Genesis Chapter 21 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] Boss '[G2962] visited [G1980] the [G3588] Sarah as [G2505] he said [G2036], and [G2532] BOSS did [G4160][G2962] the [G3588] to Sarah as [G2505] he spoke [G2980].
2: And [G2532] conceiving [G4815], she bore [G5088] the [G3588] to Abraham a son [G5207] in [G1519] [his the [G3588] old age [G1094], in [G1519] the [G3588] time [G2540] as [G2505] spoke [G2980] to him [G1473] Boss '[G2962].
3: And [G2532] Abraham called [G2564] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473], the [one] the [G3588] born [G1096] to him [G1473] whom [G3739] bore [G5088] to him [G1473] Sarah] -- Isaac.
4: circumcised [G4059] And [G1161] Abraham the [G3588] Isaac on the [G3588] eighth [G3590] day [G2250] as [G2505] gave charge [G1781] to him [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316].
5: And [G2532] Abraham was a hundred [G1540] years [old [G2094] when [G2259] was born [G1096] to him [G1473] Isaac the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473].
6: said [G2036] And [G1161] Sarah], laughter [G1071] to me [G1473] caused [G4160] Boss '[G2962], for whoever [G3739][G1063] may hear will rejoice along with [G4796] me [G1473].
7: And [G2532] she said [G2036], Who [G5100] will announce the [G3588] to Abraham that [G3754] nurses [G2337] a male child [G3813] Sarah], for [G3754] I bore [G5088] a son [G5207] in [G1722] the [G3588] my old age [G1094][G1473].
8: And [G2532] grew the [G3588] child [G3813] and [G2532] was weaned . And [G2532] Abraham made [G4160] banquet [G1403] a great [G3173] the [G3588] day [G2250] was weaned Isaac the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473].
9: looking [at] [G1492] And [G1161] Sarah] the [G3588] son [G5207] of Hagar the [G3588] Egyptian, who [G3739] was born [G1096] [to the [G3588] Abraham, playing [G3815] with [G3326] Isaac the [G3588] her son [G5207][G1473],
10: that [G2532] she said [G2036] the [G3588] to Abraham, You cast out [G1544] the [G3588] this maidservant [G3814][G3778] and [G2532] the [G3588] her son [G5207][G1473], [G3756] for [G1063] will not [G3361] be heir [G2816] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] maidservant [G3814] with [G3326] the [G3588] my son [G5207][G1473] Isaac.
11: hard [G4642] But [G1161] appeared [G5316] the [G3588] saying [G4487] very [G4970] before [G1726] Abraham concerning [G4012] the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473] Ishmael.
12: said [G2036] And [G1161] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] to Abraham, not [G3361] hard [G4642] Let it be before [G1726] you [G1473] on account of [G4012] the [G3588] child [G3813], and [G2532] on account of [G4012] the [G3588] maidservant [G3814]! All [G3956] as much [G3745] as should have said [G2036] to you [G1473] Sarah], you hearken to the [G3588] her voice [G5456][G1473]! for [G3754] by [G1722] Isaac will be called [G2564] to you [G1473] a seed [G4690].
13: also [G2532] the [G3588] son [G5207] But [G1161] the [G3588] of this maidservant [G3814][G3778] into [G1519] tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] a great [G3173] I will make [G4160], for he [G1473][G3754] seed [G4690] your [G4674] is .
14: rose up And [G1161] Abraham] in the morning [G4404], and [G2532] took [G2983] bread loaves and [G2532] a leather bag of water [G5204]; and [G2532] he gave [G1325] to the [G3588] Hagar, and [G2532] he placed [G2007] the [G3588] male child [G3813] upon [G1909] the [G3588] her shoulders [G5606][G1473], and [G2532] he sent her [G1473]. And she went forth [G1161] wandering [G4105] about [G2596] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] by [G2596] the [G3588] Well [G5421] of the [G3588] Oath [G3727].
15: ceased [G1587] But [G1161] the [G3588] water [G5204] [coming] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] leather bag , and [G2532] she tossed [G4495] the [G3588] male child [G3813] underneath [G5270] one [G1520] fir tree .
16: And going forth [G1161] she sat down [G2521] before him [G1473], far off [G3113] as [G5616] a bow [G5115] shot [G1000]. For she said [G2036][G1063], no way will I see [G1492] the [G3588] death [G2288] of the [G3588] my child [G3813][G1473]. And [G2532] she sat down [G2523] before him [G1473]. And yelling out [G1161] the [G3588] child [G3813] wept [G2799].
17: listened to [G1522] But [G1161] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] voice [G5456] of the [G3588] child [G3813] from [G1537] the [G3588] place [G5117] where [G3739] he was . And [G2532] called [G2564] [an] word-conveyer (messenger) ' of God '[G2316] the [G3588] Hagar from out of [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] said [G2036] to her [G1473], What [G5100] is it , Hagar? [Do] not [G3361] fear [G5399]! has heeded [G1873] for [G1063] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] voice [G5456] of the [G3588] your child [G3813][G1473] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] place [G5117] where [G3739] he is .
