1: came [G2064] And [G1161] Joseph] to report the [G3588] to Pharaoh, saying [G3004], the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] my brothers [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] cattle [G2934], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir oxen [G1016][G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] their [things] the [G3588][G1473], are come [G2064] from [G1537] land '[G1093] of Canaan, and [G2532] look [G2400], they are in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Goshen.
2: And from [G1161] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] he took to himself [G3880] five [G4002] men , and [G2532] stood [G2476] them [G1473] before [G1726] Pharaoh.
3: And [G2532] Pharaoh said [G2036] to the [G3588] brothers of Joseph, What is [G5100] the [G3588] your work [G2041][G1473]? the [G3588] And [G1161] they said [G2036] the [G3588] to Pharaoh, [are] shepherds [G4166] of flocks [G4263] the [G3588] Your servants [G3816][G1473], even [G2532] we [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473].
4: And they said [G2036][G1161] to Pharaoh, to sojourn [G3939] in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] We come [G2240], no [G3756] for [G1063] there is pasture [G3542] for the [G3588] cattle [G2934] of the [G3588] your servants [G3816][G1473], grew in strength [G1765] for [G1063] the [G3588] famine [G3042] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Canaan. Now [G3568] then [G3767] let dwell [G2730] the [G3588] your servants [G3816][G1473] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Goshen!
5: And [G2532] Pharaoh said [G2036] to [G4314] Joseph, saying [G3004], the [G3588] Father [G3962] of you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] your brothers [G1473] have come [G2240] to [G4314] you [G1473].
6: look [G2400], the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Egypt before [G1726] you [G1473] is , in [G1722] the [G3588] best land '[G1093] settle the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] your brothers [G1473]. Let them dwell [G2730] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Goshen! And if [G1487][G1161] you should have knowledge [G1987] that [G3754] there are among [G1722] them [G1473] men able [G1415], you place [G2525] them [G1473] in charge of the [G3588] my [G1699] cattle [G2934]!
7: brought in [G1521] And [G1161] Joseph] Jacob the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] stood [G2476] him [G1473] before [G1726] Pharaoh. And [G2532] Jacob blessed [G2127] the [G3588] Pharaoh.
8: said [G2036] And [G1161] Pharaoh the [G3588] to Jacob, How many [are the [G4214] years [G2094] of days [G2250] of the [G3588] your life [G2222][G1473]?
9: And [G2532] Jacob said [G2036] the [G3588] to Pharaoh, the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] years [G2094] of the [G3588] my life [G2222][G1473] which [G3739] I sojourned [G3939] [are a] hundred [G1540] thirty [G5144] years [G2094]; small [G3397] and [G2532] severe [G4190] have become [G1096] the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] years [G2094] of the [G3588] my life [G2222][G1473]; they did not [G3756] attain to [G1519] the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] years [G2094] of the [G3588] life [G2222] of the [G3588] my fathers [G3962][G1473], which [G3739] days [G2250] they sojourned [G3939].
10: And [G2532] Jacob having blessed [G2127] the [G3588] Pharaoh, he went forth [G1831] from him [G1473].
11: And [G2532] Joseph settled the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473], and [G2532] he gave [G1325] to them [G1473] a possession [G2697] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Egypt, in [G1722] the [G3588] best land '[G1093], in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Rameses, as [G2505] Pharaoh assigned [G4367].
12: And [G2532] Joseph measured out grain [to the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] [to the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473], and [G2532] to all [G3956] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473] -- grain [G4621] according to [G2596] person [G4983].
13: grain [G4621] And [G1161] no [G3756] there was in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093]. grew in strength [G1765] For [G1063] the [G3588] famine [G3042] exceedingly [G4970]. failed [G1587] And [G1161] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Egypt], and [G2532] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Canaan, because off the [G3588] famine [G3042].
14: brought together [G4863] And [G1161] Joseph] all [G3956] the [G3588] silver the [G3588] being found [G2147] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Egypt, and [G2532] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Canaan, from the [G3588] grain [G4621] which [G3739] they bought . And [G2532] he measured out grain to them [G1473]. And [G2532] Joseph carried in [G1533] all [G3956] the [G3588] silver into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Pharaoh.
15: And [G2532] dissipated [G1587] all [G3956] the [G3588] silver from [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt, and [G2532] from [G1537] land '[G1093] of Canaan. came [G2064] And [G1161] all [G3956] the [G3588] Egyptians] to [G4314] Joseph, saying [G3004], Give [G1325] us [G1473] bread loaves ! And [G2532] why [G2444] should we die before [G1726] you [G1473], has dissipated [G1587] for [G1063] the [G3588] our silver [G1473]?
16: said [G2036] And [G1161] to them [G1473] Joseph], Bring [G5342] the [G3588] cattle [G2934] of you [G1473], and [G2532] I will give [G1325] to you [G1473] bread loaves [in exchange] for the [G3588] cattle [G2934] of you [G1473], if [G1487] has dissipated [G1587] the [G3588] silver .
17: And they conveyed '[G1161] the [G3588]ir cattle [G2934][G1473] to [G4314] Joseph. And [G2532] gave [G1325] to them [G1473] Joseph] bread loaves in return for the [G3588] horses [G2462], and [G2532] for the [G3588] sheep [G4263], and [G2532] for the [G3588] oxen [G1016], and [G2532] for the [G3588] donkeys [G3688]. And [G2532] he nourished [G1625] them [G1473] with [G1722] bread loaves in exchange for all [G3956] of the [G3588]ir cattle [G2934][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] that year [G1763][G1565].
