1 Corinthians Chapter 10 - | Early Church Bible

1: I do not [G3756] want [G2309] But [G1161] you [G1473] to be ignorant , brothers , [but know] that [G3754] the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473] all [G3956] under [G5259] the [G3588] cloud [G3507] were , and [G2532] all [G3956] through [G1223] the [G3588] sea [G2281] went [G1330],
2: and [G2532] all [G3956] unto [G1519] the [G3588] Moses were submerged in [G1722] the [G3588] cloud [G3507] and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] sea [G2281],
3: and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] same [G1473] food [G1033] of wind/spirit/breathing '[G4152] ate [G2068],
4: and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] same [G1473] drink [G4188] of wind/spirit/breathing '[G4152] drank [G4095]; for they drank [G4095][G1063] from [G1537] a of wind/spirit/breathing '[G4152] following rock [G4073], and the [G3588][G1161] rock [G4073] was the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547].
5: But not [G3756] with [G1722] the [G3588] most [G4183] of them did [G1473] think well of [G2106] the [G3588] God '[G2316]; for they were prostrated [G2693][G1063] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048].
6: But these [things] [G3778][G1161] models [G5179] for us [G1473] became [G1096], for [G1519] the [G3588] not [G3361] to be us [G1473] cravers [G1938] of evils [G2556], as [G2531] those also [G2548] were cravers [G1937].
7: Neither [G3366] idolaters [G1496] become [G1096], as [G2531] some [G5100] of them [G1473]. As [G5613] it has been written [G1125], sat down [G2523] the [G3588] people [G2992] to eat [G2068] and [G2532] to drink [G4095], and [G2532] rose up to play [G3815].
8: Neither [G3366] should we commit harlotry [G4203], as [G2531] some [G5100] of them [G1473] committed harlotry [G4203], and [G2532] fell [G4098] in [G1722] one [G1520] day [G2250] twenty-three thousand [G5505].
9: Neither [G3366] should we put to test [G1598] the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547], as [G2531] also [G2532] some [G5100] of them [G1473] tested [G3985], and [G2532] by [G5259] the [G3588] serpents [G3789] perished .
10: Neither [G3366] grumble [G1111]! as [G2531] also [G2532] some [G5100] of them [G1473] grumbled [G1111], and [G2532] perished by [G5259] the [G3588] annihilator [G3644].
11: And these [things] [G3778][G1161] all [G3956] as models [G5179] came to pass [G4819] to them [G1565]; and they were written [G1125][G1161] for [G4314] our admonition [G3559][G1473], unto [G1519] whom [G3739] the [G3588] ends [G5056] of the [G3588] ages (terms) ` are arrived [G2658].
12: So that [G5620] the [G3588] [one] thinking [G1380] to stand [G2476], take heed lest [G3361] he should fall [G4098]!
13: A test [G3986] you [G1473] has not [G3756] taken [G2983] except [G1508] what belongs to a human ; is trustworthy [G4103] but [G1161] the [G3588] God '[G2316], who [G3739] will not [G3756] allow [G1439] you [G1473] to be tested [G3985] above [G5228] what [G3739] you are able [G1410]; but will make [G4160] with [G4862] the [G3588] test [G3986] also [G2532] the [G3588] way out [G1545], the [G3588] to be able [G1410] for you [G1473] to endure [G5297].
14: Therefore [G1355], my beloved [G1473], flee [G5343] from the [G3588] idolatry [G1495]!
15: As [G5613] practical [G5429] I speak [G3004]; you judge [G2919][G1473] what [G3739] I say [G5346]!
16: The [G3588] cup [G4221] of the [G3588] blessing [G2129] which [G3739] we bless [G2127], not [G3780] fellowship [G2842] of the [G3588] blood of the [G3588] Anointed "'[G5547] is it ? the [G3588] bread which [G3739] we break [G2806], not [G3780] fellowship [G2842] of the [G3588] body [G4983] of the [G3588] Anointed "'[G5547] is it ?