18: Rise up and [G2532] take [G2983] the [G3588] child [G3813], and [G2532] hold [G2902] the [G3588] in your hand [G5495][G1473] it [G1473]! into [G1519] For [G1063] tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] a great [G3173] I will make [G4160] it [G1473].
19: And [G2532] God opened the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588] her eyes [G3788][G1473]. And [G2532] she saw [G1492] a well [G5421] water [G5204] [of] living [G2198]. And [G2532] she went [G4198] and [G2532] filled [G4130] the [G3588] leather bag of the [G3588] water [G5204], and [G2532] gave a drink [G4222] to the [G3588] child [G3813].
20: And [G2532] God was the [G3588][G2316] with [G3326] the [G3588] child [G3813]. And [G2532] he grew , and [G2532] he dwelt [G2730] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048]. And he became [G1096][G1161] a bowman .
21: And [G2532] he dwelt [G2730] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] in Parah. And [G2532] took [G2983] to him [G1473] the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473] a wife [G1135] from [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt.
22: And it came to pass [G1096][G1161] in [G1722] the [G3588] that time [G2540][G1565], that [G2532] Abimelech spoke [G2036], along with [G2532] Ahuzzath the [G3588] his groomsman [G1473], and [G2532] Phichol the [G3588] commander-in-chief of the [G3588] his force [G1411][G1473], to [G4314] Abraham, saying [G3004], the [G3588] God '[G2316] [is] with [G3326] you [G1473] in [G1722] all [things] [G3956] what [G3739] ever you should do [G4160].
23: Now [G3568] then [G3767] swear by an oath [G3660] to me [G1473] the [G3588] [by] God '[G2316] [that you will] not [G3361] wrong me [G1473], nor [G3366] the [G3588] my seed [G4690][G1473], nor [G3366] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473]! but according to [G2596] the [G3588] righteousness [G1343] which [G3739] I did [G4160] with [G3326] you [G1473], you will do [G4160] with [G3326] me [G1473], and [G2532] in the [G3588] land '[G1093] where [G3739] you [G1473] sojourned [G3939] in [G1722] it [G1473].
24: And [G2532] Abraham said [G2036], I [G1473] will swear by an oath [G3660].
25: And [G2532] Abraham reproved [G1651] the [G3588] Abimelech on account of [G4012] the [G3588] wells [G5421] of the [G3588] water [G5204], which [G3739] removed the [G3588] servants [G3816] of the [G3588] Abimelech].
26: And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] Abimelech], I do not know [G3756][G1097] who [G5100] did [G4160] the [G3588] this matter [G4487][G3778], nor [G3761] you [G1473] reported [it] to me [G1473], nor [G3761] I [G1473] heard -- but only today [G4594].
27: And [G2532] Abraham took [G2983] sheep [G4263] and [G2532] calves [G3448], and [G2532] gave [G1325] the [G3588] to Abimelech, and [G2532] ordained [G1303] both a covenant [G1242].
28: And [G2532] Abraham set [G2476] seven [G2033] ewe-lambs of sheep [G4263] alone [G3441].
29: And [G2532] Abimelech said [G2036] the [G3588] to Abraham, What [G5100] are the [G3588] seven [G2033] ewe-lambs of the [G3588] sheep [G4263] -- these [G3778], which [G3739] you set [G2476] alone [G3441]?
30: And [G2532] he said [G2036], that [G3754], the [G3588] seven [G2033] ewe-lambs these [G3778] You will take [G2983] of [G3844] of mine [G1473], that [G2443] they should be to me [G1473] for [G1519] a testimony [G3142] that [G3754] I [G1473] dug [G3736] the [G3588] this well [G5421][G3778].
31: Because of [G1223] this [G3778] was named [G2028] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] that place [G5117][G1565], Well [G5421] of Oath , for [G3754] there [G1563] swore by an oath [G3660] both .
32: And [G2532] they ordained [G1303] a covenant [G1242] at [G1722] the [G3588] Well [G5421] of the [G3588] Oath . rose up And [G1161] Abimelech], and [G2532] Ahuzzath the [G3588] his groomsman [G1473], and [G2532] Phichol the [G3588] commander-in-chief of the [G3588] his force [G1411][G1473], and [G2532] they returned [G1994] to [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of the [G3588] Philistines.
33: And [G2532] Abraham planted [G5452] plowed fields near [G1909] the [G3588] Well [G5421] of the [G3588] Oath [G3727]. And [G2532] he called [G1941] there [G1563] the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962], God '[G2316] of the term (age) '.
34: sojourned [G3939] And [G1161] Abraham] in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of the [G3588] Philistines days [G2250] many [G4183].