18: went by [G1831] And [G1161] the [G3588] year [G2094] that [G1565], and [G2532] they came [G2064] to [G4314] him [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] year [G2094] the [G3588] second [G1208], and [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473], Lest at some time [G3379] we should be obliterated from the the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473] -- for since [G1487][G1063] has dissipated [G1587] the [G3588] silver , and [G2532] the [G3588] possessions [G5224], and [G2532] the [G3588] cattle [G2934] to [G4314] you [G1473], the [G3588] boss [G2962], and [G2532] there has not been left behind [G3756][G5275] to us [G1473] before [G1726]the the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473], but only the [G3588] our own [G2398] body [G4983] and [G2532] the [G3588] our land '[G1093][G1473],
19: that [G2443] then [G3767] we might not [G3361] die before [G1726] you [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] land '[G1093] should be made desolate [G2049], you acquire [G2932] us [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] our land '[G1093][G1473] for bread loaves , and [G2532] we will be to you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] our land '[G1093][G1473], servants [G3816] the [G3588] to Pharaoh! Give [G1325] [us] seed [G4690]! that [G2443] we should sow [G4687], and [G2532] we should live [G2198] and [G2532] should not [G3361] die , and [G2532] the [G3588] land '[G1093] [will] not [G3756] be made desolate [G2049].
20: And [G2532] Joseph acquired [G2932] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of the [G3588] Egyptians for the [G3588] Pharaoh. gave For [G1063] the [G3588] Egyptians the [G3588]ir land '[G1093][G1473] the [G3588] to Pharaoh. prevailed For [G1063] [over] them [G1473] the [G3588] famine [G3042], and [G2532] came [G1096] the [G3588] land '[G1093] the [G3588] to Pharaoh.
21: And [G2532] the [G3588] people [G2992] were reduced to slavery [G2615] to him [G1473] as [G1519] servants [G3816] from uttermost parts of boundaries [G3725] of Egypt, unto [G2193] the [G3588] uttermost parts ,
22: except [G5565] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of the [G3588] priests [G2409] only [G3440] did not [G3756] acquire [G2932] this [G3778] Joseph], a [G1722] portion [G1394] for [G1063] gave [G1325] [as a] gift [G1390] to the [G3588] priests [G2409] Pharaoh]. And [G2532] they ate [G2068] the [G3588] portion [G1394] which [G3739] gave [G1325] to them [G1473] Pharaoh]. On account [G1223] of this [G3778] they did not [G3756] give up the [G3588]ir land '[G1093][G1473].
23: said [G2036] And [G1161] Joseph] to all [G3956] the [G3588] Egyptians, look [G2400], I have acquired [G2932] you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] your land '[G1093][G1473] today [G4594] for the [G3588] Pharaoh. Take [G2983] to yourselves [G1438] seed [G4690], and [G2532] sow [G4687] the [G3588] land '[G1093]!
24: And [G2532] there will be the [G3588] produce [G1081] of it [G1473], and [G2532] you will give [G1325] the [G3588] fifth [G3991] part [G3313] the [G3588] to Pharaoh, and the [G3588][G1161] four [G5064] parts [G3313] will be for you [G1473] yourselves [G1473], for [G1519] seed [G4690] in the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] for [G1519] food [G1035] to you [G1473], and [G2532] to all [G3956] the [ones] the [G3588] in [G1722] the [G3588] your houses [G3624][G1473].
25: And [G2532] they said [G2036], You have delivered [G4982] us [G1473]; we found [G2147] favor [G5484] before [G1726]the the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473], and [G2532] we will be servants [G3816] [to the [G3588] Pharaoh.
26: And [G2532] established it [G5087] to them [G1473] Joseph] as [G1519] an order until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778] for [G1909] land '[G1093] of Egypt, for the [G3588] Pharaoh to take a fifth , except [G5565] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] of the [G3588] priests [G2409] only [G3440], which [G3739] was not [G3756] [to the [G3588] Pharaoh.
27: dwelt [G2730] And [G1161] Israel] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Egypt, upon [G1909] land '[G1093] of Goshen. And [G2532] they were heir [G2816] over [G1909] it [G1473]. And [G2532] they grew and [G2532] multiplied [G4129] exceedingly [G4970].
28: outlived And [G1161] Jacob] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Egypt for seventeen years [G2094]. And [G2532] were [G1096] the [G3588] days [G2250] of Jacob's years [G1763] of the [G3588] his life [G2222][G1473] a hundred [G1540] forty-seven years [G2094].
29: approached [G1448] And [G1161] the [G3588] days [G2250] for Israel the [G3588] to die . And [G2532] he called [G2564] the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473] Joseph, and [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473], If [G1487] I have found [G2147] favor [G5484] before [G1726] you [G1473], place [G5294] the [G3588] your hand [G5495][G1473] upon [G5259] the [G3588] my thigh [G3382][G1473]! and [G2532] you will do [G4160] for [G1909] me [G1473] a charity [G1654] and [G2532] truth -- [that is the [G3588] to not [G3361] entomb [G2290] me [G1473] in [G1722] Egypt.
30: But I will be gone to sleep [G2837] with [G3326] the [G3588] my fathers [G3962][G1473], then [G2532] you will lift me [G1473] from out of [G1537] Egypt, and [G2532] entomb [G2290] me [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir burying-place [G5028][G1473]. the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G2036], I [G1473] will do [G4160] according to [G2596] the [G3588] your saying [G4487][G1473].
31: And he said [G2036][G1161] to him [G1473], Swear by an oath [G3660] to me [G1473]! And [G2532] he swore by an oath [G3660] to him [G1473]. And [G2532] Israel did obeisance [G4352] upon [G1909] the [G3588] top of the [G3588] his cane [G4464][G1473].
