Micah Chapter 1 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] came to pass [G1096] word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Micah the [G3588] [one] of the [G3588] Morasthite, in [G1722] days [G2250] of Jotham, and [G2532] Ahaz, and [G2532] Hezekiah, kings of Judah, over [G5228] what [G3739] he saw [G1492] concerning [G4012] Samaria and [G2532] concerning [G4012] Jerusalem.
2: Hear , O peoples [G2992], all [G3956] words [G3056]! and [G2532] take heed [G4337], O the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] it [G1473]! Even [G2532] will be Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] among [G1722] you [G1473] for [G1519] a testimony [G3142] -- Boss '[G2962] from out of [G1537] house [G3624] his pure '[G1473].
3: For [G1360] look [G2400], Boss '[G2962] goes forth [G1607] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] his place [G5117][G1473], and [G2532] he will go down [G2597], and [G2532] will mount [G1910] upon [G1909] the [G3588] heights [G5311] of the [G3588] land '[G1093].
4: And [G2532] will be shaken [G4531] the [G3588] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735] from beneath him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] valleys will melt away [G5080] as [G5616] beeswax from in front [G4383] of fire [G4442], and [G2532] as [G5613] water [G5204] being carried down [G2702] in [G1722] a descent [G2600].
5: [are] on account of [G1223] impiety of Jacob All [G3956] these [things] [G3778], and [G2532] because of [G1223] sin of house [G3624] of Israel. What [G5100] [is] the [G3588] impiety of Jacob? [Is it] not [G3780] the [G3588] Samaria? And [G2532] what [G5100] [is] the [G3588] sin of house [G3624] of Judah? [Is it] not [G3780] Jerusalem?
6: And [G2532] I will make [G5087] Samaria for [G1519] a storehouse of fruits of field , and [G2532] for [G1519] planting [G5451] a vineyard . And [G2532] I will tear down in [G1519] chaos the [G3588] her stones [G3037][G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] her foundations [G2310][G1473] I will uncover .
7: And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] her carved [images [G1473] I will cut in pieces [G2629], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] her hires [G3410][G1473] will burn [G1714] in fire [G4442], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] her idols [G1497][G1473] I will establish [G5087] for [G1519] extinction , because [G1360] of [G1537] hires [G3410] of harlotry [G4202] she gathered together [G4863], and [G2532] of [G1537] hires [G3410] of harlotry [G4204] he eradicated [G2690].
8: Because of [G1752] this [G3778] she will beat her chest [G2875] and [G2532] wail [G2354]. She will go [G4198] barefoot and [G2532] naked [G1131]. She will make [G4160] a beating of the breast [G2870] as [G5613] dragons [G1404], and [G2532] mourning [G3997] as [G5613] daughters [G2364] of sirens .
9: For [G3754] holds firmly the [G3588] her calamity [G4127][G1473]; because [G1360] it went [G2064] unto [G2193] Judah; and [G2532] it touched unto [G2193] gate [G4439] of my people [G2992][G1473], unto [G2193] Jerusalem.
10: O ones the [G3588] in [G1722] Gath, do not [G3361] magnify yourselves [G3170]! And [G2532], O ones the [G3588] in [G1722] Baceim, do not [G3361] rebuild of [G1537] [your] house [G3624] with [G2596] laughter [G1071]! land '[G1093] Strew on your laughter [G1473]!
11: Her inhabiting [G2730] well [G2573] the [G3588] her cities [G4172][G1473] did not [G3756] come forth [G1831]. Her inhabiting [G2730] Zaanan to beat her chest [G2875] [for the] house [G3624] next [G2192] to her [G1473]; she will receive [G2983] from [G1537] your [G1473] calamity [G4127] of grief [G3601].
12: Who [G5100] began [to act] for [G1519] good to her dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] griefs [G3601]? for [G3754] came down [G2597] bad [things] [G2556] from [G3844] Boss '[G2962] upon [G1909] gates [G4439] of Jerusalem;
13: [even] noise of chariots and [G2532] ones riding . Dwelling [G2730] Lachish head of sin is to the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of Zion; for [G3754] in [G1722] you [G1473] they found [G2147] impious deeds of Israel.
14: On account of [G1223] this [G3778] he will grant [G1325] ones to be sent forth [G1821] unto [G2193] inheritance [G2817] of Gath, houses [G3624] vain [G3152]; for [G1519] vanity [G2756] they became [G1096] to the [G3588] kings of Israel;
15: until [G2193] the [G3588] heirs [G2818] they should convey ' to you [G1473], O inhabitant [G2730] of Lachish, your inheritance [G2817][G1473]. Unto [G2193] Adullam will come [G2240] glory [G1391] of the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of Israel].
16: Shave [G3587] and [G2532] shear [G2751] for [G1909] the [G3588] children [G5043] the [G3588] your delightful [G1473], widening the [G3588] your shaving [G1473] as [G5613] an eagle , for [G3754] they were taken captive from you [G1473].