17: For [G3754] [as] one [G1520] bread [loaf , [are] one [G1520] body [G4983] the [G3588] many [G4183] we ; for the [G3588] [G1063] all [G3956] of [G1537] the [G3588] [one] [G1520] bread [loaf we partake [G3348].
18: Look at the [G3588] Israel according to [G2596] flesh [G4561]! not [G3780] the [G3588] [ones] eating [G2068] the [G3588] sacrifices [G2378] partners [G2844] of the [G3588] altar [G2379] Are ?
19: What [G5100] then [G3767] say I [G5346], that [G3754] an idol [G1497] is anything [G5100], or [G2228] that [G3754] [what is] sacrificed to an idol [G1494] is anything [G5100]?
20: But that [G3754] which [G3739] sacrifice [G2380] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], to demons [G1140] they sacrifice [G2380], and [G2532] not [G3756] to God '[G2316]; I do not [G3756] want [G2309] but [G1161] you [G1473] partners [G2844] of the [G3588] demons [G1140] to become [G1096].
21: You are not able to [G3756][G1410] cup [G4221] of Boss '[G2962] drink [G4095], and [G2532] cup [G4221] of demons [G1140]; you are not able [G3756][G1410] of table [G5132] of Boss '[G2962] to partake [G3348], and [G2532] table [G5132] of demons [G1140].
22: Or [G2228] do we provoke to jealousy [G3863] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]? Are [G3361] stronger [G2478] than he [G1473] we ?
23: All [things] [G3956] to me [G1473] are allowed [G1832], but not [G3756] all [things] [G3956] are advantageous [G4851]. All [things] [G3956] to me [G1473] are allowed [G1832], but not [G3756] all [things] [G3956] build up [G3618].
24: no one [G3367] of the [G3588] himself [G1438] Let seek [G2212], but the [thing] [G3588] of the [G3588] other [G2087] each [G1538].
25: Everything [G3956] the [G3588] in [G1722] market place [G3111] being sold [G4453] eat of [G2068]! nothing [G3367] questioning on account of [G1223] the [G3588] conscience [G4893].
26: For of the [G3588][G1063] Boss '[G2962] [is] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] the [G3588] fullness [G4138] of it [G1473].
27: And if [G1487][G1161] anyone [G5100] invite [G2564] you [G1473] of the [G3588] unbelieving ones , and [G2532] you want [G2309] to go [G4198], all [G3956] the [G3588] being placed near [G3908] you [G1473] eat of [G2068]! nothing [G3367] questioning on account of [G1223] the [G3588] conscience [G4893].
28: But if [G1437][G1161] anyone [G5100] should say to you [G1473][G2036], This [G3778] is sacrificed to idols [G1494], do not [G3361] eat [G2068] on account of [G1223] that one [G1565], the [G3588] [one] indicating [G3377] and [G2532] the [G3588] conscience sake [G4893]! For of the [G3588][G1063] Boss '[G2962] [is] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] the [G3588] fullness [G4138] of it [G1473].
29: But conscience [G4893][G1161], I say [G3004], [is] not [G3780] the [G3588] [one] of yourself [G1438], but the [G3588] [one] of the [G3588] other [G2087]. For why [is [G2444][G1063] the [G3588] my freedom [G1657][G1473] judged [G2919] by [G5259] another's conscience [G4893]?
30: If [G1487] I [G1473] favor [G5484] partake in [G3348], why [G5100] am I blasphemed for [G5228] what [G3739] I [G1473] give thanks [G2168]?
31: Whether [G1535] then [G3767] you eat [G2068], [or] whether [G1535] you drink [G4095], [or] whether [G1535] anything [G5100] you do [G4160], all [G3956] unto [G1519] glory [G1391] of God '[G2316] do [G4160]!
32: not a cause for stumbling Become [G1096] -- even [G2532] Jews, even [G2532] Greeks, even [G2532] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] of the [G3588] God '[G2316]!
33: as [G2531] even I [G2504] all [men [G3956] in all [things] [G3956] please , not [G3361] seeking [G2212] for the [G3588] myself [G1683] advantage [G4851], but the [advantage for the [G3588] [G3588] many [G4183], that [G2443] they should be delivered [G4982].
