existence [G1473] is lighter [G1645] than a runner ; [my days] ran away , and [G2532] they knew it not [G3756][G1492].
26
Or [G2228] also [G2532] is there of ships [G3491] a trace [G2487] in way [G3598]? or [G2228] [a trace of] an eagle flying [G4072] seeking [G2212] prey ?
27
For if also [G1437][G5037][G1063] I said [G2036], I will forget [G1950] about speaking [G2980], I will stoop down [G4794] the [G3588] [my] countenance [G4383] [and] I will moan [G4727].
28
I shake [G4579] in all [G3956] the [G3588] [my] limbs [G3196], for I know [G1492][G1063] that [G3754] not [G3756] me be innocent [G1473] you will let [G1439].
29
But since [G1894][G1161] I am impious , for [G1519] why [G5100] [is] this [G3778] in vain [G3155] I labor [G2872]?
30
For if [G1437][G1063] I should wash myself off with snow [G5510], and [G2532] should clear away [my] hands [G5495] clean [G2513],
31
fittingly in [G1722] my filth [G4509][G1473] you dipped me ; abhorred and [G1161] me [G1473] the [G3588] [my] apparel [G4749].
32
not [G3756] For [G1063] you are a man like [G2596] me [G1473], with whom [G3739] I can judge by comparison , that [G2443] we should come [G2064] with one accord [G3661] for [G1519] judgment [G2920].
33
If indeed [G1489] was [present the [G3588] our mediator [G3316][G1473], and [G2532] one reproving [G1651], and [G2532] one hearing [G1251] between both ,
34
let him dismiss from me [G1473] the [G3588] rod [G4464], the [G3588] and [G1161] fear [G5401] of him [G1473] let not [G3361][G1473] whirl about ,
35
and [G2532] in no way will I fear [G5399], but I will speak [G2980], for I am not [G3756][G1063] thus [G3779] conscious [of guilt .
